In order to meet the needs of work in numerical weather forecast and in numerical simulations for climate change and ocean current, a kind of difference scheme in high precision in the time direction developed from the completely square-conservative difference scheme in explicit way is built by means of the Taylor expansion. A numerical test with 4-wave Rossby-Haurwitz waves on them and an application of them on the monthly mean current the of South China Sea are carried out, from which, it is found that not only do the new schemes have high harmony and approximate precision but also can the time step of the schemes be lengthened and can much computational time be saved. Therefore, they are worth generalizing and applying.  相似文献

大气物理研究所海洋环流模式(IAP OGCM)特点之一是消除“刚盖”近似,引入海面起伏作为模式的预报变量。为此,需设计有效的时间积分方案,以克服模式中所保留的表面重力波对时间步长的苛刻限制。本文给出了适应过程中流场正压和斜压模分解算法。研究表明,把海洋模式适应过程进一步分解为与海面起伏相联系的正压模和与密度不均匀分布相联系的斜压模,用不同的时间步长数值求解,计算效率可提高数倍以上。文中用四层IAP OGCM在北太平洋区域定量地比较了节省计算时间的有效性,并给出数值计算实例。  相似文献

利用有限区域非静力MM5模式, 分析了显式降水方案对于2003年7月4—5日南京暴雨数值模拟的不确定性影响。采用混合方案模拟此次暴雨时, 这种不确定性决定于显式和隐式方案的相互协调性及敏感性; 隐式方案基本决定了雨带的整体的空间分布, 而显式方案对于降水型及降水量起到一定的调节作用, 调节的程度与选择的参数化方案有关; 采用隐式方案Grell和KF2模拟此次暴雨时, 应考虑不同的显式方案对于降水模拟的不确定性的影响。  相似文献

针对一类大气、海洋问题,从算子方程出发,在显式完全平方守恒差分格式的基础上提出两种变时间步长的差分算法,使数值计算更加有效。在人工调节时间步长法中,通过人为控制方程中算子能量变化的办法调整时间步长;在自动调节时间步长法中,通过数值试验自动比较出所构造差分格式稳定性的好坏,将它与泰勒展开法及分解算法进行混合应用,验明了自动调节时间步长法具有综合判断差分格式好坏的功能,并得出一些有意义的结论。  相似文献

Summary A new two-time-level split-explicit time integration scheme for the use in non-hydrostatic compressible modelling is presented. It is demonstrated that the scheme is numerically stable and has a smaller splitting error than other comparable split-explicit schemes. This error is due to the combination of advection and fast-wave terms in the numerical scheme.To outline where the splitting error occurs and how it acts within the splitting mechanism, a short review of existing split-explicit time integration methods is given. An in-depth analysis of the eigenvalues of several two-time-level schemes is performed showing that instabilities are associated with the splitting error term. The term has different signs for forward moving and backward moving waves, causing exponential growing or decaying. This unwanted characteristic is not prevented by a diffusive term in general, but might be counteracted by schemes using an estimate of the fast waves at the midpoint of the time increment.The importance of this fast-waves midpoint estimate leads to the formulation of a class of split-explicit two-time-level schemes. Within this framework any forward-in-time and stable advection scheme might be combined with the fast-waves terms in the splitting algorithm.The new method is implemented in the non-hydrostatic model LM of DWD. Some test cases are presented, indicating that the new scheme has the potential to be used in an operational environment.  相似文献

In this paper,a kind of explicit difference scheme to solve nonlinear evolution equations,perfectly keeping the square conservation by adjusting the time step interval,is constructed,from the comprehensive maintenance of the advantages of the implicit complete square conservative scheme and the explicit instantaneous square conservative scheme.The new schemes are based on the thought of adding a small dissipation,but it is different from the small dissipation method.The dissipative term used in the new schemes is not a simple artificial dissipative term,but a so-called(time) harmonious dissipative term that can compensate for the truncation errors from the dissociation of the time differential term.Therefore,the new schemes may have a high time precision and may acquire a satisfactory effect in numerical tests.  相似文献

综合隐式完全平方守恒差分格式和显式瞬时平方守恒差分格式的优点,针对一类非线性发展方程构造了一种通过自动调节时间步长来保持平方守恒性的显式差分格式。它基于加小耗散的思想,但又与小耗散法有所不同。本文取的耗散项不是一般的人工耗散,而是取能够弥补由于时间离散所产生的截断误差的所谓(时间)协调耗散。因此,该格式具有较高的时间精度。在数值试验中,该类格式可取得满意的效果。  相似文献

In this paper, the coupling schemes of atmosphere-ocean climate models are discussed with one-dimensional advection equations. The convergence and stability for synchronous and asynchronous schemes are demonstrated and compared. Conclusions inferred from the analysis are given below. The synchronous scheme as well as the asynchronous-implicit scheme in this model are stable for arbitrary integrating time intervals. The asynchronous explicit scheme is unstable under certain conditions, which depend upon advection velocities and heat exchange parameters in the atmosphere and oceans. With both synchronous and asynchronous stable schemes the discrete solutions converge to their unique exact ones. Advections in the atmosphere and ocean accelerate the rate of convergence of the asynchronous-implicit scheme. It is suggusted that the asynchronous-implicit coupling scheme is a stable and efficient method for most climatic simulations.  相似文献

