矿床的直接定年就是直接对成矿流体或矿石矿物进行同位素定年 ,这样确定的年龄就直接代表了成矿年龄。目前主要有石英和闪锌矿中流体包裹体的Rb Sr同位素定年、黄铁矿和石英中包裹体的Ar Ar同位素定年、金属硫化物的Rb Sr同位素定年、金属硫化物和氧化物的Sm Nd同位素定年、金属硫化物的Re Os同位素定年 ,以及单个矿石矿物的Pb逐步淋滤法定年  相似文献

扬子克拉通北缘神农架地区出露了大量中元古代碳酸盐岩地层,但已有的同位素年代学资料有限,故对神农架群矿石山组白云岩开展了全岩Pb-Pb等时线测年.研究结果表明,矿石山组白云岩206Pb/204Pb变化范围相对较大,为18.753~23.106,而207Pb/204Pb和208Pb/204Pb则变化范围相对较小,分别为15.606~16.046和37.793~38.599.八件白云岩样品206Pb/204Pb和207Pb/204Pb之间呈良好的线性关系,构成Pb-Pb等时线年龄为1632±75Ma(MSWD=8.7),代表了矿石山组地层主体沉积时代,与已有的年代学结果可对应,表明Pb-Pb同位素体系可对古老的碳酸盐岩地层进行较为精确地定年.结合前人对于神农架群的年代学资料,确定神农架群的沉积时限应为1600~1100Ma的中元古代.   相似文献

碳酸盐岩Pb-Pb同位素测年是地质年代学一个新的分支,本文利用这一技术,直接测定了内蒙古地区腮林忽洞组年龄,是本区首次直接获得地质年龄,不仅为碳酸盐地区确定地质年代提供了新的方法,同时对本区地层研究提供了新的数据。本文期待引起同行讨论,使这一新方法在地质研究应用中臻于完善。  相似文献

Absolute chronology of marine sediment beyond the 14C age range provides a test for models of climate change and has many other applications. U-Th techniques have been used for such chronology by dating corals, but extending these techniques to marine sediment is complicated by the presence of significant initial 230Th—both in detrital material and scavenged from seawater. In this study, we investigate four methods of solving the initial 230Th problem for a particular type of marine sediment—the aragonite-rich sediments of carbonate platforms and slopes. Bulk sediment U-Th analyses can be corrected for initial Th to yield ages with ≈2 to 3 kyr precision for highstand periods when sediment aragonite contents are particularly high. Uncertainty on the corrections causes inadequate precision for sediment from other periods, however. Removal of scavenged Th before analysis would enable a dramatic increase in this precision but has not proved successful despite a range of chemical leach approaches. Using heavy liquids to separate the various carbonate minerals found in Bahamas sediment enables an isochron approach to correct for initial Th, but the presence of initial Th from two sources requires correction or removal of one source of initial Th before the other is deconvolved by the isochron. Quantitative removal of detrital material before isochron analysis proves a successful approach. Such isochron data demonstrate that, although sediment remains closed to U-Th on a centimetre scale, nuclides are moved from grain to grain by α-recoil. Such intergrain exchange is expected to be observed in all sediments containing mineral grains with different U concentrations. Measured 234U/238U allows the recoil movement to be corrected and results in isochron ages with precision sometimes as low as 3 kyr. The accuracy of this approach has been proved by dating samples within the 14C age range. Sediments spanning the penultimate deglaciation have also been dated. After a small correction for bioturbation, the age for this event is found to be 135.2 ± 3.5 ka. This date is ≈8 kyr before the peak in northern hemisphere insolation and suggests that deglaciation is initiated by a mechanism in the southern hemisphere or tropics. This isochron approach shows considerable promise for dating of sediments older than this event, which will provide further information about the timing and mechanisms of global climate change.  相似文献

