海洋冷水团是海洋学家关注多年的问题 ,其监测方法亟待解决。本文将简正波波数层析法用于冷水团监测 ,并对简正波波数层析用于反演黄海冷水团声速剖面进行了数值模拟。数值模拟结果表明 ,简正波波数层析可以用于反演平均声速剖面 ,特别在监测与距离有关海洋环境的声速结构方面大有潜力。  相似文献

Physical characterization of core samples recovered from Gulf of Mexico   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
Seventy whole rounds from conventional cores obtained during drilling to 300 mbsf at Atwater Valley and Keathley Canyon in the Gulf of Mexico in April and May 2005 were tested to determine geophysical and geomechanical parameters (liquid and plastic limit, porosity, specific surface, pH, sediment electrical conductivity, P- and S-wave velocities and undrained shear strength). Available data from a pressure core are included as well. Results show that the sediments are high specific surface plastic clays, and exhibit pronounced time-dependent stiffness recovery. Strains during coring disturb specimens, yet, the water content retains the effective stress history and permits gaining stiffness and strength information from conventional cores. Remolding is exacerbated when gas expands upon decompression; the limited pressure core data available show the advantages of preserving the pore fluid pressure during core recovery and testing. Valuable parameters for sediment characterization and engineering analysis are extracted from the data using pre-existing soil models.  相似文献

The flexible riser top connection is a critical region for lifetime assessment due to large tension/curvature variations and modeling uncertainties. The bend stiffener polyurethane mechanical response not only presents a nonlinear loading rate and temperature dependency but is also subjected to weather ageing during operation, which may affect its mechanical behavior over time. The top tension, employed for riser local cross-section stress calculation, is usually obtained from global dynamic analyses performed under selected environmental conditions, if direct measurement is not available. As a consequence, both the bend stiffener effect on the curvature distribution and the top tension time series present inherent uncertainties for riser lifetime (re)assessment. In the present work, a proposed monitoring approach composed by gyrometers installed along flexible riser/bend stiffener top connection system length combined with an inverse problem methodology is numerically investigated to estimate the following parameters: (i) polyurethane hyperelastic response and (ii) effective top tension. The top connection system is modeled using a large deflection beam bending model and the parameters are estimated using a damped least-square minimization approach with the Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm. For the preliminary feasibility investigation, the gyrometer experimental data is numerically estimated through Monte Carlo simulations. A case study is carried out to investigate the influence that the number of sensors, sensors arrangement, loading conditions and top connection model have on the inverse parameters estimation. The results indicate that the proposed monitoring approach and inverse parameter estimation methodology may effectively reduce flexible riser lifetime calculation uncertainties.  相似文献

The interactions of cnoidal waves with a submerged quartercircular breakwater are investigated by a Reynolds-Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) flow solver with a Volume of Fluid (VOF) surface capturing scheme (RANS-VOF) model. The vertical variation of the instantaneous velocity indicates that flow separation occurs at the boundary layer near the breakwater. The temporal evolution of the velocity and vorticity fields demonstrates vortex generation and shedding around the submerged quartercircular breakwater due to the flow separation. An empirical relationship between the vortex intensity and a few hydrodynamic parameters is proposed based on parametric analysis. In addition, the instantaneous and time-averaged vorticity fields reveal a pair of vortices of opposite signs at the breakwater which are expected to have significant effect on sediment entrainment, suspension, and transportation, therefore, scour on the leeside of the breakwater.  相似文献

