A calendar time interpolation method for 2D seismic amplitude maps, done in two steps, is presented. The contour interpolation part is formulated as a quadratic programming problem, whereas the amplitude value interpolation is based on a conditional probability formulation. The method is applied on field data from the Sleipner CO2 storage project. The output is a continuous image (movie) of the CO2 plume. Besides visualization, the output can be used to better couple 4D seismic to other types of data acquired. The interpolation uncertainty increases with the time gap between consecutive seismic surveys and is estimated by leaving a survey out (blind test). Errors from such tests can be used to identify problems in understanding the flow and possibly improve the interpolation scheme for a given case. Field‐life cost of various acquisition systems and repeat frequencies are linked to the time‐lapse interpolation errors. The error in interpolated amplitudes increased by 3%‐4% per year of interpolation gap for the Sleipner case. Interpolation can never fully replace measurements.  相似文献

Interpolation of contaminant data can present a significant challenge due to sample clustering and sharp gradients in concentration. The research presented in this paper represents a study of commonly used interpolation schemes applied to three-dimensional plume characterization. Kriging, natural neighbor, and inverse distance weighted interpolation were tested on four actual data sets. The accuracy of each scheme was gauged using the cross-validation approach. Each scheme was compared to the other schemes and the effect of various interpolation parameters was studied. The kriging approach resulted in the lowest error at three of the four sites. The simpler and quicker inverse distance weighted approach resulted in a lower interpolation error on the other site and performed well overall. The natural neighbor method had the highest average error at all four sites in spite of the fact that it has been shown to perform well with clustered data. Another unexpected result was that the computationally expensive high order nodal functions resulted in reduced accuracy for the inverse distance weighted and natural neighbor approaches.  相似文献

Digital elevation models (DEMs) of river channel bathymetries are developed by interpolating elevations between data collected at discrete points or along transects. The accuracy of interpolated bathymetries depends on measurement error, the density and distribution of point data, and the interpolation method. Whereas point measurement errors can be minimized by selecting the most efficient equipment, the effect of data density and interpolation method on river bathymetry is relatively unknown. Thus, this study focuses on transect‐based collection methods and investigates the effects of transect location, the spacing between transects, and interpolation methods on the accuracy of interpolated bathymetry. This is accomplished by comparing four control bathymetries generated from accurate and high resolution, sub‐meter scale data to bathymetries interpolated from transect data extracted from the control bathymetries using two transect locating methods and four interpolation methods. The transect locating methods are a morphologically‐spaced and an equally‐spaced model. The four interpolation methods are Ordinary Kriging, Delaunay Triangulation, and Simple Linear, which are applied in curvilinear coordinates (Delaunay Triangulation is also applied in Cartesian coordinates), and Natural Neighbor only in Cartesian Coordinates. The bathymetric data were obtained from morphologically simple and complex reaches of a large (average bankfull width = 90 m) and a small (average bankfull width = 17 m) river. The accuracy of the developed DEMs is assessed using statistical analysis of the differences between the control and interpolated bathymetries and hydraulic parameters assessed from bankfull water surface elevations. Results indicate that DEM accuracy is not influenced by the choice of transect location method (with same averaged cross‐section spacing) or a specific interpolation method, but rather by the coordinate system for which the interpolation method is applied and the spacing between transects. They also show negligible differences between the mean depths and surface areas calculated from bathymetries with dense or coarse spacing. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

对分形插值方法作了较详细的探讨,给出了分形插值函数的显式表达方式,同时给出了垂直比例因子的局部显式表达式,旨在提高地震道插值重建的精度及突出局部信息,并从单道地震图的角度分析其在地震道插值重建中的应用效果.利用该方法对理论模型和济阳坳陷实际地震台站资料进行了重建处理,结果表明,分形插值重建的地震道是原始地震道的良好近似,缺失道的振幅和相位都得到了很好的恢复.该法克服了随机分形插值方法必须进行多步迭代的弱点,提高了计算效率.通过对单道地震图插值重建结果的分析,说明了本文分形插值方法具有较高的精度和较高的效率,有深入研究的潜力.本文提出的显式分形插值方法既能够突出地震道数据的局部信息,又较好地保持了地震道数据的总体变化趋势.  相似文献