The U-Pb systematics of 25 carbonate samples collected from the Upper Jatulian Tulomozero Formation in southeastern area of the Baltic shield has been studied. The U-Pb systems of Jatulian carbonates metamorphosed here under conditions of the greenschist facies likely have not been reset completely. Samples have been collected from core sections recovered by drilling 60 to 70 km apart from each other in western and eastern areas of the Onega Lake region. In majority, the rocks sampled characterize a thick upper member of the Tulomozero Formation, and a few samples have been collected in addition from its middle and lower members. The analyzed dolomitic rocks (Mg/Ca=0.60–0.68) have variable Mn (54–1450 ppm) and Sr (31–438 ppm) concentrations. Powdered dolomite samples have been treated preliminary in 1 N solution of ammonium acetate in order to get material for analysis enriched in pre-metamorphic carbonate phases in terms of U-Pb systematics. Five samples have been subjected to stepwise dissolution in 0.5 N HBr to analyze their carbonate phases L-1, L-2, L-3 and siliciclastic fraction for getting a deeper insight into the U-Pb systematics. The U-Pb characteristics of carbonate and siliciclastic fractions suggest deposition of studied carbonate sediments in two different paleobasins. In addition, they show for same samples the partial Pb redistribution between carbonate and siliciclastic components in the course of metamorphism and Pb gain from allogenic metamorphic fluids. The Pb-Pb date of 2090 ± 70 Ma (MSWD = 2.0) is estimated for the least altered dolomite samples from upper member of the Tulomozero Formation, which represent marine sediments of a paleobasin and contain a minimum of siliciclastic material, being the least-contaminated by gained Pb. The date obtained is well consistent with U-Pb and Sm-Nd ages established for the Jatulian volcanogenic rocks in northern and western areas of the Baltic shield.  相似文献

Based on particular examples, this paper considers the capabilities and constraints of the step-leaching Pb-Pb dating (PbSL) of metamorphogenic minerals. It was shown that stepwise leaching allows the separation of fractions enriched in uranogenic and thorogenic Pb isotopes, which can be used for the determination of mineral ages and the time of crystallization of coexisting equilibrium and, occasionally, disequilibrium monazites. The presence of monazite in a mineral is indicated by a high Th/U ratio similar to that of monazite. The main limitation of the method is related to the presence in minerals of both disequilibrium domains of the mineral matrix and disequilibrium monazite microinclusions. By the example of minerals studied, we discussed three scenarios for the development of the U-Th-Pb isotopic systems of metamorphogenic minerals.  相似文献

Stable C and O isotope ratios were measured in carbonate minerals, growing under concrete structures from two locations in the United States. These locations were under a bridge in Michigan and under an overpass in New York. The δ13C of the carbonate samples ranged from −21.6 to −31.4‰ (with respect to V-PDB) and clearly indicated precipitation under non-equilibrium conditions. Indeed, the values in some cases were more negative than could be accounted for by existing models that invoke 4 stages of kinetic fractionation. There have been suggestions that microbial activity involving C from gasoline and other fossil fuel sources might be responsible for the relatively low C isotope ratios measured in these carbonates. To explore this possibility, 14C measurements were made in some of the samples. All samples measured for 14C contained bomb C. The range of 14C concentrations suggested a non-uniform growth rate, although possible fossil fuel-derived carbon in the system needs future investigation. The δ18O values of the carbonates analyzed from Michigan range from 12.5 to 15.7‰ (with respect to V-SMOW), with a mean value of 13.7‰. The δ18O values of the NY samples range from 11.8 to 15.2‰, with a mean value of 13.1‰. The nearly identical mean values at both locations favors incorporation of O from atmospheric CO2 in carbonate precipitation. Additionally, the 210Pb radiometric technique was also attempted to explore the applicability of this technique in dating concrete derived carbonates as well as recent carbonates forming in a wide variety of environments. The results gave ages between 64 and 3.8 a and are consistent when compared with the date the bridge was constructed.  相似文献

