Age division of Nanling granites are discussed in relation to geological, stratigraphical, age and other data,The author believes that in Nanling region there exist granites of Xuefeng,Caledonian,Hercynian,Indosinian and Yenshanian ages.Five intrusive stages can be reeognized within the Yenshanian period. The granite belts of Qitianling-Jiufeng and Dadongshan-Guidong,whose ages have been in lively debate for a long time, can be considered as composite belts consisting of multistage emplacement.  相似文献

The Phanerozoic granitoid rocks include the Caledonian,Indosinian and Yenshanian granitoid rocks. The existence of Caledonian and Indosinian granites was evidenced by zircon U-Pb ages,The study of the characteristics of major, trace and rare-earth elements, isotopic composition and petrogenesis for the granitoid rocks has been made,The Caledonian and Indosinian granites were derived from partial melting of the Proterozoic basement rocks and the two tectonic activities were weak,The Yenshanian grantoid rocks were derived from mixing of mantle and crustal materials,It implies that the crustal accretion took place in Mesozoic time.  相似文献

Based upon the present research stratus on Nan Ling granites and in the view of the defferenees in the opinions on the ages and periodic division of Nan Ling granites existing among some research units concerned, a proposal has been snbmitted in the paper, pointing out that it is quite necessary to launch a discussion in the deeper-going way on the problem involving the ages of Nan Ling granites and their periodic division in the journal “GEOCHIMICA”. The main topics expected to be discussed are as follows : (1) The existanec of Hereynian granites and the possibility of the formation of non-orogenic granites; (2) The divisional boundary between Yeushanian and Indonsinian granites and their distributional characteristics; (3) The periodic sub-division of Yenshanian granites and their relatiouship with mineralization ; (4) The division of the ,ages of granites older than the Caledonian period.  相似文献

The central part of South Mongolia, located to the north of the Solonker Suture, is a key region for studying the late Paleozoic tectonic evolution of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB). Voluminous late Paleozoic granitic rocks, especially of Carboniferous age, were intruded in this area. However, these granitoids have not been well studied and there is a lack of precise ages and isotopic data. This has hampered our understanding of the tectonic evolution of southeastern Mongolia, and even the entire CAOB. In this paper, we provide new U-Pb isotopic ages and geochemical analyses for these Carboniferous granites. One granite from the Ulaanbadrakh pluton yielded a zircon U-Pb age of 326 Ma, which indicates emplacement in the Early Carboniferous, and three other granites from the Khatanbulag region gave zircon U-Pb ages of316 Ma, 315 Ma, and 311 Ma, which indicate emplacement in the Late Carboniferous. The Early Carboniferous granite has SiO2 contents of 70.04–70.39 wt% and K2 O + Na2 O contents of 6.48–6.63 wt%, whereas the Late Carboniferous granites have more variable compositions(SiO2 = 65.29–77.91 wt% and K2 O + Na2 O = 5.30–7.27 wt%). All the granites are weakly-peraluminous I-types that are relatively enriched in U, Th, K, Zr, Hf, and LREEs. The whole rock Sr-Nd and zircon in situ Lu-Hf isotope analyses for the Early Carboniferous granite gave positive values of εNd(t)(2.87) and εHf(t)(4.31–12.37) with young Nd(TDM = 860 Ma) and Hf(TDMc = 1367–637 Ma) two-stage model ages, indicating derivation from juvenile crustal material. In contrast, the Late Carboniferous granites had more diverse values of εNd(t)(–4.03 to 2.18) and εHf(t)(–12.69 to5.04) with old Nd(TDM = 1358–1225 Ma) and Hf(TDMc = 2881–1294 Ma) depleted mantle two-stage model ages, suggesting derivation from remelting of Precambrian basement. Based on the existing results, the tectonic setting of the Late Carboniferous granites in the central part of South Mongolia is known for its diversity, and this paper believes that the tectonic background of the carboniferous granite records the tectonic transition from a continental-margin-arc to a postcollisional extensional setting during the Late Carboniferous–Permian.  相似文献

In the Ordos basin, two distinct thermal events of different ages have been identified for the first time by means of K-Ar dating combined with illite crystallinity analysis. For the Late Triassic and Late Permian samples, the K-Ar ages of the < 0.2μm fractions (159-173 Ma) reflect an illitization age related to the Yanshanian movement and indicate a short thermal event in the Middle Jurassic; the K-Ar ages of the <2 μm fractions (210-308 Ma) are interpreted as mixed ages of detrital material and authigenic illites. The K-Ar ages of both < 0.2μm and < 2μm fractions of a Middle Cambrian sample (368 Ma and 419 Ma) correspond to the ages of the metamorphism and earliest granite intrusion in the northern Caledonian Qinling fold zone (380-420 Ma) and show a thermal event during Silurian-Devonian time.  相似文献

