The paper presents a conceptual design of an underwater star wars’ system, which will be more difficult to detect by the enemy than a recently proposed ‘surface’ star wars’ system.The paper suggests that for the proposed structures needed for the underwater star wars’ system, the material of construction should be a composite and not a metal, as use of the latter for large deep diving underwater vessels will result in such structures sinking to the bottom of the ocean like stones, due to the fact that they will have no reserve buoyancy. The paper also shows that composites have better sound absorption characteristics, thereby making the underwater structures difficult to detect through sonar equipment. It is proposed that these underwater structures should operate up to a depth of 7.16 miles (11.52 km), as at this depth, all of the oceans’ bottoms can be reached.The author shows that current technology can be used to construct and operate such vessels, but more progress needs to be made with metal matrix and ceramic composites, so that the hulls of underwater missiles and torpedoes can be constructed in these materials.  相似文献

The water piercing missile launcher (WPML) is a new concept for launching missiles from submerged platforms. The WPML employs a high speed gas jet, using rocket exhaust as the gas source, to create a dry path underwater through which a missile may pass without contacting water. The gas jet is deflected due to cross flow and the gas jet trajectory is computed through a semi-empirical relationship commonly used to describe single phase jet deflection. This relationship, which requires an experimentally determined constant to predict jet deflection, is computed using experimental data. Uncoupled simulations of rocket exhaust and missile dynamics are shown to demonstrate how such a launcher could be utilized in launching a generic artillery missile. Although the results indicate the optimal launch depth, in terms of maximizing the launch depth while minimizing missile restraint time, is 14 m given an 8 m/s submarine speed it may be possible to launch a missile from a moving submarine at a speed of 5 m/s at a maximum depth of 20 m.  相似文献

针对采用传统海洋测量手段难以获取危险及争议海区的水深和水下碍航物信息,提出了基于卫星遥感进行水深反演和水下碍航物探测的新思路。探讨了多光谱遥感水深反演的数据预处理方法、遥感水深反演模型的构建及水下碍航物遥感探测方法,并开展了相应的实验验证。实验表明,采用卫星遥感手段可以快速地获取测量船只不易到达海区的水深和水下碍航物信息,研究成果对海洋测绘技术的发展具有一定的指导意义和应用价值。  相似文献

The purpose of the current study is to introduce a set of mobile underwater positioning systems (MUPS) that will enable non-offshore vessels to execute underwater missions. Besides mobility, the system would also possess the advantage of having to use fewer acoustic instruments than conventional acoustic positioning systems. The method adopted by the system will involve the use of expendable and multi-functional bathythermographs (XBT) to measure the underwater acoustic speed and the depth of water at the same time. Then it must utilize the geometric relations formed by measuring the position of underwater targets at set intervals during navigation. In addition, since sound does not travel in a straight line when underwater, the iteration and convergence method must be used to perform corrections on the transmission speed and positional errors to obtain an accurate coordinate of the underwater target. After simulation testing, the positioning system established by the current study has proven to be fast in converging the error values along with high positioning accuracy of the system. The results of the study indicate that the MUPS built by the research institute can be utilized on a vessel, and will be very helpful in assisting the management of urgent underwater positioning missions.  相似文献

An underwater optical instrument, the Lighfish, measures near-surface irradiance reflectance in six spectral channels while it is towed from a research vessel at a depth of a few metres. The detectors are configured such that all downward-looking detectors observe the same instrument shadow. Effects of self-shading are negligible for waters and wavelengths having absorption coefficients less than 0.3 m−1. Variance in the derived spectral reflectance ratios is shown to be significantly reduced compared with that in single channel irradiance measurements. The instrument can be used to develop remote sensing algorithms as well as for other oceanographic applications.  相似文献

科考船定点作业时会受到海洋风、涌、浪、流等外界环境因素影响,导致工作效率降低,原位测量精度下降,甚至影响作业安全。动力定位系统 (DP) 具有自动定位功能,能够抵抗外界环境因素的影响,可实现科考船高精度定点控位。 单波束测深仪不仅可以测量水深,也可反映水下设备深度信息,可以起到辅助监控水下设备功能。本文在介绍定点作业施工现状与局限性的基础上,分析 DP 系统与单波束测深仪工作原理,以“向阳红 01”船为载体,在定点作业时开启 DP 系统与单波束测深仪,发现该方法可以提高科考船定点作业工作效率、原位测量精度并保障作业安全,可为其他科考船定点作业提供参考。  相似文献

This paper presents fatigue characteristic analysis of a deepwater steel catenary riser (SCR) under ambient excitations. The SCR involves complex nonlinear dynamic behaviors, especially at the touchdown point (TOP) where the riser first touches the seafloor. Owing to the significant interaction with soil, the touchdown zone is difficult to be modeled. Based on Lumped-Mass method and P-y curve, nonlinear springs are used to simulate the SCR-seabed coupled interaction. In case studies, an SCR's dynamic features have been obtained by transient analysis and the structure fatigue assessment has been carried out by S-N approach. The comparative analysis shows that the TOP is the key location where soil-riser interaction rises steeply and minimum fatigue life occurs. Parameters such as ocean environment loads, vessel motions, riser material and geometric parameters are discussed. The results indicate that the vessel motion is the principal factor for the structure fatigue lite distribution.  相似文献

水下弹道是潜艇垂直发射导弹特有的一段弹道,导弹在航行过程中受到表层海水自然流动的影响,运动姿态发生复杂变化,其中,以海浪的影响最为明显。根据二维线性波理论在发射坐标系下建立了波浪模型,通过莫里森方程分析了海浪对水下垂直运动导弹的作用形式,建立了导弹水中运动数学模型,借助有限元思想,在Matlab/Simulink环境下仿真分析了不同航向和浪级下导弹水中运动姿态的变化规律,结论可为研究潜射导弹水中弹道提供参考和依据。  相似文献