The Rb-Sr and U-Pb systematics are studied in carbonate deposits of the Satka and Suran formations corresponding to middle horizons of the Lower Riphean Burzyan Group in the Taratash and Yamantau anticlinoria, respectively, the southern Urals. The least altered rock samples retaining the 87Sr/86Sr ratio of sedimentation basin have been selected for analysis using the original method of leaching the secondary carbonate phases and based on strict geochemical criteria of the retentivity (Mn/Sr < 0.2, Fe/Sr < 5 and Mg/Ca < 0.024). The stepwise dissolution in 0.5 N HBr has been used to enrich samples in the primary carbonate phase before the Pb-Pb dating. Three (L-4 to L-6) of seven consecutive carbonate fractions obtained by the step-wise leaching are most enriched in the primary carbonate (in terms of the U-Pb systematics). In the 206Pb/204Pb-207Pb/204Pb diagram, data points of these fractions plot along an isochron determining age of 1550 ± 30 Ma (MSWD = 0.7) for the upper member of the Satka Formation. The initial 87Sr/86Sr ratio in the least altered limestones of this formation is within the range of 0.70460–0.70480. Generalization of the Sr isotopic data published for the Riphean carbonates from different continents showed that 1650–1350 Ma ago the 87Sr/86Sr ratio in the world ocean was low, slightly ranging from 0.70456 to 0.70494 and suggesting the prevalent impact of mantle flux.  相似文献

Sources of carbonates delivered to the Tsimlyansk Reservoir, pathways of their withdrawal and distribution over the area, as well as morphological and structural features of minerals, are studied. It has been established that the Tsimlyansk Reservoir is characterized by imbalance between rates of carbonate material delivery to the reservoir and rates of its sedimentation. It is shown that the whole carbonate material is utilized by mollusks that make shells from aragonite. The mollusks accelerate the redistribution of chemical elements in carbonates, reconstruct their crystalline structures, discard Mg, and assimilate Sr.  相似文献

微生物诱导碳酸钙沉淀(microbially induced calcium carbonate precipitation, MICP)是一种在自然界中广泛存在的生物矿化过程。由于MICP具有反应速度快、环境条件要求低、应用范围广、温室气体减排效应显著等特点,在地质、土木、水利、环境多个领域中广泛推广应用。文章在分析国内外相关研究成果的基础上,归纳整理出反硝化过程、硫酸盐还原作用、尿素分解作用等多种微生物诱导下碳酸钙矿化途径和作用机制。以尿素分解菌为代表,重点讨论微生物诱导碳酸盐沉淀过程中pH、温度、离子浓度等环境因素对生成矿物晶型晶貌等方面的影响,总结了MICP的环境应用机制,即环境中的重金属元素通过替换作用替换矿化矿物中的Ca2+或CO32?从而被固定。MICP作为一种简单高效的地质环境过程,在生态环境修复领域具有广阔的应用前景。   相似文献

模拟不同气候条件下碳酸盐岩风化作用的淋溶实验研究   总被引:3,自引:3,他引:0  
通过模拟干热、湿热与干冷3种气候条件,以饱和CO2水作为淋溶液,对黔中岩溶区3条碳酸盐岩风化壳岩-土界面的岩粉层试样进行了淋溶实验(其中干热、湿热条件下淋溶到残余酸不溶物阶段),对淋出液的pH值以及主要造岩元素的浓度进行了动态分析。结果表明,碳酸盐岩风化壳岩-土界面由岩到土的转变过程中,伴随碳酸盐的溶蚀,酸不溶物已表现出明显的风化倾向。碳酸盐的溶蚀强度表现为干冷>干热>湿热的变化趋势。温度低,碳酸盐的溶解速率大;排水条件好,碳酸盐溶解释放的Ca、Mg易随风化流体排出体系。对于酸不溶物组分,淋溶实验中有:(1)K、Na、Mg、Si、P的载体矿物风化强度在干热条件下最大(至于Ca,由于方解石与白云石均是其主要的载体矿物,酸不溶物相中的Ca难以在淋出液中有效识别)。在干冷与湿热之间,K、Na、Mg等盐基离子的溶出能力大多表现为湿热>干冷,指示了温度对盐基离子释放强度的重要制约作用;而Si和P未表现出一致的变化趋势,可能源于淋溶体系微环境的差异。(2)Fe与Mn表现出弱迁移性。其中,Fe在干冷环境下淋出强度最弱,说明温度是制约含Fe矿物分解速率的重要因素。而Fe在干热与湿热之间,以及Mn在3种淋溶条件下,未呈现出一致的变化趋势。(3)Al和Ti在碳酸盐岩风化过程中表现出强烈的惰性。   相似文献

