运用基于经验的灰色关联度分析法对控制大型工程区域稳定性的优势断裂进行分级,该方法以时间优势指标(RT)、规模优势指标(RL)、距离优势指标(RD)、活动周期与活动史指标(RR)以及综合指标(RZ)作为灰色关联度分析对象,并根据最大关联度识别原则,获得优势断裂等级的判定结果。这一方法克服了过去优势断裂评价中程序繁琐,各等级之间指标界限不明确的缺点,为优势断裂评价和优势面专家系统提供了新的思路。  相似文献

近代城市地下生命线工程要求对埋藏基岩中的活动断裂作出工程评价,以判断其是否有出现地表破裂的可能。 本文提出了对研究活动断裂的3项内容,即:“活动断裂的活动时间下限、地震复发周期及活动断裂的活动速率;对不同的断裂活动机制,即蠕动和粘滑,从覆盖层厚薄两种情况分析了对地基所产生的影响。 作者通过超声地震模型实验对覆盖层横向非均一性影响地下生命线工程的特点进行了研究,结果表明,横向非均一的覆盖层在地震过程中对地下生命线工程影响显著,不可忽视。  相似文献

系统查阅谷德振先生的生前论著,发现他不仅是国内外著名的工程地质学家,而且还是我国工程地震研究的开拓者。早在治淮工程开始就注意工程建设中的地震问题,1959年新丰江水库诱发地震后,特别关注工程地震问题,提出了工程区域地震稳定性评价的科学思路与技术方法,提出了活动断层的新概念,建议把晚更新世以来活动断裂称为活断层,并提出了从区域构造发展历史出发识别活断层的方法,提出了水库诱发地震是水库水体荷载与沿断裂带库水下渗引起的强度弱化和孔隙压力共同作用的科学观点等。他把上述观点、思路与方法,成功应用到新丰江水库诱发地震治理、葛洲坝工程与丹江口工程坝址勘选等一系列重大工程实践之中。  相似文献

优势结构面理论已逐渐在岩土工程中应用。首次将物元模糊耦合评价方法应用于岩体优势结构面的确定中,提出基于物元可拓法的模糊综合评判模型。该模型把易滑岩层的结构面状况作为物元的事物,以结构面的各项几何、物理参数指标及其相应的模糊量值构造复合模糊物元,通过关联度计算,实现对优势结构面的判定。该模型能很好地处理易滑岩层优势结构面计算过程中岩土体性质、规模、产状、分形优势指标及活动状况等不确定的模糊因素,为路基易滑岩层优势结构面的评判提供了一种新途径。此方法克服了传统方法确定优势结构面只考虑数量优势而忽略质量优势的缺点,使结构面评价更合理。通过介绍这种方法的基本理论和操作步骤,并在一工程实例中加以运用。可以看出,该模型有效地保证了工程优势结构面计算中评判的客观性和指标的相容性,大大提高了计算的精度与效率。  相似文献

在地下水数值模拟过程中,由于介质的空间变异性大,水文地质参数的优分工至今仍是一个重要而又难以解决的问题,本文将非饱和带土壤中的优势流概念推广到岩溶裂隙介质中,系统地分析了形成优势流的优势结构面控水机理,结合中国北方岩溶特征提出了实际工作中优势参数分方法,并依据有限元方法进一步求解,实例计算表明:利用优势面分析方法可以确定参数最优分区,所计算结果与实际情况基本一致,该结论对地下水流数值模拟参数的识别提供一种新的途径,同时对中国北方岩溶区地下水优势流的研究地以及地下水资源的科学评价等具有重要的参考价值。  相似文献

