High-resolution oxygen isotope (δ18O) profiles of Holocene stalagmites from four caves in Northern and Southern Oman and Yemen (Socotra) provide detailed information on fluctuations in precipitation along a latitudinal transect from 12°N to 23°N. δ18O values reflect the amount of precipitation which is primarily controlled by the mean latitudinal position of the ITCZ and dynamics of the Indian summer monsoon (ISM). During the early Holocene rapidly decreasing δ18O values indicate a rapid northward displacement in the mean latitudinal position of the summer ITCZ and the associated ISM rainfall belt, with decadal- to centennial-scale changes in monsoon precipitation correlating well with high-latitude temperature variations recorded in Greenland ice cores. During the middle to late Holocene the summer ITCZ continuously migrated southward and monsoon precipitation decreased gradually in response to decreasing solar insolation, a trend, which is also recorded in other monsoon records from the Indian and East Asian monsoon domains. Importantly, there is no evidence for an abrupt middle Holocene weakening in monsoon precipitation. Although abrupt monsoon events are apparent in all monsoon records, they are short-lived and clearly superimposed on the long-term trend of decreasing monsoon precipitation. For the late Holocene there is an anti-correlation between ISM precipitation in Oman and inter-monsoon (spring/autumn) precipitation on Socotra, revealing a possible long-term change in the duration of the summer monsoon season since at least 4.5 ka BP. Together with the progressive shortening of the ISM season, gradual southward retreat of the mean summer ITCZ and weakening of the ISM, the total amount of precipitation decreased in those areas located at the northern fringe of the Indian and Asian monsoon domains, but increased in areas closer to the equator.  相似文献

研究晚全新世季风气候演变有助于进一步认识与预测未来季风区气候变化。太平洋东西两岸是全球季风集中分布的地区,已经有大量的古气候记录发表,但是缺乏对各个季风区气候突变事件以及整体变化趋势的对比研究。针对这一问题,选取亚洲季风区、印澳季风区、北美季风区、南美季风区11个洞穴石笋δ18O和1个湖泊Ti含量,对比研究各个记录在3.5~0.5 ka B.P.期间指示的夏季风变化特征。通过对比发现四大季风区的石笋δ18O在晚全新世整体上呈现偏正趋势,指示夏季风减弱;2次重要的气候突变事件1.5 ka B.P.和2.7 ka B.P.弱夏季风事件在各个季风区内均有表现;同时也记录了一系列十年际-百年际尺度的弱夏季风事件,表明太平洋东西两岸和南北半球的夏季风都有减弱的趋势,这与先前研究认为的南北半球呈现"see-saw"模式表现出不一样的特征。晚全新世以来ENSO(El Nino-Southern Oscillation)活动的增强对太平洋东西两岸南北半球夏季风减弱具有重要影响。在El Nino事件发生时,Walker环流减弱,而且它的上升支向东移动远离西太平洋暖池,西太平洋副热带高压增强并向西移动,导致亚洲夏季风减弱。Walker环流的东移也会使得印度尼西亚-太平洋暖池(Indo-Pacific Warm Pool,简称IPWP)海温下降,热带季节内震荡减弱致使印澳夏季风减弱;此外,El Nino事件发生时,赤道东太平洋海水温度上升导致东西太平洋海水温度梯度减弱,在此状态下南美季风区低空急流(Low Level Jet,简称LLJ)减弱,导致南美夏季风减弱;同时,北美洲加勒比海低空急流增强,使得该季风区下沉气流增强,导致北美夏季风减弱。我们的研究表明,在晚全新世ENSO活动增强的状态下,太平洋东西两岸南北半球夏季风变化可能都呈现减弱趋势。  相似文献

