The variation of ground motions at specific stations from events in six narrow areas was inspected by using K-NET and KiK-net records. A source-area factor for individual observation stations was calculated by averaging ratios between observed values for horizontal peak acceleration and velocity, as well as acceleration response spectra for 5% damping, and predicted values using a ground-motion model (usually known as an attenuation relation) by Kanno et al. (Bull Seismol Soc Am, 96:879–897, 2006). Standard deviations between observed and predicted amplitudes after the correction factor are less than 0.2 on the logarithmic scale and decrease down to around 0.15 in the short-period range. Intra-event standard deviation clearly increases with decreasing distance due to differing paths around near source area. Standard deviations may increase with amplitude or decrease with magnitude; however, both amplitude and magnitude of the data are strongly correlated with distance. The standard deviation calculated in this study is obviously much smaller than that of the original ground-motion model, as epistemic uncertainties are minimized by grouping ground motions at specific stations. This result indicates that the accuracy of strong ground motion prediction could be improved if ground-motion models for specified region are determined individually. For this to be possible, it is necessary to have dense strong-motion networks in high-seismicity regions, such as K-NET and KiK-net.  相似文献

为研究土体加速度在向上传递时,不同地震动对其峰值的影响,设计制作了干砂场地离心振动台试验,通过对比得出加速度放大系数沿深度变化的规律.结果表明:地震动加速度幅值越大, 其沿深度变化的放大系数越小;在波的幅值增大时,其放大系数存在一定的衰减率,且衰减率随着幅值的增大而减小;在相同幅值不同频谱特性地震动作用下,等幅正弦波的加速度放大系数最大, LEAP波其次,El-Centro波最小.土体加速度放大系数及其衰减率的分析有助于研究场地的动力响应变化规律,对抗震设计具有一定参考价值.  相似文献

针对低信噪比条件下微震初至拾取准确度低的问题,基于信号幅度变化引入权重因子,对传统长短时窗比值(STA/LTA)算法进行改进,提高初次拾取精度。为了进一步降低拾取误差,对变分模态分解(VMD)算法进行优化,基于互相关系数和排列熵准则自适应确定VMD分解层数,对初次拾取结果前后2—3 s的记录进行优化VMD,并计算分解后各本征模函数(IMF)的峰度赤池信息准则值,得到各IMF的到时,以各IMF的拾取结果及能量比综合加权得到二次拾取到时。仿真实验表明:改进后的STA/LTA在较低信噪比下可降低初次拾取误差约0.01 s以上;相比经验模态分解(EMD)和小波包分解,自适应VMD分解后能再次降低误差,最终与人工拾取结果平均误差在0.023 s以内。实际微震信号初至拾取结果表明,本算法能快速有效地识别初至P波,与人工拾取结果相比误差小,准确率高。   相似文献

Gravity data stored in the GGP database (GGP-ISDC) are used to study the small gravity variations caused by polar motion. In a first step the dominant tidal signal and the instrumental drift have to be eliminated from the gravity data. In most cases it is sufficient to model the instrumental drift by polynomials of low degree. The resulting non-tidal gravity variations are split up into their main constituents by fitting two sinusoidal waves with periods of 365.25 days (annual wobble) and 432 days (Chandler wobble). In a similar way the gravity effect of the observed polar motion (IERS-Data) is processed. The ratio between the correspondent amplitudes gives the amplitude factors δ of both wobbles.In a more sophisticated model an additional annual wave was included, destined to absorb disturbing influences with annual period (e.g. environmental influences of different origin). The amount of these influences and the success of their elimination are very different at the individual stations.Besides the comparison of the amplitude factors it also was tried to compare the gravity residuals itself. For that purpose the data series recorded at the different stations were transferred to a common reference point (0°E, 45°N). The graph of the stacked data series gives a first impression of the accordance of the data series recorded at the different stations. Since randomly distributed disturbing influences are reduced by the averaging the amplitude factors derived from the mean of the stacked data series are more reliable than the values derived from the data at the individual stations.In the end 12 data series were included in a common processing. Amplitude factors of 1.183 for the annual and 1.168 for the Chandler wobble result with mean errors less than ±0.010 (roughly estimated). Although corrections for environmental influences were not included directly, the additionally fitted annual wave reduced the scatter of the amplitude factors in the annual range considerably. In contrast to that the amplitude factor of the Chandler wobble remains nearly unaffected, confirming the assumption that the disturbing environmental influences do not extend into the period range of the Chandler wobble.  相似文献

