南海是我国目前海上石油勘探与开发的重要海区,而海区及沿岸第四纪沉积研究,是海上石油开发的工程地质重要背景资料.我国南海海区第四纪孢粉藻类研究较差.本书系统研究了南海中北部及沿岸地区第四纪硅藻、孢粉组合,并借助计算机运算,应用因子分析、系统聚类、模糊聚类、对应分析等数理统计方法划带,恢复其硅藻植物群、孢粉植物群,探讨其演替和古气候、古环境变化,确定地层时代,进行地层划分与对比.本书系统研究了南海陆架和中部深海盆地表层沉积的硅藻、孢粉分布规律、组合特征及分区;探讨了孢粉组合、硅藻植物群的特点与环境的关系;南海北部陆缘热带、南亚热带第四纪植被带移动与古气候变化幅度;对结节圆筛藻壳体大小与古环境的相关性  相似文献

对厦门附近二个潮滩表层沉积剖面进行系统的硅藻研究,共发现硅藻107种和变种,分属于37属。获得潮间带和潮下带硅藻组合,其组合均以海水种、半咸水种、淡水种三者兼有为特征,但海水种自潮间带向潮下带比例增多,而淡水种含量则相反,自潮间带向潮下带减少,半咸水种亦呈现从潮间带向潮下带减少的趋势。潮滩表层沉积的硅藻组合研究为利用化石硅藻恢复古环境、岸线变迁、古海面变化提供重要的科学依据。  相似文献

本文对东海陆架DG9617岩芯沉积硅藻进行了研究,共分析鉴定出97种和变种,有近10种硅藻在岩芯中连续分布,且有较高的含量,而其余种类含量极低,仅零星检出。根据该岩芯中产出硅藻种类、含量及硅藻丰度变化特征自下而上共划分出3个硅藻组合带及5个亚带。结合孢粉资料,对产出3个不同硅藻带岩芯的地层年代进行了对比研究,表明该岩芯所代表的地层年代为中-晚全新世,硅藻I组合带大致为大西洋期的沉积,硅藻Ⅱ组合带应为亚北方期的产物,而硅藻Ⅲ组合带与亚大西洋期对应。文中并对不同硅藻组合带产出时的古海洋环境进行了初步探讨。  相似文献

华北是我国第四系研究的典型地区,很多研究者曾对其作过较为全面的讨论.但过去仅研究陆相地层与生物群,缺乏海相化石与年代地层学控制,致使一些有关地层时代与地层对比问题未获解决.六十年代以来,华北地区第四纪海相层与化石的发现、为进行第四系的研究开辟了新的前景.作者及何炎对华北第四纪有孔虫做了一系列研究.安藏生及本文作者对北京平原第四系磁性地层学、海相微体与超微化石做了研究.1975年与1978年,河北省地质局七队与其它单位对河北第四系作过比较全面的总结.基于上述资料及某些磁性地层学资料,我们有可能探讨华北海、陆相第四系的划分、对比及地层界线问题.一、华北第四纪海相生物地层系统作者将华北约300万年以来的海相第四系与上上新统划分为十个海相化石组合带(以有孔虫为主,见附表.)这十个带均有直接或间接的年代学资料为佐证.各带多有可靠的区域对比资料确定其上、下接触关系,仅有Ⅰ、Ⅱ带的关系尚待进一步澄清.各带的代表性化石皆以它们在我国的首现资料为准.兹扼要分述如下:(一)Ⅰ组合带 代表化石为Ammonia tepida,Evolutononion weiheense,代表剖面  相似文献

国家海洋局“向阳红16”调查船于1983年5月至7月对中太平洋北部进行了锰结核调查,以期了解太平洋锰结核资源的分布情况及寻找富矿区,取得研究锰结核形成机制和富集规律的第一手资料,同时开展调查区沉积物物源、分布规律、沉积物类型、沉积速率以及沉积物与锰结核的关系的研究.本文系统分析了这次锰结核调查时所采集的表层和柱状样品,除少数几个外,所有样品均见到丰富的硅藻化石,为该区第四系地层的划分及其古气候、古地理研究提供了依据.  相似文献

