The death which occurred in juvenile population was a severe problem in the course ofPinctada maxima artificial culture. With the methods of field investigation, histological study and statistic analyses, the epidemiological study was carried out on the disease and death in juvenile populations of Pinctada maxima in the Xinying Pearl Oyster Mariculture Farm of Lingao County (for the A, B and C batches of cultured juveniles hanged in the sea) and the Xincun Pearl Oyster Mariculture Farm of Lingshui County (for the D batch of cultured juvenile hanged in the pond), Hainan Province from November 1993 to April 1995.The results show that the deaths which occurred in juvenile populations of Pinctada maxima presented an outbreak pattern. The peak of mortality rates, in general, occurred in 4-to 6-month old pearl oyster juveniles, and the mortality rates gradully declined with the extention of pearl oyster age after cul-turing 8 months. In this study, we assess coral health by detecting the severity of coral diseases and compromised health states on massive Porites. Field surveys are conducted at twenty-two sites covering the eastern, inner and western Gulf of Thailand as well as the Andaman Sea during 2010-2015. A total of nine coral diseases and signs of compromised health are observed in the waters of Thailand, consisting of pigmentation responses (pink lines, pink patches, pink spots and pink borers), white syndromes (white patches, white bands and ulcerative white spots), growth anomalies, and unusual bleaching patterns. The highest severity of all observed coral diseases and signs of compromised health are found at Ko Khang Khao in the inner Gulf of Thailand, while that observed in the Andaman Sea is relatively low. Composition of the diseases vary across the study sites. Four groups of study sites, in which there is an 80% similarity of diseases or signs of compromised health composition, are clustered and detected based on the Bray-Curtis similarity. The canonical analysis of principal coordinates reveal that most study sites in the Gulf of Thailand, especially the inner Gulf of Thailand, tend to show a high severity of the diseases. The association of disease severity and composition and the level of human impact are also detected. The study sites located near the shores and/or the areas with intensive tourism tend to have higher human impact, especially on poor water quality, which may be linked to the higher severity and composition of coral diseases and signs of compromised health in the Gulf of Thailand. Fish bites are also observed in many study sites. The severity of fish bites in the Gulf of Thailand is much lower compared to the Andaman Sea. Ko Rawi exhibits the highest severity, following by Ko Surin Nua and Ko Butang. The study sites within marine national park boundaries have a significantly higher severity of fish bites than those outside of the marine national park boundaries. This study suggests that higher coral diseases and signs of compromised health severity might be linked to anthropogenic disturbances on coral communities in the waters of Thailand.  相似文献

Marine ecosystems provide a wide variety of diverse habitats that frequently promote migration and ecological adaptation. The extent to which the geographic distribution of marine organism has reshaped by human activities remains underappreciated. The limitations intrinsic to morphology-based identification systems have engendered an urgent need for reliable genetic methods that enable the unequivocal recognition of fish species,particularly those that are prone to overexploitation and/or market substitution. In the present study, however, an attempt has been taken to identify two locally adapted fish species, Siganus sutor(Valenciennes, 1835) and Seriolina nigrofasciata(Rüppell, 1829) of order Perciformes, which happens to be the first record in Odisha coast,Bay of Bengal. The diagnostic characteristics of Siganus sutor are: dorsal fin XIII-10, anal fin VII-9, pectoral fin 15,pelvic fin II-3, while that of Seriolina nigrofasciata dorsal fin VI-I-35, anal fin I-17, pectoral fin 16, pelvic fin 5. All COI barcodes generated in this study were matched with reference sequences of expected species, according to morphological identification. Bayesian and likelihood phylogenetic trees were drawn based on DNA barcodes and all the specimens clustered in agreement with their taxonomic classification at the species level. The phylogeographic studies based on haplotype network and migration rates suggest that both the species were not panmitic and the high-frequency population distribution indicates successful migration. The result of this study provides an important validation of the use of DNA barcode sequences for monitoring species diversity and changes within a complex marine ecosystem.  相似文献