Chlorite peridotites from Almklovdalen in southwest Norway were studied to understand the deformation processes and seismic anisotropy in the upper mantle. The lattice preferred orientation (LPO) of olivine and chlorite was determined using electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD)/scanning electron microscopy. A sample with abundant garnet showed [100] axes of olivine aligned sub-parallel to lineation, and [010] axes aligned subnormal to foliation: A-type LPO. Samples rich in chlorite showed different olivine LPOs. Two samples showed [001] axes aligned sub-parallel to lineation, and [010] axes aligned subnormal to foliation: B-type LPO. Two other samples showed [100] axes aligned sub-parallel to lineation, and [001] axes aligned subnormal to foliation: E-type LPO. Chlorite showed a strong LPO characterized by [001] axes aligned subnormal to foliation with a weak girdle subnormal to lineation. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy of the specimens revealed that the olivines with A-type LPO contain a small amount (170 ppm H/Si) of water. In contrast, the olivines with B-type LPOs contain a large amount (340 ppm H/Si) of water.

The seismic anisotropy of the olivine and chlorite was calculated. Olivine showed Vp anisotropy of up to 3.8% and a maximum Vs anisotropy of up to 2.7%. However, the chlorite showed a much stronger Vp anisotropy, up to 21.1%, and a maximum Vs anisotropy of up to 31.7%. A sample with a mixture of 25% of olivine and 75% of chlorite can produce a Vp anisotropy of 14.2% and a maximum Vs anisotropy of 22.9%. Because chlorite has a wide stability field at high pressure and high temperature in the subduction zone, the strong LPO of chlorite can be a source of the observed trench-normal or trench-parallel seismic anisotropy in the mantle wedge as well as in subducting slabs depending on the dipping angle of slab in a subduction zone where chlorite is stable.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Strong seismic anisotropy is observed in many subduction zones. This effect is attributed partly to subducting oceanic crust that is transformed into blueschist facies rocks. Because blueschist facies constituents such as glaucophane, epidote, and phengite show strong anisotropic elasticity, seismic anisotropy in subducting oceanic crust can be attributed to the lattice preferred orientation (LPO) of these minerals. We studied the deformation fabrics and seismic properties of phengite-rich epidote–glaucophane schists from the Franciscan Complex of Ring Mountain, California. The samples are composed mainly of glaucophane, epidote, and phengite. Some samples contain abundant phengite, the maximum being 40%. The LPOs of glaucophane showed that the [001] axes are aligned subparallel to lineation, and both (110) poles and [100] axes are aligned subnormal to foliation. The epidote [001] axes are aligned subnormal to foliation, with both (110) and (010) poles aligned subparallel to lineation. The LPOs of phengite are characterized by the maxima of [001] axes subnormal to foliation, and both (110) and (010) poles and [100] axes are aligned in a girdle subparallel to foliation. The phengite showed substantially strong seismic anisotropy (AVP = 42%, max.AVS = 37%). The glaucophane schist with abundant phengite showed significantly stronger seismic anisotropy (AVP = 30%, max.AVS = 23%) than the epidote–glaucophane schist (AVP = 13%, max.AVS = 9%). When the subduction angle of phengite-rich glaucophane schist is considered, the polarization direction of the fast S-waves for vertically propagating S-waves changed to a nearly trench-parallel direction for the subduction angle of 45?60°, and the S-wave anisotropy became stronger for vertically propagating S-waves with increasing subduction angles. Our data showed that phengite-rich blueschist facies rock can therefore contribute to the strong trench-parallel seismic anisotropy occurring at the subducting oceanic crust and at the slab–mantle interface in many subduction zones.  相似文献

We ask the question whether petrofabric data from anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) analysis of deformed quartzites gives information about shape preferred orientation (SPO) or crystallographic preferred orientation (CPO) of quartz. Since quartz is diamagnetic and has a negative magnetic susceptibility, 11 samples of nearly pure quartzites with a negative magnetic susceptibility were chosen for this study. After performing AMS analysis, electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) analysis was done in thin sections prepared parallel to the K1K3 plane of the AMS ellipsoid. Results show that in all the samples quartz SPO is sub-parallel to the orientation of the magnetic foliation. However, in most samples no clear correspondance is observed between quartz CPO and K1 (magnetic lineation) direction. This is contrary to the parallelism observed between K1 direction and orientation of quartz c-axis in the case of undeformed single quartz crystal. Pole figures of quartz indicate that quartz c-axis tends to be parallel to K1 direction only in the case where intracrystalline deformation of quartz is accommodated by prism <c> slip. It is therefore established that AMS investigation of quartz from deformed rocks gives information of SPO. Thus, it is concluded that petrofabric information of quartzite obtained from AMS is a manifestation of its shape anisotropy and not crystallographic preferred orientation.  相似文献

