为了研究近断层地震动速度脉冲及强竖向地震动对风机塔地震响应的影响,以某陆上风电场1.5 MW风机塔为研究对象开展了结构在水平向脉冲型地震动、水平向非脉冲型地震动、水平与竖向地震动组合3种地震输入工况的时程分析。通过3种工况下塔顶位移时程、加速度时程、塔底剪力、弯矩及轴力的对比分析发现:近断层速度脉冲对结构塔顶水平位移、塔顶水平加速度、塔底剪力与弯矩均影响显著;竖向地震动会加大结构的塔顶竖向加速度响应及塔底轴力响应;随着竖向与水平加速度峰值比增大,塔顶竖向加速度响应增大,最大轴力随着峰值比增大而增大,最小轴力随着峰值比增大而减小。此外,增量动力分析表明,采用自接触的有限元模型可以更真实地预测风机塔的失稳破坏机制。  相似文献

Different levels of model sophistication have recently emerged to support seismic risk assessment of bridges, but mostly at the expense of neglecting the influence of vertical ground motions (VGMs). In this paper, the influence of VGMs on bridge seismic response is presented and the results are compared with the case of horizontal‐only excitations. An advanced finite element model that accounts for VGMs is first developed. Then, to investigate the effect of soil–structure interaction (SSI) including liquefaction potential, the same bridge with soil‐foundation and fixed boundary conditions is also analyzed. Results show that the inclusion of the VGMs has a significant influence on the seismic response, especially for the axial force in columns, normal force of bearings, and the vertical deck bending moments. However, VGMs do not have as much influence on the seismic demand of the pile cap displacements or pile maximum axial forces. Also, the significant fluctuation of the column axial force can reduce its shear and flexural capacity, and a heightened reversal of flexural effects may induce damage in the deck. In addition, relative to the fixed base case, SSI effects tend to reduce response quantities for certain ground motions while increasing demands for others. This phenomenon is explained as a function of the frequency content of the ground motions, the shift in natural vertical periods, and the VGM spectral accelerations at higher modes. Moreover, the mechanisms of liquefaction are isolated relative to SSI effects in nonliquefiable soils, revealing the influence of liquefaction on bridge response under VGMs. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

为了研究强震区桥梁跨活动断层时,桩基在地震中的动力响应,以海文大桥为工程背景,利用Midas GTS有限元软件建立其强震区桩-海床岩土体-断层耦合作用的数值模型,研究不同强度(0.20g~0.60g)的50年超越概率为10%的地震波(后文简称5010地震波)作用下,桥梁桩基加速度、位移、弯矩及剪力的动力时程响应特性。结果表明:上部大厚度松散土体对桩身加速度有放大及滤波作用,而基岩对桩身加速度几乎不产生作用;断层上、下盘桩基础的桩顶水平位移随输入地震动强度的增大而增大,但达到振幅的时刻一致;上、下盘桩基础桩顶竖向位移时程响应都在50 s以后产生永久沉降;桩身最大弯矩截面处时程响应均在40 s以后产生永久弯矩;应重点考虑上部覆盖层软硬土体界面和基岩界面的抗弯承载力设计,及桩顶和基岩面附近的抗剪承载力设计;上盘桩基础按桩身加速度、弯矩、桩顶水平位移等动参数控制设计,下盘桩基础按动剪应力控制设计。  相似文献