The Hekoulinchang Sn-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic deposit(20000 t Sn at 0.27%,236 t Ag at 122.89 g/t,15000 t Pb at 0.84%,and 38000 t Zn at 1.43%)is located in the Wandashan Terrane of the easternmost segment of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. The timing of Sn-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic mineralization remains unclear due to a lack of precise isotope dating directly conducted on ore minerals. The authors herein report that the LA-ICP-MS U-Pb ages of cassiterite and zircon from the granite porphyry in the Hekoulinchang Sn-Pb-Zn-Ag polymetallic deposit are 101.4±7.9 Ma and 115.4±1.0 Ma,respectively, indicating that Sn mineralization and magmatism occurred during the Early Cretaceous. The granite porphyry belongs to the subalkaline series peraluminous I-type granites that are depleted in Nb,Ta,and Ti and enriched in Rb,Th,U,and Pb.TheεHf(t)values of the granite porphyry range from 0.9 to 7.4,with an average of about 5.6 and two-stage model ages(TDM2)of 705–1116 Ma,with an average age of 819 Ma.The εNd(t)values of the apatites are–1.60–0.45,with an average of–0.9,and two-stage model ages(TDM2)of 872–1040 Ma,with an average age of 983 Ma.The Nd-Hf isotope data indicate that the magma may have been derived from the partial melting of juvenile crustal material.  相似文献

西昆仑山加里东期花岗岩类构造的类型及其大地构造意义   总被引:27,自引:7,他引:20
The Caledonian granite belt in the West Kunlun Mts.is distributed on the south-side of Kudi tectonic belt in northwest Tibet Plateau. It consists of about 10 representative massifs in studied area. They were systematically studied, especially on west-side of Datong and Wuyitake massifs that were in lower degree of study before our work. Four tectonic genesis types——ocean ridge granites, volcanic arc granites, post-collision uplift granites and late-orogenic granites have been discriminated according to their features of occurrences, rock assemblage, facieology and petrogeochemistry. The results indicate that the West Kunlun Mts.is a Caledonian collision-orogenic belt and it has important significance for understanding the geological evolution of Tibet Plateau in early Paleozoic era.  相似文献

南岭诸广山花岗岩体的多次侵入活动和某些地球化学特征   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7
The eleven successive magmatic activities of the southern mass of the Zhuguangshan granitic batholith can be divided into four intrusive episodes: Calidonian, Late Hercynian, Yenshanian and one of younger age, based on intrusive contact observations in the field, isotope ages and petrological-geochemical evidences, Genetically, rocks of each of the four episodes have their own features. The Yenshanian granites are characterized by a strong tendency toward differenciation. Variation in oxygen fugacity and in lithofacil character of the rocks indicates that the two earlier phases of the Yenshanian granites are emplaced in greater depth in a tectonick stable environment, while the later two phases are of relatively hypobyssal character under more active geological conditions.  相似文献

The Mesozoic porphyry assemblage in the Jinduicheng area is a special molybdenum area in China, the Mo deposits, including the Jinduicheng, Balipo, Shijiawan, Huanglongpu, are distributed. The emplacement age and geochemical features of the granites in the Jinduicheng area can provide essential information for the exploration and development of the porphyry molybdenum deposit. In this study, we report LA–ICP–MS zircon U–Pb age and zircon Hf isotopic compositions of granite porphyries from the Jinduicheng area, and provide insights on the petrogensis and source characteristics of the granites. The results show that the zircon U–Pb ages of the Jinduicheng granite porphyry (143±1 Ma) and the Balipo granite (154±1 Ma), agree well with the Re–Os ages of molybdenite in the Jinduicheng molybdenum polymetallic deposit (139±3 Ma) and the Balipo molybdenum polymetallic deposit (156±2 Ma), indicating that the emplacement of granite porphyries occurred between Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous. Zircons granite from the Jinduicheng area give the εHf(t) values mainly ranging from ?10 to ?16, and ?20 to ?24, respectively, corresponding to two–stage model ages (tDM2: mainly focused on 1.86–2.0 Ga, and 2.2–2.6 Ga, respectively) of zircons of the granite from the Jinduicheng values. The ore–forming materials are mainly derived from crust, with minor mantle substances. Zircons of the granite from the Balipo area give εHf(t) values ranging from ?18 to ?20, ?28 to ?38, and ?42 to ?44, respectively, corresponding to two–stage model ages (tDM2: mainly focused on 1.88–3.0 Ga, and 3.2–3.90 Ga, respectively). the εHf(t) values of the Jinduicheng porphyry more than that of the Balipo porphyry, and two–stage model ages (tDM2) less than that of the Balipo porphyry, shows that he source of the porphyries originated from ancient lower crustal materials in the Jinduicheng area, and mixed younger components, more younger components contributed for the source of the Jinduicheng porphyry.  相似文献