以南京地铁为例,运用优势面理论分析方法,对控制城市浅埋隧道稳定性的优势断裂进行了分析。并对土体中具有规模效应的构筑物的稳定性分析发展了一套工程地质层组划分和优势层判定的分析方法。通过对南京地铁场区优势断裂和优势层的分析。确定南京-湖熟断裂和定淮门-彭楼断裂为控制场址区工程地基稳定性的场区优势断裂,并控制着鼓楼岗和小红山地铁隧道的稳定性;地铁隧道在土层中最佳持力层为O3的硬粘土层Ⅲ1,其次为Q3的软粘土层Ⅲ2。敏感层为Q3的软粘土层Ⅱ2和饱和松砂层Ⅱ4,在保证工程的稳定性和经济的可行性情况下,地铁隧道的底部标高以-5--15m为宜。  相似文献

We present a petrophysical analysis of upper mantle xenoliths, collected in the Quaternary alkali basalt fields (Series III and IV) from the island of Lanzarote. The samples consist of eight harzburgite and four dunite nodules, 5 to 15 cm in size, and exhibit a typical protogranular to porphyroclastic texture. An anomalous foliation resulting from strong recovery processes is observed in half of the specimens. The lattice preferred orientations (LPO) of olivine, orthopyroxene and clinopyroxene were measured using electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). In most samples, olivine exhibits LPOs intermediate between the typical single crystal texture and the [100] fiber texture. Occasionally, the [010] fiber texture was also observed. Simultaneous occurrence of both types of fiber textures suggests the existence of more than one deformation regime, probably dominated by a simple shear component under low strain rate and moderate to high temperature. Orthopyroxene and clinopyroxene display a weaker but significant texture. The LPO data were used to calculate the seismic properties of the xenoliths at PT conditions obtained from geothermobarometry, and were compared to field geophysical data reported from the literature. The velocity of P-waves (7.9 km/s) obtained for a direction corresponding to the existing seismic transect is in good agreement with the most recent geophysical interpretation. Our results are consistent with a roughly W–E oriented fastest P-wave propagation direction in the uppermost mantle beneath the Canary Islands, and with the lithosphere structure proposed by previous authors involving a crust–mantle boundary at around 18 km in depth, overlaid by intermediate material between 11 and 18 km.  相似文献

Electron Back-Scatter Diffraction (EBSD), which provides an easy way of acquiring large numbers of individual crystallographic orientation data from different phases, has been applied to the study of magmatic fabrics. Using this technique, the crystallographic preferred orientation (CPO) of plagioclase, biotite, orthopyroxene, hornblende and quartz in natural tonalites and quartzdiorites (from the Santa Olalla Igneous Complex, SW Iberia) deformed during the magmatic stage have been determined. Plagioclase is the coarser phase defining the main fabric in each sample, whereas biotite can display either the same fabric as plagioclase or a completely different one. The differences between these two phases occur because: (1) smaller phases interact with the larger ones to produce more random orientations, (2) under simple shear, finer phases can completely rotate giving a girdle included in the XZ plane, (3) finer phases can more easily preserve relict fabrics, while the coarser phases are completely reoriented by the last stress tensor. The last phases to crystallize show weak to completely random CPOs (hornblende) or completely random distributions (quartz). The study was completed with a shape preferred orientation analysis using the Intercept Method in order to detect weak magmatic lineations, and numerical modelling simulations of theoretically equivalent simple shear situations for each sample.  相似文献
