俯冲带深部应力场的二维粘弹性有限元数值模拟   总被引:4,自引:1,他引:4  
基于粘弹性平面应变有限元数值模拟方法,研究了俯冲带深部的应力场特征.当根据Karato等的研究结果给出俯冲板块的粘度结构时,橄榄石——尖晶石相变界面以下中心低粘区两侧出现应力集中区,而且其主压应力方向沿俯冲方向走向.其特征与已有的深源地震主压应力方向沿俯冲方向及深源地震有两个条带的地震观测结果相吻合.相变过渡区因矿物更小的颗粒粒度而导致的更小的等效粘度对俯冲带深部应力场的影响不大;存在和不存在亚稳态橄榄石楔的情况下,橄榄石——尖晶石相变过渡区附近都有最大剪应力的最大值出现,而其主压应力方向有垂直于橄榄石——尖晶石相变过渡区走向的趋势,尚与地震观测资料不符.   相似文献

根据福建省明溪幔源包体(二辉橄榄岩)中橄榄石晶格优选方位(LPO)及其晶体弹性刚度系数,计算了地震波速度及其各向异性.研究结果表明,该区地震波各向异性是由橄榄石塑性流动产生晶格优选方位而引起的.与构造背景有关的VP,Vs1,Vs2和△Vs分布特征表明,中国东南沿海地区上地幔物质流动方向(由NWW向SEE)与橄榄石[100]定向排列方向(a轴)和VP最大方向有一致的趋势.  相似文献

橄榄石是上地幔含量最丰富的矿物,对其弹性性质的研究对解释地球内部的物质组成和动力学过程至关重要.近年来,对橄榄石矿物弹性的研究,无论是实验测试还是模拟计算都取得了很大的进展.本文首先介绍了研究橄榄石弹性的主要方法,然后从铁、镁不同配分比例下橄榄石的弹性性质,水对橄榄石弹性的影响以及橄榄石各向异性等三个方面,对近年来橄榄石弹性研究所取得的主要进展做了介绍.实验方法方面主要介绍了1)超声共振谱法(Resonant Ultrasound Spectroscopy,RUS);2)X射线衍射法;3)X射线照相法;4)超声干涉法;5)布里渊散射法.  相似文献

由于岩石圈俯冲板块内部温度低, 在400km左右的深度橄榄石不发生相变, 低压相的橄榄石便以亚稳态的形式进入更深的深度。 高温高压实验研究表明, 亚稳态橄榄石相变机制以相变形成的超塑性透镜状尖晶石反裂纹破裂为深源地震的触发机制, 能很好的解释深源地震的特征。 亚稳态橄榄石在俯冲带中存在的范围,是制约亚稳态相变机制的重要因素。 然而亚稳态橄榄石在俯冲带存在的范围尚存争议, 不同模型给出结果相差较大, 文中给出一些解决这个问题的建议。  相似文献

同系温度为晶体材料的绝对温度(T)与其熔点(T_m)的比值,是对比晶体流变强度的重要参数之一.橄榄石(Mg,Fe)_2Si O_4的熔点随含铁量和含水量的增加而降低,随压力增加而升高,高压下橄榄石的相变可导致熔点随压力发生不连续变化.本文对前人的铁橄榄石(Fe2Si O_4)熔融实验结果进行校正,确定铁橄榄石-γ相Fe2Si O_4-熔体的三联点位于6.4GPa和1793K.然后使用广义混合律建立了常压至6.4GPa,无水橄榄石的固相线和液相线与含铁量和压力的关系.橄榄石T/T_m随深度的变化可用于定性对比具有不同热状态和橄榄石成分的上地幔流变强度,T/T_m=0.5的深度界定了上地幔从半脆性变形到完全塑性变形的转换深度.克拉通岩石圈地幔的橄榄石T/T_m显著低于造山带和伸展盆地,一直到岩石圈-软流圈边界才与周围地幔趋于一致(T/T_m0.66),表明克拉通的岩石圈强度较高.此外,使用T/T_m分析橄榄石的变形实验结果,发现含水量对橄榄石组构的影响与压力密切相关,但是水对橄榄石流变强度的弱化作用及其与橄榄石同系温度的关系尚需进一步研究.低于6.4GPa(200km),T/T_m控制了橄榄石[100]和[001]位错滑移的转变.在上地幔10~-(12)~10~-(15)s~(-1)的应变速率和低应力条件下,橄榄石[100](010)位错滑移系(A型组构)的稳定域为T/T_m0.55~0.60.T/T_m0.55~0.60时,[001]位错滑移更易于发生,低T/T_m使橄榄石的主控位错滑移系转变为[001](100),形成C型组构.这与天然变形的橄榄岩普遍发育橄榄石A型组构,而超高压变质带中经历了深俯冲的橄榄岩发育橄榄石C型组构一致.而[001](010)位错滑移系(B型组构)受T/T_m和应力的共同影响.因此,橄榄石的同系温度建立了将变形实验结果外延到上地幔流变的桥梁.克拉通地区的上地幔地震波各向异性需要一个四层模型来拟合:上层为残留的A型组构,中间为B型组构,岩石圈-软流圈边界为新生的A型或B型组构,以及Lehmann不连续面之下以扩散蠕变为主的软流圈地幔.对橄榄石组构转变机制的认识是通过地震波各向异性追踪上地幔含水量的分布和地幔流动的关键.  相似文献

