The Haenam volcanic field was formed in the southern part of the Korean peninsula by the climactic igneous activity of the Late Cretaceous. The volcanic field hosts more than nine hydrothermal clay deposits and two epithermal Au–Ag deposits. This study focuses on the relationship between hydrothermal clay alteration and epithermal Au–Ag mineralization based on the geology, alteration mineralogy, geochronology, and mineralization characteristics.These clay and epithermal Au–Ag deposits are interpreted to have formed by the same hydrothermal event which produced two distinct types of mineral systems: 1) Au-dominant epithermal Au–Ag deposit and 2) clay-dominant hydrothermal clay deposit. The two types of mineral systems show a close genetic relationship as suggested by their temporal and spatial relationships. The Seongsan hydrothermal system progressively evolved from a low-intermediate sulfidation epithermal system with Au–Ag mineralization and phyllic alteration to an acid–sulfate high-sulfidation system with Au–Ag mineralization and/or barren advanced argillic/argillic alteration. The Seongsan system evolved during post volcanic hydrothermal activity for at least 10 Ma in the Campanian stage of the late Cretaceous.The Seongsan hydrothermal system shows the rare and unique occurrence of superimposed high to low (intermediate) sulfidation episodes, which persisted for about 10 Ma.  相似文献

东秦岭位于华北板块与扬子板块之间的拼合带--秦岭造山带东段,该区是一典型的地球化学急变带与地球物理梯度交叉区,壳幔富含Cu、Pb、Zn、Au、Ag、W、Mo元素,为一元古宙一古生代裂陷槽,熊耳群、宽坪群、二郎坪群、耀岭河组火山岩系中的火山喷发Cu、Pb、Zn、Ag、Au矿(化)层.多期次的构造岩浆活动,使区内Cu、Pb、Zn、Ag、Au、W、Mo叠加富集体成矿,从而使东秦岭地区铜矿床在区域分布、成矿空间、时间上呈现出一定的规律性并找矿标志明显.  相似文献

在华北板块南缘熊耳群火山岩系地层内部,已发现金、银多金属矿床多处,但对其成因机制的解释,不同学者往往存在不同认识。笔者通过对已知矿床产出地质特征、成矿热水流体特征和来源以及矿化、蚀变围岩系统研究后提出熊耳期后火山热液是控制金、银多金属矿床形成的主要因素,成矿作用以热水流体的沉积、充填作用为主,主成矿期应为熊耳群火山活动后期等新认识。  相似文献

通过城门山矿田矿床地质、矿体走向及倾向上的厚度及品位变化情况总结其矿化特征,根据成矿温度及地球化学成矿条件研究该矿体矿化富集规律的控制因素,并从矿化特征方面佐证讨论该类矿床的成因及外围找矿方向。研究表明,矿体矿化沿水平及垂向上均具有分带特征,大致表现为沿热液中心向外为Mo、Cu、Zn、Pb、Ag、Au元素的分带,从地表向下为TFe、Au、Ag、Pb、Zn、Cu元素的分带。除此之外,矿化还具有差异特征,表现为走向上矿体两端发育的不一致性、倾向上的局部豆荚状发育特征。本次工作厘定的分带性及差异性分别佐证了矿床的热液成因与沉积成因,并预测外围具有较好的多金属找矿前景,且东段好于西段。   相似文献

云南个旧锡多金属矿区卡房矿田伴生金矿主要赋存于中三叠统个旧组卡房段地层的中上部,矿化受花岗岩侵入的热液活动、变玄武岩及NE向和EW向褶皱、断裂构造控制。伴生金矿床可分为含金(银)多金属矽卡岩硫化锡铜矿床及含金脉(层)状锡铅矿床。金主要呈银金矿、自然金等独立矿物出现,主要载金矿物有自然铋、毒砂、辉钼矿等,其中以自然铋含金量最高。金矿化在变玄武岩底界之下6~20m处矿化最强,最富集。  相似文献

治岭头金矿位于浙江省遂昌县,是我国东南沿海的一座大型金矿床。该矿床围岩蚀变发育,类型有硅化、绢云母化、绿泥石化、黄铁矿化、方解石化和菱锰矿化。从矿体到围岩可以划分为4个蚀变带:强硅化带、弱硅化-黄铁绢英岩化带、绢云母化带和绿泥石化带。沿矿体走向,蚀变强度整体上呈波动性变化,与矿体呈透镜状产出特征一致。硅化、黄铁矿化、菱锰矿化与金矿化关系最密切,而且这些蚀变具有相似的变化趋势。绢云母化和绿泥石化与硅化的变化趋势不同,且与矿化关系不密切。另外,矿区还发育方解石化,且强度较弱。金矿化及围岩蚀变均发育在古元古界八都群变质岩中,未进入上覆中生代火山岩盖层,证明治岭头金矿成矿作用与中生代火山活动无关。定量计算结果显示:蚀变过程中Al_2O_3、TiO_2、P_2O_5为惰性组分;SiO_2、CaO、MnO、Au、Ag、Cu、Pb、Zn等为明显带入组分;Fe_2O_3、FeO、MgO、K_2O、Na_2O、Ba、Sr等为明显带出组分。根据围岩蚀变和稳定同位素分析,推断治岭头金矿原始成矿热液流体应是富含Si、Ca、Mn、Au、Ag、Cu、Pb、Zn等组分的岩浆热液,后期有大气降水的加入。  相似文献