The pulsational characteristics of magmatic activity are discussed in terms of potyeyelcs, polyphases and polystagcs for Mesozoic granites from Ⅰ,Ⅱ, Ⅲ areas.Based on 141 rock analyses, 80 semiquantitative spectrographic analyses for the granites and 50 chemical analyses for beryllium, niobium and tantalum, the authors present pertinent diagrams and petrochemical-geoehemical parameters which bring out the periodic variations in the bulk chemical composition of the rocks as wen as the periodicity of rare metal mineralization during the differentiation and evolution of Mesozoic granitic magmas. It is noted that the mineralization of lithium, beryllium, niobium and tantalum took place principally at later stages of each magmatic cycle. A camparison of the petrochemical-geochemical characteristics between granites east and west of the L-R Fault has led to the recognition of two different granite areas and two geochemical provinces for beryllium.  相似文献

Melting experiments have been carried out on major rock types from the three rock belts in Southern Xizang. These rocks, being quite different in chemical composition, are representative of granites of Late Yenshanian, Early Himalayan and Late Himalayan periods in this area, Experimental water pressures are eontrolled at 2kb. Results show the beginning temperatures of melting for the seven rock types are : Gubug tourmaline-muscovite granite 615℃, Zayu coarse-grained gneiesose biotite-granite 635℃, Kangmar finegrained gneissose two-mica granite 640℃,Dala gneissese two-mica granite 645℃, Quxu biotite granite 660℃, Lhasa granodiorite 700℃, and Gyubge hypersthene diorite 740℃. The beginning temperature of melting decreases with decreasing granite age.Spatially the temperature of formation drops progressively southwards from Kangdese through Lhagoi Kangri to Himalaya rock belt. Additionally, the beginning temperature of melting varies with the contents of mafic minerals and differentiation index of the rocks. Our experimental and geological data suggest that the three rock belts in Southern Xizang are all of magmatic origin. Himalaya and Lhagoi Kangrl rock belts arc stemed from partial melting of continental material, whereas Kangdese rock belt probably from remelting or partial melting of oceanic crustal material.  相似文献

Based on the new data of isotopic ages and geochemical analyses, three types of Mesozoic granites have been identified for the Xiong'ershan-Waifangshan region in western Henan Province: high-Ba-SrⅠ-type granite emplaced in the early stage (~160 Ma),Ⅰ-type granite in the middle stage (~130 Ma) and anorogenic A-type granite in the late stage (~115 Ma). Geochemical characteristics of the high-Ba-SrⅠ-type granite suggest that it may have been generated from the thickened lower crust by partial melting with primary residues of amphibole and garnet. Gradual increase of negative Eu anomaly and Sr content variations reflect progressive shallowing of the source regions of these granites from the early to late stage. New 40Ar/39Ar plateau ages of the early-stage Wuzhangshan granite (156.0±1.1 Ma, amphibole) and middle-stage Heyu granite (131.8±0.7 Ma, biotite) are indistinguishable from their SHRIMP U-Pb ages previous published, indicating a rapid uplift and erosion in this region. The representative anorogenic A-type granite, Taishanmiao pluton, was emplaced at~115 Ma. The evolution of the granites in this region reveals a tectonic regime change from post-collisional to anorogenic between~160 Ma and~115 Ma. The genesis of the early- and middle-stageⅠ-type granites could be linked to delamination of subducted lithosphere of the Qiniing orogenic belt, while the late-stage A-type granites represent the onset of extension and the end of orogenic process. In fact, along the Qiniing -Dabie-Sulu belt, the Mesozoic granitoids in western Henan, Dabieshan and Jiaodong regions are comparable on the basis of these temporal evolutionary stages and their initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios, which may suggest a similar geodynamic process related to the collision between the North China and Yangtze cratons.  相似文献

