长白山天池火山双岩浆房岩浆作用与互动式喷发   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
广义的长白山火山在我国境内包括天池火山、望天鹅火山、图们江火山和龙岗火山,是我国最大的第四纪火山岩分布区。长白山各个火山区的火山活动具有此起彼伏的穿时性特征,天池火山之下地壳和地幔两个岩浆房具有上下呼应、互动式喷发之特点。一方面来自地幔的钾质粗面玄武岩浆直接喷出地表,在天池火山锥体内外形成诸多小火山渣锥;另一方面钾质粗面玄武岩浆持续补给地壳岩浆房,发生岩浆分离结晶作用和混合作用,形成双峰式火山岩特征并触发千年大喷发。西太平洋板块俯冲-东北亚大陆弧后引张是长白山天池火山喷发的动力学机制。  相似文献

本文新提出的年代学和岩石化学结果,进一步从天池火山与区域火山活动的关系,论述了天池火山造盾、造锥历史和岩浆结晶分异转型的时间约束,早更新世早期(2Ma前)开始粗面玄武岩的造盾,早更新世晚期(约1Ma)粗面玄武岩向粗安岩、粗面岩演化,中更新世是粗面岩造锥的主阶段,到了晚更新世(约0.1Ma)粗面岩向碱流岩演化。在中-晚更新世来自地壳岩浆房的粗面岩、碱流岩造锥过程中,来自地幔的粗面玄武岩浆喷发活动始终没有间断过。由于来自地幔粗面玄武质岩浆持续向地壳岩浆房补给,所以天池火山是一座长寿命的火山。岩浆的结晶分异作用和混合作用是天池火山岩浆演化的两个最重要过程,前者形成天池火山双峰式火山岩分布特征,后者成为天池火山喷发的触发机制。天池火山在晚更新世-全新世碱流质岩浆主喷发期兼有少量玄武质粗安岩、粗安岩或粗面质岩浆的交替喷出,揭示了天池火山的地壳岩浆房熔体的分层结构特点,由于来自地幔粗面玄武质岩浆注入地壳岩浆房,导致不同层位岩浆的扰动和混合作用,触发天池火山的喷发。  相似文献

天池火山的发展经历了钾质粗面玄武岩造盾、粗面岩-碱流岩造锥和全新世碱流质岩浆的爆破喷发.钾质粗面玄武岩在天池火山锥体外围呈"裙状"分布,不整合覆盖在中生代花岗岩风化壳或砾石层之上,其时代介于2.0~1.2 Ma的早更新世.造盾结束之后,约1 Ma后钾质粗面玄武岩在地壳岩浆房经历了岩浆结晶分异作用.  相似文献

根据岩浆演化和地球物理深部探测,天池火山之下存在地壳和地幔双层岩浆房。地幔玄武质岩浆向地壳岩浆房的补给,保持了天池火山逾百万年持续不断的喷发活动。本文从天池火山千年大喷发浮岩中的玄武质粗安岩一粗安岩角砾和条带状岩浆的岩相学、矿物学和岩石化学研究,提出地幔的粗面玄武质岩浆向地壳岩浆房的注入,触发千年大喷发,初步探讨了天池火山千年大喷发的岩浆混合作用与喷发机制。  相似文献

图们江流域新生代火山岩以溢流式喷发为特征,其主要岩石类型以拉斑玄武岩为主,含少量玄武质粗安岩、碱性玄武岩、玄武质安山岩和粗面玄武岩。根据图们江流域火山岩的Mg#(Mg#=100Mg^2+/(Mg^2++Fe^2+))值多数≤60,Ni含量〈100μg/g和主、微量元素地球化学特征综合表明,形成火山岩的岩浆不是原始岩浆,它们是原始岩浆在上地幔经历了橄榄石、辉石分离结晶作用后形成的以拉斑玄武岩为主,包括碱性玄武岩和粗面玄武岩等演化岩浆,结晶分异作用是岩浆演化过程的主要控制因素。拉斑玄武质岩浆在上升过程中发生了不同程度的壳源物质同化混染作用,发生在上地壳遭受较大程度混染的岩浆K2O含量明显偏高(〉2.6%),形成玄武质粗安岩。  相似文献

龙岗火山是中国少数几个近代仍有喷发的活动火山区之一,在1700多平方千米火山区内形成100多个玄武质岩浆爆炸成因的火山锥和低平火口湖(龙湾),并有约1600 a BP喷发的金龙顶子活火山。龙岗火山岩是单一的粗面玄武岩,具有一致的化学成分,表明岩浆上升过程中很少演化,推测龙岗火山岩来自同源地幔岩浆。  相似文献