橄榄石是上地幔的主要造岩矿物,研究橄榄石在高温高压下的物理化学性质是了解地幔对流、板块运动等地球动力学过程的基础.一些研究橄榄石物理化学性质的实验需要用到橄榄石单晶,例如在实验室中进行的变形实验,无论是双轴压缩、三轴压缩、简单剪切,还是扭转变形实验等等.近年来,水对橄榄石蠕变性质的影响被广泛关注,橄榄石的含水测量也需要用到大尺寸的橄榄石单晶.除了实验室需要大晶体,合成晶体也是新材料领域的研究热点和发展前沿,目前国内外人工合成单晶的方法包括从固相、液相、气相以及从熔体中合成晶体.在人工合成橄榄石单晶方面,目前主要使用的方法包括提拉法、浮区法和烧结法.本文综述了从固相、液相、气相以及从熔体中合成晶体的方法,详细介绍了人工合成橄榄石单晶所采用的提拉法、浮区法和烧结法等三种方法的原理与合成过程,讨论了不同方法的优缺点,其中烧结法合成单晶需要的时间短,但是对温度以及实验的氧化还原环境要求较高;浮区法生长大的单晶耗时短、可以得到大尺寸的单晶,但对工艺技术要求高;提拉法可以通过籽晶的取向来制备不同晶体取向的单晶,过程容易控制,但是由于使用坩埚而容易污染,不适用于对于固态下有相变的晶体.通过以上研究,本文提出了以后生长大尺寸橄榄石单晶的可能途径,希望对橄榄石单晶的制备方面工作提供参考.  相似文献

The paper shows that the rigid–plastic oscillator can be used to evaluate the maximum plastic displacement of any elastic–plastic oscillator under any earthquake. Motivated by this result a rigid–plastic response spectrum is introduced, which provides an easy method to calculate the maximum plastic displacement of a rigid–plastic oscillator for any given earthquake. Such a spectrum is easier to construct than the elastic–plastic response spectrum or the classical elastic one. By means of appropriate formulas presented in the paper, the rigid–plastic response spectrum can be used to determine a realistic upper bound to the maximum plastic displacement of any elastic–plastic oscillator under the given earthquake. We report the current (1997-1999, 2001) incidence and amount of ingested plastic in short-tailed shearwaters (Puffinus tenuirostris) in the southeastern Bering Sea and compare our results with plastic reported in shearwaters during 1970-1978. We also examine correlations between plastic loads and shearwater body mass. We found that 84% (N = 330) of shearwaters sampled in 1997-1999 and 2001 contained plastic. The incidence and amount of ingested plastic have not significantly changed since the 1970s. In contrast, the predominant type of plastic has changed over time, from industrial plastic to user plastic. S,asonal patterns in the incidence and amount of ingested plastic also changed from peak levels during early and late summer in the 1970s to mid summer in the late 1990s and 2001. We suggest that the availability of neuston plastic to seabirds in the Bering Sea has undergone a shift in composition since the 1970s. Shearwater body mass appears little if at all impaired by plastic, at least at present levels of consumption.  相似文献

An important aspect of the global problem of plastic debris pollution is plastic buoyancy. There is some evidence that buoyancy is influenced by attached biofilms but as yet this is poorly understood. We submerged polyethylene plastic in seawater and sampled weekly for 3 weeks in order to study early stage processes. Microbial biofilms developed rapidly on the plastic and coincided with significant changes in the physicochemical properties of the plastic. Submerged plastic became less hydrophobic and more neutrally buoyant during the experiment. Bacteria readily colonised the plastic but there was no indication that plastic-degrading microorganisms were present. This study contributes to improved understanding of the fate of plastic debris in the marine environment.  相似文献

A comparison of plastic and plankton in the north Pacific central gyre   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
The potential for ingestion of plastic particles by open ocean filter feeders was assessed by measuring the relative abundance and mass of neustonic plastic and zooplankton in surface waters under the central atmospheric high-pressure cells of the North Pacific Ocean. Neuston samples were collected at 11 random sites, using a manta trawl lined with 333 u mesh. The abundance and mass of neustonic plastic was the largest recorded anywhere in the Pacific Ocean at 334 271 pieces km2 and 5114 g km2, respectively. Plankton abundance was approximately five times higher than that of plastic, but the mass of plastic was approximately six times that of plankton. The most frequently sampled types of identifiable plastic were thin films, polypropylene/monofilament line and unidentified plastic, most of which were miscellaneous fragments. Cumulatively, these three types accounted for 98% of the total number of plastic pieces.  相似文献