The paper examines the variability of wave overtopping parameters predicted by numerical models based on non-linear shallow water equations, due to the boundary conditions obtained from wave energy density spectra. Free surface elevation time series at the boundary are generated using the principle of linear superposition of the spectral components. The components' phases are assumed to be random, making it possible to generate an infinite number of offshore boundary conditions from only one spectrum.A reference case was provided by carrying out overtopping tests on a simple concrete structure in a wave flume. Numerical tests using the measured free surface elevation at the toe of the structure were carried out. Three parameters were analysed throughout the paper: the overtopping discharge, the probability of overtopping and the maximum overtopping volume. These showed very good agreement between the numerical solver prediction and the overtopping measurements. Subsequently, the measured spectra at the toe were used to generate a population of reconstructed offshore boundary time series for each test, following a Monte Carlo approach. A sensitivity analysis determined that 500 tests were suitable to perform a statistical analysis on the predicted overtopping parameters. Results of these tests show that the variability in the predicted parameters is higher for the smaller number of overtopping waves in the modelled range and decreases significantly as overtopping becomes more frequent. The characteristics of the distributions of the predictions have been studied. The average value of the three parameters has been compared with the measurements. Although the accuracy is lower than that achieved by the model when the measured time series are used at the boundary, the prediction is still fairly accurate above all for the highest overtopping discharges. The distribution of the modelled probability of overtopping was found to follow a normal distribution, while the maximum value follows a GEV one. The overtopping discharge shows a more complex behaviour, values in the middle of the tested range follow a Weibull distribution, while a normal distribution describes the top end of the range better.Results indicate that when the probability of overtopping is smaller than 5%, a sensitivity analysis on the seeding of the offshore boundary conditions is recommended.  相似文献

In this work a method for estimating parameters of practical ship manoeuvring models based on the combination of RANSE computations and System Identification procedure is investigated, considering as test case a rather slender twin screw and two rudders ship. The approach consists in the estimation of the hydrodynamic coefficients applying System Identification to a set of free running manoeuvres obtained from an in-house unsteady RANS equations solver, which substitute the usually adopted experimental tests at model or full scale. In this alternative procedure the numerical quasi-trials (in terms of kinematic parameters time histories and, if needed, forces time histories) are used as input for the System Identification procedure; the aim of this approach is to reduce external disturbances that, if not properly considered in the mathematical model, may compromise the identification results, or at least amplify the well-known “cancellation effects”. Furthermore, the CFD results provide information both in terms of flow field variables and hydrodynamic forces on the manoeuvring ship. These data may be adopted for a better understanding of the complex flow during manoeuvres, especially at stern, providing also additional information about the interaction between the various appendages (including rudders) and the hull. The identification procedure is based on an off-line genetic algorithm used for minimizing the discrepancy between the reference manoeuvres from CFD and those simulated with the system based modular model. The discrepancy was measured considering different metric functions and simplified formulations which consider only the main macroscopic parameters of the manoeuvre; the metrics have been analyzed in terms of their capability in reproducing the time histories and in limiting the cancellation effect of the hydrodynamic derivatives.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new approach of firefly algorithm based on opposition-based learning (OBFA) to enhance the global search ability of the original algorithm. The new algorithm employs opposition based learning concept to generate initial population and also updating agents’ positions. The proposed OBFA is applied for minimization of the factor of safety and search for critical failure surface in slope stability analysis. The numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the new algorithm.  相似文献

A fully nonlinear domain decomposed solver is proposed for efficient computations of wave loads on surface piercing structures in the time domain. A fully nonlinear potential flow solver was combined with a fully nonlinear Navier–Stokes/VOF solver via generalized coupling zones of arbitrary shape. Sensitivity tests of the extent of the inner Navier–Stokes/VOF domain were carried out. Numerical computations of wave loads on surface piercing circular cylinders at intermediate water depths are presented. Four different test cases of increasing complexity were considered; 1) weakly nonlinear regular waves on a sloping bed, 2) phase-focused irregular waves on a flat bed, 3) irregular waves on a sloping bed and 4) multidirectional irregular waves on a sloping bed. For all cases, the free surface elevation and the inline force were successfully compared against experimental measurements.  相似文献

