在交错网格的情况下,构造了一类不需解Riemann问题的求解三维双曲守恒律的二阶显式差分格式,证明了该格式在CFL(Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy)条件限制下为MmB(Maximum and minimum Bounds)格式,进行了并行计算数值试验,得到的试验结果令人满意。在交错网格的情况下构造的这类差分格式,不需要求解Riemann问题,不需要进行特征分解,可用于求解弱双曲方程组,计算快、编程简便。  相似文献

把无粘流中能成功捕捉接触间断的反扩散差分格式,用在了准地转二维理想锋生的数值模拟中,并将计算结果与Cullen的计算结果和半地转方程的精确解进行了比较。用反扩散格式模拟的锋面较Cullen的结果更加显,而且更接近半地转方程的精确解。  相似文献

核函数的误差(简称KFE)是引起反演方程数值解不稳定的基本原因,也是物理反演法用于气象卫星多波段定量资料业务反演和判释的主要障碍。为了探索KFE和反演问题非适定性的内在联系,本文使用改进的Bayes和ТИХОНОВ-TWOMEY调整算法,根据不同的核函数宽度、待估参数的验前信息协方差矩阵,以及NOAA-7卫星的辐射率测值,通过求解设计的两个统计模式,初步地估计了KFE对温度廓线反演精度的影响,并对KFE在反演解中引起的系统和随机误差作了分析,为具体求解这类反演问题的完全解提供了可能性。  相似文献

传统的高阶精度有限差分格式通常是在均匀网格的基础上推导得到的,在非均匀网格的情况下它会出现精度退化的问题。基于泰勒展开方法构造了一种适用于非均匀网格的2阶、4阶和6阶精度中央有限差分方案,利用Burgers方程和一维平流方程对新方案的性能进行测试,着重分析新方案对其误差大小及分布形态的改进效果。数值模拟结果表明:在非均匀网格下,提高差分方案的精度可明显减小数值解误差(降低了70%~88%),特别是当差分精度从2阶提高到4阶的时候。同时,高阶精度方案在梯度变化较大或者网格距较粗区域的模拟结果更有优势,4阶和6阶精度方案在以上区域的误差远小于2阶精度方案。方案可用于提高数值天气预报模式中非均匀分层模式的垂直差分计算精度。   相似文献

本文建立了求解三维扩散方程的数值模式,以经过处理地形影响经连续方程调整模式计算得到的三维风场和实测铅直湍流扩散系数作为输入,模拟了沿海城市秦皇岛地区海陆风演变过程中空气污染物(SO_2)浓度的时空分布(x-y和y-z两个剖面)。模式的数值求解,在水平方向采用伪谱方法,铅直方向采用上游格式和六点格式,对三维扩散方程运用分步求解的数值方法,用计算所得的地面SO_2浓度分布和实测值比较,一致性相当好。显示在早晨和傍晚出现极大值,午后出现极小值。计算所得的日平均浓度与实测结果相比,也相当吻合。分析表明,本文所建模式行之有效,且数值计算稳定性表现良好。  相似文献

首先介绍了近年来新发展的非线性方程全隐式数值求解的JFNK方法,及其在地球流体力学方面应用计算实例.可看到,无论在计算精度还是计算效率方面,全隐式数值求解远远超过常规的半隐式计算格式.其次,还讨论了JFNK方法在气象非静力模式中应用方案,并提出了用静力假定和半隐式差分格式来构造预条件处理器,变三维求解为二维求解,简化了方程组求解难度.该方案不仅可用于差分模式,也为用譜方法求解非静力模式提供可能.  相似文献

本文所使用的中尺度模式MM4改进了水汽平流的计算精度,引入了Prather和Bott两种高精度正定闰流差分格式。首先探讨了仅考虑模式平流过程的情况下不同平流差分格式的误差特征对模式结果的可能影响。结果显示:MM4中原有的水汽平流差分格式在水汽梯度较大处产生水汽负值,而引入搞精度格式能正确模拟水汽为分布的特征,对不同精度的水汽平流分格式作了数值试验,不同格式下模式的低突急流结构有较明显差别,水汽输送  相似文献