Marine plastic pollution is ubiquitous throughout the world’s oceans, and has been found in high concentrations in oceanic gyres of both the northern and southern hemispheres. The number of studies demonstrating plastic debris at seabird colonies and plastic ingestion by adult seabirds has increased over the past few decades. Despite the recent discovery of a large aggregation of plastic debris in the South Pacific subtropical gyre, the incidence of plastics at seabird colonies in New Zealand is unknown. Between 2011 and 2012 we surveyed six offshore islands on the northeast coast of New Zealand’s North Island for burrow-nesting seabird colonies and the presence of plastic fragments. We found non-research related plastic fragments (0.031 pieces/m2) on one island only, Ohinau, within dense flesh-footed shearwater (Puffinus carneipes) colonies. On Ohinau, we found a linear relationship between burrow density and plastic density, with 3.5 times more breeding burrows in areas with plastic fragments found. From these data we conclude that plastic ingestion is a potentially a serious issue for flesh-footed shearwaters in New Zealand. Although these results do not rule out plastic ingestion by other species, they suggest the need for further research on the relationship between New Zealand’s pelagic seabirds and marine plastic pollution.  相似文献

岩石圈下层的网状塑性流动 ,作为包含塑性流动网络的黏塑性流动 ,控制着大陆板块内部的构造变形和动力学过程。塑性流动网络由两组网带共轭相交而成 ,而塑性流动网带是黏塑性流动过程中因剪切局部化、黏性摩擦生热和网带介质的弱化而形成的延性弱面 (弱带 )。研究表明 ,类似于断裂和节理等脆性弱面 ,延性弱面对介质强度的影响也具有条件性 ,即当应力方向改变时 ,只有在滑移角θ不超出一定限值的条件 (θ1≤θ≤θ2 )下才可能沿原有弱面滑移 ,显示其弱化效应 ;延性弱面可以用弱化度R表示其屈服限的相对降低程度 ,弱化度与滑移角下限值之间的关系为R =sin2θ1;根据亚洲中东部地区“塑性流动 -地震”网络的最大共轭角推算 ,网带的弱化度R近似于 0 81。基于延性弱面效应的认识 ,文中就网带由剪切滑移向压性褶皱的转化、网带的继承与弃置以及应力方向的允许偏角等问题进行了探讨  相似文献

Marine plastic debris is a global issue, which highlights the need for internationally standardized methods of monitoring plastic pollution. The stomach contents of beached northern fulmar (Fulmarus glacialis) have proven a cost-effective biomonitor in Europe. However, recent information on northern fulmar plastic ingestion is lacking in the North Pacific. We quantified the stomach contents of 67 fulmars from beaches in the eastern North Pacific in 2009-2010 and found that 92.5% of fulmars had ingested an average of 36.8 pieces, or 0.385g of plastic. Plastic ingestion in these fulmars is among the highest recorded globally. Compared to earlier studies in the North Pacific, our findings indicate an increase in plastic ingestion over the past 40years. This study substantiates the use of northern fulmar as biomonitors of plastic pollution in the North Pacific and suggests that the high levels of plastic pollution in this region warrant further monitoring.  相似文献

We have developed a technique for detecting the pixels of colored macro plastic debris (plastic pixels) using photographs taken by a webcam installed on Sodenohama beach, Tobishima Island, Japan. The technique involves generating color references using a uniform color space (CIELUV) to detect plastic pixels and removing misdetected pixels by applying a composite image method. This technique demonstrated superior performance in terms of detecting plastic pixels of various colors compared to the previous method which used the lightness values in the CIELUV color space. We also obtained a 10-month time series of the quantity of plastic debris by combining a projective transformation with this technique. By sequential monitoring of plastic debris quantity using webcams, it is possible to clean up beaches systematically, to clarify the transportation processes of plastic debris in oceans and coastal seas and to estimate accumulation rates on beaches.  相似文献

This paper demonstrates the applicability of response history analysis based on rigid‐plastic models for the seismic assessment and design of steel buildings. The rigid‐plastic force–deformation relationship as applied in steel moment‐resisting frames (MRF) is re‐examined and new rigid‐plastic models are developed for concentrically‐braced frames and dual structural systems consisting of MRF coupled with braced systems. This paper demonstrates that such rigid‐plastic models are able to predict global seismic demands with reasonable accuracy. It is also shown that, the direct relationship that exists between peak displacement and the plastic capacity of rigid‐plastic oscillators can be used to define the level of seismic demand for a given performance target.