It is well known that axial force – bending moment interaction (N–M interaction) affects to a large extent the cyclic inelastic behaviour of structural elements, especially columns in framed structures, with reduction in bending capacity and loss of available ductility. A few studies have also shown that significant inelastic axial shortening affects the response of column elements subjected to medium–high levels of axial loads and cyclic bending. This paper is primarily aimed at evaluating the effects of column N–M interaction on the inelastic seismic response of steel frames. By considering the contemporaneous action of vertical loads, due to gravity, and of horizontal seismic excitation, it is shown that the progressive axial shortening of adjacent columns may differ substantially, thus inducing significant relative settlements at the ends of the connecting beams and, then, remarkable amplifications in beam plastic rotations. An evaluation of additional beam plastic rotations induced by column N–M interaction is carried out for real structures by investigating the inelastic response of steel frames designed according to European standards under horizontal and vertical earthquake excitations. 为研究液化场地变截面桩的动力响应,依托翔安大桥实体工程,采用有限元软件,建立变截面桩-土和等截面桩-土相互作用模型,模拟液化场地变截面桩及等截面桩在地震作用下的振动反应,分析在地震作用下变截面位置不同的变截面桩及等截面桩的动力响应特征。结果表明:地震作用下,液化土层不同深度处的孔压比变化规律基本相同,均从0逐渐增大最后趋于稳定;变截面桩的桩身加速度和桩身位移均大于等截面桩,且桩顶加速度峰值出现的时刻均滞后于桩底;在饱和砂土层处,桩身位移变化趋势均较陡;变截面桩的桩身弯矩峰值和桩身剪力峰值均大于等截面桩,且其峰值出现的位置较等截面桩深;地震作用下,变截面桩及等截面桩的弯矩与剪力均在安全范围之内;液化场地变截面梁桥桩基础抗震设计时,应着重分析液化土层与非液化土层分界面以下的抗弯能力设计及液化土层中抗剪能力设计。  相似文献

Near‐fault ground motions are characterized by long‐period horizontal pulses and high values of the ratio between the peak value of the vertical acceleration, PGAV, and the analogous value of the horizontal acceleration, PGAH, which can become critical for base‐isolated (BI) structures. The objective of the present work is to check the effectiveness of the base isolation of framed buildings when using High‐Damping‐Rubber Bearings (HDRBs), taking into consideration the combined effects of the horizontal and vertical components of near‐fault ground motions. To this end, a numerical investigation is carried out with reference to BI reinforced concrete buildings designed according to the European seismic code (Eurocode 8). The design of the test structures is carried out in a high‐risk region considering (besides the gravity loads) the horizontal seismic loads acting alone or in combination with the vertical ones and assuming different values of the ratio between the vertical and horizontal stiffnesses of the HDRBs. The nonlinear seismic analysis is performed using a step‐by‐step procedure based on a two‐parameter implicit integration scheme and an initial‐stress‐like iterative procedure. At each step of the analysis, plastic conditions are checked at the potential critical sections of the girders (i.e. end sections of the sub‐elements in which a girder is discretized) and columns (i.e. end sections), where a bilinear moment–curvature law is adopted; the effect of the axial load on the ultimate bending moment (M‐N interaction) of the columns is also taken into account. The response of an HDRB is simulated by a model with variable stiffness properties in the horizontal and vertical directions, depending on the axial force and lateral deformation, and linear viscous damping. Previous quasi-static cyclic tests of shear walls, which routinely used an incremental lateral displacement test protocol with a constant axial load, failed to reflect the character of moment-shear force interaction of prototype buildings. To study the effect of the moment-shear force interaction on the seismic performance of shear walls, three identical 2-story shear wall specimens with different loading patterns were constructed at 1/2 scale, to represent the lower portion of an 11-story high-rise building, and were tested under reversed cyclic loads. The axial force, shear force and bending moment were simultaneously applied to simulate the effects of gravity loads and earthquake excitations on the prototype. The axial force and bending moment delivered from the upper structure were applied to the top of the specimens by two vertical actuators, and the shear force was applied to the specimens by two horizontal actuators. A mixed force-displacement control test program was adopted to ensure that the bending moment and the lateral shear were increased proportionally. The experimental results show that the moment-shear force interaction had a significant effect on the failure pattern, hysteretic characteristics, ductility and energy dissipation of the specimens. It is recommended that moment-shear force interaction should be considered in the loading condition of RC shear wall substructures cyclic tests.  相似文献