The features of present deposits that form in the vicinity of hot springs can provide clues to the parameters of paleowaters in places of past hydrothermal activity marked by remnant carbonate and/or siliceous sinter. We investigated a large carbonate body at the Garga hot spring developing in the Baikal zone of nitric hydrotherms in the Barguzin Rift Zone valley. The main focus was on the structure of the carbonate mound, as well as on the partitioning of radioactive elements between the cyanobacterial mat and the inorganic component of the body (the issue that has never been explored before). The cyanobacterial community of the Garga spring is an active biosorbent of 226Ra, 228Ra, 210Pb. The radionuclides accumulated by biosorption become preserved in minerals that form within the bacterial community. The reported data of mineral formation in the cyanobacterial mat along with the mineralogy and structure of the carbonate mound of the Garga spring have implications for the complex history of the Garga body. It has been produced jointly by precipitation from the venting thermal water (opal-calcite-fluorite-barite-celestine assemblage) and microbial metabolic activity (coarse calcite and thin black encrustation rich in Mn minerals).  相似文献

抚仙湖是我国面积、蓄水量最大的高原湖泊之一。通过对抚仙湖FXH-B2钻孔岩芯296 cm沉积物的矿物组成和碳酸盐含量分析,结合岩芯XRF扫描数据和AMS^14C年代的测定,探讨了抚仙湖湖泊沉积物中碳酸盐含量与方解石矿物及沉积物Ca元素相对含量之间的关系及其环境指示意义,在对比和参考水下地形测量、地球物理勘探、水质和地球化学监测和不同部位钻孔岩芯的分析结果的基础上,重建了抚仙湖全新世以来气候和湖泊水位的变化。结果指示,抚仙湖碳酸盐含量与方解石的XRD信号强度、沉积物Ca元素的XRF扫描数据之间存在很高的相关性,沉积物中碳酸盐类物质主要为方解石(其他碳酸盐类矿物相对含量极微甚至可以忽略不计),沉积物中Ca元素主要来自碳酸盐,因此其含量由碳酸盐、即方解石矿物含量决定。沉积物中碳酸盐含量的变化可以用沉积物中Ca元素XRF扫描结果进行表示。由于抚仙湖处于亚热带季风气候区,以10月至次年4月降水量极少而蒸发强烈为特点的干季和以5月至9月降水为主的湿季所形成的干湿变化控制了湖泊演化的主要过程,区域气候变化是湖泊演化和水位变化的主要动力。结合湖泊沉积碳酸盐稳定同位素δ^18O和δ^13C、有机质含量及其同位素δ^13C、抚仙湖北部边缘水下侵蚀地形测量、地球物理勘探和沉积地层年代的确定和讨论,明确了抚仙湖沉积碳酸盐含量指示湖泊水位的变化,并重建了抚仙湖过去约12 ka以来水位变化的历史。结果显示,在约12 cal.ka B.P.至2.2 cal.ka B.P.期间的湖泊水位变化主要经历了波动式降低的过程,其中4.37~2.2 cal.ka B.P.期间高CaCO3含量、偏正的碳酸盐δ^18O、δ^13C值指示抚仙湖一度出现低于现代湖面约30 m左右的低水位,可能记录了抚仙湖流域极端的干旱时期,在2.2~2.0 cal.ka B.P.期间抚仙湖水位经历了快速升高的变化事件,期间湖水位快速上升达到现代湖水水位,揭示了印度季风控制区区域降水的特殊性和气候变化的突发性。  相似文献

