Cable‐stayed bridges require a careful consideration of the lateral force exerted by the deck on the towers under strong earthquakes. This work explores the seismic response of cable‐stayed bridges with yielding metallic dampers composed of triangular plates that connect the deck with the supports in the transverse direction. A design method based on an equivalent single‐degree of freedom approximation is proposed. This is proved valid for conventional cable‐stayed bridges with 200‐ and 400‐m main spans, but not 600 m. The height of the plates is chosen to (1) achieve a yielding capacity that limits the maximum force transmitted from the deck to the towers, and to (2) control the hysteretic energy that the dampers dissipate by defining their design ductility. In order to select the optimal ductility and the damper configuration, a multi‐objective response factor that accounts for the energy dissipation, peak damper displacement and low‐cycle fatigue is introduced. The design method is applied to cable‐stayed bridges with different spans and deck–support connections. The results show that the dissipation by plastic deformation in the dampers prevents significant damage in the towers of the short‐to‐medium‐span bridges under the extreme seismic actions. However, the transverse response of the towers in the bridge with a 600‐m main span is less sensitive to the dampers. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

位于高烈度区的深水斜拉桥在地震下不仅会受到强震的作用,还会受到附近水体的作用,结构抗震要求高,选择合理的抗震体系非常重要.以云南格巧高速双河特大桥为工程实例,分析动水作用对斜拉桥地震响应的影响及其与地震强度的关系,在此基础上对斜拉桥的纵、横向抗震体系展开研究并给出合理建议.结果表明,动水作用会增大索塔塔底内力和结构整体位移响应,且对剪力的影响最大;动水对结构各响应的放大作用随地震强度增加呈现出增减不一的变化趋势,抗震设计时应分别考虑各级地震下的动水效应;索塔、辅助墩和桥台处均设置黏滞阻尼器等阻尼约束的纵向协同抗震体系能够最有效减小墩、塔底纵向内力及结构纵向位移,建议作为斜拉桥纵向抗震体系; 斜拉桥横向推荐采用索塔处设置固定约束、墩台处设置钢阻尼器等弹塑性约束的组合约束体系,该体系能同时降低墩、塔底横向内力,并有效控制结构整体横向位移响应.  相似文献

在大震或特大震下,黏滞阻尼器可能因某个极限状态的出现而发生破坏。现有在斜拉桥上设置黏滞阻尼器的研究多集中在阻尼器的参数优化上,很少考虑到阻尼器失效对斜拉桥抗震性能的影响。针对这一问题,以某三塔斜拉桥为背景,利用OpenSees平台建立斜拉桥有限元模型和可以考虑承载力及行程极限的黏滞阻尼器模型;分析黏滞阻尼器的阻尼系数和阻尼指数对斜拉桥地震响应的影响,确定阻尼器参数的取值;对不安装阻尼器、安装不考虑极限状态及考虑极限状态阻尼器等多种工况的斜拉桥进行非线性时程分析,对比各工况斜拉桥的地震响应。分析结果表明,在大震下,考虑极限状态阻尼器的耗能能力及减震效果将显著降低;不考虑阻尼器达到极限状态后失效的情况将高估耗能减震设计斜拉桥的抗震能力。  相似文献

近断层地震长周期成分丰富,存在速度大脉冲效应;而大跨度斜拉桥一般采用半漂浮体系或漂浮体系,所以固有频率较低。为了研究大跨度斜拉桥在近断层地震作用下的反应规律及减震措施,利用ANSYS软件分析了某半漂浮体系的大跨斜拉桥在近断层地震作用下的时程响应,并对其减震控制方法进行了探讨。研究表明,大跨度斜拉桥的近断层地震响应随着PGV/PGA值的增大而增大,且增大幅度较大,近场脉冲效应较为显著;对于近断层地震作用,不建议采用塔梁弹性连接装置作为主梁纵漂的减震措施,而采用参数适宜的铅挤压阻尼器和粘滞阻尼器则均能获得很好的减震效果;由于大跨度斜拉桥的近断层地震反应较大,应提高其支座的设计允许位移。  相似文献