关于埋深对地下结构地震反应的影响的研究对象多见于地下隧道,对地铁车站地震反应受埋深影响变化规律缺乏深入研究。本文基于ANSYS有限元软件,采用改进的简化方法建立三种不同埋深的地铁车站结构有限元模型,以两种基岩波的水平向和竖向地震动作为激励,求解各模型中地铁车站结构重要部位的地震反应。分析不同埋深时地铁车站结构惯性作用、侧面土体和上部土体三个因素对地铁车站地震反应的影响情况。分析结果表明:在双向地震作用下,地铁车站侧壁弯矩、剪力、轴力和中柱轴力随埋深的增加而增加,中柱剪力和弯矩随埋深增加而减少。埋深越深,侧面土体对地铁车站地震反应影响越大;上部土体使中柱轴力不断增加;结构自身的惯性作用对其地震反应的贡献逐渐减小。  相似文献

为了揭示近断层地震作用下上承式钢筋混凝土拱桥的动力响应特点,以西南山区某上承式拱桥为背景,用OpenSEES平台建立了全桥非线性动力分析模型,探讨了近断层地震动的输入方式、脉冲效应和竖向地震动等三个关键因素对桥梁动力响应的影响规律。研究结果表明:地震输入方式对拱圈地震响应的影响较小,但对拱上立柱地震响应的影响很大,尤其是拱顶附近的短立柱,在抗震分析中,建议偏安全地采用三向地震输入方式;脉冲效应对拱桥地震响应的影响非常大,会导致拱圈、拱上立柱和桥面板地震响应大幅增加,桥面板残余平面转角甚至增大6倍以上;竖向地震动对拱圈轴力和面内弯矩、拱上立柱纵向弯矩和剪力的影响很大,拱顶处的面内弯矩放大倍数最大可达2.95,总体来说,采用规范所建议的方法考虑竖向地震是偏保守的。  相似文献

钢管混凝土拱桥由于桥型优美在城市桥梁中得到广泛应用,对某正在设计的5跨连续巾承式钢管混凝土拱桥进行了动力特性和抗震性能分析,根据该桥的结构特点,建立了’该桥的空间有限元分析模型,计算桥梁的自振特性,基于反应谱方法计算了该桥在横向、纵向水平地震反应,计算结果表明:该桥拱肋的面外刚度相对较小,在桥梁振动中首先出现拱肋的面外振动;桥梁的竖向振动表现为拱肋与桥面的整体竖向振动,其基频明显比拱肋面外振动大;主拱肋的轴力由横桥向地震动控制,其他内力由纵桥向地震动控制;地震作用对弯矩的影响较大,故主拱的内力计算应考虑地震力的影响;在设计计算中除常规关键点应作为控制点外,内外拱连接处也应作为控制点。计算结果已为该桥的抗震设计提供了参考。  相似文献

Conventional methods of designing earth structures are based on pseudo-static stability analysis employing a horizontal seismic coefficient. This paper discusses the stability and permanent displacement of a slope subject to combined horizontal and vertical accelerations. A log-spiral failure mechanism is used. It is shown that seismic force has a significant effect on stability and permanent displacement of slopes. The parametric study reveals that vertical acceleration may play an important role on stability and permanent displacement if the corresponding horizontal acceleration is large. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.  相似文献