腾冲火山活动分老期(包括上新世、早更新世和中更新世)和新期(中更新世—全新世,包括马鞍山、黑空山和打鹰山),代表性火山岩分别是玄武岩、英安质熔结凝灰岩、玄武质粗安岩和粗安岩,均属于高钾钙碱性火山岩。新期马鞍山、黑空山、打鹰山火山活动至少可以追溯到中更新世,岩浆成分从中更新世粗面玄武岩—玄武质粗安岩演化到晚更新世—全新世粗安岩。它们有一共同的岩浆源(或岩浆房),岩浆形成演化与壳幔作用和岩浆房内的辉石分离结晶作用有关。根据岩浆演化趋势,现在腾冲活火山之下岩浆房中的岩浆将向更富碱和富硅的粗面质或流纹质岩浆演化。  相似文献

火山岩成分的多样性是岩浆物理和化学过程在其产生、运移、存储和喷发过程中的综合反映。长白山火山区自上新世以来喷发了大量的玄武质火山岩,其成分变化范围较大(Mg O 3.2%~7.8%)。以往研究认为其成分的变化主要受地幔不均一、部分熔融程度和分离结晶的影响,没有明显地壳混染。本研究发现这些玄武岩经历了不同程度的上、下地壳的混染。同时,结合火山岩的年龄发现玄武岩地球化学成分和同位素比值随时间呈现脉动式的变化。根据87Sr/86Sr和Mg O的突变点可以分为3段:5~2Ma,2~1Ma,1~0Ma。通过定性和定量的模拟发现地幔不均一性和部分熔融程度差异造成玄武岩成分的变化有限,而分离结晶、地壳混染和岩浆补给的岩浆作用是形成玄武岩成分随时间脉动变化的主要原因。并结合能量约束-补给-混染-分离结晶算法(ECRAFC)模拟得出以下结论:天池和望天鹅喷发中心的玄武质岩浆最初都存储于同一下地壳岩浆房,可能由于上地壳构造差异导致岩浆迁移路径和存储区不同;长白山岩浆房迁移有从5~2Ma阶段由下地壳向上地壳逐渐变浅,2~1Ma阶段由上地壳向下地壳快速变深的规律,而1~0Ma阶段的玄武岩由岩浆从下地壳直接快速喷出地表形成;长白山玄武质岩浆的活动与本区的构造断裂活动密切的关系,5Ma以来,火山岩成分随时间的周期性波动可能与本区构造应力的周期性的强拉张-弱拉张过程有关。  相似文献

正长白山天池火山位于吉林省东部的中朝边境地区,为地球上最大的活火山之一。前人将其形成演化划分为玄武质火山岩造盾、粗面质火山岩造锥和碱流质火山大爆发3个演化阶段。本文所讨论的漫江期属天池火山造盾晚期(2~1Ma)。本期火山活动的产物为漫江玄武岩,相当于白山玄武岩层位,时代为早更新世早期。2013年,沈阳地质矿产研究所首次在天池火山地区开展了以科学研究为目的钻探工程,其中CZK07钻位于北坡"U"形谷中,距天池北泄口约  相似文献

长白山火山岩浆柱是一个在长白山区地下总体呈串珠状排列的向东南倾斜的层状富岩浆集合体,岩浆柱宽度宽者300~500 km,窄者30~50 km,深度延伸可达上千km。在这个岩浆柱内,热物质聚集与挥发份富集可以发生部分熔融而形成不同成分与密度的岩浆,岩浆聚集上升至某个深度时的停滞聚集又可形成水平向扩展的岩浆房,压力作用下岩浆房内岩浆演化出密度较轻的岩浆则可进一步上升直至喷出地表。天池火山的母岩浆粗面玄武岩来自地幔岩浆库,由其演化形成的碱型系列粗面岩类和碱流岩类岩石则来自地壳岩浆房。拉斑玄武岩系列的偏酸性岩石来源的地壳岩浆房与碱型系列碱流岩来源的地壳岩浆房深度位置也不相同。天池火山造盾玄武岩TiO2含量和SiO2含量之间反相关关系不能单纯用岩浆房分异结晶来解释,TiO2含量较高的样品代表了源区地幔的较低熔融程度的熔体,而低程度熔融的岩浆来源于更深的位置。玄武质岩浆“熔融结束”的深度随时间的增加而增加的过程控制了岩浆形成深度随时间的增加而增加并且岩浆形成速率随时间的增加而降低的规律。天池火山碱流质岩浆房千年大喷发时岩浆超压极大值Δpmax=625 MPa,层状岩浆房半径35 km,喷出岩浆层厚700 m,喷出岩浆体积30 km3;粗面质喷发的岩浆房超压极大值Δpmax=15 MPa以上。天池火山千年大喷发时临界喷发熔体黏度μcritm>27×1010 Pa·s-1,碱流质岩浆是从一个粗面质岩浆母体经几万年的结晶分异时间演化得来的。气象站寄生火山活动喷发前临界熔体黏度μcritm=12×1011 Pa·s-1,这极高的熔体黏度与喷发物中含有大量晶体与气泡相吻合。千年大喷发级别的大规模喷发周期上万年,远大于小规模喷发几百年以内的时间周期。天池火山作用造盾阶段因为玄武岩都直接喷出了地表,多数传导与扩散的岩浆热都没有用于加热深地壳,所以早期加热效率不高。在1~16 Ma之后造锥阶段在深地壳内形成残余的部分熔融带并阻止了玄武岩的喷发,系统的热效率变得很高,残余熔体生产率也就得到了加速。全新世造伊格尼姆岩喷发阶段大量的演化的碱流质残余熔体因重力不稳定而侵入上地壳内,并且形成大得足以引起造破火山口喷发的岩浆房。  相似文献