本文提出了一种用于双向套网格模式的变格距差分计算方案。该方案在不同格距的网格区采用不同精度的差分格式,它自然地连接粗细网格,避免了一般套网格方案在粗细网格相重合点上进行的重复计算。用解析法和数值试验证明了:它与其它一些变格距差分格式相比,对短波的穿透能力有明显改进,虚假的反射也较小。应用该方案建立了正压原始方程双向套网格模式,并采用空间分解和时间分解计算方法。这不仅使二维问题转化为二个一维问题,而且二维套网格也可简化为一维均匀网格和一维套网格两部分,从而使计算和程序简化。用理想场为初值所做的一系列数值试验表明,该模式中的波可以自由进出粗细网格区,计算稳定。最后,还用该模式做了台风路径预报试验,给出了一些试验结果。  相似文献

We address the inverse problem of source reconstruction for the difficult case of multiple sources when the number of sources is unknown a priori. The problem is solved using a Bayesian probabilistic inferential framework in which Bayesian probability theory is used to derive the posterior probability density function for the number of sources and for the parameters (e.g., location, emission rate, release time and duration) that characterize each source. A mapping (source–receptor relationship) that relates a multiple source distribution to the concentration measurements made by an array of detectors is formulated based on a forward-time Lagrangian stochastic model. A computationally efficient methodology for determination of the likelihood function for the problem, based on an adjoint representation of the source–receptor relationship and realized in terms of a backward-time Lagrangian stochastic model, is described. An efficient computational algorithm based on a parallel tempered Metropolis-coupled reversible-jump Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method is formulated and implemented to draw samples from the posterior probability density function of the source parameters. This methodology allows the MCMC method to initiate jumps between the hypothesis spaces corresponding to different numbers of sources in the source distribution and, thereby, allows a sample from the full joint posterior distribution of the number of sources and the parameters for each source to be obtained. The proposed methodology for source reconstruction is tested using synthetic concentration data generated for cases involving two and three unknown sources.  相似文献

This paper reviews theory and measurements of transport processes between small particles and the surrounding gas. Evaporation and condensation coefficients and gas uptake coefficients are of particular interest. There has long been a great difference in coefficients reported by different experimentalists, and much of this disagreement is considered in this overview. A brief review of the kinetic theory of gases is provided to describe molecular transport to or from a surface when the mean free path of molecules, , is large compared with the particle dimensions, that is, when the Knudsen number is large. For a sphere of radius a the Knudsen number, Kn =  / a. The condition Kn >> 1 is called the free molecule regime, and for Kn << 1 continuum theory applies. It is shown that accommodation coefficients cannot be determined by experiments operating in the continuum regime. At intermediate Knudsen numbers (the Knudsen regime) transport theory is more difficult, but results based on solution of the Boltzmann equation describing the evolution of the molecular velocity distribution are reviewed. With the advent of high-speed computers transport theory has been supplemented by molecular dynamics calculations, and these calculations are often at odds with experimental measurements of accommodation coefficients. Examples are provided.Experimental methods surveyed include Knudsen cell methods, jet tensimetry, electrodynamic levitation experiments, expansion cloud chamber measurements, and vibrating orifice aerosol generator (VOAG) techniques. VOAG measurements are particularly useful for studying processes over small times, and theory and results related to VOAG experiments are presented. More recent experimental measurements of condensation coefficients involving the use of molecular beams are reported. There is a growing body of evidence that accommodation coefficients are of order unity in many cases, but coefficients smaller than 0.01 are still reported, particularly for uptake coefficients.  相似文献