Analysis of amplitude variation with offset is an essential step for reservoir characterization. For an accurate reservoir characterization, the amplitude obtained with an isotropic assumption of the reservoir must be corrected for the anisotropic effects. The objective is seismic anisotropic amplitude correction in an effective medium, and, to this end, values and signs of anisotropic parameter differences (Δδ and Δε) across the reflection interfaces are needed. These parameters can be identified by seismic and well log data. A new technique for anisotropic amplitude correction was developed to modify amplitude changes in seismic data in transversely isotropic media with a vertical axis of symmetry. The results show that characteristics of pre-stack seismic data, that is, amplitude variation with offset gradient, can be potentially related to the sign of anisotropic parameter differences (Δδ and Δε) between two layers of the reflection boundary. The proposed methodology is designed to attain a proper fit between modelled and observed amplitude variation with offset responses, after anisotropic correction, for all possible lithofacies at the reservoir boundary. We first estimate anisotropic parameters, that is, δ and ε, away from the wells through Backus averaging of elastic properties resulted from the first pass of isotropic pre-stack seismic inversion, on input data with no amplitude correction. Next, we estimate the anisotropic parameter differences at reflection interfaces (values and signs of Δδ and Δε). We then generate seismic angle gather data after anisotropic amplitude correction using Rüger's equation for the P-P reflection coefficient. The second pass of isotropic pre-stack seismic inversion is then performed on the amplitude-corrected data, and elastic properties are estimated. Final outcome demonstrates how introduced methodology helps to reduce the uncertainty of elastic property prediction. Pre-stack seismic inversion on amplitude-corrected seismic data results in more accurate elastic property prediction than what can be obtained from non-corrected data. Moreover, a new anisotropy attribute (ν) is presented for improvement of lithology identification.  相似文献

A local approximation method based on piecewise sinusoidal models has been proposed in order to study the frequency and amplitude characteristics of geomagnetic pulsations registered at a network of magnetic observatories. It has been established that synchronous variations in the geomagnetic pulsation frequency in the specified frequency band can be studied with the use of calculations performed according to this method. The method was used to analyze the spectral–time structure of Pc3 geomagnetic pulsations registered at the network of equatorial observatories. Local approximation variants have been formed for single-channel and multichannel cases of estimating the geomagnetic pulsation frequency and amplitude, which made it possible to decrease estimation errors via filtering with moving weighted averaging.  相似文献

Summary A three-stream infra-red radiation scheme for use particularly in boundary layer models is described. Local uniformity of the atmosphere (i.e. a generalization of the cooling to space approximation in clear air) is assumed, and the radiation equation is solved by simple collocation rather than by the full discrete ordinate method. In clear air the scheme corresponds to the usual approximation, which incorporates the Elsasser factor in the transmission function to account for diffuse radiation. The band models of Goody for water vapour and Elsasser for carbon dioxide are used for the band averaging of the transmission functions. Consistent with this, the band averaging of the radiation flux in cloud is undertaken by replacing the rapidly varying absorption coefficients for the gases by the actual band-averaged values of those coefficients. The band averaging is precise in the limits of strong and weak gaseous absorption.  相似文献

Abstract

New light is shed on the derivation of the energy flux of the linear MHD waves. It is shown that, according to a suggestion of Lighthill, the usual perturbation procedure, which starts from the general expression for the energy flux, need not be supplemented by an averaging procedure. As a result, it is shown that to second order in the wave amplitude, a quantity identifiable as the wave energy flux is conserved. Some of the subtleties inherent in the derivation of the pertubation energy equation are discussed.  相似文献

