Iran has very high potential for production and export of dimension stone (rock quarried to size and shape specifications); nevertheless, in spite of growing mine production during the past decade, in many instances this potential has been overlooked. Construction, decorative, and facing stones of Iran are among the highest-quality products in the world. In this paper, Iran’s dimensional stone mines are analyzed using strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis in combination with analytic hierarchy process (AHP). SWOT analysis is a tool commonly used for analyzing both the internal and external environments in order to attain a systematic approach and support for a decision situation. Conventionally, SWOT analysis is qualitative and does not quantify the effect of the factors. Consequently, it is not effective in priority setting. To overcome this limitation, SWOT analysis has been used in combination with other quantitative multi-criteria decision making methods especially the AHP. In this study, first an environment analysis was performed by an expert team familiar with these mines. In this way, the SWOT factors were identified and the subfactors which had very significant effects on the success of these mines were determined. Using the SWOT subfactors, the SWOT matrix and alternative strategies based on these subfactors were developed. Subsequently, the strategies were prioritized and the best strategies for Iran’s dimensional stone mines were determined.  相似文献

The current paper is an attempt to find a sustainable fuel strategy for passenger cars in Iran. Currently, most of Iran’s passenger cars consume gasoline, a non-renewable fossil fuel. This fuel has well-known environmental impacts, including various kinds of pollutions, as well as the threat of quick running out. These general negative characteristics of gasoline are amplified by the high consumption rate of Iran’s transportation sector, (e.g. about three times more than that of UK). The objective of this paper is firstly selecting possible alternative fuels for Iran’s transportation sector, and then proposing the percent of cars consuming these alternative fuels (along with gasoline). The best strategies are proposed based on environmental and economic considerations, and hence are more sustainable decisions comparing with the other strategies. The best strategies are found using partial order theory and Hasse diagram technique, which is a multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) tool.  相似文献

This paper evaluates the development of India's mining industry, its present status and future outlook. Despite its growth, the contribution of India's mining industry to GDP has remained relatively stable since 1970. At present the nation is a leading world producer of 11 major mineral and energy commodities, including bauxite, chromite, coal, iron ore and manganese. Recent economic reforms have stimulated industrial expansion in India; however, problems, including a restricted private sector role in resource development and ineffective government mineral strategies, may limit future growth in output. Capital investment levels in India's mining industry are examined in the paper to assess possible long-term expansion levels.  相似文献

基于模糊数学理论,通过统计经验数据,采用熵值法对影响近松散含水层安全开采的关键因素赋权,利用GIS定量确定各个因素的隶属度,构造了基于熵值的模糊综合评判模型。以山东某矿六采区01工作面开采为例,选择覆岩厚度、断层构造、第四系底部粘土层厚度、底部含水层的单位涌水量、煤层开采厚度、导水裂隙带高度6个影响因素为评判指标,确定了可行性程度的评判集:{较低,低,中等,高,很高},依据水体下开采的有关安全规程,采用GIS方法确定了各个因素的隶属度,并利用历史开采经验数据确定各个影响因素的权重。对该工作面近松散含水层下开采的评判结果表明,该工作面控制采高为2 m时开采是安全可行的,开采过程中针对薄弱环节采取了相应措施,没有发生突水溃砂事件,初步验证了该模糊综合评判模型的实用性。   相似文献

The Siberian Platform, covering a vast area of East Siberia (Russian Federation), represents one of the largest underexplored regions in Asia. Previous expeditions and regional surveys in the twentieth century, however, suggest that the Siberian Platform and adjacent orogenic belts hold significant potential for large undiscovered gold, copper, diamond and industrial mineral deposits, along with extensive oil and gas fields. The remoteness of the region, its inhospitable winter climate, and a major lack of modern infrastructure and mining methods have long hampered exploration in this area. These factors, along with the additional investment required and political uncertainties involved with operating in Russia, have deterred many international mining companies from considering the Siberian Platform as a viable region for exploration and mining. However, as mining industry paradigms change into a green, battery metals‐driven commodity sector, and modern mining methods are developed, increasing efficiency at a lower cost, the significant undiscovered mineral potential of the Siberian Platform could elevate the region to the forefront of mineral exploration and mining in the future.  相似文献