The dependence of results from coarse-resolution models of the North Atlantic circulation on the numerical advection algorithm is studied. In particular, the sensitivity of parameters relevant for climate simulations as e.g., meridional transport of mass and heat and main thermocline thickness is investigated. Three algorithms were considered: (a) a central difference scheme with constant values for horizontal and vertical diffusion, (b) an upstream scheme with no explicit diffusion, and (c) a flux-corrected transport (FCT) scheme with constant and strictly isopycnal diffusion. The temporal evolution of the three models on time scales of centuries is markedly different, the upstream scheme resulting in much shorter adjustment time whereas the central difference scheme is slower and controlled by vertical diffusion rather than advection. In the steady state, the main thermocline structure is much less diffusive in the FCT calculation which also has much lower heat transport. Both horizontal circulation and overturning in the meridional-vertical plane are strongest in the upstream-model. The results are discussed in terms of the effective vertical (diapycnal) mixing in the different models. A significant increase in vertical resolution would be required to eliminate the high sensitivity due to the numerical algorithms, and allow physically motivated mixing formulations to become effective.This paper was presented at the International Conference on Modelling of Global Climate Change and Variability, held in Hamburg 11–15 September 1989 under the auspices of the Meteorological Institute of the University of Hamburg and the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology. The heat and mass transfer coefficients for exchange across the fluid dynamic boundary layer over tree leaves were simultaneously determined in a controlled environment chamber. The mass transfer coefficients were calculated from measured values of evaporation, air specific humidity and a value of leaf specific humidity at leaf temperature. The heat transfer coefficients were calculated from measured values of air temperature, leaf temperature and an estimate of the sensible heat flux density calculated as the measured net radiation at the leaf surfaces minus the latent heat flux density. The experiments described in this paper indicate that the equations based on laminar boundary-layer theory can give reasonable estimates of the transfer coefficients of real tree leaves for the velocities most commonly experienced in plant canopies, if they are adjusted by a constant multiplier greater than one. Calculations of local mass transfer coefficients based on temperature measurements at three locations at different distances from the leading edge of the leaves, indicate that the deviation from theory is probably the result of transition to turbulent boundary-layer flow at some distance from the leading edge.  相似文献

针对数值预报中产生误差的两个来源提出了数值预报中存在着两类反问题。并在一维的非线性平流扩散方程上,用共轭方程的解法对提出的两类反问题作出了理想场的数值试验。试验结果表明,这种解反问题的方法非常有效。它利用"观测资料"所包含的时间演变的信息确定出了方程的初值或方程中误差订正项的空间分布状况。而且无论对"观测资料"的超定还是欠定都能得出较有意义的结果。因而有很大的利用前景。  相似文献

Three recent experiments allow evaluation of the bulk transfer coefficients for momentum, water vapour and sensible heat over water bodies of different sizes. As part of a study of evaporation rates from a swamp, measurements of latent and sensible heat fluxes were made over Lake Wyangan in southern N.S.W., Australia. This lake is of several kilometers diameter. In a later experiment, Reynolds stress and sensible heat transfer were measured from a natural-gas platform standing in Bass Strait, south of mainland Australia. The most recent experiment involved the direct measurement of each of these turbulent fluxes from a fixed tower erected in Lake Michigan, U.S.A.Perhaps the most important of the results is the finding that drag coefficients measured over Bass Strait are not significantly different from those over Lake Michigan, despite the obvious differences in depth, fetch, and hence surface wave structure. At both locations, drag coefficients are found to increase slightly with increasing wind speed, while at low wind speeds they are not significantly different from those corresponding to aerodynamic smoothness.Near-neutral bulk transfer coefficients for sensible heat and for water vapour are found to be similar. An average value of about 1.4 × 10–3 is obtained.It is emphasized that stability effects should be considered in any discussion of drag coefficients or bulk transfer coefficients. Large errors can result if near-neutrality is incorrectly assumed.  相似文献

It is essential to learn the temporal and spatial concentration distributions and variations of seeding agents in cloud seeding of precipitation enhancement. A three–dimensional puff trajectory model incorporating a mesoscale nonhydrostatic model has been formulated, and is applied to simulating the transporting and diffusive characteristics of multiple line sources of seeding agents within super–cooled stratus. Several important factors are taken into consideration that affect the diffusion of seeding materials such as effects of topography and vertical wind shear, temporal and spatial variation of seeding parameters and wet deposition. The particles of seeding agents are assumed to be almost inert, they have no interaction with the particles of the cloud or precipitation except that they are washed out by precipitation. The model validity is demonstrated by the analyses and comparisons of model results, and checked by the sensitivity experiments of diffusive coefficients and atmospheric stratification. The advantage of this model includes not only its exact reflection of heterogeneity and unsteadiness of background fields, but also its good simulation of transport and diffusion of multiple line sources. The horizontal diffusion rate and the horizontal transport distance have been proposed that they usually were difficult to obtain in other models. In this simulation the horizontal diffusion rate is 0.82 m s−1 for average of one hour, and the horizontal average transport distance reaches 65 km after 1 h, which are closely related to the background fields.  相似文献