利用22个月的GRACE时变重力场,反演了三峡水库补给水系的水储量变化,并按月给出了数值结果.与水文学同化模型(CPC)的两组比较说明基于GRACE重力的反演结果是合理的.当高斯平均半径为1000 km时,该区总水储量变化的峰谷差为14 cm,其年变化振幅为58 cm,相位为-408天,与CPC模型合成重力数据的反演结果进行比较,其总水储量变化均方差为13 cm,年变化振幅相差01 cm,相位相差10天.为进一步检验GRACE能否监测该区真实水储量变化,还将其反演结果与CPC模型的真实平均结果进行比较,结果发现总体均方差为21 cm,年变化振幅相差17 cm,相位相差93天.因此,第一种比较过高地估计了GRACE监测该区水储量变化的能力,第二种比较则较真实地反映了实际情况,尽管反演结果与水文学的结果差别较大,但仍然显示GRACE能监测该区每月的水储量变化.  相似文献

Hydraulic conductivity identification remains a challenging inverse problem in ground water modeling because of the inherent nonuniqueness and lack of flexibility in parameterization methods. This study introduces maximum weighted log-likelihood estimation (MWLLE) along with multiple generalized parameterization (GP) methods to identify hydraulic conductivity and to address nonuniqueness and inflexibility problems in parameterization. A scaling factor for information criteria is suggested to obtain reasonable weights of parameterization methods for the MWLLE and model averaging method. The scaling factor is a statistical parameter relating to a desired significance level in Occam's window and the variance of the chi-squares distribution of the fitting error. Through model averaging with multiple GP methods, the conditional estimate of hydraulic conductivity and its total conditional covariances are calculated. A numerical example illustrates the issue arising from Occam's window in estimating model weights and shows the usefulness of the scaling factor to obtain reasonable model weights. Moreover, the numerical example demonstrates the advantage of using multiple GP methods over the zonation and interpolation methods because GP provides better models in the model averaging method. The methodology is applied to the Alamitos Gap area, California, to identify the hydraulic conductivity field. The results show that the use of the scaling factor is necessary in order to incorporate good parameterization methods and to avoid a dominant parameterization method.  相似文献

A convex model is used to estimate the maximum response of structural systems subjected to uncertain seismic excitations. The convex model is based on the assumption that the energy of the excitation is bounded . A reduction factor, defined in the modal domain by dividing the results obtained from the convex model by those from the time history of the actual record, is used to calibrate the convex model. An average reduction factor is also defined by averaging a set of excitation-specific reduction factors. The average reduction factor can be used for unknown excitations with an assumed energy bound and certain common earthquake characteristics. These common characteristics can be defined either by a set of previous earthquakes in the region or by regional earthquake spectra. The convex model using the average reduction factor yields acceptable predictions of the maximum response.  相似文献

A comparative analysis of predicted values of delta factors and phase shifts of eight major tidal waves obtained using a newly developed domestic tidal prediction software ATLANTIDA3.1_2014, their observed values, and values calculated using the PREDICT software from the ETERNA3.4 package, averaging over nine oceanic tidal models, is carried out. According to various criteria, the results returned by our software proved to be on average closer to the observations on 14 superconducting gravimeters of the GGP network than the results calculated by the PREDICT software. It is shown that this result is obtained both by the use of a more modern oceanic tidal model (FES2012) and a new model of the variation of amplitude delta factors with latitude (Spiridonov, 2014a).  相似文献

It is more and more popular to estimate the exchange of water vapor, heat and CO2fluxes between the land surface and the atmosphere using the eddy covariance technique. To get believable fluxes, it is necessary to correct the observations based on the different surface conditions and to determine relevant techinical parameters. The raw 10 Hz eddy covariance data observed in the Yucheng and Changbai Mountains stations were recalculated by various averaging periods (from 1 to 720 min) respectively, and the recalculated results were compared with the results calculated by the averaging period of 30 mins. Meanwhile, the distinctions of fluxes calculated by different averaging periods were analyzed. The continuous 15 days observations over wheat fields in the Yucheng station were mainly analyzed. The results are shown that: (i) In the Yucheng station, compared with the observations by 30 min, when the averaging period changes from 10 to 60 min, the variations of the eddy-covariance estimates of fluxes were less than 2%; when the averaging period changes less than 10 min, the estimate of fluxes reduced obviously with the reduction of the averaging period (the max relative error was -12%); and when the averaging period exceeds 120 min, the eddy covariance estimates of fluxes will be increased and become unsteady (the max relative error is over 10%); (ii) the eddy covariance estimates of fluxes over wheat field in the Yucheng station suggusted that it is much better to take 10 min as an averaging period in studying diurnal change of fluxes, and take 30min for a long-term flux observation; and (iii) normalized ratio was put forward to determine the range of averaging period of eddy covariance measurements. By comparing the observations over farmlands and those over forests, it is indicated that the increase of eddy covariance estimates over tall forest was more than that over short vegetation when the averaging period increased.  相似文献

