分析了影响面波勘探精度的主要因素,针对计算面波相速度的精度问题,讨论了常用测量台间以相速度方法的优缺点及其适用范围,并提出通过测量台间格林函数进行相位校正,以得到两台之间的精解相位。以合成的高频理论地震图作为记录信号,并在理论地震图上叠加了20%的随机噪声,利用这些方法分析理论信号,数字实验表明:在相干频率范围内,格林函数方法能够精确测量台间相速度,而互相关法和窄带通滤波互相关法所得结果较为离散。  相似文献

This study investigates seismic interferometry in which the Green's function is estimated between two receivers by cross-correlation and integration over sources.For smoothly varying source strengths,the dominant contributions of the correlation integral come from the stationary phase directions in the forward and backward directions from the alignment of the two receivers.Gaussian beams can be used to evaluate the correlation integral and concentrate the amplitudes in a vicinity of the stationary phase regions instead of completely relying on phase interference.Several numerical examples are shown to illustrate how this process works.The use of Gaussian beams for the evaluation of the correlation integral results in stable estimates,and also provides physical insight into the estimation of the Green's function based on seismic interferometry.  相似文献

对地震台记录到的长时间的地球背景噪声进行互相关处理,得到的互相关函数可以近似地表征这两个台站之间的格林函数,这种数据处理方法被称为背景噪声干涉.近年来,背景噪声干涉研究在理论和实践上都有了长足进展,并被广泛用于地下波速结构及其演化规律的研究.本文首先简单介绍了背景噪声干涉研究的概念和理论依据,进而重点介绍了针对噪声源性质、互相关函数的波形到时和振幅特性的应用研究.通过对这三个方面研究的回顾,分析总结了该研究领域的新进展及需要解决的问题,并对背景噪声干涉研究的新特点进行了分析和展望.  相似文献

Random field cross‐correlation is a new promising technique for seismic exploration, as it bypasses shortcomings of usual active methods. Seismic noise can be considered as a reproducible, stationary in time, natural source. In the present paper we show why and how cross‐correlation of noise records can be used for geophysical imaging. We discuss the theoretical conditions required to observe the emergence of the Green's functions between two receivers from the cross‐correlation of noise records. We present examples of seismic imaging using reconstructed surface waves from regional to local scales. We also show an application using body waves extracted from records of a small‐scale network. We then introduce a new way to achieve surface wave seismic experiments using cross‐correlation of unsynchronized sources. At a laboratory scale, we demonstrate that body wave extraction may also be used to image buried scatterers. These works show the feasibility of passive imaging from noise cross‐correlation at different scales.  相似文献

We first present a summary of recent results on coda interpretation. We emphasize the observation of the stabilization of P to S energy ratio indicating the modal equipartition of the wavefield. This property clearly shows that the coda waves are in the regime of multiple scattering. Numerical solutions of the elastic radiative transfer equation are used to illustrate the evolution of the wave-field towards P-to-S energy stabilization, and asymptotically to complete isotropy. The energy properties of the coda have been widely studied but the phase properties have often been neglected. The recently observed coherent backscattering enhancement, an expression of the so-called `weak localization', demonstrates that interference effects still persist for multiple diffracted waves. Another manifestation of the persistence of the phase is the possibility to reconstruct the Green function between two stations by averaging the cross correlation of coda waves produced by distant earthquakes and recorded at those two stations. This reconstruction is directly related to the properties of reciprocity and time reversal of any wavefield. Using broadband seismic coda waves, we show that the dominant phases of the Green function in the band 2 s–10 s, namely fundamental mode Rayleigh and Love waves, are reconstructed. We analyze the time symmetry of the cross correlation and show how the level of symmetry evolves with the isotropization of the diffuse field with lapse time. Similarly we investigate the correlation in continuous ambient noise records. Whereas the randomness of the coda results from multiple scattering by randomly distributed scatterers, we assume that the seismic noise is random mostly because of the distribution of sources at the surface of the Earth. Surface waves can be extracted from long time series. The dispersion curves of Rayleigh waves are deduced from the correlations. On paths where measurements from earthquake data are also available, we show that they are in good agreement with those deduced from noise correlation. The measurement of velocities from correlation of noise along paths crossing different crustal structures opens the way for a `passive imaging' of the Earth's structure.  相似文献