A hybrid dimensional analysis fuzzy inference system approach was introduced to predict blast-induced flyrock in surface mining, by integrating a dimensional analysis procedure and Mamdani’s fuzzy inference system. In the dimensional analysis, the blast-induced flyrock was considered as a function of the most effective parameters. Hence, a number of dimensionless products resulted and were used as input and output parameters of Mamdani’s fuzzy inference system. The capability of the hybrid approach was determined by comparing its results with the real measurement of flyrock in the case of a copper mine, based on a number of 320 in situ blasting datasets. Predictions by the system were close to the real measurements. Sensitivity analysis of the hybrid dimensional analysis fuzzy inference system showed that the most effective dimensionless products on flyrock distance were spacing, the multiplication of rock mass rating and hole length, and the subtraction of burden and hole length multiplication and stemming length.  相似文献

This work has evaluated the functionality of various fuzzy-based fusion methods in the mineral potential mapping (MPM), by which a multi-criteria decision-making problem was solved to design a layout for drilling complementary boreholes through a comprehensive analysis of geospatial datasets. The novel methods employed were fuzzy c-means clustering, fuzzy gamma operator, fuzzy inference system (FIS), fuzzy outranking, and fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (FOWA). Kahang porphyry Cu-Mo deposit in the Isfahan province of Iran was chosen as a case study to examine the performance of these fuzzy methods in MPM. Extracted geospatial indicator layers for assessing the potential of porphyry-type mineralization were derived from four criteria, namely geology (rock units and faults), remote sensing (alteration map), geochemistry (Cu, Mo, and factor maps), and geophysics (reduced to the pole and analytical signal of magnetic data). The concentration-area multifractal method was utilized to reclassify each synthesized fuzzy favorability map into five classes. To appraise and compare the efficiency of each employed method, a productivity measure assumed as a cumulative summation of Cu grade multiplied by its thickness above an economical cut-off value of 0.2% was calculated along with each drilling (totally 33 ones). According to fuzzy favorability maps derived from running all fuzzy methods, the FIS and FOWA had the highest efficiency with 80 and 78% of accuracy, respectively. Eventually, taking all fuzzy maps into account led to the delineation of some new favorable zones, whereby further exploratory investigations are envisioned for determining their mining potential.  相似文献

Today one of the world’s largest coal mining producers is China. Mining, especially coalmines had been the major sources of income to Chinese people. The mining activity offers many great opportunities to country and its population. Unlike in Ivory Coast where the active involvement of many people in artisanal mining activities in Ivory Coast is mainly due to the high rate of abject poverty and the low price of agricultural produce. With the increasing depth of mining, rock burst is on the rise. China’s deep mining industry faces such a threat. A major problem of deep mining is high ground stress, which is the major factor of rock burst. Due to the complexity of the rock burst mechanisms, complexity of induced factors as well as suddenness and randomness of rock burst occurrences, studies of rock burst prediction and control for safe mine exploitation is far from satisfying. The purpose of this paper is to examine of rock burst phenomenon in order to understand both stability in rock mechanics and the prediction of instability disasters in rock mechanics for application in the Ivory Coast mining sector with reference to the current Chinese mining industry.  相似文献

Earth dam site selection is one of the most important problems in water resources management. It depends on a set of qualitative and quantitative criteria, and they may even be in conflict with each other. This study aims to develop a multicriteria decision-making approach to locate the dam site and construct a multipurpose earth dam in Harsin City at the western part of Iran. For this purpose, firstly, the influential criteria for locating the earth dam site were determined using a comprehensive literature review and the experts’ opinions. Then, some watersheds in the surrounding areas of Iran’s Harsin City were studied and four feasible sites proposed. In the final stage, these sites, in order to construct a multipurpose earth dam, were prioritized using the analytic hierarchy process approach and the most optimal site was selected.  相似文献