This study assesses analytically the effectiveness, feasibility and limitations of elastic and hysteretic damping augmentation devices, such as elastomeric and lead–rubber bearings, with respect to the dynamic and seismic performance of cable-stayed bridges. This type of bridge, which has relatively greater flexibility, is more susceptible to undesirable vibrations due to service and environmental loadings than are conventional bridges. Therefore, damping is a very important property. Supplementary damping devices based on the plastic deformation of lead and steel are proposed at critical zones, such as the deck–abutment and deck–tower connections, to concentrate hysteretic behaviour in these specially designed energy absorbers. Inelastic behaviour in primary structural elements of the bridge can therefore be avoided, assuring the serviceability of these cable-supported bridges. Analytically, three-dimensional modelling is developed for the bridge and the damping devices, including the bridge geometrical large-displacement non-linearity and the local material and geometric non-linearities of the energy dissipation devices. The effects of various modelling and design parameters of the bridge response are also studied, including the properties, modelling accuracy and location of the devices along the bridge superstructure. It is shown that an optimum model of the seismic performance of the bridges with these passive control devices can be obtained by balancing the reduction in forces along the bridge against tolerable displacements. Appropriate locations and hysteretic energy dissipation properties of the devices can achieve a significant reduction in seismic-induced forces, as compared to the case with no dampers added, and relatively better control of displacements. In addition, proper selection of the location of the passive control systems can help redistribute forces along the structure which may provide solutions for retrofitting some existing bridges. However, caution should be exercised in simulating the device response for a reliable bridge structural performance. Moreover, while seismic response of the bridge can be significantly improved with added dampers, their degree of effectiveness also depends on the energy absorption characteristics of the dampers.  相似文献

位于中强以上地震烈度区的大跨斜拉桥结构,如果采用传统的抗震设计方法,通常很难满足结构的抗震设计要求,因此采取一定的减震措施显得非常必要。本文以某一总长为2 088m的大跨双塔双索面斜拉桥为分析算例,对斜拉桥结构的减震设计进行了研究。合理的减震结构体系是取得良好减震效果的前提,通过分析对比,该大跨斜拉桥横向采用局部减震体系最为合理,即只在近塔辅助墩处设置横向粘滞阻尼器,其它塔、墩处采用常规的横向约束方案。为使减震结构得到更好的减震效果,还应对减震装置参数进行优化设计。由于采取了合理的减震结构体系、较优的减震装置参数,使该大跨斜拉桥取得了很好的减震设计效果。  相似文献

The analysis of dynamic responses of cable-stayed bridges subjected to wind and earthquake loads generally considers only the motions of the bridge deck and pylons. The influence of the stay cable vibration on the responses of the bridge is either ignored or considered by approximate procedures. The transverse vibration of the stay cables, which can be significant in some cases, are usually neglected in previous research. In the present study, a new three-node cable element has been developed to model the transverse motions of the cables. The interactions between the cable behavior and the other parts of the bridge superstructure are considered by the concept of dynamic stiffness. The nonlinear effect of the cable caused by its self-weight is included in the formulation. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed model. 以有限元分析理论为基础,结合某大跨度斜拉桥工程实例,利用ANSYS软件建立有限元模型,通过修正后的El Centro波分别考虑横向、竖向及纵向输入,采用时程分析方法对其进行地震反应分析.计算分析表明:考虑几何非线性后,结构的内力和位移响应明显增大,且对主梁和索塔内力与位移的影响程度及规律也不尽相同,须区别对待分析.同时表明该桥抗震性能良好,地震荷载不控制设计.由此得出结论,对于斜拉桥这类柔性体系, 不可忽视结构几何非线性的影响.  相似文献