A continuous sediment record since 12.3 cal ka bp from Lake Wuxu (south‐eastern Tibetan Plateau) was investigated in terms of the Holocene evolution of the Indian Summer Monsoon. The molar C/N ratio and stable C isotope were used to identify the source of the organic matter as well as climate conditions. The evolution of Lake Wuxu was summarized wihtin two periods. During the first period (early to mid‐Holocene), the lake received increased fluvially transported materials, reflecting variation in the summer monsoon with solar insolation. The lake level declined and water residence time increased because of reduced river discharge during the second period (late Holocene) corresponding to a weakening of the summer monsoon. The organic material revealed a major contribution from lake primary productivity, which showed identical patterns with a high‐resolution isotope record from Dongge Cave, as well as total solar irradiance. Our record from Lake Wuxu indicates that the Holocene evolution of the Indian Summer Monsoon has been driven by the solar forcing at decadal/centennial to millennial time scales. Furthermore, an abrupt decline in the monsoon was detected at around 4.0 cal ka bp , which is probably caused by an increased frequency of EI Nino‐Southern Oscillation events. 亚洲中纬度气候主要受两大环流控制,继而划分出受亚洲季风控制季风区和受西风环流控制的西风区。已有研究发现在年代际至千年尺度上,两气候区的湿度演化存在错相位、甚至反相位的现象。文章综述了中更新世以来,多千年至轨道尺度上,两气候区的湿度演化模态的异同,以此深入了解亚洲气候演化的系统性。结果表明:二者的间冰期气候演化的整体趋势存在明显差别,尤其MIS 13以来,二者的演化趋势基本相反。在间冰期的多千年至万年尺度上,二者的气候演化模态呈现非同相位:高精度的释光测年结果显示天山地区的湿度变化滞后于黄土高原地区大概3~5 ka,且该现象在更早的间冰期可重复。在冰期的千年尺度上,两地的湿度演化基本一致,但西风区湿度的波动幅度更大。  相似文献

大量研究表明,随着气候变暖,全球生态环境发生了巨大变化。然而,在相对温暖的气候条件下,假若发生重大降温事件,生态环境尤其是植被生态会如何响应,值得深入探讨。利用近年来发表的全新世高分辨率古气候记录以及孢粉记录的植被变化,对全新世中期7 ka(1 ka=1000 cal.a B.P.)前后的降温事件及其对植被生态的影响进行了综合分析。结果表明,7 ka前后降温事件在北半球很大范围都有记录,在季风边缘区伴随着气候的干旱,而在西风主导的区域总体表现为气候湿润。中国北方季风区山地以及高纬度地区表现为建群种的变化,如阔叶树种的减少以及针叶树种的增加;在季风边缘区总体表现为干旱气候下植被盖度的降低;而在西北内陆山地高山区域表现为林线的降低或树种的变化,低山地区森林下限表现为森林成分的增加以及耐旱树种的减少;在山前草原和盆地荒漠草原区域,植被的响应表现为植被盖度的增加和喜湿成分的增加。降温直接影响湿度较大的高山地区的森林成分和林线高度,而在低山干旱半干旱地区,降温则通过抑制蒸发、增加有效湿度影响植被盖度和组成。由于不同钻孔年代的不确定性、不同植被类型对气候变化的敏感性不同等,不同区域发生植被转型的时间不尽一致。全新世中期7 ka降温事件的触发机制有待深入研究,可能与大型火山喷发以及太阳活动变化有关,夏季太阳辐射的持续降低以及地球系统内部反馈也是共同的原因。  相似文献

气候快速变化过程与机制一直是古气候研究的热点科学问题,随着不同地区高分辨率地质记录的增多,年代学方法的改进,此类快速气候变化事件的区域差异性日益突出,对比和认识这些区域之间的变化细节,有助于认识快速气候变化的规律和驱动机制。文章以中亚黄土为主要研究对象,根据黄土沉积特征与现代气候特征,将中亚黄土分为西部、北部和东部3个亚区,在总结中亚西风区黄土古气候研究进展的基础上,回顾了近年来中亚地区末次冰期西风区气候突变事件研究现状与问题,初步探讨了在亚轨道尺度上末次冰期快速气候变化发生过程和机制。结果表明,粒度、矿物学、地球化学等指标均指示中亚这3个黄土亚区末次冰期确实存在千年尺度的快速气候波动信号,但在年代和变率上存在区域差异,这种差异除了缺乏精确的年代学控制外,还与区域水热组合和区域地形结构有关。这些冷暖的快速气候变化与北大西洋高纬地区冰盖收缩扩张、西伯利亚高压强度和范围的变化导致风动力变化和西风带南北迁移有关。今后需进一步加强高分辨率年代序列的建立,进一步遴选中亚黄土中有效的、能够独立反映风力强度、源区信息、古温度、古降水等代用指标,并结合古气候模拟试验研究其驱动机制。  相似文献