While many cases of structural damage in past earthquakes have been attributed to strong vertical ground shaking, our understanding of vertical seismic load effects and their influence on collapse mechanisms of buildings is limited. This study quantifies ground motion parameters that are capable of predicting trends in building collapse because of vertical shaking, identifies the types of buildings that are most likely affected by strong vertical ground motions, and investigates the relationship between element level responses and structural collapse under multi‐directional shaking. To do so, two sets of incremental dynamic analyses (IDA) are run on five nonlinear building models of varying height, geometry, and design era. The first IDA is run using the horizontal component alone; the second IDA applies the vertical and horizontal motions simultaneously. When ground motion parameters are considered independently, acceleration‐based measures of the vertical shaking best predict trends in building collapse associated with vertical shaking. When multiple parameters are considered, Housner intensity (SI), computed as a ratio between vertical and horizontal components of a record (SIV/SIH), predicts the significance of vertical shaking for collapse. The building with extensive structural cantilevered members is the most influenced by vertical ground shaking, but all frame structures (with either flexural and shear critical columns) are impacted. Measurements of ground motions during past earthquakes indicate that the vertical acceleration can reach values comparable to horizontal accelerations or may even exceed these accelerations. Furthermore, measurements of structural response show the possibility of significant amplification in the response of bridges in the vertical direction that can be attributed to the vertical component of ground motion. In this study, the relative importance of the vertical component of ground motion on the inelastic response of R/C highway bridges is investigated. Particular emphasis is placed on modelling of the deck and piers to account for complex loading histories under combined vertical and horizontal earthquake motions. Analyses of actual bridges indicate that, in general, the vertical motion will increase the level of response and the amount of damage sustained by a highway bridge. Vertical motion generates fluctuating axial forces in the columns, which cause unstability of the hysteresis loops and increase the ductility demand. Furthermore, vertical motion can generate forces of high magnitude in the abutments and foundations that are not accounted for by the current seismic design guidelines. Thus, it is important to consider this component of the ground motion in the design of highway bridges, especially for those located in regions near seismic faults.  相似文献

The influence of vertical ground motions on the seismic response of highway bridges is not very well understood. Recent studies suggest that vertical ground motions can substantially increase force and moment demands on bridge columns and girders and cannot be overlooked in seismic design of bridge structures. For an evaluation of vertical ground motion effects on the response of single‐bent two‐span highway bridges, a systematic study combining the critical engineering demand parameters (EDPs) and ground motion intensity measures (IMs) is required. Results of a parametric study examining a range of highway bridge configurations subjected to selected sets of horizontal and vertical ground motions are used to determine the structural parameters that are significantly amplified by the vertical excitations. The amplification in these parameters is modeled using simple equations that are functions of horizontal and vertical spectral accelerations at the corresponding horizontal and vertical fundamental periods of the bridge. This paper describes the derivation of seismic demand models developed for typical highway overcrossings by incorporating critical EDPs and combined effects of horizontal and vertical ground motion IMs depending on the type of the parameter and the period of the structure. These models may be used individually as risk‐based design tools to determine the probability of exceeding the critical levels of EDP for pre‐determined levels of ground shaking or may be included explicitly in probabilistic seismic risk assessments. 以北京地铁6号线新华大街站公共区Y型柱地铁车站为工程背景,利用FLAC3D有限差分程序数值模拟分析,研究超浅埋大跨度、高断面、Y形柱地铁车站结构分别在仅输入水平向地震动和同时输入水平向与竖向地震动情况下的地震响应特性。结果表明:(1)与仅输入单向地震动相比,双向地震动耦合作用下车站各测点的峰值加速度和应力值均增大,而相对水平位移减小,且随着输入地震动强度的增加,竖向地震动影响率呈递减趋势;(2)双向地震动作用下,同一工况Y形柱叉支处各测点的竖向位移明显增大,且各测点的竖向位移值较为均匀,而单向水平地震动作用下各测点竖向位移差异较大;(3)与单向水平地震动相比,竖向地震动的输入对各测点间的水平方向地震动特性规律影响较小。  相似文献

根据《兰州轨道交通1号线一期工程地震安全性评价报告》所给出的100年超越概率63%、10%和2%的场地基岩地震加速度时程,利用有限差分软件进行地下隧道硐室的地震反应分析。在模型底部施加基岩地震动,设置监测点监测衬砌结构的弯矩、轴力及剪力随时间的变化过程,得到100年超越概率63%、10%及2%工况下的隧道结构地震响应。结果表明:隧道衬砌结构最大弯矩位于拱顶处,最大轴力位于拱顶和拱底处,最大剪力位于上侧壁或下侧壁处;隧道结构内力随着超越概率的降低而增大;以超越概率63%的结构最大内力为基准值,在超越概率10%和2%时,弯矩分别增大1.2和1.7倍,轴力分别增大1.3和1.5倍,剪力分别增大1.5和2.9倍,增幅最大。这可能预示着隧道结构在强地震动作用下会发生剪切破坏。  相似文献