为探究山区超高墩三塔大跨斜拉桥在地震作用下各关键构件(桥塔、支座、基础和桥墩)的破坏顺序,以在建的贵州平塘特大桥为工程依托,首先基于OPEENSEES软件建立空间有限元模型,然后基于概率理论建立斜拉桥地震易损性模型,最后以混凝土应变和支座相对位移为易损性指标进行增量动力分析,得到各构件易损性曲线,并基于各构件的易损性曲线对此类桥型的构件破坏顺序进行分析。研究表明:横向地震对该斜拉桥造成的破坏程度要大于纵向地震;在纵向地震作用下桥梁结构最易发生破坏的是中塔支座和边塔基础,在横向地震作用下桥梁结构最易发生破坏的是边塔支座和过渡墩基础。  相似文献

以双座串联大跨度斜拉桥-珠海洪鹤大桥为背景,根据桥梁自振特性及场地效应,生成了三组人工波,采用纵向+2/3竖向的地震作用组合输入方式,通过非线性时程分析,系统的研究了粘滞阻尼器对双座串联大跨度斜拉桥减震性能的影响。同时为了确定粘滞阻尼器的最优参数,对粘滞阻尼器的阻尼系数C和速度指数α进行了参数敏感性分析。结果表明:设置纵向粘滞阻尼器能够显著减小双座串联斜拉桥的纵向位移响应,减小主梁在串联处发生碰撞的概率,同时改善主塔塔底结构受力情况,具有良好的耗能减震效果。综合考虑安全性、适用性和经济性等方面,最后给出针对洪鹤大桥的最优粘滞阻尼器参数:速度指数α为0.3,阻尼系数C为3 000kN/(m/s)0.3。  相似文献

通过全桥模型计算结果与单塔模型计算结果的对比,讨论了集中质量在塔上锚固区处堆聚位置,定义了一个结构动力特性和结构地震反应的修正系数,提出了飘浮体系斜拉桥塔纵桥向地震反应计算的单塔模型。多个工程实例的分析结果表明,采用单塔模型的典型误差在15%左右,精度可以满足工程抗震设计的要求,使桥塔的抗震计算得到简化。  相似文献

为完善超长联大跨连续梁桥的减、隔震技术,将负刚度装置引入到超长联大跨隔震连续梁桥中组成新型减、隔震系统,并与黏滞阻尼器-摩擦摆支座组合减震系统进行比较。基于CSiBridge软件建立全桥有限元模型,负刚度装置采用弹性多段线模拟,摩擦摆支座采用双线性恢复力模型,黏滞阻尼器采用Maxwell模型,输入3条地震波进行非线性时程分析,考查两种新型减、隔震系统下桥梁结构的地震反应,探究负刚度系统及黏滞阻尼器系统对超长联大跨连续梁桥地震反应的控制效果。研究结果表明:负刚度装置与黏滞阻尼器均可以有效地减小超长联大跨隔震连续梁桥的支座位移。负刚度装置对桥墩内力反应及梁体加速度反应的控制优于黏滞阻尼器。负刚度装置在超长联大跨连续梁桥地震反应控制中有较好的应用前景。  相似文献

某自锚式钢桁架悬索桥结构主跨408m,采用双层桥面,2根主缆为空间线形布置。本文根据自锚式悬索桥独特的动力特性,提出在悬索桥主梁与过渡墩、辅助墩之间沿横向设置铅挤压阻尼器的消能减震设计方案,以控制悬索桥的横向地震反应。根据风、行车和地震荷载等各种工况可能引起的支座剪力值,提出了铅挤压阻尼器临界滑移荷载值的确定方法。研究表明,同时采用铅挤压阻尼器和粘滞阻尼器的消能减震技术,可以有效地减小悬索桥的横向地震反应,可供工程实践参考。  相似文献