我国东南近岸海域表层沉积硅藻组合   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
对采自我国东南近岸海域18个站位78个表层沉积样品进行了硅藻鉴定分析,根据硅藻优势种和次优势种的分布特征,划分出3个组合和两个亚组合,其较好地对应分布于南海、台湾海峡和东海等3个近岸海域。统计数据表明,近岸海域表层沉积硅藻的分布受大陆入海径流的影响微乎其微,随着水深的增加,我国东南近岸海域海洋初级生产力减小,底栖种、潮间带种减少而浮游种增加;组合Ⅰ的分布表明南海东北部海域明显受黑潮流等外洋水团的影响,可应用组合Ⅱ1和组合Ⅱ2中优势种和特征种硅藻来指示水深,两亚组合面貌的差异是对冬夏两季海峡两侧受不同性质海流控制的响应;组合Ⅲ受沿岸流控制比较明显,而遭受黑潮等外洋水团的影响很弱。  相似文献

The fossil diatom assemblage record from two sediment cores obtained from the Ulleung Basin, East Sea, Republic of Korea, revealed changes in the diatom assemblage zones in PG1 and PD3 core samples. The two sediment cores were δC14 dated and approximately represented the late Pleistocene–Holocene. The analysis of age zones in the PG1 core and PD3 core was assessed based on the frequency of variations, and occurrences of biostratigraphical fossil diatom species. During the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), the sea level was lower than that at present and the Ulleung Basin became isolated from the Pacific Ocean. As a result, there would have been a limited Tsushima Warm Current (TWC) influence, and salinity would have decreased resulting in increased freshwater and coastal diatoms. The distribution pattern of diatoms presented in the cores was associated with changes in water temperature and salinity and the adding of terrigenous material brought about by the input of freshwater. Changes in the abundance of a tychopelagic diatom, Paralia sulcata, reflected the effect of the water currents. Diatom temperature (Td) values and the ratio of centric/pennate diatoms provided evidence of limited influences of the TWC and freshwater inflow. It is thought that all assemblage zones were influenced by the TWC, which had an important effect on the distribution and composition of fossil diatoms.  相似文献

Abstract-With the onset of winter, polar marine microalgae would have faced total darkness for aperiod of up to 6 months. A natural autumn community of Arctic sea ice microalgae was collected fordark survival experiments from the Greenland Sea during the ARKTIS-XI/2 Expedition of RV Po-larstern in October 1995. After a dark period of 161 days, species dominance in the algal assemblagehave changed from initially pennate diatoms to small phytoflagellates (<20μm). Over the entire darkperiod, the mean algal growth rate was-0.01 d~(-1). Nearly all diatom species had negative growthrates, while phytoflagellate abundance increased. Resting spore formation during the dark period was ob-served in less than 4.5% of all cells and only for dinoflagellates and the diatom Chaetoceros spp. We as-sume that facultative heterotrophy and energy storage are the main processes enabling survival during thedark Arctic winter. The abundance and temporal patterns of viable diatom resting stage cells in sediments of the East China Sea in 2006 have been investigated. The abundance of viable resting stages was enumerated with the most probable number (MPN) technique. Overall, 25 diatom species (including varieties) belonging to 16 genera were detected. Viable resting stage cells were common, on the order of 103 to 106 cells/g dry mass. The abundant taxa included Skeletonema marina, S. dohrnii, Chaetoceros curvisetus and Thalassiosira spp., with Skeletonema accounting for 83.3% of the cell. The effects of temperature (10, 15, 20, 25℃), salinity (20, 25, 30, 35 psu) and light intensity (0, 300, 4 000, 8 000 lux) on the germination of resting stages in sediment samples were also determined. The results showed that light intensity had a significant positive effect on the germination of diatom resting stage cells (p <0.01) and that diatoms could not germinate in darkness. Temperature and salinity had no noticeable effects on the germination. The present study suggests that there are abundant diatom resting cells in sediments of the East China Sea, which could serve as a "seed bank" in the phytoplankton population succession and contribute to the initiation of algal blooms.  相似文献