The Qinling Orogen in Central China records the history of a complex geological evolution and tectonic transition from compression to extension during the Late Mesozoic, with concomitant voluminous granitoids formation. In this study,we present results from petrological, geochemical, zircon U-Pb-Lu-Hf isotopic studies on the Lengshui felsic dykes from Luanchuan region in the East Qinling Orogen. We also compile published geochronological, geochemical, and Hf isotopic data from Luanchuan region and present zircon Hf isotopic contour maps. The newly obtained age data yield two group of ages at~145 Ma and 140 Ma for two granite porphyries from the Lengshui felsic dykes, with the ~145 Ma interpreted as response to the peak of magmatism in the region, and the ~140 Ma as the timing of formation of the felsic dykes. The corresponding Hf isotopic data of the granite porphyries display negativeeHit)values of-16.67 to-4.61,and Hf crustal model ages(T_(DM~C_)of 2255-1490 Ma,indicating magma sourced from the melting of Paleo-to Mesoproterozoic crustal materials. The compiled age data display two major magmatic pulses at 160-130 Ma and 111-108 Ma with magmatic quiescence in between, and the zircon Hf isotopic data display/ε_(Hf)(t)values ranging from-41.9 to 2.1 and T_(DM)~c values of3387-1033 Ma,suggesting mixed crustal and mantle-derived components in the magma source, and correspond to multiple tectonic events during the Late Mesozoic. The Luanchuan granitoids are identified as 1-type granites and most of these are highly fractionated granites, involving magma mixing and mingling and crystal fractionation. The tectonic setting in the region transformed from the Late Jurassic syn-collision setting to Early Cretaceous within-plate setting, with E-W extension in the Early Cretaceous. This extension is correlated with the N-S trending post-collisional extension between the North China Craton and Yangtze Craton as well as the E-W trending back-arc extension triggered by the westward Paleo-Pacific Plate subduction, eventually leading to lithospheric thinning, asthenospheric upwelling, mafic magma underplating, and crustal melting in the East Qinling Orogen.  相似文献

Alkaline granites (Rb-Sr ages 276-286 Ma)occurring in the Bayan Ul-East Ujimqin belt at the southern margin of the Siberian plate originated in a tensional tectonic environment about 60 Ma earlier than the Late Devonian to Early Carboniferous collision between the Siberian and Sino-Korean plates. They belong to post-orogenic A-type granites and may be used as an indicator of the end of the orogeny. At the northern margin of the Sino-Korean plate, however, only late-orogenic calc-alkaline granites occurred during the late Caboniferous-Permian, and alkaline syenites did not appear until the Late Triassic. The asymmetric magmatism at the margins of the two neighbouring plates might be controlled by the differences in size and mass of the two plates.  相似文献

Calc-alkaline granites (excluding A-and M-type) could be divided into two petrogenic series,I,e,the syntexis series and the transformation series according to their genetic mechanisms. In the light of this classification we found that granites of these two series often aligne in paired zones parallel to contemporaneous B-type or intracontinental compression-subduction zones within ascended slabs,re-sulting in a regular zonal pattern together with subduction zones. Thus, they are defined as twin granite belts.According to the spatial relations between the granite belts and the subduction zones, the twin granite belts could be classified as A, AB and B-type .The zonation of granites of the two series in the northern part of the East Qinlin area could be cited as a typical example of A-type twin granite belts related to the Yenshanian intracontinenta compression-subduction movement in the area.In this paper the tectonic settings and petrogenic features of the twin granites belts in East Qinlin are systematically described, and a tectonic model for granitic magma genesis in intracontinental compression-subduction environments has been proposed. In this model the forma-tion of A-type twin granite belts is closely connected with tectonic movements in terms of the prince-ple,rule and dynamics of material differentiation in the lithosphere.  相似文献

During the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian, a rift was formed by post-collisional extension after ocean closure or an island arc-related basin formed by Paleo-Asian Ocean (PAO) subduction in the Xi Ujimqin area. Nevertheless, the closure time of the PAO is still under debate. Thus, to identify the origin of the PAO, the geochemistry and U-Pb age of zircons were analyzed for the extra-large deep marine, polymict clastic boulders and sandstones in the Shoushangou Formation within the basin. The analyses revealed magmatic activity and tectonic evolution. The conglomerates include megaclasts of granite (298.8 ± 9.1?Ma) and granodiorite porphyry (297.1 ± 3.1?Ma), which were deposited by muddy debris flow. Results of this study demonstrated that the boulders of granitoids have the geochemistry of typical I-type granite, characterized by low Zr + Nb + Ce + Y and low Ga/Al values. The granitoid boulders were formed in island arc setting, indicating the presence of arc magmatism in the area that is composed of the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian subduction-related granitoid in southern Xi Ujimqin. Multiple diagrams for determining sedimentary provenance using major and trace elements indicate that Shoushangou sediments originated from continental island arc-related felsic rocks. Detrital zircon U-Pb age cluster of 330–280?Ma was obtained, indicating input from granite, ophiolite, Xilin Gol complex, and Carboniferous sources to the south. The basin was geographically developed behind the arc during the Early Permian period because the outcropped intrusive rocks in the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian form a volcanic arc. The comprehensive analyses of source areas suggest that Shoushangou sediments developed in a backarc basin in response to the northward subduction of the PAO. The backarc basin and intrusive rocks, in addition to previously published Late Carboniferous to Early Permian magmatic rocks of arc unit in Xilin Gol, confirm the presence of an Early Permian trench-arc-basin system in the region, represented by the Baolidao arc and Xi Ujimqin backarc basin. This study highlights the importance and potential of combined geochemical and geochronological studies of conglomerates and sandstone for reconstructing the geodynamic setting of a basin.  相似文献