As one of the main load-carrying components of cable-stayed bridges,bridge towers are typically required to remain elastic even when subjected to severe ground motions with a 2%-3%probability of exceedance in 50 years.To fulfill this special requirement imposed by current seismic design codes,reinforcement ratios in the bridge towers have to be kept significantly higher than if limited ductility behavior of the tower is allowed.In addition,since the foundation capacity is closely related to the moment and shear capacities of the bridge tower,a large increase in bridge construction cost for elastically designed cable-stayed bridge is inevitable.To further investigate the possibility of limited ductility bridge tower design strategies,a new 1/20-scale cable-stayed bridge model with H-shaped bridge towers designed according to strong strut-weak tower column design was tested.The shake table experimental results are compared with a previous strong tower column-weak strut designed full bridge model.A comparison of the results show that ductility design with plastic hinges located on tower columns,i.e.,strong strut-weak tower column design,is another effective seismic design strategy that results in only small residual displacement at the top of the tower column,even under very severe earthquake excitations.  相似文献

In this paper, a semi-active control by MR-damper is researched; its purpose is to effectively control vibration of asymmetrical cable-stayed bridges when earthquake is loaded on the type of bridge. For an experimental study, a model of 10.2 m high and 28 m long asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge structure was built being similar to a real one in size and function. A MR damper was also designed in proper size suitable for the control of the model. The experiment was performed in the way in which three piers were fixed on three shaking tables with 30% of El-centro earthquake wave, and a control device was placed on the lower part of its upper deck for horizontal control. As for control algorithms, Lyapunov and Clipped-optimal control algorithms were applied. The effectiveness of the semi-active control with MR damper for the asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge was measured under five control conditions: Un-control, Passive-off, Passive-on, Lyapunov Control, Clipped-optimal Control. The experiment showed that the semi-active control applying Lyapunov and Clipped-optimal algorithms effectively increased controllability almost in double, and decreased displacement 75% compared with the condition of passive-off. Therefore the semi-active method suggested in this paper is proven effective in controlling asymmetrical cable-stayed bridges.  相似文献

为探究超高墩三塔斜拉桥在弹性拉索装置下的减震效果,首先利用SAP2000建立了考虑支座非线性和拉索几何非线性的三维有限元模型;其次基于弹性拉索装置,研究了弹性拉索刚度对三塔斜拉桥地震响应的影响;最后基于数值分析结果并结合某三塔斜拉桥实际工程提出3种减震方案。研究表明:在两边塔塔梁结合处设置弹性拉索可显著减小桥梁在地震作用下的内力和位移响应;提出的方案1(两边塔单根弹性索均为50股,单股刚度均为12000kN/m)、方案2(两边塔单根弹性索均为100股,单股刚度均为10000kN/m)和方案3(15#主塔单根弹性拉索100股,单股刚度10000kN/m;17#主塔单根弹性拉索100股,单股刚度为16000kN/m)相较于无弹性索状态,均可有效降低主塔塔底弯矩、塔底剪力、塔顶位移及主梁纵向位移;相较于方案1,方案2和方案3是更优方案。  相似文献

The Sutong Bridge in China opened to traffic in 2008, and is an arterial connection between the cities of Nantong and Suzhou. It is a cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 1,088 m. Due to a tight construction schedule and lack of suitable seismic devices at the time, fixed supports were installed between the piers and the girder in the transverse direction. As a result, significant transverse seismic forces could occur in the piers and foundations, especially during a return period of a 2500-year earthquake. Therefore, the piers, foundations and fixed bearings had to be designed extraordinarily strong. However, when larger earthquakes occur, the bearings, piers and foundations are still vulnerable. The recent rapid developments in seismic technology and the performance-based design approach offer a better opportunity to optimize the transverse seismic design for the Sutong Bridge piers. The optimized design can be applied to the Sutong Bridge(as a retrofit), as well as other bridges. Seismic design alternatives utilizing viscous fluid dampers(VFD), or friction pendulum sliding bearings(FPSB), or transverse yielding metallic dampers(TYMD) are thoroughly studied in this work, and the results are compared with those from the current condition with fixed transverse supports and a hypothetical condition in which only sliding bearings are provided on top of the piers(the girder can move "freely" in the transverse direction during the earthquake, except for frictional forces of the sliding bearings). Parametric analyses were performed to optimize the design of these proposed seismic devices. From the comparison of the peak bridge responses in these configurations, it was found that both VFD and TYMD are very effective in the reduction of transverse seismic forces in piers, while at the same time keeping the relative transverse displacements between piers and the box girder within acceptable limits. However, compared to VFD, TYMD do not interact with the longitudinal displacements of the girder, and have simpler details and lower initial and maintenance costs. Although the use of FPSB can also reduce seismic forces, it generally causes the transverse relative displacements to be higher than acceptable limits.  相似文献

