松辽盆地白垩纪青山口组下部广泛分布一套富含有机碳的黑色泥岩、页岩和油页岩沉积,是全盆地划分泉头组与青山口组的一级标志.朝73-87井青山口组黑色页岩、油页岩的地球化学特征研究表明:它具有干酪根碳同位素正偏和重排甾烷含量低,存在28,30一双降藿烷、伽马蜡烷生物标志化合物等有机地球化学特征,表征为白垩纪温室效应时间窗内古湖泊缺氧事件的产物.结合生物地层研究成果,认为青山口期缺氧事件层大体可与白垩纪古海洋Cenomanian-Turonian界线事件层进行对比,进而提出松辽盆地青山口组的时代归属晚白垩世晚cenomanian-Turonian期的新观点.  相似文献

贵州寒武系底部碳同位素负异常的地层学和生物学意义   总被引:15,自引:3,他引:12  
贵州境内早寒武世早期几乎都是黑色页岩沉积。最近在贵州福泉英坪寒武系底部却发现了一套泥岩夹薄层灰岩,它为研究早寒武世早期海洋地球化学特征提供了条件。贵州福泉英坪前寒武系—寒武系界线附近的碳同位素强烈的负异常特征可与全球同期碳同位素进行对比,它对应于中国云南会泽小歪头山段底部、蒙古Tsagaan Oloom组顶部、西伯利亚Salarrny Gol组顶部、美国西南、伊朗、安曼、波兰、纽芬兰、英国、加拿大等地新元古代—寒武纪界线附近的强烈碳同位素负异常,它可作为划分前寒武系—寒武系界线重要依据。该剖面上碳同位素强烈负异常之下有8m厚的黑色页岩和硅质岩,在黑色页岩中发现有大量高肌虫和虫管化石,说明缺氧的黑色页岩沉积期间海洋中有大量的生物生活,但到了灰绿色泥岩和灰岩互层的碳同位素强烈负异常层段,则几乎没有生物化石。可以说缺氧事件对前寒武系—寒武系界线附近生物绝灭事件似乎没有很大的影响,而碳同位素强烈的负异常事件与前寒武系—寒武系界线附近生物大绝灭关系更为密切。  相似文献

白垩纪是地质历史中的最大海侵时期。海平面的升降改变了海洋的物理、化学及生物因素,从而影响了有孔虫的演化与发展。根据对有孔虫丰度、分异度及演化类型的研究,认为西藏白垩纪最大海侵时期形成于赛诺曼期与土仑期的界线附近。此后海平面总的处于下降趋势,只是在康尼亚克期至三冬期海平面又有回升。马斯特里赫特末期有孔虫的大量灭绝反映了白垩纪与第三纪界线事件的影响。  相似文献

西藏南部定日地区在白垩纪中期为一套浅灰色-深灰色的陆源碎屑岩(钙质页岩)及碳酸盐岩(泥灰岩及微晶灰岩)的混积型沉积物,其中的地球化学特征变化反映了古海洋发生的重大变革。δ13 C的同位素曲线变化具有明显的低-高-低旋回变化,δ13 C正偏与有机碳大量埋藏、海平面上升及缺氧事件密切相关。铀、钍、钾的含量变化及Th/U比值的变化特征表明由海平面上升所形成的全球大洋缺氧的重要时期,由于有机物质及粘土矿物的增多,它们的含量均比标准平均值偏高。而87Sr/ 86Sr比值在该时期偏低,这也与当时的构造背景及海平面发生重大变化相一致。  相似文献

白垩纪黑色页岩相地层出现在世界主要大洋及地表露头中,一般表现在三人时期:巴雷姆晚期—阿普特期—阿尔布期;赛诺曼晚期—二仑早期及康尼亚克期—三冬期。这些时期海相地层的岩性、动物群及地球化学特征均有变化,并以赛诺曼晚期—二仑早期变化最为明显,表明当时世界海洋处于氧极度损耗的条件。这种条件被称为大洋缺氧事件(OAE)。赛诺曼期—三仑期大洋缺氧事件的发生与当时的海侵高峰期是一致的。海平面的上升可使上升流加强,使表层生物生产率增高,进而导致海洋水体溶解氧的消耗及有机碳的保存。  相似文献

白垩纪中期(125~90 Ma)是地质历史中一个极端温室时期,集中出现一系列异常事件。异常事件是地球系统内各圈层相互耦合的产物,事件相互之间不是孤立的,单个事件引起的全球变化对其他事件起着明显的正/负反馈机制作用。文中基于对白垩纪中期异常事件的深入解剖和分析,包括大规模海底火山事件、大洋缺氧事件、生物异常更替与绝灭、白垩纪超静磁带、大洋红层出现等,在探讨白垩纪中期各个事件特征基础上,重点阐述异常事件所引起的全球变化及其对海洋、气候的影响;提出异常事件之间的相互关联与反馈机制。研究发现,大规模海底火山作用是引起白垩纪中期异常海洋和气候的最根本原因,直接促进大洋缺氧事件、生物绝灭与更替、沉积记录的转变等事件的发生。  相似文献