In this paper, a new approach to structural damage localization is presented using as damage feature the interpolation error related to the use of a spline function in modeling the operational deformed shapes of the structure. Statistically significant variations of the interpolation error between the undamaged and the inspection phase indicate the onset of damage. A threshold value of the damage feature is defined in terms of the tolerable probability of false alarm to select variations of the interpolation error because of damage from those due to random sources. The method is successfully applied to a calibrated model of the factor building a real densely instrumented building at the University of California, Los Angeles. Results show that the method is effective for damage localization for both single and multiple locations of damage also in case of responses corrupted by noise. 基于稀疏反演的地震插值方法是一种重要的插值方法,然而大多数这类方法只针对无噪声数据或者高信噪比数据插值.实际上,地震数据含有各种噪声,使得插值问题变得更加困难.凸集投影方法是一种高效的插值算法,但是对于含噪声数据的插值效果不理想,针对含噪声数据提出的加权凸集投影方法能够实现同时插值和去噪,但是除了最小阈值需要认真选取外,增加一个权重因子来实现去噪功能.本文由迭代阈值算法推导出加权凸集投影方法,证明其是解无约束优化问题的一种方法,加权因子可以看作拟合误差项的系数.本文还提出了一种改进的凸集投影方法,与原始凸集投影方法相比该方法不需要增加任何计算量,只要通过阈值的选择来进行插值和去噪.数值模拟证明了该算法的计算效率,并且对含噪声数据能够实现较好的插值效果;先插值后去噪的结果证明了同时去噪和插值算法的可靠性和稳定性.  相似文献

During recent gravity surveys in Patagonia, we were unable to acquire data on the North Patagonian Icecap, which is completely inaccessible for land surveying. The Icecap is clearly of tectonic significance, but, because of its tectonic history, it is uplifted and rugged, and consequently inaccessible. Therefore the distribution of geophysical observations which can be acquired in a rugged field area is dependent on the tectonic history. This suggests that a tectonic history which is reconstructed from geophysical data may be systematically biased. We use models of local and flexural isostasy to estimate the gravity errors associated with interpolation across inaccessible topography. The gravity error is largest for Pratt isostasy, where the mass deficit which supports the topography is at relatively shallow depths. The gravity error is least for flexural isostasy, because in this case the inaccessible topography is supported regionally by a mass deficit which extends beyond the inaccessible region. An analytical flexural interpolation scheme is proposed for interpolation across data gaps associated with inaccessible topography. Flexural theory and Gauss’s theorem are used to predict the gravity anomaly due to the mass excess of the inaccessible topography. We apply this scheme to the North Patagonian Icecap, to demonstrate that flexural interpolation predicts a relative gravity low at the site of the Icecap, which would not be predicted by purely geometrical interpolation schemes.  相似文献

在地震数据处理中,地震数据插值方法常常用来解决地震数据空间采样率低和不规则的问题.本文提出了一种基于边缘保持滤波器的地震数据插值方法.在该方法中,对于一个1D信号,逐点滑动一个处理窗口,将信号分成多个信号片段.对于某一个待恢复的缺失采样点,存在多个包含(或邻近)该采样点的信号片段可以用来估计它.采用多项式来拟合这些信号片段,并选择拟合误差最小的信号片段估计此缺失采样点,达到边缘保持的目的.对于2D地震信号,先沿不同方向扫描抽取1D信号,然后采用上述1D边缘保持插值算法分别进行处理,得到沿不同方向的插值结果.对于任一待插值采样点,选取对应拟合误差最小的方向的插值结果作为最后输出的2D数据的插值结果.理论模型和实际资料的处理结果表明,所提方法具有保边缘、抗假频及能够进行不规则数据重建等特点,既能有效的实现不规则地震数据的重建,又能很好的保持原有数据的边缘特征.  相似文献

本文介绍一种用微处理机-高速采样系统准确测量波速的方法。波速测量的精度取决于走时的确定。但目前大都采用SYC-Ⅱ型波速仪,并靠眼睛判读其示波器上光标的位置来得到走时,由此产生的走时读数误差往往超过0.2微秒。应用本文介绍的系统,这一误差可以大大减少。在测量过程中,走时被一瞬态记录仪用20兆赫兹的最高采样速率(对应的最大读数误差为0.05微秒)记录下来,然后经过一数字接口将数据输入微处理机,由其自动判读波的初动,并立即给出波的走时和速度。 分析表明,对实验室通常采用的样品尺度,该系统的波速测量误差在0.7%以内,波速测量的精度因而得到很大程度的提高。   相似文献