An array of four sediment trap moorings recorded the particulate flux across the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC) at 170 °W, between November 1996 and January 1998, as part of the US JGOFS-Antarctic Environment and Southern Ocean Process Study (AESOPS) program. The trap locations represent sampling within the Polar Frontal Zone, the Antarctic Polar Front, the Antarctic Zone and the Southern Antarctic Zone. Here we report observations from 1000 m below the sea-surface compared to seafloor and surface water distributions. Sub-sample splits from each trap were obtained and total diatom flux and species composition were determined. The diatom fluxes were quantified using both a dilution and a ‘spike’ method to allow for the rapid repeatability of measurements. Diatom flux was found to be highly seasonal across the ACC particularly at higher latitudes. Marine snow aggregates of intact diatom cells and chains were the major components of the biogenic flux. Siliceous particle size was noted to decrease with increasing latitude, which could be aligned with a shift of the diatom assemblage to small-size species/sea-ice affiliated species. A ‘double-structured’ diatom flux was recorded at the location of the Antarctic Polar Front trap, with a shift in the diatom assemblage from larger to smaller diatoms in the second flux episode. The sediment trap assemblage shows deviations from the surface water assemblage, while surface sediment samples indicate that significant dissolution occurs after 1000 m and at the sediment–water interface. Estimation of diatom biovolumes across the ACC shows that large diatoms have the potential to greatly impact biogenic fluxes to the ocean interior despite their low fluxes. Small species of the genus Fragilariopsis could potentially export as much Corg as Fragilariopsis kerguelensis near the retreating ice edge. However, their low abundance in the surface sediments also suggests that these diatoms are a shallow export species.  相似文献

The species composition and dynamics of phytoplankton in the water column and its contribution to clam, Ruditapes philippinarum, and oyster, Crassostrea gigas, production were studied in the Akkeshi-ko estuary, eastern part of Hokkaido, Japan. A total 128 taxa of diatoms were identified, with 103 and 102 species occurring on the surface sediments and in the water column, respectively. Amphora sp., Bacillaria paradoxa var paxilifer, Cocconeis scutellum, Navicula sp., Nitzschia sigma, Paralia sulcata, Rhoicosphenia curvata, Synedra ulna and Thalassiosira sp. were most common and dominant in all stations in both water column and surface sediment. Benthic diatoms were most dominant in both water column and surface sediment. The species composition of epiphytes was, in part, similar to diatom assemblage of the water column and also to that of the surface sediment. The benthic and pelagic ratio in the diatom assemblage of the water column was very high. Benthic diatoms were able to resuspend into water column by turbulence stimulated by wind. Chlorophyll a concentration in the water column increased as wind speed increased. Seventy and 67% of the gut contents oysters consisted of benthic diatoms in 2003 and 2004 and also 78 and 87% of clams in 2003 and 2004, respectively. The availability of benthic and epiphytic diatom assemblages contributes significantly to food resources for clam and oyster mariculture due to resuspension by disturbance in the Akkeshi-ko estuary.  相似文献

In order to depict the distribution of diatom fossils in surface sediments and to establish a reliable reference data for further paleoenvironmental study in the Changjiang (Yangtze) River estuary and its adjacent waters, the diatom fossils from 34 surface sediment samples and their relationship with environmental variables were analyzed by principal component analysis and redundancy correspondence analysis. The diversity and abundance of diatom fossils were analyzed. Some annual average parameters of the overlying water (salinity, temperature, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, depth, dissolved inorganic nitrogen, dissolved inorganic phosphate and dissolved inorganic silicate) were measured at each sampling site. A total of 113 diatom taxa and one silicoflagellate species were identified in the investigation area. Diatom fossils were better preserved in fine sediments. The absolute abundance of diatom fossils did not significantly diff er between inshore and off shore areas, the species diversity decreased from inshore to off shore. This may be because high nutrients and low salinity promoted the growth of more brackish species in coastal waters. The diatom taxa were divided into three groups, on the basis of their response and indication to environmental changes. For example, Actinocyclus ehrenbergii and Cyclotella stylorum were dominant in coastal waters (Group 1 and Group 3) with high nutrients and low salinity;the relative abundances of Paralia sulcata and Podosira stelliger were significantly higher in off shore sites (Group 2, average 39.5%), which were characterized by high salinity and deep water. Four environmental variables (salinity, dissolved inorganic nitrogen, temperature and water depth) explained the composition and distribution of diatom taxa independently ( P< 0.05), this finding can be applied in further paleoenvironmental reconstruction research in this area.  相似文献