在的年来对长白山天池火山、五大连池火山和腾冲火山三个火山区火山岩岩石学的主、微量元素研究的基础上,新做出18个火山岩Sr-Nd同位素数据,进一步讨论地幔源区特征与岩浆成因演化。五大连池富钾火山岩浆源区由原始地幔与EMI两个地幔端员混合而成,岩浆直接来自地幔,未受地壳物质明显混染和分离结晶作用影响;天池火山各阶段火山岩一致的似原始地幔特征,可能指示存在巨大的壳内岩浆房和持续的幔源岩浆的补给;腾冲火山岩的高钾钙碱性岩浆源区为由陆内壳-幔相互作用导致的原始地幔与EMⅡ两个地幔端员不同程度混合而成。  相似文献

长白山天池火山老虎洞期火山活动发生在更新世晚期白头山组碱性粗面岩喷发之后,火山活动的产物主要为玄武岩质火山碎屑岩和少量玄武岩质或粗面岩质熔岩;老虎洞组火山岩的稀土元素地球化学特征介于早期玄武岩和气象站组碱流岩两者之间,将二者有机地联系在一起,使整个天池火山岩的演化趋势更加清晰。老虎洞组火山岩的存在充分证明了天池火山的粗面岩类与该区早期的大量玄武岩具有成因联系。长白山天池火山活动的成因并非简单地用西太平洋板块的俯冲作用所能解释的。  相似文献

Primitive magmas in the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt (TMVB) span a wide geochemical range that includes calc-alkaline basalt and basaltic andesite, potassic shoshonites, and intraplate alkaline basalts, indicating that the subarc mantle wedge is chemically heterogeneous. The aim of this study is to experimentally constrain the origins of potassic lavas that have erupted along the volcanic front in the TMVB. We used a piston-cylinder apparatus to determine the P–T–H2O near-liquidus phase relations for two primitive potassic lavas: a hornblende trachybasalt (shoshonite) from Cerro La Pilita in the central TMVB and a high-K calc-alkaline basalt from Ayutla in the western TMVB. Experiments were conducted at mantle pressures (0.8–2.5 GPa) and temperatures (1,100–1,400 °C) with 1.5–6 wt% H2O. Results show that both samples were last equilibrated with an olivine + clinopyroxene assemblage at upper mantle pressures. Integrating our results with trace element characteristics, we conclude that the potassic magmas formed by a complex, multistage process in which melts from the hottest part of the mantle wedge either reequilibrated with clinopyroxene-rich veins in the shallow upper mantle or caused melting of such veins by advective heating. We combine our results with previous experiments on TMVB lavas to provide an along-arc perspective of melt equilibration depths in the mantle wedge. The results suggest that although melts may initially form deep in the wedge, they commonly reequilibrate with heterogeneous mantle at shallower depths. Primitive, medium-K basaltic andesites in the TMVB form by reequilibration with harzburgite, which we infer to be a common lithology in the upper mantle, whereas some potassic magmas like the ones studied here form through reequilibration with or melting of veins of olivine + clinopyroxene ± phlogopite. Though somewhat rare at the volcanic front relative to the more abundant medium-K volcanic rocks, the potassic magmas are an important lava type for revealing mantle chemical heterogeneities.  相似文献