准噶尔盆地腹部永进地区不整合面附近砂岩储层中次生孔隙和碳酸盐胶结物相对发育.通过薄片观察、阴极发光、扫描电镜/能谱分析,认为碳酸盐胶结物是研究区砂岩最主要的胶结物成分,其主要类型为(铁)方解石和铁白云石,垂向上含量随深度增加而增加,多集中分布在白垩系和侏罗系之间的不整合面之下约100 m的范围之内.碳、氧同位素分析以及泥岩中各元素测试结果表明,大气淡水通过永进地区白垩系和侏罗系之间存在的角度不整合对其下伏地层物性作用不明显,晚期含铁碳酸盐胶结物和孔隙发育主要与有机酸关系密切.在有机酸作用下,早期发育的碳酸盐胶结物、长石碎屑颗粒以及粘土矿物为晚期碳酸盐胶结物的发育提供了物质基础,而且溶解的物质在酸性流体作用下运移至不整合面附近重新沉淀,造成高孔隙度和高含量碳酸盐胶结物在深度上具有重叠的特征.由于含铁碳酸盐胶结物形成时代晚而且储层未受到其他建设性成岩作用的明显改造,晚期碳酸盐胶结物含量和面孔率呈互相补偿的关系, 表明了晚期碳酸盐胶结物对储层物性的破坏作用.  相似文献

High-temperature carbonate minerals have been observed in association with sulfide minerals below the platiniferous Johns-Manville (J-M) reef of the Stillwater Complex in a stratigraphic section that has been previously shown to be characterized by unusually Cl-rich apatite. The carbonate assemblage consists of dolomite with exsolved calcite in contact with sulfide minerals: chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite in the Peridotite Zone; and pyrrhotite with pentlandite, pyrite and chalcopyrite in Gabbronorite Zone I of the Lower Banded Series. A reaction rim surrounds the carbonate–sulfide assemblages, showing an alteration of the host orthopyroxene to a more calcium-enriched, Fe-depleted pyroxene. The calcite–dolomite geothermometer yields a minimum formation temperature as high as 950 °C for the unmixed assemblages. Iron and manganese concentrations exceed the range seen in carbonatite and mantle xenolith carbonates and are distinctly different from the nearly pure end-member carbonates associated with greenschist-grade (and lower) assemblages (e.g., carbonate veins in serpentinite) that occur locally throughout the complex. The association of high-temperature carbonates with sulfides beneath the J-M reef supports the hydromagmatic theory which involves a late-stage chloride–carbonate fluid percolating upwards, dissolving PGE and sulfides and redepositing them at a higher stratigraphic level. Characterization of the processes which form strategically important metal deposits, such as the J-M reef of the Stillwater Complex and the analogous Merensky reef of the Bushveld Complex in South Africa, could potentially lead to better exploration models and, more broadly, a deeper understanding of the cooling and compositional evolution of large bodies of ultramafic and mafic magma and of carbonatites, on both a local and a regional scale.  相似文献

表生到埋藏成岩作用的温度与压力(40~100℃,常压~25MPa),方解石、白云石相对含量不同的碳酸盐岩的溶蚀证明,在表生与相对浅埋藏的温压条件(低于75℃、20MPa)下,方解石的溶解速率大大超过白云石,随着温度和压力的升高,两者溶解速率的差值变小。在相对深埋藏的温压条件(高于75℃、20MPa)下,白云石的溶解速率已超过方解石,在100、25MPa的温压条件下,微晶白云石(白云石/方解石=98/2)的溶解速率已是含云灰岩(白云石/方解石=16/84)的2倍,造成这种现象的原因是白云石的温度、压力效应大大超过方解石之故。根据实验的结果可以预测:表生与相对浅埋藏的温压条件下,石灰岩的岩溶作用较白云岩发育;但在深埋藏阶段,由溶解作用造成的白云岩次生孔隙应比方解石更为发育,这是埋藏深度大于2000m的地层中,白云岩储层多于石灰岩的重要原因。  相似文献