过去大量关于白垩纪中期Cenomanian-Turonian晴期的古海洋及其界线时期缺氧事件研究的高分辨率碳氧同位素的实际材料绝大多数都来自深海钻探(DSDlP)、大洋钻探(0DP)和欧美的一些较深水盆地.通过对西藏南部地区(位处特提斯洋东南)同一层位高分辨率碳同位素分析,目的在于为Cenomanian-Turonian古海洋及全球事件的碳同位素响应提供西藏地区的对比材料,并试图就浅海相的变化情况进行探讨.西藏定日和岗巴地区的高分辨率碳同位素分析结果显示.δ^13C值在Cenomanian中晚期稳定,Cenomanian-Turonian界线时期快速高幅正偏,Turonian期持续负偏,这种长期变化趋势在特提斯甚至全球可以对比.深入研究还发现,Turonian中后期存在2个较大幅度的负偏凹陷区,与来自欧洲的相关资料在偏移时间和幅度方面惊人相似.对比分析表明,岗巴地区δ^13C值长期变化和短期波动幅度及步调与定日及全球其他地区存在一定差别,幅度差异可能与样品制备和成岩改造有关,步调不一致则可能受生物地层定位的影响.研究区近海一半远洋环境Cenomanian-Turonian界线时期未出现典型富有机质黑色页岩,说明δ^13C值极度正偏与黑色页岩的出现并非一对应.  相似文献

Pant-y-ffynnon Quarry in South Wales yielded a rich cache of fossils in the early 1950s, including articulated specimens of new species (the small sauropodomorph dinosaur Pantydraco caducus and the crocodylomorph Terrestrisuchus gracilis), but no substantial study of the wider fauna of the Pant-y-ffynnon fissure systems has been published. Here, our overview of existing specimens, a few described but mostly undescribed, as well as freshly processed material, provides a comprehensive picture of the Pant-y-ffynnon palaeo-island of the Late Triassic. This was an island with a relatively impoverished fauna dominated by small clevosaurs (rhynchocephalians), including a new species, Clevosaurus cambrica, described here from a partially articulated specimen and isolated bones. The new species has a dental morphology that is intermediate between the Late Triassic Clevosaurus hudsoni, from Cromhall Quarry to the east, and the younger C. convallis from Pant Quarry to the west, suggesting adaptive radiation of clevosaurs in the palaeo-archipelago. The larger reptiles on the palaeo-island do not exceed 1.5?m in length, including a small carnivorous crocodylomorph, Terrestrisuchus, and a possible example of insular dwarfism in the basal dinosaur Pantydraco.  相似文献

Lithostratigraphy, physicochemical stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, and geochronology of the 77–70 Ma old series bracketing the Campanian–Maastrichtian boundary have been investigated by 70 experts. For the first time, direct relationships between macro- and microfossils have been established, as well as direct and indirect relationships between chemo-physical and biostratigraphical tools. A combination of criteria for selecting the boundary level, duration estimates, uncertainties on durations and on the location of biohorizons have been considered; new chronostratigraphic units are proposed. The solubilities of columbite, tantalite, wolframite, rutile, zircon and hafnon were determined as a function of the water contents in peralkaline and subaluminous granite melts. All experiments were conducted at 1035 °C and 2 kbar and the water contents of the melts ranged from nominally dry to approximately 6 wt.% H2O. Accessory phase solubilities are not affected by the water content of the peralkaline melt. By contrast, solubilities are affected by the water content of the subaluminous melt, where the solubilities of all the accessory phases examined increase with the water content of the melt, up to 2 wt.% H2O. At higher water contents, solubilities are nearly constant. It can be concluded that water is not an important control of accessory phase solubility, although the water content will affect diffusivities of components in the melt, thus whether or not accessory phases will be present as restite material. The solubility behaviour in the subaluminous and peralkaline melts supports previous spectroscopic studies, which have observed differences in the coordination of high field strength elements in dry vs. wet subaluminous granitic glasses, but not for peralkaline granitic glasses. Lastly, the fact that wolframite solubility increases with increasing water content in the subaluminous melt suggests that tungsten dissolved as a hexavalent species.  相似文献

Calcite samples were extracted both from the rock matrix and the superficial coating of a karstified fault plane of an underground quarry, located in the eastern border of the Paris basin. The karstification is dated as Quaternary. Analysis of mechanical calcite twinning reveals that only the calcite matrix has also undergone a compression trending WNW that can be attributed to the Mio-Pliocene alpine collision. Both coating and matrix have undergone a strike-slip regime with σ1 roughly trending north–south, that could correspond to the regional present-day state of stress, a strike-slip compression rather trending NNW, modified by local phenomena.