Vypeen, an island of Cochin estuarine system, acts as the spawning site of several marine and estuarine fishes. We assumed that, physical process(upwelling) make changes in hydrography and the production of chlorophyll a in coastal waters off Vypeen. These alterations can influence the zooplankton abundance and copepod community structure in that area. For justifying this hypothesis, samples were collected from Vypeen at 10 m and 30 m locations during January(pre-southwest monsoon), August(late-southwest monsoon) and November(postsouthwest monsoon) 2014. During August, subsurface water column was cool, nutrient rich and less oxygenated(signatures of upwelling) than in November and January. Maximum concentrations of nitrate and chlorophyll a were recorded during August. In the present study, 15 zooplankton groups were recorded; of which copepods were the most predominant group(73%–90%). Copepod density in the present study ranged between 527.2 ind./m~3 and 5 139.2 ind./m~3. Totally, 37 copepods species were reported in present study and copepod species richness was higher during January. The abundance of zooplankton and copepods was high in August during late-southwest monsoon. These variations were closely associated with the coastal upwelling in August and weakening of moderate upwelling in November. In SIMPER analysis, it was found that the copepods species distribution was similar within season and dissimilar between the three seasons. Moreover, the higher abundance of upwelling indicator species Temora turbinata was recorded in August, which confirms the signs of seasonal upwelling in Vypeen. The present study emphasized on the influence of hydrographical parameters associated with physical process, in governing the copepod community organization of the Vypeen Island.  相似文献

Abstract-Based on the research of juvenile (2, 3, 4 months) growth and survival of three popu-lations of two different geographic areas in Chlamys farreri from Russian and China and their F_1 hybridsderived from Chinese cultural population (CC)×Russian population (RW), Chinese wild popu-lation (CW)×Russian population (RW), Russian population (RW)×Chinese wild popula-tion (CW), the study of the medium-term (6, 8, 10, 12 months) growth and development ofChlamys farreri was carried out. The four determined results indicated that there existed different ex-tent heterosis (3%~52%) for the growth in three types of F_1 hybrids, and the offspring derived fromCC×R had a stronger heterosis among the crosses at the medium-term; the uptrend among traitsare wet weight>shell width>shell length>shell height, Chinese cultural population could be recog-nized as excellent parent, and seasonal variations influence very much on the daily increment and growthrate of each trait of Chlamys farreri and it is only able to  相似文献

Seagrass beds degraded significantly since the last century on both, global and local scale. The seagrass species Enhalus acoroides (Linnaeus f.) Royle is a common species found in almost all marine ecosystems including bays, lagoons and around offshore islands in tropical regions of the West Pacific. It was shown that genetic diversity is an essential indicator of the conditions of ecosystems. In the present study, microsatellite markers were used to assess the genetic diversity and population structure of six distinct seagrass beds along the coast of the Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. The results indicate that the genetic diversity of the populations in the open sea is higher than in the lagoon. Seagrass beds occurring in disturbed sites show reduced genetic diversity. The fixing index value (FST) depicts a relatively high genetic structure among populations. Structure analysis clusters the populations into open sea and lagoon populations and cluster analysis and AMOVA indicate a significant difference between the two groups. There are low but non-significant positive correlations between geographic and genetic distances. The different habitats of the open sea and the lagoon are probably responsible for forming two groups.  相似文献

- Measuring multi-directional waves with the wave gauge array is one of the fundamental and easily realised methods. In this paper, the wave gauge array is described and the effects of the gauge spacing, the array orientations, etc. of the three array arrangements, i. e., linear array, T-type array and pentagon array, on the resolution of the directional spreading of waves, are investigated experimentally. Ocean current forecasting is still in explorative stage of study. In the study, we face some problems that have not been met before. The solving of these problems has become fundamental premise for realizing the ocean current forecasting. In the present paper are discussed in depth the physical essence for such basic problems as the predictability of ocean current, the predictable currents, the dynamical basis for studying respectively the tidal current and circulation, the necessity of boundary model, the models on regions with different scales and their link. The foundations and plans to solve the problems are demonstrated. Finally a set of operational numerical forecasting system for ocean current is proposed.  相似文献

Abstract-The growth rate of the hyalid amphipod Hyale perieri was studied on the bases of Ikeda'sgrowth model which is based on the inter moult period (IP) and moult increament (ΔBL). To applythis approach, laboratory experiments were carried out at three temperatures regimes (15℃, 20℃,25℃) to gain accurate data of IP and BL. The total number of specimens used in this study was 86 at15℃, 24 at 20℃ and 70 at 25℃. The number of flagellar segments of both antennae of the Hyaleperieri could not be used as an index of growth (instar criterion). The obtained results indicated that,the predicted IP of the specimens was inversely related to temperature and in good agreement with theobserved values at the experimental temperatures. IP data obtained from laboratory-reared specimes arecombined with ΔBL data to establish a growth model for Hyale perieri from its release from the mar-supium (1.64 mm BL) to the maximum size (12.67 mm BL) as a function of temperature. 对流行病学分析显示大珠母贝幼虫群体的死亡是以暴发性方式发生,从胚胎发育前期至变态期,幼虫存在两个死亡高峰,分别位于壳顶期之前或壳顶期和壳顶后期.大珠母贝幼虫群体的死亡率与RLO感染之间存在显著的相关性,在RLO感染的高峰之后均相应伴随幼虫群体死亡率的高峰,随着RLO感染率和感染强度的降低,幼虫群体死亡率也明显降低.在TEM下未发现未受精卵母细胞、受精卵和胚胎早期幼虫感染RLO,最先出现RLO包涵体阳性感染的时期为24h尚未摄食的D形期幼虫,故认为RLO可能不是通过垂直传播,而是通过外界接触感染的方式感染宿主,贝体感染至发病死亡存在潜伏期.  相似文献