碳酸盐岩中测定碳酸盐矿物的稀土元素主要有酸溶-ICP-MS和LA-ICP-MS方法.酸溶-ICP-MS方法用盐酸、硝酸溶解碳酸盐矿物,但也能溶解部分非碳酸盐矿物,而影响分析结果;用醋酸溶样可避免非碳酸盐矿物的干扰,但可能没有溶样完全,同样影响分析结果.LA-ICP-MS是应用激光对碳酸盐矿物进行原位剥蚀,将蒸发物导入ICP-MS进行分析,对不合粘土等的碳酸盐矿物最有效,由于激光束光斑较大,且碳酸盐岩中普遍含有微小的粘土矿物,可能也存在不确定性.总体而言,酸溶-ICP-MS和LA-ICP-MS获得的稀土元素页岩标准化配分模式及主要参数相似,均可用于沉积环境的示踪.  相似文献

The Blazna-Guset mining area is located in the Rodna Mountains, Eastern Carpathians, North Romania. It is mostly covered by the metamorphic rocks of the Rebra Series (Upper Precambrian; K/Ar dating gave 800 m.y.). The middle part of this series — called the Carbonate Formation — contains lead-zinc pyrite ores hosted by prevailingly carbonate rocks. The ores form flat and thin lenses occurring together with fine intercalations of silicate-, graphite- and quartz-bearing rocks within the calcite-dominated limestones. Pyrite, ironpoor sphalerite and galena are the main ore minerals. Chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and magnetite also occur in small amounts. Within the highly deformed and partly recrystallized parts of the ore bodies bournonite, arsenopyrite and pearceitepolybasite were locally encountered. Ba, Ti and Mn are the most significant ore-accompanying elements.  相似文献

Sulphide and carbonate minerals from nine bituminous coal seams of a Paralic Series were investigated by means of polished-section microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and absorption spectral analyses. In addition to syngenetic accumulations of kaolinite, illite and quartz, diagenetic veinlets of subhedral pyrite and marcasite most often occur in vitrinite clast fissures and in post-tectonic fissures, nests and lenses with fusinite. Epigenetic anhedral and subhedral grains of ankerite, dolomite, siderite and calcite are also frequently found in post-tectonic veins. Pyrite replaced some of the marcasite grains and it dominates in older coal seams in the Flora Beds as compared with the Grodziec Beds. Occasionally there are anhedral and subhedral galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite grains among coal macerals as well as cerussite among post-tectonic carbonate veins. They all represent the only minerals that are abundant in definite chalcophile elements (Cd, Co, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn). In addition to the minerals just mentioned, the elements occurred in pyrite and ankerite grains, which contained inclusions of fusinite and other minerals (among others, clay and carbonate minerals in pyrite, pyrite in carbonates). Although there is a low content of minerals accumulating Cd, Co, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn, the minerals significantly influence the average concentration of elements in the coal seams. In the Grodziec Beds, mineral matter, especially carbonates and sulphides, determines (>50%) the concentration of Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn in coal. The basic part of Cd, Co and Ni in the coal seams of the Grodziec Beds and of Co, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn in coal seams of the Flora Beds originates from organic matter. These regularities can be important, from an ecological perspective, in stating whether the coals investigated are useful for combustion and in chemical processing.  相似文献

Mineral parageneses and distribution of secondary minerals in the sedimentary sections of the western Siberian lowland (Mesozoic), the Kuznetsk basin (coal measures) and the Minusinsk depression (Devonian), in reference to diagenesis, epigenesis, and the initial metageneses, as criteria for identification of large cycles of sedimentation (series) by means of the lithological-formatonal analysis, show among other things that the originally polymictic rocks (continental terrigenic sediments) are rendered practically oligomictic by kaolinization of their feldspars and micas; corrosion of feldspars in carbonate rocks renders them significantly quartzitic; formation of dioctahedral mica and chlorite (deep epigenesis) in all horizons homogenizes mineralogically the clay fraction of the originally clayey rocks. The sequence of changes in the ratio of secondary quartz to secondary plagioclase is essentially the same throughout the profiles as in their terrigenic analogues. An abundance of clayey cementing substance in the original sediments is conducive to conservation of their elastic fraction, so that the regeneration peaks (authigenic minerals) may develop both under and over such horizons, but not in the horizons themselves. – IGR Staff.  相似文献