Two different methods for the construction of an approximation to bicubic splines for interpolating irregularly spaced two-dimensional data are described. These are referred to as the least squares line (LSL) and linear segment (LINSEG) construction procedures. A quantitative test is devised for investigating the absolute accuracy and efficiency of the two spline interpolation procedures. The test involves (i) laying of artificial flight lines on the analytically known field of a model, (ii) interpolation of field values along the flight lines and their subtraction from the original field values to compute the residuals. This test is applied on fields due to four models (three prism models and one dyke model) placed at different depths below the flight lines, and for each case the error estimates (the mean error, the maximum error and the standard deviation) are tabulated. An analysis of the error estimates shows in all cases the LSL interpolation to be more accurate than the LINSEG, although the latter is about 50% faster in computer time. The relative accuracy and efficiency of the LSL interpolation is also tested against a recent method based on harmonization procedure, which shows the latter to be more precise, though much slower in speed.  相似文献

We propose a fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling(FTEEM) in order to apply it into the fields of ecology and environmental science more easily after the fundamental theorem for Earth's surface system modeling(FTESM). The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is taken as a case area to conduct empirical studies of algorithms for spatial upscaling, spatial downscaling, spatial interpolation, data fusion and model-data assimilation, which are based on high accuracy surface modelling(HASM), corresponding with corollaries of FTEEM. The case studies demonstrate how eco-environmental surface modelling is substantially improved when both extrinsic and intrinsic information are used along with an appropriate method of HASM. Compared with classic algorithms, the HASM-based algorithm for spatial upscaling reduced the root-meansquare error of the BTH elevation surface by 9 m. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial downscaling reduced the relative error of future scenarios of annual mean temperature by 16%. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial interpolation reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean precipitation by 0.2%. The HASM-based algorithm for data fusion reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean temperature by 70%. The HASM-based algorithm for model-data assimilation reduced the relative error of carbon stocks by 40%. We propose five theoretical challenges and three application problems of HASM that need to be addressed to improve FTEEM.  相似文献

In Europe, since 1990, a survey on environmental monitoring has been taking place every 5 years, using moss samples to study the distribution of heavy metal concentration and assess contamination sources, resulting on the identification of statistical association of several heavy metal concentrations in mosses. With this work, we propose an extension of an existing spatio-temporal model, introduced in Høst et al. (JASA 90(431):853–861, 1995), allowing for prediction at unsampled locations of pollution data in the presence of covariates related to each country specificities, when separately modelling the spatial mean field, the spatial variance field and the space–time residual field. Moreover, this model allows to estimate an interpolation error, as an accuracy measure, derived dependently on the case study. For a validation purpose, a simulation study is conducted, showing that the use of the proposed model leads to more accurate prediction values. Results obtained by the proposed methodology for the most recent available survey, are compared with results obtained with no temporal information, namely when Ordinary Kriging, according to the definition in Cressie (Statistics for spatial data, Wiley, New York, 1993), is used to derive illustrative prediction maps based only on the most recent data. An exercise of cross-validation is performed relative to each of the scenarios considered and the average interpolation errors are presented. While assessing interpolation errors, we conclude that the monitoring specificities of each country and the information of preceding surveys allow for more accurate prediction results.  相似文献

磁偶极子的航空频率域电磁法仪器在飞行测量的过程中由于仪器偏置的存在,且仪器偏置会随着外部气压、温度等环境因素以及收发线圈晃动的影响而呈现非线性变化,使得观测数据出现误差,因此需要对仪器偏置进行校正.而传统的在测线飞行前后将仪器抬至高空的"零场值"标定方法具有成本高、受测区环境影响大以及采用线性插值获取测线飞行过程中仪器偏置的精度低等缺点.本文根据仪器偏置与仪器姿态角变化无关的特性,通过测得仪器的姿态角信息,在满足重叠偶极子模型的条件下,实现对仪器偏置的高精度实时校正.模型仿真结果表明,在30m常规飞行高度下,该方法实时测得的仪器偏置精度接近于110m高空测得的精度;校正后仪器偏置的绝对误差与理论二次场的比值即相对误差小于5%,满足反演大地电导率的精度要求.该方法不仅减少了飞行的工作量,降低了飞行成本和飞行难度,而且可更加精确地获得测线飞行过程中仪器偏置的非线性变化值,提高航测数据的观测精度.  相似文献