本文简述近些年中国年轻火山岩的铀钍非平衡研究进展.中国东部(五大连池,天池,镜泊湖,龙岗,大兴安岭,海南岛)的年轻火山岩都显示显著的230Th过剩,表明岩浆来源于含石榴子石的深部地幔,并且部分熔融速率低.其中五大连池主要来自深部(≥75km)的岩石圈地幔,天池、镜泊湖、龙岗和大兴安岭岩浆主要来自软流圈地幔,而海南岛火山岩则显示下地慢特征.中国东部年轻火山岩中U-Th非平衡并没有显示俯冲的太平洋板块对年轻火山岩的物质贡献.我们近来发现年轻火山岩中含有锆石.长白山天池火山岩千年喷发的碱流岩中的锆石U-Th等时线年龄为7~10ka.腾冲马鞍山的锆石表面U-Th等时线年龄为55ka,而锆石内部年龄是90ka.锆石年龄可能表明,相对于腾冲马鞍山的小喷发,大喷发的长白山天池火山岩浆滞留年龄短.长白山天池火山的很短的滞留时间表明其存在危险性.  相似文献

The Plio-Quaternary Ayutla and Tapalpa volcanic fields in thevolcanic front of the western Mexican Volcanic Belt (WMVB) containa wide variety of alkaline volcanic rocks, rather than onlycalc-alkaline rocks as found in many continental arcs. Thereare three principal rock series in this region: an intraplatealkaline series (alkali basalts and hawaiites), a potassic series(lamprophyres and trachylavas), and a calc-alkaline series.Phlogopite-clinopyroxenite and hornblende-gabbro cumulate xenolithsfrom an augite minette lava flow have orthocumulate textures.The phlogopite-clinopyroxenite xenoliths also contain apatiteand titanomagnetite and probably formed by accumulation of mineralsfractionated from an augite minette more primitive than thehost. The intraplate alkaline series is probably generated bydecompression melting of asthenospheric mantle as a result ofcorner flow in the mantle wedge beneath the arc. Alkaline magmasmay be common in the WMVB as a result of prior metasomatism(during Tertiary Sierra Madre Occidental magmatism) of the Mexicansub-arc mantle. Generation of the more evolved andesites anddacites of the calc-alkaline series is due to either combinedassimilation and fractional crystallization (AFC) or magma mixing.The preponderance of alkaline and hydrous lavas in this regiondemonstrates that these lava types are the norm, rather thanthe exception in western Mexico, and occur in regions that arenot necessarily associated with active rifting. Tengchong Cenozoic volcanics that have record key information on the tectonic evolution and mantle features of the southeast margin of the Tibetan Plateau are of great importance because of its unique eruption history spanning the entire Quaternary period. Magma origin and evolution of Tengchong Cenozoic volcanic rocks were studied on the basis of Nd-Sr-Pb isotope and major and trace element data from different eruptions in the Ma’anshan area. Different samples within one eruption show relative identical lithologies, chemical and isotopic compositions. However, the geochemical features for the five eruptions are distinct from each other. These volcanic rocks show low Mg# values (<45), moderate to high fractionation of LREEs and HREEs, and enrichment of Pb and Ba and depletion of Nb. Tengchong Cenozoic volcanic rocks were derived from an enriched mantle based on Nd-Sr-Pb isotopic studies. And lines of evidence show that crustal contamination should be involved before the eruption of different periods of Tengchong Cenozoic volcanic rocks. Older subducted components may be responsible for adakite recycling at various stages of evolution, which results in the origin of the enriched mantle source magma accounting for the isotopic features of Tengchong Cenozoic volcanic rocks. Segregated primitive magma pulsating injected into magma chamber, fractional crystallized and contaminated with crust component. Finally, magmas with distinct chemical and isotopic compositions for each eruption formed. The extension of the northeast segment of the Yingjiang tectonic belt triggered the pulsating eruption of the Cenozoic volcanics in the Tengchong area.  相似文献

Reports of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes originating from volcanoes indicate that seismic activity preceding the eruption is related not only to eruption magnitude and structure of the volcano, but also to viscosity of the lava at the time of eruption. This follows, since lava of higher viscosity meets greater resistance as it ascends from the magma chamber to the earth's surface and, consequently, greater stress will be produced within and beneath the volcano. The writer gives a condensed statistical breakdown of earthquakes and explosive eruptions of Asama Volcano. The Asama earthquakes treated in the report are mainly those of rather low magnitude (T = 1. 0 sec, V = 350) at the Asama Volcano Observatory, situated 4. 2 km east of the center of the summit crater. This investigation showed that most of the explosive eruptions were preceded by an increase in micro-earthquakes. In addition, an experimental formula for predicting volcanic eruptions, based on the statistical relation between frequency of earthquakes originating from Asama and its explosive eruptions.