采用NaKai拟合检验和潮汐变化分析方法,对应变固体潮的整点值数据进行处理,得到NaKai拟合振幅因子和应变M2 波潮汐因子变化曲线,并对这些变化曲线进行判断分析,统计异常的起止时间、幅度、特征及映震效果,计算出R值,通过查表得到R0值。从统计结果可以看出,应变(M2 波)潮汐因子变化曲线的异常特征较明显,每次异常都是在正常变化背景情况下出现的,异常有一个过程,异常信度较高,对应地震效果较好, R值评分较高;而NaKai拟合法得到的振幅因子曲线,其异常变化为突跳型,异常时间短。从计算结果来看, NaKai拟合检验和潮汐变化分析(M2 波)二种方法的R值均大于其R0值。  相似文献

A simple structure under earthquake excitation is modeled as a single‐degree‐of‐freedom system with nonlinear stiffness subject to modulated Kanai–Tajimi excitation. The nonstationary responses including the nonstationary probability densities of the system responses and the statistical moments are obtained in semi‐analytical form. By applying the stochastic averaging method based on the generalized harmonic functions, the averaged Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov(FPK) equation governing the nonstationary probability density of the amplitude is derived. Then, the solution of the FPK equation is approximately expressed by a series expansion in terms of a set of properly selected basis functions with time‐dependent coefficients. According to the Galerkin method, the time‐dependent coefficients are solved from a set of linear first‐order differential equations. Thus, the nonstationary probability densities of the amplitude and the state responses as well as the statistic moments of the amplitude are obtained. Finally, two types of the modulating functions, i.e. constant function and exponential function, are considered to give some semi‐analytical formulae. The proposed procedures are checked against the Monte Carlo simulation. The effects of the structure natural frequency and the intensity of the excitation as well as the ground stiffness on the system responses are discussed. This paper reports on a wave flume experimental campaign carried out to investigate the appearance, the growth and the migration of small scale bedforms on a sloping sandy bed due to both regular and random waves. A Vectrino Profiler along with a structured light approach were used for velocity and morphodynamic measurements at two positions, one located above the horizontal bed, and the other one above the sloping beach. The velocity was computed by phase averaging the velocity measurements. Several velocity profiles were analyzed, identifying an offshore-directed steady current that extends from few centimeters above the bottom for all the analyzed water column. Ripple geometry was measured by a structured light approach and compared with that predicted by several models to shed light on the effects induced by the sloping beach on the shape and asymmetry. Along the sloping beach, the ripples appeared strongly asymmetric with the onshore half wavelengths smaller than the offshore ones. Finally, ripple geometry and migration triggered by regular waves were compared with those generated by random waves with comparable flow orbital amplitude showing a good agreement.  相似文献

基于地磁逐日比异常期间地磁垂直分量日变化幅度变大或变小的统计结果,发现地磁逐日比高值异常是由异常日的地磁垂直分量日变化幅度变小和异常前一天的日变化幅度变大所致。其中,异常日的日变化幅度变小可能是地磁逐日比异常的主要因素,但异常前一天的日变化幅度变大也是异常成立的重要因素。此外,引用前人感应电流假说,结合统计结果进行了机理解释,研究结论进一步证实了前人对该方法的机理推测。  相似文献

The lunar semidiurnal tide in winds measured at around 90 km altitude has been isolated with amplitudes observed up to 4 m s–1. There is a marked amplitude maximum in October and also a considerable phase variation with season. The average variation of phase with height indicated a vertical wavelength of more than 80 km but this, and other results, needs to be viewed in the light of the considerable averaging required to obtain statistical significance. Large year-to-year variations in both amplitude and phase were also found. Some phase comparisons with the GSWM model gave reasonable agreement but the model amplitudes above a height of 100 km were much larger than those measured. An attempt to make a comparison with the lunar geomagnetic tide did not yield a statistically significant result.  相似文献