大珠母贝人工养殖过程中,幼贝死亡是一个严重的问题。1993年11月至1995年5月,采用现场调查、实验室研究和数理分析相结合的方法,在海南省临高县新盈珍珠贝养殖场自然海区吊养的A,B,C3批养殖贝和陵水新村珍珠贝养殖场养殖池吊养的D批养殖贝的发病和死亡情况进行了流行病学凋查.结果显示,大珠母贝幼贝群体的死亡是以暴发性方式发生,幼贝群体的大批量死亡高峰一般发生在4~6月龄期,8个月以后随着龄期的延长,死亡率显著降低.幼贝群体死亡率与贝体平均体长的关系是4cm以下的贝体死亡率较高,1~3cm阶段处于死亡高峰期内,5cm以上的贝体死亡率显著降低.大珠母贝幼贝群体的死亡率与类立克次体感染(即RLO平均感染严重度指数SI)之间存在显著的相关性,在RLO感染的高峰之后或当中部相应伴随贝群体死亡率的高峰,随着RLO感染的降低,贝群体的死亡率也明显降低。在4批养殖贝群体中,仅在A批养殖贝群体样本中发现有少量纤毛虫寄生(感染率为87.5%,感染强度为3.56个/10倍物镜).这几批幼贝群体的死亡与海水温度、盐度之间均无相关性。  相似文献

The results of histological observation showedthat rickettsia-like organism inclusions were common, histological widespread infective agent among ev-ery batches (A, B, C and D) of cultured juvenile populations. The mean severity indices (SI) of rick-ettsia-like organism (RLO) infection were positively correlated with mortality rates of juvenile popula-tions. After or within every peaks of RLO infection were all accompanied with the peaks of mortalityrates of host populations and the mortality rates declined with decreased RLO infection. So the evidencesof histological observation and epidemiology in this study indicated that rickettsia-like organism (RLO)may be as an important pathogenic organism of disease and death of cultured Pinctada maxima. In addi-tion, a few ciliates were discovered only in part of batch A of cultured juvenile population. The mortalityrates in juvenile populations were not correlated with the weekly mean temperature and salinity of seawater.  相似文献

2001~2002年,对莱州湾养殖海湾扇贝进行了较系统地流行病学调查研究.以海湾扇贝养殖集中海区莱州市金城镇扇贝养殖场为定点调查和样品采集点.调查内容主要包括海湾扇贝各养殖期的死亡率和可疑病原生物检测,同时对pH,溶解氧,温度,盐度等理化环境因子进行连续监测.调查结果显示:海湾扇贝在0.5~1.3cm的幼贝阶段死亡率较高,达50%;随后死亡率降低,1.3~2.2cm的幼贝阶段死亡率约为20%,以后各阶段死亡率平稳,均在7%以下,累积死亡率约为60%.对环境理化因子的调查显示,pH,溶解氧、盐度的变化幅度不大,与扇贝死亡率无明显相关性;温度变化与死亡率有一定的相关性,即低温(20℃以下)可能是养殖海湾扇贝幼贝重要的环境胁迫因子,而高温(27℃左右)对海湾扇贝成贝生长无不良影响.通过对可疑致病性生物因子的调查研究及病理学观察表明,海湾扇贝在养殖过程中可感染多种微生物,其中原核微生物类立克次体(RLO)在养殖过程各生长阶段均可检出,即0.5,1.5,3.0,3.6和5.0cm的海湾扇贝RLO的感染率分别为15%,35%,80%,50%和20%;RLO的感染强度分别为1.0,1.5,16.0,11.5和5.0.在病原生物检查过程中,除RLO以外还发现有类支原体原核生物(MLO)寄生.结合感染强度和组织病理学的相关性分析,初步认为类立克次体(RLO)可能是海湾扇贝在海上吊养的幼贝阶段发病死亡的致病因子.  相似文献