推导了海洋条件下目标-背景对比度的计算公式,根据辐射传输方程,采用Eddington近似方法求解,建立了海洋条件下目标-背景对比度的表达公式。计算并分析了太阳高度、观测者角度、海水体衰减系数及目标所处深度对目标-背景对比度的影响。文中得出如下结论:垂直方向侦查时,太阳高度角在40°左右条件下的目标-背景对比度最大,最容易侦查到水下目标;目标-背景对比度随目标所在深度增大而减小,随海洋体衰减系数的增加而降低;太阳高度角为90°、观测者天顶角余弦在0.8~0.9范围时的目标-背景对比度存在较大尖峰值。研究结果为光学探测水下目标及水下航行器反光学探测提供理论支撑。  相似文献

Low-frequency electromagnetic methods are used in geophysical exploration to detect the magnetic field distortion between a transmitter and receiver produced by locally conductive bodies. Both ground and airborne systems are in current use. It is possible to similarly conduct underwater geophysical exploration by using an underwater towed source of electromagnetic radiation and a receiving magnetic or electric field detector. The receiver can be towed on an auxiliary cable, mounted on a boom on the towing platform, or land based. An underwater towed electromagnetic source suitable for ocean-bottom exploration has been constructed, and its underwater propagation characteristics at low frequency have been studied. This underwater calibrated source (UCS) is 4 m long, weighs 383 kg in air, and can produce vertical and horizontal magnetic dipoles and a horizontal electric dipole. Powered by a current-feedback-controlled, high-power, modified sonar amplifier, the UCS can produce 9710 ampereturn.m2 of magnetic dipole or 200 A.m of electric dipole at 50 A at frequencies up to 200 Hz without significant attenuation from coil inductance. This paper concentrates on the mechanical, hydrodynamic, and magnetic design details of the UCS and the electrical system, consisting of the high-current drive power system and the shipboard monitoring system for attitude and depth detectors.  相似文献

储层沉积微相是影响储层非均质性的重要因素之一,准确预测储层沉积微相分布对认识储层非均质性、提高油田油气采收率具有重要意义.储层随机建模方法具有很强的地质适用性,合理选择随机建模方法能够有效提高模型精度.以东濮凹陷濮城油田沙三中亚段6-10水下扇油藏为例,由于水下扇沉积储层微相具有几何构型及空间分布复杂的特点,选择序贯指示建模可以对不同微相采用不同变差函数来表征其空间分布结构特征,从而再现储层微相复杂的空间分布.通过定义沟道吻合程度参数Mat对模拟实现进行检验,抽稀井沟道吻合程度参数Mat平均值达到84.7%,表明建模结果具有较高的准确度.序贯指示建模适合于建立水下扇储层沉积微相模型.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of simultaneous depth tracking and attitude control of an underwater towed vehicle. The system proposed uses a two-stage towing arrangement that includes a long primary cable, a gravitic depressor, and a secondary cable. The towfish motion induced by wave driven disturbances in both the vertical and horizontal planes is described using an empirical model of the depressor motion and a spring-damper model of the secondary cable. A nonlinear, Lyapunov-based, adaptive output feedback control law is designed and shown to regulate pitch, yaw, and depth tracking errors to zero. The controller is designed to operate in the presence of plant parameter uncertainty. When subjected to bounded external disturbances, the tracking errors converge to a neighbourhood of the origin that can be made arbitrarily small. In the implementation proposed, a nonlinear observer is used to estimate the linear velocities used by the controller thus dispensing with the need for costly sensor suites. The results obtained with computer simulations show that the controlled system exhibits good performance about different operating conditions when subjected to sea-wave driven disturbances and in the presence of sensor noise. The system holds promise for application in oceanographic missions that require depth tracking or bottom-following combined with precise vehicle attitude control.  相似文献

High-pile and beam-slab quays have been widely used after several years development. They are mature enough to be one of the most important structural types of wharves in China coastal areas. In order to accommodate large tonnage vessels, wharves should be eorrstructed in deep water gradually. However, conventional high-pile and beam-slab structares are hard to meet the requirements of large deep-water wharf. According to arch' s stress characteristics, a new type of wharf with catenary arched longitudinal beams is presented in this paper. The new wharf structure can make full use of arch's overhead crossing and reinforced concrete compression resistance, improve the interval between transverse bents greatly, and decrease underwater construction quantity. Thus, the construction cost cab be reduced. Take the third phase project of the Yangshan Deep-water Port for example, comparative analysis on catenary arched longitudinal beams and conventional longitudinal beams has been made. The result shows that with the same wharf length and width, the same loads and same longitudinal beam moment, catenary arch structure can improve the interval between bents up to 28 m, decrease the nmnber of piles and underwater construction quantity.  相似文献

结合声波射线传播规律提出了双曲面模型水声定位的数据模拟方法。利用该方法模拟一定浮标网形下声源位于某区域约2 000m水深处10km×10km范围内的声线双曲面模型定位观测数据,进行定位解算,并将截止角的概念引入水声定位中。定位结果显示,大部分区域水下DGPS定位系统的外符合定位精度在水平方向优于5m,垂直方向优于10m;网形中间区域精度较高,三维定位精度为亚米级。引入角度限制后,定位区域内外符合定位精度水平方向优于1m,垂直方向优于4m。  相似文献