新疆哈密卡拉塔格块状硫化物矿床金银赋存状态研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
新疆哈密红海黄土坡VMS矿床位于东天山卡拉塔格隆起带,是卡拉塔格矿集区内新发现的块状硫化物矿床。矿体产于卡拉塔格隆起带核部火山沉积岩建造中,具有典型的VMS型矿床“上层下脉”二元结构特征。该矿床中含金硫化物矿石主要有块状黄铁矿黄铜矿、块状黄铁矿黄铜矿闪锌矿、块状黄铁矿闪锌矿黄铜矿和块状闪锌矿。文中在对各类含金硫化物矿石进行详细的矿相学研究基础上,结合扫描电子显微镜与能谱仪联用技术(SEM/EDS),对硫化物样品中金、银的赋存状态进行研究。结果表明,4种块状硫化物中的主要矿物形成于多个期次,主要包括VMS成矿期(黄铁矿阶段、闪锌矿黄铜矿黝铜矿方铅矿阶段、石英重晶石阶段)、热液叠加期(石英黄铁矿黄铜矿闪锌矿方铅矿阶段)和表生期(铜蓝纤铁矿阶段)。矿区首次发现4颗金银金属互化物(银金矿、碲银矿),其较大的化学成分差异指示了热液环境由中酸性中性转变为更有利于Au、Ag迁移沉淀的偏碱性。后期的偏碱性热液对VMS成矿期形成矿物产生了交代作用,使得Au、Ag活化再富集。由于后期热液叠加改造,红海VMS型矿床中Au、Ag不仅赋存于VMS成矿期后期中低温闪锌矿黄铜矿阶段,也赋存于VMS成矿期早期中高温黄铁矿阶段,并贯穿整个热液叠加期。各含金矿物组合中除4颗金银金属互化物外Au多呈显微不可见状态,推测Au、Ag主要以原子或离子形式赋存于矿物晶格中或矿物空位处。  相似文献

五台山—恒山绿岩带Au、Ag、Cu矿床可分为二大类型:(1)再生型金银铜矿,产在包括岩浆岩在内的各类岩石断裂构造中,与岩浆期后热液有关;(2)变生型金银铜矿,产于各类变质岩中,具有层控特征(即绿岩型金矿)。在地球化学特征上,再生型矿床与变生型矿床相比,矿体及围岩中Mo、Ag、Pb、Zn、Cd等成矿及伴生元素明显富集;K2O、Rb、Sr、Ba、Th、U也明显富集,是后期岩浆热液作用的结果;Hg、F的明显富集则与后期构造活动有关;Zn/Cd比值较低,说明受到后期岩浆侵入影响;Th/U比值低,可能指示富钙的酸性岩环境。再生型Au矿化的元素组合为Cd、As、Ni、Ag、Sb、Au、Hg(Bi),再生型Ag矿化的元素组合为As、Sb、Ag、Cd、Cu、Ni(Mo、Pb、Zn、Bi),变生型Au矿化的元素组合较简单,只为Au、Hg、As或Au、Cu。上述地球化学特征不仅可以有效地区分矿化类型,而且可以作为地球化学找矿和评价的指标  相似文献

赵家堡子金矿位于猫岭-卧龙泉金矿化集中区,是典型的中低温热液矿床。通过区域变质作用,使岩层中的Au、Ag等成矿元素活化,随着变质热液运移到有利的构造部位初步富集;通过应力作用,使岩石发生塑性变形,形成了北西向的韧性剪切带。同时,使Au、Ag等成矿元素再次活化转移、富集;通过后期构造岩浆的大面积侵入,形成了叠加在韧性剪切带之上的北西向韧-脆性断裂和北东向的脆性断裂,同时宏大的热源使地层中的Au再次活化、迁移、富集,同岩浆所带来的大量成矿物质一起在有利的构造部位富集成矿,是本区金矿的主要成矿阶段。  相似文献