对地震台站记录到的长时间背景噪声进行互相关可以得到台站间的格林函数, 进而可以对地下介质波速结构和波速变化进行研究。 对背景噪声来源方向和时空演化规律的分析, 是提高结果可靠性的重要基础。 本文利用分布在云南境内的43个宽频带固定台站2008—2010年的垂直分量记录, 计算了两两台站之间的互相关函数, 并用平均能量流的方法研究了云南地区5~10 s以及10~20 s两个频段内地脉动噪声能量的空间分布和时间演化。 研究结果表明, 云南地区5~10 s的地脉动噪声能量优势方向存在明显的季节性变化, 夏季优势能量方位角为180°~210°, 冬季则为70°~100°。 而10~20 s的地脉动噪声优势方向方位角较为稳定, 为180°~210°。 在这两个频段内噪声能量的强度都表现出了较强的季节性变化。 同时发现在5~10 s频段瑞利面波之前存在视速度接近30 km/s的前驱信号, 并对其可能来源进行了分析。  相似文献

分析了在均匀弹性介质中,分别用解析方法和三维波动有限元数值方法计算无限全空间近场地震动的格林函数的理论与方法。将震源处理分为:(1)计算单一位错点源单位脉冲引起的格林函数;(2)用有限断层模型将断面划分为若干子源并有时间延迟,叠加所有子源的格林函数。本以1994年美国北岭地震为例,用解析法和数值方法分别计算了LV3、PCD、MCN三个场地的格林函数,并进行了对比分析。  相似文献

Long-time cross correlation of ambient noise has been proved as a powerful tool to extract Green's function between two receivers.The study of composition of ambient noise is important for a better understanding of this method.Previous studies confirm that ambient noise in the long period (3 s and longer) mostly consists of surface wave,and 0.25-2.5 s noise consists more of body waves.In this paper,we perform cross correlation processing at much higher frequency (30-70 Hz) using ambient noise recorded by a small aperture array.No surface waves emerge from noise correlation function (NCF),but weak P waves emerge.The absence of surface wave in NCF is not due to high attenuation since surface waves are strong from active source,therefore probably the high ambient noise mostly consists of body wave and lacks surface wave.Origin of such high frequency body waves in ambient noise remains to be studied.  相似文献

利用背景地震噪声提取格林函数,即通过一对台站记录的地震噪声进行互相关计算,来近似台站间的格林函数,并进一步通过地震成像获取地下结构的认识,成为最近跨学科研究的热点问题之一.本文首先叙述了其发展背景及过程,然后分别从四个角度,简要介绍了目前对其物理原理的解释.如果该方法能得到进一步的发展,将不再依赖于天然地震以及人工地震,而仅仅利用地震台站记录的地震噪声便可获取高分辨率的地下成像.该方法将会大大促进地震学的发展.  相似文献

自Aki(1957)提出微震的空间自相关(SPatial AutoCorelation,SPAC)技术以来,SPAC技术一直独立发展,并在工程地震领域获得了广泛应用.近20年来,地震干涉(Seisimic Interferometry,SI)在多个领域引起人们的关注,该技术的核心思想是连续地震背景噪声的互相关函数(Noise Crosscorrelation Function,NCF)可以重建系统的格林函数(Green's Function,GF),对该技术的回溯性研究建立了SPAC和NCF的关系:它们是对同一物理现象的不同描述,SPAC在频率域中描述随机平稳噪声的空间相干,NCF在时间域中描述扩散场的互相关.理论上SAPC和NCF技术要求背景噪声源均匀分布,这样的噪声场可以用平面波叠加来模拟.本文基于平面波模型重访地震背景噪声的互相关和空间自相关技术,从单色平面波的互相关表示出发,对地震背景噪声互相关及空间自相关技术进行评述,试图使这些概念更易于理解.与之前众多研究地震干涉技术的理论相比,本文尤其关注以下几点:(1)基于简单的平面波模型,给出不同维度下,源或台站对方位均匀分布时,平面波互相关对入射波的方位平均和台阵对的方位平均结果,并对格林函数GF和时域互相关函数NCF的关系进行总结.(2)给出声源和(或)交叉台站方位分布不均匀时的互相关表示,指出这种非均匀性对方位的依赖关系,与弱各向异性介质中面波速度的方位依赖关系类似,因此,非均匀源的影响在反演时可能会映射到面波方位各向异性结果中.(3)互相关运算中,哪一个台站是虚拟源.NCF包含因果性和非因果性两部分,NCF的非对称性通常用于研究噪声源的方位分布,但由于源和接收的互易关系,及对互相关运算的不同定义和不同的傅里叶变换习惯,哪一个台站是虚拟源在目前的文献中并不明确.(4)方位平均和时间平均的关系.在SPAC处理中,需要对不同方位分布的台站对进行方位平均,本文从理论上说明,单个平面波入射时,交叉台站互相关系数对台站对的方位平均,等价于单个台站对互相关系数对入射波的时间平均.(5)几种特定分布非均匀噪声源的SPAC表示.包括单独的因果性噪声源和非因果性噪声源给出的互相关函数表示,及由此带来的相移问题.(6)利用SPAC、NCF和面波GF之间的关系,给出交叉分量的空间自相关系数表示.(7)衰减介质的空间相干表示.虽然利用地震干涉技术研究介质衰减在理论上仍然存在一些争议,但人们正试图研究从连续背景噪声记录中提取介质衰减的可能性.本文基于平面波模型,给出了不同坐标选择下,衰减介质的空间相干表示,这种表达的不同,指示了由地震干涉技术提取介质衰减的困难.与众多研究地震干涉的理论相比,比如稳相近似理论、互易定理、时间反转声学等,本文主要考虑均匀介质,不涉及非均匀介质的散射,从最简单的平面波模型,理解背景噪声重建系统格林函数这一地震干涉的核心思想和相应的基本概念.  相似文献