随着海上风能的开发向深水发展,支撑风机的载体平台越来越受到关注。在经济性与安全性、稳定性的多重要求下,张力腿平台(TLP)在海洋风能资源的开发中体现出了重要地位。采用基于开源平台OpenFOAM开发的计算流体动力学(CFD)水动力学求解器naoe-FOAM-SJTU对一座处于中等水深下的风机基础水下TLP(STLP)的运动响应进行了数值模拟与研究。文中使用弹簧锚链模型模拟STLP的垂向系泊锁链系统,模拟该平台在不同波浪环境下的运动响应情况。首先将STLP单自由度自由衰减CFD模拟结果与已有全耦合时域分析结果进行对比,验证了naoe-FOAM-SJTU求解器及使用弹簧模型模拟STLP系泊系统的准确性与可靠性。随后在考虑非线性波浪载荷的情况下研究极端海况下与一般作业海况下STLP的运动响应情况,计算工况中的风机基础所受弯矩及锚链受力情况,并详细展示流场、速度场信息,分析高阶波浪成分、不同海况等条件对于STLP运动性能的影响。研究结果表明,TLP在中等水深中具有良好的运动性能,naoe-FOAM-SJTU求解器可以有效模拟水中生产平台在波浪环境下的水动力问题,并可以对整个流场进行可视化展示与分析。  相似文献

The determination of optimal values for three parameters required in the original particle swarm optimization algorithm is very difficult.It is proposed that two new parameters simulating the harmony search strategy can be adopted instead of the three parameters which are required in the original particle swarm optimization algorithm to update the positions of all the particles.The improved particle swarm optimization is used in the location of the critical slip surface of soil slope,and it is found that the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is insensitive to the two parameters while the original particle swarm optimization algorithm can be sensitive to its three parameters.  相似文献

When horizontal jet grouting is conducted in fine-grained soils, the injection of large volumes of fluid with high injection pressure into the ground may cause ground surface upheaval and the lateral movement of subsoil. This paper provides a numerical approach to calculate the ground displacement caused by installing a horizontal column based on determination of the influencing radius of injection pressure and the volumetric expansion strain caused by fluid injection. During the course of this study, the relationship between the influencing radius, column radius, volumetric expansion strain, and jetting parameters is established. The proposed numerical approach is applied to analyze a case history conducted in Shanghai soft soil deposits, which include the monitoring of vertical displacement of the ground surface and lateral displacement of the subsoil during construction. A comparison of the results between the simulated values with the Mohr Coulomb model and field data demonstrates that the numerical approach can yield a reasonable prediction of these field measurements when the influencing radius is six times the radius of the column. The influence range of the horizontal jet grouting activity is also discussed by numerical analysis with respect to two soil models (the Mohr Coulomb model and the hardening soil model).  相似文献

The investigation of complex geological setting is still dominated by traditional geo-data collection and analytical techniques, e.g., stratigraphic logging, dip data measurements, structural ground mapping, seismic interpretation, balance section restoration, forward modelling, etc. Despite the advantages of improving our understanding in structural geometry and fault architecture, the geospatial modelling, applying computer-aided three-dimensional geometric design, visualization and interpretation, has rarely been applied to such complex geological setting. This study used the Lenghu fold-and-thrust belt (in Qaidam basin, NE Tibetan Plateau) to demonstrate that the application of geospatial and geomechanical modelling could improve our understanding and provide an effective technique for investigating the fault architecture and strain distribution. The three-dimensional configuration of the Lenghu fold-and-thrust belt was initially derived from traditional analysis techniques, such as regional stratigraphic logging, cross section construction, meso-scale ground mapping and landsat image interpretation. The high-resolution field data and landsat image were integrated to construct the geospatial model, which was subsequently used to quantitatively investigate the fault throw changes along the Lenghu thrust fault zone and to understand its control on the lateral structural variation. The geospatial model was then restored in three dimensions to reveal the kinematic evolution of the Lenghu fold-and-thrust belt. Geomechanical modelling, using a Mass-Spring algorithm, provided an effective three-dimensional tool for structural strain analysis, which was used to predict the strain distribution throughout the overall structure, e.g., normal faults with throws ranging from meters to tens of meters in the hanging-wall. The strain distribution predicted by geomechanical modelling was then validated by the natural normal faults in the hanging-wall. The high accordance between the strain prediction and statistics of natural normal faults demonstrates good applicability of geospatial and geomechanical modelling in the complex geological setting of the Lenghu fold-and-thrust belt. The geospatial models and geomechanical models, therefore, can provide a robust technique for analyzing and interpreting multi-source data within a three-dimensional environment. We anticipate that the application of three-dimensional geospatial modelling and geomechanical modelling, integrating both multi-source geologic data and three-dimensional analytical techniques, can provide an effective workflow for investigating the fault architecture and strain distribution at different scales (e.g., ranging from regional-to meso-scale).  相似文献