This paper examines the eigenvalues of multi‐span seismically isolated bridges in which the transverse displacement of the deck at the end abutments is restricted. With this constraint the deck is fully isolated along the longitudinal direction, whereas along the transverse direction the deck is a simple‐supported beam at the end abutments which enjoys concentrated restoring forces from the isolation bearings at the center piers. For moderate long bridges, the first natural period of the bridge is the first longitudinal period, while the first transverse period is the second period, given that the flexural rigidity of the deck along the transverse direction shortens the isolation period offered by the bearings in that direction. This paper shows that for isolated bridges longer than a certain critical length, the first transverse period becomes longer than the first longitudinal period despite the presence of the flexural rigidity of the deck. This critical length depends on whether the bridge is isolated on elastomeric bearings or on spherical sliding bearings. This result is also predicted with established commercially available numerical codes only when several additional nodes are added along the beam elements which are modeling the deck in‐between the bridge piers. On the other hand, this result cannot be captured with the limiting idealization of a beam on continuous distributed springs (beam on Wrinkler foundation)—a finding that has practical significance in design and system identification studies. Finally, the paper shows that the normalized transverse eigenperiods of any finite‐span deck are self‐similar solutions that can be represented by a single master curve and are independent of the longitudinal isolation period or on whether the deck is supported on elastomeric or spherical sliding bearings. 高烈度地震对铁路桥梁安全造成巨大隐患,且次生灾害将引起较大经济损失。该大跨连续梁桥所处地震带正进入活跃期,未来有发生较大规模强烈地震的可能,但桥梁自身不具备高烈度抗震能力,需利用粘滞阻尼器对其进行减震处理。采用斜向设置阻尼器并配合双曲面球型支座,来控制可能发生的纵向和横向地震。通过数值模拟进行阻尼器参数敏感性分析以及减震效果讨论,进而确定其最优设置方案。选取相关参数作为评价指标,对比加设阻尼器前后易损部位的地震响应,确定其在高烈度地震荷载激励下的减震效果。研究结果表明:在液体粘滞阻尼器的作用下,使得各墩协同受力,大大增加了结构的整体性,同时能很好弥补减隔震支座不能很好的控制上部结构位移的缺点,同时能降低罕遇地震力对桥墩的冲击损伤。因此,在高烈度区大跨度桥梁中更有必要设置阻尼器来抗震。  相似文献

为了提高大跨度桥梁的抗震性能水平,基于粘滞阻尼器的结构减震控制技术成为专家学者研究的重点和工程设计人员首先考虑的抗震设防措施。现有成果主要集中在大跨度公路斜拉桥的研究和应用,在山区的非规则高墩钢桁连续梁桥研究的较少。以云南省元江大桥为例,采用Midas/civil建立弹性分析的有限元模型,对元江大桥进行了动力特性分析。采用快速非线性时程分析方法对粘滞阻尼器参数进行了优化分析,并且总结了粘滞阻尼器参数对高墩连续梁桥的减震作用规律。最后,通过有控和无控结构的地震动响应对比分析,评价了安装阻尼器后的结构主控部位的减震效果。结果表明:减震控制提高了结构的安全性。  相似文献