There has been much recent debate about Holocene climate variation in the monsoon region of China, especially the temporal pattern of variations in precipitation, the time-transgressive nature of the Holocene precipitation maximum, and the extent to which variations in regions influenced by the Indian Summer Monsoon (ISM) and the East Asian Summer Monsoon (EASM) have been synchronous. We summarize and compare carbonate oxygen-isotope records (δ18Ocarb) from ten lakes within the present-day ISM region. We discuss their paleoclimate significance considering the present-day moisture source, isotopic composition of precipitation and the hydrological setting. The δ18Ocarb records are controlled mainly by the isotopic composition of lake water, which in turn is a function of regional Precipitation/Evaporation (P/E) balance and the proportion of precipitation that is monsoon-derived. We normalized the δ18Ocarb data and used these records to generate an integrated moisture index. This index, along with oxygen-isotope records from speleothems and carbon-isotope records (δ13Corg) from peats within the monsoon region, suggests that Holocene climate was broadly synchronous across the monsoon region and, within the limits of accuracy of the existing age models, provides no strong evidence for previously-proposed anti-phasing of the ISM and the EASM. Stable-isotope records from lake sediments and peat bogs have excellent potential for providing high-quality paleoclimate data for monsoon Asia, and complement high-resolution speleothem sequences, which are only found in certain localities.  相似文献

Soil erosion is a natural geomorphological process, which can be triggered by both natural (climate, tectonics, or both) and anthropogenic (e.g., agriculture) perturbation of the ecosystem. Evidence has accrued that the Holocene climate experienced large fluctuations in amplitude and suggestions of human impact on the ecosystem provided by the Neolithic revolution dating back to the early Holocene have been made. The question of whether man or climate was the dominant factor responsible for Holocene soil erosion remains unresolved. To resolve the reasons for Holocene sediment redistribution, high-resolution chronometric data on sediments derived from colluvial and alluvial archives from southern Greece were obtained and combined with available archaeological and paleoclimatic data from the eastern Mediterranean. These data show a significant correlation between sedimentation rates and settlement history. Climatic fluctuations are only weakly correlated with sedimentation history. The results show high sedimentation rates during the Early Neolithic (7th millennium BC) in southern Greece, suggesting that Holocene soil erosion was triggered by human activity and then amplified by enhanced precipitation. This would explain the high sedimentation rates during the Early Neolithic in connection with enhanced precipitation in the eastern Mediterranean, which continued until the mid-Holocene.  相似文献