应用多分量地震资料进行成像时通常需要先做波场分离,然后再对分离的波型进行成像。其中,波场分离可以在空间域或波数域实现。然而,由于用交错网格有限差分进行弹性波场数值模拟时,用来进行波数域波场分离的质点振动速度分量定义在不同网格节点上,本文提出了利用波数域插值方法来估算同一网格节点所需质点振动速度值;进而给出了先进行波数域插值后进行波场分离的波数域保幅波场分离方案。数值实验结果表明波数域插值方法具有较高的插值精度且保幅波场分离方法具有较好的保幅性,将本文方法进一步应用于弹性波逆时偏移可以获得保幅性较好的成像结果且对存在一定程度速度误差情况具有较好的适应性。  相似文献

This paper presents a model for synthesising daily average streamflow data that is suitable for most rivers in Great Britain. The method is based on a linear interpolation of the logorithms of 5-day average flows. The 5-day average flows are produced using N.T. Kottegoda's statistical model (Thesis, Univ. of Birmingham, 1970). The 5-day model preserves the long-term statistical characteristics of the daily data, while the short-term characteristics such as hydrograph shape are imposed by the interpolation method.

A stochastic error term is superimposed on the interpolated daily flows. This term represents the non-deterministic component of the daily time series. The analysis of the observed error terms represents an important part of this paper.

The riverflow in the Severn at Bewdley is used to demonstrate both the analysis of actual data and the generation of synthetic data. The technique is then applied to data from two other rivers with widely differing characteristics to demonstrate the range of the method.  相似文献

针对三维地震数据插值,提出采用Laplacian算子进行光滑约束的插值方法,并借鉴Mallet研究的离散光滑插值思路,采用预条件共轭梯度法,直接生成网格节点上的值,从而回避寻求满足插值方程的函数. 为了实现其中Laplacian算子的快速求逆,文中引入Claerbout螺旋坐标系谱因式分解理论. 在螺旋坐标系下,Laplacian算子的表示矩阵具有Toeplitz结构,其快速求逆可由谱法LU分解实现. 基于二维离散光滑插值,文中还给出共轭梯度法与NMO相结合的沿时间切片逐层处理的离散光滑插值流程. 最后,应用该方法对模型数据和实际三维地震数据进行了处理.  相似文献

在前人工作的基础上对分形插值方法作了详细的探讨,给出了分形插值函数的显式表达方式.在量纲分析的基础上给出了垂直比例因子的局部显式表达式,旨在提高地震道插值重建的精度及突出局部信息,并从单道地震图的角度分析其在地震道插值重建中的应用效果.研究了垂直比例因子的变化对分形插值精度的影响.数值实验表明,随着垂直比例因子的增大,分形垂直的误差逐渐增大,二者之间呈显出指数增长的趋势.该法克服了随机分形插值方法必须进行多步迭代的弱点,提高了计算效率.通过对理论地震道插值重建的分析,说明了本文分形插值方法的高精度和高效率.本文提出的显式分形插值方法既能够突出地震道数据的局部信息,又较好地保持了地震道数据的总体变化趋势.  相似文献

This study is focused on the integration of bare earth lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) data into unstructured (triangular) finite element meshes and the implications on simulating storm surge inundation using a shallow water equations model. A methodology is developed to compute root mean square error (RMSE) and the 95th percentile of vertical elevation errors using four different interpolation methods (linear, inverse distance weighted, natural neighbor, and cell averaging) to resample bare earth lidar and lidar-derived digital elevation models (DEMs) onto unstructured meshes at different resolutions. The results are consolidated into a table of optimal interpolation methods that minimize the vertical elevation error of an unstructured mesh for a given mesh node density. The cell area averaging method performed most accurate when DEM grid cells within 0.25 times the ratio of local element size and DEM cell size were averaged. The methodology is applied to simulate inundation extent and maximum water levels in southern Mississippi due to Hurricane Katrina, which illustrates that local changes in topography such as adjusting element size and interpolation method drastically alter simulated storm surge locally and non-locally. The methods and results presented have utility and implications to any modeling application that uses bare earth lidar.  相似文献

选取最小曲率、克里格、改进Shepard、反距离加权和径向基函数等5种网格化数学模型,对小江断裂地磁总强度加密区岩石圈磁场数据进行数据网格化,采用均方根预测误差和插值数据残差均方根等评价指标对网格化结果进行评价,结果表明,克里格插值与反距离加权插值法的精度最高。进一步比较克里格插值与反距离加权插值法的网格化图形质量,结果显示克里格插值网格化过程中兼顾了数据的平滑性和各实测点与待估点之间的空间位置关系,避免了系统误差,得出克里格插值更适用于岩石圈磁场数据网格化的结论。  相似文献