哈萨克斯坦地处中亚核心位置,是丝绸之路经济带的重要节点和战略枢纽,具有丰富的矿产资源,地缘政治经济意义重大,是中国企业开展国际矿业投资合作的重要目标国之一。本文在系统梳理哈萨克斯坦基本国情、主要矿产资源特征及开发现状、地质工作程度和地矿管理体系等基础上,对哈萨克斯坦的矿业投资环境进行了评价,分析了矿业投资的有利和不利条件。研究认为哈萨克斯坦矿产资源禀赋优势突出,油气、铀、铬、金、钨、铅、锌及铜等矿种的资源储量居世界前列;全国仅有10%~15%的已探明矿产资源处于开发阶段,采矿业发展潜力巨大;哈萨克斯坦的总体投资环境优越,吸引外资力度逐渐加大,矿产勘探开发水平不断提升。但中国企业开展矿业投资也存在竞争力不足,以及面临政策法规不稳定、地质技术资料不可靠及运营等方面的风险。为此,建议中国投资者一方面要加强对哈萨克斯坦优势矿产的投资力度,积极拓展合作方式及合作领域;另一方面要注重与哈萨克斯坦各利益集团建立良好关系,结合企业优势,综合评价矿业项目,做好风险预警防范;同时,在投资过程中要尊重地方文化习俗,积极履行社会责任。  相似文献

The relationship between major structural lineaments and locations of ore deposits in Iran has been investigated using geospatial data. In the course of lineament extraction, satellite images, aeromagnetic data, digital elevation model (DEM) and structural maps were processed and the lineaments and large-scale faults were identified. The extracted lineaments, based on subjective assessment, from each dataset were imported into GIS software and the “lineament map of Iran” was prepared by data integration. The analysis for selecting significant lineament was mainly based on fault correlated lineament and lineament with field map fractures, which was sets as benchmarks for compiling a final output map. Four major regional lineament trends of N–S, E–W, NW–SE and NE–SW were identified in the data of all images, which are corresponded to the structural zones and the major fault systems of Iran. The mineral deposits (active and abandoned) and mineral indications database compiled are based on the published maps, papers, reports and the ore deposits data files of Geological Survey of Iran. Integrating the output of these two datasets by GIS software resulted in the “Combined Map of Lineaments and Gold, Copper, Lead, Zinc and Iron Deposits of Iran”. The number and distance of ore deposits toward the lineaments were processed by the counting and cumulative methods in the GIS software's. Approximately, over 90% of the ore deposits of Iran are located in the central part of the lineaments (15 km on each side) which are concordant with a definition of large lineament. About 50% of these mineral deposits are closer than 5 km to the lineaments. There are significant correlations between lineament density and intersections with ore deposits occurrences. The observed associations at this scale are informative in establishing exploration strategy and decreasing exploration risks for detailed work on ore deposit scale.  相似文献

马里地处西非克拉通腹地,境内大量出露前寒武纪结晶基底,发育大规模的比里姆(Birimian)绿岩带。带内受到后期不连续造山事件的改造,内生金属矿产资源禀赋极好,是西非地区重要的产金岩系。国内关于马里矿产地质特征和矿业开发前景的相关研究较少。为了补充该研究领域,本文系统总结了马里的矿产资源禀赋和开发现状,对其矿业投资环境进行了重点分析研究。研究结果表明,马里区域位置和成矿地质条件优越。目前马里已探明的固体矿产资源种类10余种,其中金矿资源储量2898 t,居非洲地区前列。此外还拥有丰富的锂矿、铀矿、磷酸盐矿、铁矿等矿产资源,多数未进行系统勘查,资源潜力极大。马里的矿产资源除金矿外,其他矿产资源开发程度较低。马里的矿业投资活动活跃,主要投资矿种为金矿、锂矿、铀矿等。马里矿业投资环境整体上较好,矿业相关法律健全,政策支持力度较大,鼓励外资进入矿业领域。中资矿业企业可以重点关注马里的金、锂、铀等优势矿种,选择合适时机开展相关勘查投入,以适合自身的模式进行矿业开发合作。  相似文献

人口、资源、环境是国际社会所面临的重要问题。资源的合理配置是21世纪可持续发展的一个关键问题。化学矿产与其它矿产资源一样,形势严峻。在开发利用过程中存在着资源短缺与资源浪费、国家和地区、当前和长远、开采与保护、开发与环境污染等5个矛盾。要实施可持续发展战略,必须正确处理这些矛盾。急待解决的主要问题有:提高国民素质和全社会节约意识、确实贯彻矿产保护法、加强矿产基地建设、提高机械化程度、适应市场化经济、稳定地质科研队伍等。  相似文献