基于豫西老母洞LM2石笋8个高精度230Th年龄,449个氧碳同位素,建立了达十年际分辨率的8.2~10.9 ka B.P.亚洲季风变化的δ18O记录序列.老母洞石笋δ18O值最为偏负达-12.0‰,最偏正为-8.2‰,振幅达3.8‰.早全新世10.13~10.9 ka B.P.时段内,河南西部老母洞石笋和东石崖石笋,陕西九仙洞C996-2石笋δ18O曲线揭示该时段内季风稳定,而中国南方的衙门洞石笋、三宝洞石笋和极地冰芯GRIP记录揭示该时段季风逐渐增强;同时季风达到顶峰的时期也不相同,进一步说明中国南北方早全新世10.13~10.9 ka B.P.时段季风演变过程的差异,可能与中国南北方气候的响应机制有关.从早全新世平均分辨率10年的LM2石笋记录中识别出8.2 ka,9.5 ka,10.2 ka和10.9 ka显著弱季风事件,尤其是8.2 ka和9.5 ka事件.对比分析老母洞与已发表的高分辨率石笋δ18O记录发现:石笋所揭示的某些冷事件发生时间在亚洲季风区存在差异,主要表现在事件内部变化特征及趋势上.LM2石笋δ18O曲线并没有明显记录9.3 ka弱季风事件,而是在9.3~9.6 ka B.P.左右记录了一个弱季风事件,与DSY09(2009)、Y1、HS-4记录相似,表明在该时段内存在季风的减弱事件,但是氧同位素传输的复杂性,使其在南北方表现不同.此外,在LM2石笋δ18O的8.2 ka B.P.开始时段,氧同位素曲线阶段性下降,且变幅达3‰,与Zhang等研究万象洞石笋提出的“中国8 200阶段”吻合,表明中国北方地区的8.2 ka事件是阶段性的事件,而南方的石笋氧同位素记录揭示的8.2 ka事件并未表现出阶段性特征,其原因有待于更多北方高精度石笋记录来进一步研究.LM2石笋氧同位素记录进行功率谱分析发现:在短尺度上季风变化与太阳活动密切相关,这与近年来对早全新世极端气候变化研究的驱动机制是一致的,早全新世亚洲季风的演化与太阳活动变化引起的太阳辐射能量的变化和北半球高纬气候的变化状况有关.  相似文献

统计了全新世早期气候突变事件"8.2 ka BP冷事件", 并对其触发机制及区域气候响应做了较深入的分析. 从各种气候记录的分布情况来看, 全新世早期的这次冷事件是全球性气候事件, 并非是一种局部气候变冷事件. 全新世早期Agassiz和Ojibway阻塞湖在大约8.47 cal ka BP时突然排泄, 可能是造成8.4~8.0 cal ka BP时期北大西洋地区突然降温的主要原因;另外, 8.4~8.0 cal ka BP期间的太阳辐射量减小或太阳活动减弱, 也可能对全新世早期的这次冷事件有一定强化作用. 由于西风带南移和季风环流减弱等原因的影响, 使得这次冷事件区域气候响应有明显的不同, 欧洲的中高纬度地区、东亚地区呈现一种冷干的气候状态;北美洲三分之二的地区降水量减少、风力加强;中美洲、非洲的大部分地区和阿拉伯半岛均以干旱为主;东欧、地中海地区呈现普遍的冷湿气候环境, 亚马逊盆地、智利玻利维亚高原呈现低湿的气候状况.  相似文献

根据最近的研究结果,中国季风区同一洞穴或同一区域的晚全新世石笋氧同位素序列具有较好的重复性,表明中国季风区的石笋氧同位素短尺度(10~100年尺度,后同)变率所具有的信号强于噪音。通过进一步比较分析发现,一些石笋氧同位素记录虽然来自距离上千公里之遥的不同区域,但它们的波动形式在年代际至世纪尺度极其相似,说明它们是一致的大区域信号,但多数石笋氧同位素序列未能校准到本区器测的降水或温度记录上。通过与中国气候学家建立的各类季风指数比较,发现这些具有一致大区信号的中国石笋氧同位素序列与海平面气压差指数或海陆温差指数关系最好。再通过与印度洋-太平洋海域海平面气压差、以及许多海、气环流观测记录对比,发现中国季风区石笋氧同位素序列记录了20世纪后期最强的一次全球海、气环流年代际均值突变,由此初步确认了中国季风区石笋氧同位素短尺度变化的环流意义: 当印度洋海水和中东太平洋海水温度偏低时,西太平洋副热带高压偏北东缩而弱,中国季风区内来自印度洋的水汽份额增大,由于这些水汽的输送路程很远,导致中国季风区的雨水氧同位素及石笋氧同位素较轻; 而当印度洋海水和中东太平洋海水温度偏高时,西太平洋副热带高压偏南西伸而强,中国季风区内来自印度洋的远源水汽份额减少,而来自西太平洋的水汽份额增大,由于后者输送路程较近,导致中国季风区的雨水氧同位素及石笋氧同位素较重。由此命名瑞利分馏原理所决定、反映印度洋/太平洋海、气环流转变且大区域一致的中国季风区石笋氧同位素10~100年尺度变化为“环流效应”。  相似文献