绿潮面积信息提取是绿潮遥感监测中极其重要的环节,其结果将直接影响后续的统计分析和预测预警工作。目前科研人员一般基于传统阈值方法对绿潮面积信息进行提取,其提取结果具有不稳定、效率低、人为因素影响大等缺点。针对上述问题,本文基于变分水平集的对偶方法和分裂Bregman投影方法对绿潮面积信息进行了提取,并提出一种对上述两种方法提取出的绿潮面积信息结果进行量化的新方法。分别基于传统阈值方法、变分水平集的对偶方法和分裂Bregman投影方法进行了3幅影像的绿潮信息提取实验,对提取结果进行了比对分析。实验结果表明,对分辨率较高的卫星遥感数据,无论从运行效率还是从绿潮面积信息提取结果的精确性及稳定性上,基于变分水平集的对偶方法和分裂Bregman投影方法均优于基于传统阈值方法。  相似文献

采用声学多普勒流速仪(ADV)和多点测波仪的实验资料,对分段式造波机生成的多向随机波浪进行方向谱分析.结果表明,分段式造波机生成的多向随机波浪的时间平稳性优于空间均匀性;贝叶斯方法(BDM)适合于流速实验资料和阵列波浪资料的方向谱分析,给出的方向谱满足随机波浪的内禀性质(如光滑性、连续性等);流速资料和阵列波浪资料给出的方向谱具有相当的精度,但与测速的深度有关;三参量(如三点波浪、两个方向的速度分量和一点波浪等)可给出具有相当精度的方向谱;给出了衡量方向谱精度的初步标准.  相似文献

A combined wind and wave energy converter concept, named STC concept was proposed. Model tests were performed in terms of operational and survival modes. Water entry and exit phenomena as well as green water on deck were observed during the survivability model tests. In this paper, a nonlinear numerical model based on a blended station-keeping potential-flow solver with a local impact solution for bottom slamming events and an approximated model for the water shipped on the deck is proposed to simulate these nonlinear phenomena. Physical investigation of the water entry and exit process was firstly carried out and uncertainty analysis of the model test results were performed. Numerical comparisons between the nonlinear solver and model test results are then performed in terms of mean, wave frequency and double wave frequency motion response components. The slamming and green water involved in the water entry process are specially investigated, in terms of the physical evolution and the effects on the dynamic motion responses. The validation work on the occurrence of slamming and water on deck as well as the slamming pressure are performed.  相似文献

合成孔径雷达在海洋环境监测和海洋研究中扮演着越来越重要的角色。受其成像机制的影响,合成孔径雷达图像总是受到斑点噪声的污染。斑点噪声的存在会增大目标识别、跟踪和分类的难度,也会降低雷达信号的信噪比。合成孔径雷达海洋图像具有一些特殊的性质:海洋现象在雷达图像中主要呈现为条带状或斑块状的结构。这些条带状或斑块状的结构呈现出高度的自相似性或信息冗余。非局部平均方法能够衡量图像中不同图像块之间纹理结构的相似性,并利用图像的自相似性对图像进行去噪。但非局部平均去燥方法存在计算量巨大、计算耗时长的缺点,这几乎限制了其实际应用。本文采用一种自适应方法将雷达图像中的像素点区分为纹理区像素点和平坦区像素点。对纹理区像素点,采用较大的相似窗和搜索窗,对平坦区像素点,采用较小的相似窗和搜索窗,从而提高计算速度。进一步,本文基于计算统一设备并行架构(CUDA)技术,利用计算机图形处理器(GPU)对前述算法进行并行加速。与经典非局部平均算法相比,加速后算法的计算效率提高了200倍。  相似文献