2001~2003年,对养殖的栉孔扇贝进行了较系统地流行病学调查研究.以栉孔扇贝养殖集中海区长岛县亚美扇贝养殖场为定点调查和样品采集点.调查内容主要包括栉孔扇贝各养殖期的死亡率和可疑病原生物检测,同时对pH、溶解氧、温度、盐度等环境理化因子进行连续监测.调查结果显示:栉孔扇贝在养殖初期幼贝阶段死亡率较低,随后死亡率逐渐升高,至8月24日月死亡率达最高点71%.9月份以后死亡率开始下降.至10月份累积死亡率达90%以上.对环境理化因子的调查显示,pH、溶解氧、盐度的变化幅度不大,与扇贝死亡率无明显相关性;温度变化与死亡率似有一定的相关性,即高温(月平均23℃以上)可能是养殖栉孔扇贝重要的环境胁迫因子.通过对可疑致病性生物因子的调查研究及病理学观察表明,栉孔扇贝在养殖过程中可感染多种微生物,其中原核微生物类立克次体(RLO)在养殖过程各生长阶段均可检出,其感染率和感染强度与扇贝死亡率呈现一致的趋势.在病原病理检测中,发现RLO的大量感染与组织细胞严重病理损伤密切相关.在病原生物检测过程中,除RLO以外还发现有类枝原体原核生物(MLO)和类病毒(VLP)寄生.RLO的人工感染实验结果说明RLO是栉孔扇贝重要的病原菌.结合感染率和死亡率、感染强度和组织病理学的相关性以及感染实验的结果分析,认为类立克次体(RLO)可能是栉孔扇贝养殖过程中大量死亡的主要致病因子.  相似文献

双齿围沙蚕(Perinereis aibuhitensis)亲体为2010 年半人工育苗的苗种, 人工培育至异沙蚕体后进行集中催产、人工授精, 受精卵经过消毒后, 孵化至囊胚期, 收集入水泥池进行中间培育, 经3 d 孵化至3 刚节幼体再次收集, 放入土池进行幼虫培育。卵子受精后, 定期(早期每隔1 h, 囊胚期后每隔3 h)取受精卵, 置于OLYMPUS-CX31 显微镜进行活体观察并进行拍照。结果表明, 在双齿围沙蚕的胚胎发育过程中, 出现了与已有结论不符的特殊现象, 例如油球与胚胎发育的关系, 胚胎的高温孵化。而且,在孵化期, 一种寄生纤毛虫导致沙蚕胚胎及出膜3 刚节疣足幼体的大量死亡, 其病害机理有待进一步研究。  相似文献

对海水养殖大珠母贝和合浦珠母贝类立克次体(Rickettsia-like organism,RLO)病(简称RLO病)的超微病理学进行了研究.结果显示细胞及亚细胞结构经历由变性发展到坏死的病变过程,如胞核由核浓缩、核碎裂发展为核溶解;线粒体出现肿胀,嵴和基质改变及内质网脱颗粒、扩张和囊泡变等一系列混浊肿胀和水泡变性的基本特征;最终,细胞器完全溶解消失使胞质疏松,呈崩解或溶解状.结合先前组织细胞病理学和本文超微病理学研究的结果认为,RLO导致宿主细胞变性坏死的机制有:(1)直接损伤细胞的质膜;(2)直接干扰或破坏细胞的正常代谢;(3)对肝胰腺的广泛破坏可能通过破坏血管内皮系统间接造成肝胰腺上皮细胞的血供障碍,进而引起营养和呼吸代谢障碍或(和)与菌体释放的内毒素有关.  相似文献

The spatial distribution of the larval abundance of the clam Ruditapes philippinarum has been investigated at 65 stations throughout Tokyo Bay on August 2, 2001. The large number of small D-shaped larvae that were found shortly after hatching in the waters around the Banzu, Futtu, and Sanmaizu-Haneda areas indicates that spawning populations in these areas probably contribute greatly to the larval supply in the bay. Small larvae also occurred abundantly around the Yokohama and Ichihara port areas, suggesting that these port regions play a role in the transport of larvae into Tokyo Bay. 研究组前期实验发现,栉孔扇贝血细胞在D形幼虫时期出现.本文应用单克隆抗体的免疫组化、免疫电镜方法进一步定位栉孔扇贝壳顶幼虫的血细胞并观察其分布.结果表明,栉孔扇贝壳顶幼虫已分化出界限明显的组织器官,包括外套膜、面盘、口、食道、胃、消化腺、足等;血细胞主要分布于壳顶幼虫的外套膜、面盘、食道、消化腺、胃等组织器官内及周围,其中面盘、消化腺、胃等处有大量血细胞成簇分布.血细胞形状不规则,直径为3~5μm;细胞核多为圆形、椭圆形,位于细胞的一侧;细胞质内有线粒体、内质网等细胞器和空泡.结果证实,栉孔扇贝在壳顶幼虫时期已出现了大量清晰可辨的血细胞,其分布特点与成贝血细胞相似.  相似文献