通过对云南华坪葫芦洞FL4石笋进行高精度的ICP—MS—230Th/U测年和高分辨率的碳、氧同位素分析,建立了该地区6 060-4 185 a BP间高分辨率的西南季风气候变化时间序列,进而揭示了该时段发生的3次季风减弱事件。 这3次百年尺度(持续时间为90~240a)的干旱寒冷事件,分别发生在6 060-5 950 a BP、5 380-5 140 a BP、4 810-4 620 a BP,呈台阶状演变;而石笋的碳同位素记录揭示了2次强降水事件,分别发生在5 503-5 443 a BP和4 210-4 185 a BP,持续时间分别为25a和60a。石笋碳、氧同位素记录的西南季风减弱以及强降水事件明显受太阳辐射强度的控制。分辨率为3~10 a的碳、氧同位素记录表明,在百年尺度的西南季风气候变化上,叠加了一系列十年尺度的气候突变事件,呈锯齿状的高频波动。这些短时间尺度的季风气候波动事件与树轮14C 残差、冰芯记录极为相似,反映低纬度地区石笋记录的季风气候与高纬度及北极地区的气候具有极好的可比性,可能主要是受中低纬度太阳辐射强度以及北半球大气环流的影响,太阳辐射强度的变化是控制印度季风的快速推进或退出(萎缩)以及百年尺度上的气候波动的主要动因。   相似文献

Holocene temperature fluctuations in the northern Tibetan Plateau   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
Arid Central Asia (ACA) lies on a major climatic boundary between the mid-latitude westerlies and the northwestern limit of the Asian summer monsoon, yet only a few high-quality reconstructions exist for its climate history. Here we calibrate a new organic geochemical proxy for lake temperature, and present a 45-yr-resolution temperature record from Hurleg Lake at the eastern margin of the ACA in the northern Tibetan Plateau. Combination with other proxy data from the same samples reveals a distinct warm–dry climate association throughout the record, which contrasts with the warm–wet association found in the Asian monsoon region. This indicates that the climatic boundary between the westerly and the monsoon regimes has remained roughly in the same place throughout the Holocene, at least near our study site. Six millennial-scale cold events are found within the past 9000 yr, which approximately coincide with previously documented events of northern high-latitude cooling and tropical drought. This suggests a connection between the North Atlantic and tropical monsoon climate systems, via the westerly circulation. Finally, we also observe an increase in regional climate variability after the mid-Holocene, which we relate to changes in vegetation (forest) cover in the monsoon region through a land-surface albedo feedback.  相似文献

Stalagmite J1 from Jintanwan Cave, Hunan, China, provides a precisely dated, decadally resolved δ18O proxy record of paleoclimatic changes associated with the East Asian monsoon from ∼29.5 to 14.7 ka and from ∼12.9 to 11.0 ka. At the time of the last glacial maximum (LGM), the East Asian summer monsoon weakened and then strengthened in response to changes in Northern Hemisphere insolation. As the ice sheets retreated the East Asian summer monsoon weakened, especially during Heinrich event H1, when atmospheric and oceanic teleconnections transferred the climatic changes around the North Atlantic to the monsoonal regions of Eastern Asia. A depositional hiatus between ∼14.7 and 12.9 ka leaves the deglacial record incomplete, but an abrupt shift in δ18O values at ∼11.5 ka marks the end of the Younger Dryas and the transition into the Holocene. Comparisons of the J1 record to other Chinese speleothem records indicate synchronous climatic changes throughout monsoonal China. Further comparisons to a speleothem record from western Asia (Socotra Island) and to Greenland ice cores support hemispherical-scale paleoclimatic change. Spectral and wavelet analyses reveal centennial- and decadal-scale periodicities that correspond to solar frequencies and to oscillations in atmospheric and oceanic circulation.  相似文献