As water depth increases, the structural safety and reliability of a system become more and more important and challenging. Therefore, the structural reliability method must be applied in ocean engineering design such as offshore platform design. If the performance function is known in structural reliability analysis, the first-order second-moment method is often used. If the performance function could not be definitely expressed, the response surface method is always used because it has a very clear train of thought and simple progranuning. However, the traditional response surface method fits the response surface of quadratic polynomials where the problem of accuracy could not be solved, because the true limit state surface can be fitted well only in the area near the checking point. In this paper, an intelligent computing method based on the whole response surface is proposed, which can be used for the situation where the performance function could not be definitely expressed in structural reliability analysis. In this method, a response surface of the fuzzy noural network for the whole area should be constructed first, and then the structural reliability can be calculated by the genetic algorithm. In the proposed method, all the sample points for the training network come from the whole area, so the true limit state surface in the whole area can be fitted. Through calculational examples and comparative analysis, it can be known that the proposed method is much better than the traditional response surface method of quadratic polynomials, because, the amount of calculation of finite element analysis is largely reduced, the accuracy of calculation is improved, and the true limit state surface can be fitted very well in the whole area. So, the method proposed in this paper is suitable for engineering application.  相似文献

Achieving a reliable and accurate numerical prediction of the self-propulsion performance of a ship is still an open problem that poses some relevant issues. Several CFD methods, ranging from boundary element methods (BEM) to higher-fidelity viscous Reynolds averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) based solvers, can be used to accurately analyze the separate problems, i.e. the open water propeller and the hull calm water resistance. However, when the fully-coupled self-propulsion problem is considered, i.e. the hull advancing at uniform speed propelled by its own propulsion system, several complexities rise up. Typical flow simplifications adopted to speed-up the simulations of the single analysis (hull and propeller separately) lose their validity requiring a more complex solver to tackle the fully-coupled problem. The complexity rises up further when considering a maneuver condition. This aspect increases the computational burden and, consequently, the required time which becomes prohibitive in a preliminary ship design stage.The majority of the simplified methods proposed in literature to include propeller effects, without directly solve the propeller flow, in a high-fidelity viscous solver are not able to provide all the commonly required self-propulsion coefficients. In this work, a new method to enrich the results from a body force based approach is proposed and investigated, with the aim to reduce as much as possible the computational burden without losing any useful result. This procedure is tested for validation on the KCS hull form in self-propulsion and maneuver conditions.  相似文献

表面氯离子含量(C_s)是研究海洋环境条件下混凝土结构耐久性和服役寿命的氯离子扩散方程的边界条件,是海洋混凝土结构耐久性分析和定量设计的重要参数。依据国内外大量自然暴露试验与工程实测数据,通过采用Excel、Origin等数据分析软件进行数据统计和回归分析,确定了海洋混凝土结构表面自由氯离子含量(C_(sf))与表面总氯离子含量(C_(st))之间的相互关系,探讨了海洋混凝土结构的C_(sf)时变规律,建立了C_(sf)与暴露时间之间的关系表达式及其取值范围,并运用可靠度理论和修正氯离子扩散理论分析了C_(sf)时变性对海洋混凝土结构寿命的影响。结果表明:C_(sf)与C_(st)线性相关,且C_(sf)随着暴露时间的延长呈指数或者幂函数的增长关系;采用不同的C_(sf)时变性规律,对海洋混凝土结构寿命具有重大的影响。  相似文献