Since the 80's, studies have shown that Au is mobile in supergene lateritic surficial conditions. They are based either on petrological, thermodynamic studies, or experimental works. In contrast, few studies have been done on the mobility of the Pt group elements (PGE). Moreover, at the present time, no study has addressed the differential mobility of Au, Ag and Pd from natural alloys in the supergene environment. The aim of this study is to understand the supergene behavior, in lateritic conditions, of Au–Ag–Pd alloys of the Au ore locally called Jacutinga at the Maquiné Mine, Iron Quadrangle, Minas Gerais state, Brazil.The field work shows that the host rock is a “Lake Superior type” banded iron formation (BIF) and that the Au mineralization originates from sulfide-barren hydrothermal processes. Primary Ag–Pd-bearing Au has developed as xenomorphous particles between hematite and quartz grains. The petrological study indicates that the most weathered primary Au particles with rounded shapes and pitted surfaces were found, under the duricrust, within the upper friable saprolite. This layer, however is not the most weathered part of the lateritic mantle, but it is where the quartz dissolution resulting porosity is the most developed. The distribution of Au contents in the weathered rocks are controlled by the initial hydrothermal primary pattern. No physical dispersion has been found. Most of the particles are residual and very weakly weathered. This characterizes early stages of Au particle weathering in agreement with the relatively low weathering gradient of the host itabiritic formations that leads essentially to the development of isostructural saprolite lateritic mantle. Limited dissolution of primary Au particles issued from the friable saprolite induces Pd–Ag depleted rims compared to primary Au particle Pd–Ag contents.In addition, limited very short distance in situ dissolution/reprecipitation processes have been found at depth within the primary mineralization, as illustrated by tiny supergene, almost pure, Au particles. The supergene mobility order Pd>Ag>Au as reflecting early weathering stages of Au–Ag–Pd alloys under lateritic conditions is proposed.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to delineate and separate mineralization phases based on surface lithogeochemical Au, Ag, As and Cu data, using the Concentration–Area (C–A) fractal method in the Touzlar epithermal Au–Ag (Cu) deposit, NW Iran. Four mineralization phases delineated by multifractal modeling for these elements are correlated with the findings of mineralization phases from geological studies. The extreme phase of Au mineralization is higher than 3.38 ppm, which is correlated with the main sulfidation phase, whereas Ag extreme phase (higher than 52.48 ppm) is associated with silicic veins and veinlets. The resulting multifractal modeling illustrates that Au and Ag have two different mineralization trends in this area. Extreme (higher than 398.1 ppm) and high mineralization phases of Cu from the C–A method correlate with hydrothermal breccias and main sulfidation stage in the deposit, respectively. Different stages of Au mineralization have relationships with As enrichment, especially in high and extreme (higher than 7.9%) phases. The obtained results were compared with fault distribution patterns, showing a positive correlation between mineralization phases and the faults present in the deposit. Moreover, mineralization phases of these elements demonstrate a good correlation with silicification and silicic veins and veinlets.  相似文献

南秦岭南部褶皱带是秦岭造山带的重要组成部分,随着找矿勘查工作的深入,相继发现了一系列金、银、锑、铅、锌、铜矿床(点),成为陕西省又一重要有色、贵金属成矿带。南秦岭南部元古宙至中生代多次发生火山成矿作用、沉积或喷流沉积成矿作用和构造-岩浆成矿作用,金、银、锑、铅、锌、铜成矿具有一定的规律,找矿前景好。从资源潜力及经济意义上来看,金应该是该区的主攻矿种。同时,应该兼顾银、锑、铅、锌、铜的找矿工作。开展自水江-留坝成矿带金、银锑找矿、牛山隆起北缘成矿带金铜多金属找矿和红椿坝断裂两侧铜金找矿是主要找矿方向。  相似文献

The Yinshan deposit in the Jiangnan tectonic belt in South China consists of Pb‐Zn‐Ag and Cu‐Au ore bodies. This deposit contains approximately 83 Mt of the Cu‐Au ores at 0.52% Cu and 0.8 g/t Au, and 84 Mt of the Pb‐Zn‐Ag ores at 1.25% Pb, 1.02% Zn and 33.3 g/t Ag. It is hosted by low‐grade metamorphosed sedimentary rocks and mafic volcanic rocks of the lower Mesoproterozoic Shuangqiaoshan Group, and continental volcanic rocks of the Jurassic Erhuling Group and dacitic subvolcanic rocks. The ore bodies mainly consist of veinlets of sulfide minerals and sulfide‐disseminated rocks, which are divided into Cu‐Au and Pb‐Zn‐Ag ore bodies. The Cu‐Au ore bodies occur in the area close to a dacite porphyry stock (No. 3 stock), whereas Pb‐Zn‐Ag bodies occur in areas distal from the No. 3 stock. Muscovite is the main alteration mineral associated with the Cu‐Au ore bodies, and muscovite and chlorite are associated with the Pb‐Zn‐Ag ores. A zircon sensitive high‐resolution ion microprobe U‐Pb age from the No. 3 dacite stock suggests it was emplaced in Early Jurassic. Three 40Ar‐39Ar incremental‐heating mineral ages from muscovite, which are related to Cu‐Au and Pb‐Zn‐Ag mineralization, yielded 179–175 Ma. These muscovite ages indicate that Cu‐Au mineralization occurred at 178.2±1.4 Ma (2σ), and Pb‐Zn‐Ag mineralization at 175.4±1.2 Ma (2σ) and 175.3±1.1 Ma (2σ), which supports a restricted period for the mineralization. The Early Jurassic ages for the mineralization at Yinshan are similar to that of the porphyry Cu mineralization at Dexing in Jiangnan tectonic belt, and suggest that the polymetallic mineralization occurred in a regional transcompressional tectonic regime.  相似文献