古气候重建和模拟研究相结合可有效揭示气候变化的机制,但针对东亚夏季风区的相关研究还有待深入。文章基于现代观测数据及古气候记录的定量化重建结果,评估过去21 ka气候瞬变模拟(Transient Climate Evolution simulation over last 21000 years,简称TraCE-21ka)对现代东亚气候及古夏季风演变的再现能力,对比分析其异同并探索东亚夏季风区南部(SEASM)和北部(NEASM)特征时期的气候变化及可能的驱动机制。结果表明:TraCE-21ka模拟和定量化重建结果相对一致,即末次冰盛期偏干冷,全新世早中期偏暖湿,但模拟的变化幅度小于重建。相对于SEASM,NEASM变化幅度较显著。同时,SEASM的温度及降水和NEASM的温度在整个全新世期间模拟和重建的结果一致性较高,但NEASM模拟和重建的降水在晚全新世一致而早全新世不一致。相对于重建降水的南部和北部显著不同步变化,即南部降水在早全新世高而北部在中全新世高,模拟降水的南、北差异性较小,且为全新世持续减弱夏季风演变的结果。这种重建与模拟间的不同可能来源于地表过程对气候演变敏感度的区域性差异,也可能来源于粗分辨率模拟所造成的系统性气候偏移。  相似文献

This article aims at discussing the ecological response of the terrestrial and fresh water dependant environments to the installation of arid conditions at the end of the Holocene Humid Period in the Atlantic and Indian monsoon domains. It is mainly focused on dry environments from Chad, Oman and Pakistan where new, high-resolution pollen sequences have been provided. Pollen data show that local hydrological conditions have played a major role in the destruction or survival of tropical tree populations at the end of the Holocene Humid Period, as well as partly explaining the asynchronous pattern of recorded environmental changes in most tropical regions. In desert areas, the response of the fresh water dependant systems to the shift from humid to arid climate conditions appears to have followed a threshold-like pattern. In contrast, terrestrial ecosystems have gradually adapted to increased drought, as shown by the progressive decrease of tropical tree species at Yoa or the gradual expansion in dry plant types in Oman and Pakistan from 6000 cal yrs BP to the present. A remarkable synchroneity in environmental change is recorded at the northern edge of the Atlantic and Indian monsoon systems, with the extreme end of the Holocene Humid Period corresponding to the last occurrence of tropical trees in the desert and the last record of prolonged SW monsoon rainfall over north-western Asia around 4700–4500 cal yrs BP.  相似文献

位于受西风环流显著影响区的我国最大内陆淡水湖——新疆博斯腾湖提供了全新世亚洲中部干旱区气候变化的可靠记录。对该湖钻探岩芯、沉积年代以及孢粉、碳酸盐含量、粒度等代用指标分析结果表明,末次冰消期到全新世早期湖泊干涸,风砂沉积盛行,气候干旱;约8cal.kaB.P.以来现代湖泊形成,气候相对湿润,其中,约6.0~1.5cal.kaB.P.期间代用指标A/C值指示的流域湿度增加,盘星藻指示的湖泊深度最大,全新世最湿润时段发生在中晚全新世。博斯腾湖记录的早全新世干旱和中晚全新世湿润的气候框架得到中亚其他较高分辨率湖泊记录的支持,具有普遍性。亚洲中部西风影响区这一全新世气候变化框架与亚洲季风区早中全新世夏季风强盛、中晚全新世季风衰落的变化模式显著不同,具有近似反相位(out of phase)变化特征。广大中亚内陆干旱区中晚全新世湿润气候不大可能是东亚季风深入内陆造成的,更可能是通过西风环流与高纬度北大西洋相联系,其驱动机制需要更深入研究。  相似文献