JFNK(Jacobian-free Newton-Krylov)方法是由Newton迭代方法和Krylov子空间迭代方法构成的嵌套迭代方法。作者以全隐式差分的一维非线性平流方程(亦称无粘Burgers方程)探讨采用全隐式格式计算的必要性和JFNK方法的有效性。模拟结果表明, 隐式结果比显式和半隐式结果在稳定度和精度方面较大的优越性, 特别是模拟气流强的系统以及要素空间分布具有较大梯度的系统。  相似文献

【摘 要】本文把一大类大气、海洋方程归结为一种发展方程,具体构造了若干定时间步长的显式完全平方守恒差分格式。并证明在一定条件下,这类格式也具有能量守恒、“广义能量”守恒和“平均尺度”守恒的特性,它表明这类格式具有较好的计算稳定性和省时性。文中还探讨了显式平方守恒格式与隐式平方守恒格式之间的密切联系。最后给出了令人满意的用四波的R-H波作数值检验的结果。  相似文献

在交错网格的情况下,构造了一类不需解Riemann问题的求解三维双曲守恒律的二阶显式差分格式,证明了该格式在CFL(Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy)条件限制下为MmB(Maximum and minimum Bounds)格式,进行了并行计算数值试验,得到的试验结果令人满意。在交错网格的情况下构造的这类差分格式,不需要求解Riemann问题,不需要进行特征分解,可用于求解弱双曲方程组,计算快、编程简便。  相似文献

The non-linear terms in the non-linear mixed spectral finite difference (NLMSFD) model are evaluated by a simple yet more efficient method. The explicit expressions for the non-linear terms, which can number O(100), are no longer required. The improved algorithm results in source code of smaller size, faster execution time, and provides a more reliable way to evaluate the non-linear terms. Results from numerical experiments have shown that this approach is particularly useful in higher-order turbulence closure schemes.  相似文献

通常的显式平流差分格式,如迎风格式,Lax-Wendroff格式等,均是有条件稳定的,其稳定条件与差分网格的时、空步长有关。本文对线性和拟线性平流方程分别构造了一种计算稳定性好的显式差分格式。对前一格式,本文严格证明了它的无条件稳定性及收敛性,并具有一阶精度;对后一格式,由于非线性方程的限制,本文用数值试验研究了它的计算稳定性。  相似文献

分析了新一代非静力中尺度数值模式中常用的三阶龙格-库塔时间分裂显式算法(RK3)的稳定性和误差性质,特别是分析了空间中央差分和迎风偏斜两种不同情况下该算法不同的稳定性和误差性质。运用数学软件先进的符号计算功能,分析了该算法涉及的复杂高阶、高次幂振幅矩阵的特征值性质;并通过一维线性声波-平流方程组的数值模拟实验,检验了时间分裂算法的模拟效果。对振幅矩阵特征值模的表达式进行高阶的级数展开,得到了该算法的分裂误差项的公式;而且,由于特征值模的公式保留了较高阶项,可以同时分析迎风偏斜和中央差两种空间差分格式的分裂误差性质。根据分裂误差项公式,定量地比较了三阶和二阶龙格-库塔格式(RK2)的分裂误差大小以及误差与小时间步数的关系,发现迎风格式RK3的分裂误差明显小于RK2的误差,并具有更好的稳定性质。空间中央差格式的分裂误差项具有更高阶数,比迎风格式具有更小的时间分裂误差。对于各种不同波长的特征值分析和采用中央差格式的数值模拟,也进一步证实空间差分采用中央差时,RK3时间分裂显式算法在不同方向传播的声波振幅几乎没有差别。另外,误差公式以及数值试验结果说明RK3的分裂误差也略小于Adams-Bashforth-Moulton分裂显式法的分裂误差。  相似文献

利用美国中尺度数值模式WRF,选取两个局地(QNSE、MYJ)闭合和两个非局地(YSU、ACM2)闭合的边界层参数化方案对台风“莎莉嘉”(2016)进行了4组模拟试验,结果表明,不同边界层方案对台风路径影响较小,但对台风强度和结构有明显的影响,就本个例研究而言,非局地闭合边界层方案明显优于局地闭合边界层方案。台风强度的差异是热力和动力共同作用的影响。局地闭合方案模拟的地表焓通量、水汽通量和动量通量更大,台风偏强;局地闭合方案模拟的边界层高度更高、边界层顶的夹卷过程更强、垂直混合更强、台风暖心结构更强,从而台风也更强。台风强度的差异和台风结构的变化密切相关。   相似文献

Some Splitting Methods for Equations of Geophysical Fluid Dynamics   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In this paper, equations of atmospheric and oceanic dynamics are reduced to a kind of evolutionary equation in operator form, based on which a conclusion that the separability of motion stages is relative is made and an issue that the tractional splitting methods established on the physical separability of the fast stage and the slow stage neglect the interaction between the two stages to some extent is shown. Also, three splitting patterns are summed up from the splitting methods in common use so that a comparison between them is carried out. The comparison shows that only the improved splitting pattern (ISP) can be in second order and keep the interaction well. Finally, the applications of some splitting methods on numerical simulations of typhoon tracks made clear that ISP owns the best effect and can save more than 80% CPU time.  相似文献