An assertion that the cross-correlation function of seismic noise, considered as a result of the superposition of the surface waves, excited by the sources, randomly distributed over the Earth’s surface, determines the Green function of the surface wave is verified by numerical modeling. The maximum wave periods, for which this assertion is correct, are estimated and the errors in determination of the phase and group velocity of the surface waves are evaluated. The procedure for the determination of the correlation function and estimation from it of the group velocity are tested thoroughly based on the example of the pair of the BJT and TLY stations in Asia. This procedure is used for obtaining the group and phase velocities of the Rayleigh waves on the traces between the OBN-ARU and PUL-ARU stations. The velocity sections of the transverse waves are built based on the dispersion curves of the phase and group velocities of averages along these traces. The region of the lowered velocity in the upper mantle at depths of 150–300 km is revealed on both traces. From the analysis of correlation functions, which are subjected to narrow-band filtering, it is shown that the frequency composition of noise varies from the East and from the West from the profiles between the stations: in the East (Siberia) the noise has an appreciably lower-frequency than in the West (Western Europe).  相似文献

The vertical component of the seismic noise has been recorded in two different sites near the towns of Mercato S. Severino and Benevento in Southern Italy by a small aperture array, in order to investigate the characteristics of the noise propagation and to study the site response. Three different array techniques have been applied in the two investigated sites: Beam Forming, High Resolution and Spatial Correlation methods. We used two simple array geometry for localising possible noise sources and estimating local shallow structure using ambient noise. The cross shaped array results effective for determining the phase velocity of waves in the case when the noise is from a single localised source; the circular array, on the other hand, is successfully used when the noise sources are distributed. The main results are: the analysis of a coherent component of the noise recorded in the two sites, interpreted as Rayleigh waves, results in reasonable velocity models; the noise recorded in the M.S.S. Plain is a space stationary signal, while the noise at the Benevento site is possibly produced by a stable noise source located close to the array. Due to this evidence, the correlation method does not yield satisfactory results when applied to the Benevento site. The 2–6 Hz spectral peaks of the noise recorded in the M.S.S. Plain can be interpreted as due to a site effect, considering the satisfactory agreement of the noise spectrum at those frequencies with the theoretical transfer function computed on the basis of the velocity model deduced from the Rayleigh waves dispersion analysis.  相似文献

The boundary integral equation method(BIEM)is now widely used in numerical studies on earthquake rupture dynamics,and is proved to be a powerful tool to deal with problems on complex fault system.However,since this method heavily lies on the specific forms of Green's function and only the Green's function in full-space has a closed analytic expression,it is usually limited to a full-space medium.In this study,as a first step to extend this method to an arbitrary complex fault system in half-space,the boundary integral equations(BIEs)for dynamic strike-slip on vertical complex fault system in half-space are derived based on exact Green's function for isotropic and homogeneous half-space.Effect of the geometry of the complex fault system are dealt with carefully.Final BIEs is composed of two parts:contribution from full-space,which has been thoroughly investigated by Aochi and his co-workers by using the Green's function for full-space,and that from free surface,which is studied in detail in this study.  相似文献

文中根据自相关函数随机噪声部分的2个重要性质提出了自相关函数随机噪声部分的迭代生成算法,并给出了以确定性自相关函数为目标函数,考虑随机噪声部分影响的人工合成地震动方法.本文的研究结果表明地震动加速度的平方和(SS)比峰值加速度(PGA)更好地量度了地震地面运动强度.文中用蒙特卡罗方法分析了自相关函数噪声项对人工合成地震动幅值和反应谱的影响:由于自相关函数的随机噪声项对地震动总功率或平方和的贡献为0,因此随机噪声项对合成地震动幅值的影响不大,但由于自相关函数随机噪声项明显改变了地震动功率谱在频域上的分布特征,使原本光滑的平均反应谱出现了明显的波动,从而在一定程度上提高了平均反应谱的峰值,使自相关函数噪声部分对平均反应谱也有一些影响.  相似文献