研究过去气候快速变化能为当前极端气候分析和未来环境预测提供自然背景理解。亚洲季风在北半球乃至全球的第四纪气候变化中扮演着重要角色,其演化是全球气候变化背景下的典型区域响应。然而,不同地质载体及不同指标所记录的亚洲冬、夏季风变化存在着较大差异,产生差异的原因及受到的动力机制是值得深入研究的科学问题。渭河盆地位于黄土高原和古三门湖沉积交叠的区域,是研究第四纪亚洲季风演化的理想场所。在盆地西南部西安市户县和长安县获取了两个黄土沉积钻孔,户县ZZC孔长4 m,长安县XFC孔长3 m,两孔的年代均超过25 ka。通过两钻孔的粒度和元素地球化学等代用指标研究,对比分析不同指标对气候变化的敏感度差异,反演了末次冰盛期(LGM)以来的区域沉积环境变化,并尝试探讨该时期发生的气候突变事件及反映的季风强度变化。结果表明,两钻孔的平均粒径从LGM到中全新世逐渐变细,中全新世之后少许变粗,空间上表现出一致性,总体反映了末次冰盛期以来的冬季风强度演化;Ca/Ti反映了与季风降水相关的淋溶强度,从LGM到全新世暖期夏季风逐渐减弱,并记录了若干次气候快速变化。粒度和元素比值变化表明,渭河盆地沉积良好地记录了末次冰盛期至全新世的大幅冷干-暖湿波动及若干次持续时间较短的快速水文变化事件,主要是受到太阳辐射和冰量等因素调控的影响。由于渭河盆地有上千米的新生代沉积,未来开展高分辨率研究有望揭示不同时间尺度季风变化特征及其与区域和全球变化的联系。  相似文献

位于青藏高原与黄土高原过渡带的甘肃武都万象洞石笋WXSM51和WXSM52提供了MIS 5(118~79kaB.P.)高分辨率的δ18 O记录。研究表明, 万象洞石笋δ18 O值与夏季风强度呈负相关关系, 与我国西南部的贵州董歌洞石笋δ18 O记录有良好的对应关系, 并与高纬度的格陵兰NGRIP冰芯δ18 O记录和65°N太阳辐射强度有很好的一致性, 说明万象洞石笋δ18 O记录了118~79kaB.P.期间亚洲季风强度的变化, 同时也说明东亚季风强度的变化和全球气候变化同步, 而且主要受控于北半球太阳辐射强度的变化。同时它与地中海碳酸盐记录有很好的相似性, 和巴西石笋δ18 O记录在千年尺度上表现出相反的变化趋势, 说明东亚季风区、地中海地区以及巴西季风区之间存在密切的联系, 指示了南北半球气候在千年尺度上存在"跷跷板"(seesaw)现象。万象洞石笋δ18 O记录的MIS 5b与MIS 5a突发性转换, 与NGRIP冰芯δ18 O记录相似, 而与神农架记录存在差异, 说明万象洞地区对亚洲季风强度的响应更为敏感。  相似文献

Holocene environmental change and environmental archaeology are important components of an international project studying the human-earth interaction system.This paper reviews the progress of Holocene environmental change and environmental archaeology research in the Yangtze River Valley over the last three decades,that includes the evolution of large freshwater lakes.Holocene transgression and sea-level changes,Holocene climate change and East Asian monsoon variation,relationship between the rise and fall of primitive civilizations and environmental changes,cultural interruptions and palaeoflood events,as well as relationship between the origin of agriculture and climate change.These research components are underpinned by the dating of lacustrine sediments,stalagmites and peat to establish a chronology of regional environmental and cultural evolution.Interdisciplinary and other environment proxy indicators need to be used in comparative studies of archaeological site formation and natural sedimentary environment in the upper,middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Valley.Modern technology such as remote sensing,molecular bioarchaeology,and virtual reality,should be integrated with currently used dating,geochemical,sedimentological.and palaeobotanical methods of analysis in environmental archaeology macro- and micro-studies,so as to provide a greater comprehensive insight into Holocene environmental and cultural interaction and change in the Yangtze River Valley area.  相似文献