This paper describes the usage of clustering methods including self-organizing map (SOM) and fuzzy c-means (FCM) which are applied to prepare mineral prospectivity map. Different evidential layers, including geological, geophysical, and geochemical, to evaluate Now Chun copper deposit located in the Kerman province of Iran are used. Clustering approaches are used to reduce the dimension of 13 feature vectors derived from different layers. At first, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) is employed to analyze and integrate different layers, and the area under study is prioritized to five classes. Then, the SOM as an unsupervised classification method is carried out to classify this area into five clusters. Produced clusters are compared with GIS prospect map, while the SOM results are matched with the GIS output. The main reason to use the FCM is that a vector belongs simultaneously to more than one cluster so that membership values of each cluster can be mapped. As a consequence, clusters generated by the SOM and FCM are considerably matched with five-class-map of the GIS approach. The chosen cluster as a high potential location to additional drilling is matched to the main alteration and faults zone. To validate generated clusters for mineral potential mapping, geological matching of study area and selected proper cluster can be a satisfactory way. Finally, clustering methods can be a very fast approach to interpret the area under study.  相似文献

During the last decades, growth of urbanization and industrialization led to an increase in solid waste generation. Landfilling is the most prevalent ultimate disposal method for the municipal solid wastes in developing countries. The rapid municipal solid waste generation in Markazi province (central part of Iran) causes the need for precision in finding a suitable landfill site selection. In the present study, 12 factors (environmental and socioeconomic factors) have been applied to select the landfill site in Markazi province, Iran. The different methods including the analytic network process (ANP) combined with fuzzy linguistic quantifier, ordered weighted average (OWA), and weighted linear combination (WLC) approach in geographic information system was applied to find an appropriate landfill site. The OWA operator function permits the evaluation of the wide spectrum of consequences (with different scenario) obtained from different management strategies. Results revealed that integration of fuzzy logic, ANP, and OWA provides flexible and better ideas compared to the Boolean logic and WLC to select a suitable landfill site.  相似文献

墨西哥合众国矿产资源丰富,经济环境相对稳定,矿业是其经济支柱。墨西哥地质格局由古老的基底残片与古洋壳不断增生拼合而成。活跃的地质过程造就了分布广泛、数量众多、类型各异的矿产,按成因来看这要有低温热液型、矽卡岩型、MVT(密西西比河谷型)、VMS(火山岩块状硫化物型)、SEDEX(沉积喷流型)、IOCG(铁氧化物铜金矿)等类型。本文介绍了墨西哥的地质概况、六个主要的成矿期、各矿种分布特征;另外,墨西哥政府对矿产的勘查、开发等有相对开放、优惠的政策;在墨西哥未来经济中,矿业仍将扮演重要角色。  相似文献

The presented research was performed in order to model the fire risk in a part of Hyrcanian forests of Iran. The fuzzy sets integrated with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) in a decision-making algorithm using geographic information system (GIS) was used to model the fire risk in the study area. The used factors included four major criteria (topographic, biologic, climatic, and human factors) and their 17 sub-criteria. Fuzzy AHP method was used for estimating the importance (weight) of the effective factors in forest fire. Based on this modeling method, the expert ideas were used to express the relative importance and priority of the major criteria and sub-criteria in forest fire risk in the study area. The expert ideas mean was analyzed based on fuzzy extent analysis. Then, the fuzzy weights of criteria and sub-criteria were obtained. The major criteria models and fire risk model were presented based on these fuzzy weights. On the other hand, the spatial data of 17 sub-criteria were provided and organized in GIS to obtain the sub-criteria maps. Each sub-criterion map was converted to raster format and it was reclassified based on risk of its classes to fire occurrence. Then, all sub-criteria maps were converted to fuzzy format using fuzzy membership function in GIS. The fuzzy map of each major criterion (topographic, biologic, climatic, and human criteria) was obtained by weighted overlay of its sub-criteria fuzzy maps considering to major criterion model in GIS. Finally, the fuzzy map of fire risk was obtained by weighted overlay of major criteria fuzzy maps considering to fire risk model in GIS. The actual fire map was used for validation of fire risk model and map. The results showed that the fuzzy estimated weights of human, biologic, climatic, and topographic criteria in fire risk were 0.301, 0.2595, 0.2315, and 0.208, respectively. The results obtained from the fire risk map showed that 38.74% of the study area has very high and high risk for fire occurrence. Results of validation of the fire risk map showed that 80% of the actual fires were located in the very high and high risk areas in fire risk map. It can show the acceptable accuracy of the fire risk model and map obtained from fuzzy AHP in this study. The obtained fire risk map can be used as a decision support system for predicting of the future fires in the study area.  相似文献