背景噪声中包含有丰富的地球内部结构信息,可以用来监测地震波速度变化.基于墨西哥中部G.UNM和MX.TLIG两个地震台站2016年4月1日至2018年4月1日的连续波形资料,本文首先对其进行不同频带下的背景噪声互相关处理,然后采用小波变换对获取到的互相关函数进行滤波来解决台站间距过长所引起的互相关函数不稳定问题,最后分别通过Stretching方法和MWCS方法测量得到的走时偏移来提取地震波速度变化.结果表明:利用小波变换能有效提高互相关信噪比和结果精度;采用Stretching方法发现震源区浅部5~10 km的地震波速在地震中上升约0.07%,而在2~5 km的地震波速则有约0.05%的下降趋势;MWCS方法计算结果稳定性稍差,但变化趋势与Stretching结果相同.造成该地震波速变化的主要原因可能是2017年地震所引起的脆性岩层结构破裂.  相似文献

本文给出了地面植被电磁散射的半空间模型研究方法.在以往的相关文献中,均采用自由空间格林函数求解单个叶片散射体的散射场,本文利用半空间并矢格林函数求出了单个散射体的散射场,然后运用Monte Carlo方法模拟生成地面植被层,得到了在半空间下植被层的电磁散射特性,计算出了单、双站雷达散射截面,并与自由空间下的散射场做了相互对比.结果表明,在半空间格林函数下得到的散射场更为适用于描述地面植被的电磁散射特性.  相似文献

使用相匹配滤波技术提取基阶面波振型的相位,然后再利用时变滤波进行 振幅谱校正,以此分离出基阶振型面波信号。对合成面波理论地震图的处理结果表 明,该方法可精确地从含高阶(最高阶数为5)的综合地震图中分离出基阶面波,与利 用同一模型合成的基阶面波相比,分离出的基阶面波的振幅谱畸变很小,根据中国数 字化地震台网(CDSN)记录的长周期面波资料,对与震源位于同一大圆弧上的北京。 海拉尔台观测的瑞雷波进行处理,分离出基阶振型信号,然后利用两台的基阶振型信 号进行反褶积得到台间格林函数,由格林函数计算得到台间周期为13~142 s的面 波衰减系数和群速度,所得结果也较为平稳。  相似文献

Topography and severe variations of near‐surface layers lead to travel‐time perturbations for the events in seismic exploration. Usually, these perturbations could be estimated and eliminated by refraction technology. The virtual refraction method is a relatively new technique for retrieval of refraction information from seismic records contaminated by noise. Based on the virtual refraction, this paper proposes super‐virtual refraction interferometry by cross‐correlation to retrieve refraction wavefields by summing the cross‐correlation of raw refraction wavefields and virtual refraction wavefields over all receivers located outside the retrieved source and receiver pair. This method can enhance refraction signal gradually as the source–receiver offset decreases. For further enhancement of refracted waves, a scheme of hybrid virtual refraction wavefields is applied by stacking of correlation‐type and convolution‐type super‐virtual refractions. Our new method does not need any information about the near‐surface velocity model, which can solve the problem of directly unmeasured virtual refraction energy from the virtual source at the surface, and extend the acquisition aperture to its maximum extent in raw seismic records. It can also reduce random noise influence in raw seismic records effectively and improve refracted waves’ signal‐to‐noise ratio by a factor proportional to the square root of the number of receivers positioned at stationary‐phase points, based on the improvement of virtual refraction's signal‐to‐noise ratio. Using results from synthetic and field data, we show that our new method is effective to retrieve refraction information from raw seismic records and improve the accuracy of first‐arrival picks.  相似文献

Seismic interferometry is a relatively new technique to estimate the Green's function between receivers. Spurious energy, not part of the true Green's function, is produced because assumptions are commonly violated when applying seismic interferometry to field data. Instead of attempting to suppress all spurious energy, we show how spurious energy associated with refractions contains information about the subsurface in field data collected at the Boise Hydrogeophysical Research Site. By forming a virtual shot record we suppress uncorrelated noise and produce a virtual refraction that intercepts zero offset at zero time. These two features make the virtual refraction easy to pick, providing an estimate of refractor velocity. To obtain the physical parameters of the layer above the refractor we analyse the cross‐correlation of wavefields recorded at two receivers for all sources. A stationary‐phase point associated with the correlation between the reflected wave and refracted wave from the interface identifies the critical offset. By combining information from the virtual shot record, the correlation gather and the real shot record we determine the seismic velocities of the unsaturated and saturated sands, as well as the variable relative depth to the water‐table. Finally, we discuss how this method can be extended to more complex geologic models.  相似文献
