全球海平面变化对古地理、古生物、古气候演化以及能源矿产分布具有重要的控制作用。然而,目前学界对深时海平面变化的驱动机制尚不清楚,部分归因于缺乏高精度全球海平面变化的恢复。文章回顾了全球海平面变化研究的起始与发展过程,归纳出五种类型的深时海平面变化重建方法和技术,即地层学、沉积学、洋盆动力学、同位素地球化学方法和大数据技术。并总结了上述研究方法的原理、优势和不足,并以白垩纪全球海平面重建为实例,讨论了当前深时全球海平面重建的难点和争议点,并对未来深时全球海平面变化重建进行了展望。  相似文献

Non-marine strata of Early Cretaceous age ('Wealden facies') are found at outcrop in the type localities of the Wessex Basins, southern England (and adjacent subsurface) and in extensive and thick successions filling the North Celtic Sea Basin. Sedimentology, paleontology, petrology and geochemistry have traditionally been used as evidence in determining the climatic, tectonic and sea level controls on Wealden facies, sedimentary processes and stratigraphy. Analysis of seismic data, through seismic facies and sequence stratigraphic analysis, allows direct comparison of the Wealden in these basins and new interpretations to be made of the tectonic and depositional influences. In the north-eastern end of the North Celtic Sea Basin, tectonic controls on seismic facies can be demonstrated and are related to coarse-grained fan-delta horizons documented in core. In the south-western North Celtic Sea Basin, adjacent to the Cretaceous proto-Atlantic, tectonic controls are less apparent, and changes in relative sea level were probably more important in controlling the preservation of stratigraphic sequences. Where the non-marine Lower Cretaceous succession is imaged clearly, the stratigraphic similarity between parts of the North Celtic Sea and the Weald and Channel Basins suggests a wider control by relative sea-level fluctuations. However, important variations in seismic facies within the basins indicate localized, dominant tectonic control. The recognition of a very distinctive 'lower' Wealden seismic facies, observed as undulatory (?channelized) and downlapping reflections, is contrasted with either the parallel or synsedimentary fault-dominated 'upper' Wealden facies. These seismic characteristics reflect the previously recognized climatic/tectonic change from Hastings to Weald Clay Group environments. The debate on tectonics versus eustacy is further complicated: palaeoclimate appears to be a third process responsible for stratigraphic variation.  相似文献

层序地层学理论为人们理解聚煤作用模式提供了新的思路,通过近二十年的研究,人们认识到含煤岩系旋回性与不同级别的全球海平面变化规律密切相关,认识到有工业价值的煤层形成于基准面(海平面)抬升过程,相继提出幕式聚煤作用、海侵过程成煤、事件成煤作用、海相层滞后阶段聚煤等基于层序地层分析的聚煤作用理论。同时概括出层序地层格架下基于可容空间增加速率与泥炭堆积速率的关系的厚煤层聚集模式。今后的研究将会进一步对不同构造背景下的含煤岩系层序地层格架样式、层序地层格架下的优质煤炭资源聚集模式、煤层在地球演化的长周期过程中的地质意义等方面进行探索,此外,针对中国五大聚煤区的成煤时期及盆地构造背景的特殊性,中国学者还会进一步总结其层序地层格架样式以及聚煤模式,并将其用于指导中国优质煤炭资源预测  相似文献

当代地质学之热点层序地层分析提出于70年代,至今正在成为被广泛注意和应用的学科。在石油勘探领域应用这一新的概念体系和方法已经为储集砂体的预测带来了战略性的变化,并取得了重要成就,特别是低位体系域底界面上的深切谷充填砂体的预测和发现。但是目前也存在着理论上的尖锐争论,其中主要针对全球海平面变化问题,许多学者根据新的资料和模拟结果论证了层序地层样式受控于构造、海平面变化、沉积物补给等多种因素;在许多地区证实的相对海平面变化事件不能轻易地当作全球性事件去进行对比。本文选择了一些重要的代表性著作以及1992年AAPG年会和在北美考察所获信息针对主要的进展和争论进行了综述。  相似文献

The Cryogenian is a critical period in the history of the Earth. It is marked by multiple extreme climate changes that caused alternating global glacial and interglacial intervals. These dramatically changed the sedimentary system, and metal ores and source rocks distributed widely during this period. Therefore, studying the Cryogenian stratigraphic framework and sedimentary basins is important to improve the stratigraphic resolution for metal mineral and hydrocarbon prospecting and exploration in China. This review paper firstly divides three tectonic-stratigraphic regions in China in the Cryogenian, including the tectonic-stratigraphic regions of Great South China, Xingmeng-Tarim, and North China. Secondly, geochronologic data and geological records are combined to clearly depict the Cryogenian sedimentary sequence of continental blocks and micro-continental blocks in different tectonic-stratigraphic regions. The results were used to propose a new comparison scheme of stratigraphy for the Cryogenian in China. Finally, according to differences of sedimentary evolution and tectonic evolvement, sedimentary basins and their lithofacies paleogeography are identified and summarized, respectively.  相似文献

现代层序地层学的理论发展,把沉积过程纳入到地质演化的时空框架中并与地球的多旋回或节律演化结合研究,形成了一套带有革命性的、在等时地层格架中研究沉积作用的新方法,成为了油气资源等沉积矿产预测勘探的重要工具。沉积盆地的沉积充填可划分出与各级沉积旋回相对应的层序地层单元。追踪对比由不整合面或不整合面及其对应的整合面为界的高级别层序地层单元建立的区域性等时地层格架,对盆地构造古地理再造和油气勘探战略性研究至关重要;追踪四、五级等低级别层序地层单元和体系域建立的高精度层序地层格架,可为重点区域或区带的沉积体系和储集体的沉积构成和分布等的解剖提供精细的地层对比基础。依据沉积基准面的变化,从层序内水进到水退的沉积旋回中可划分出正常水退沉积、强制性水退沉积、水进沉积及垂向加积等成因沉积类型。海相或湖相盆地中三级层序地层单元内均可较好地划分出低位、水进、高位及下降体系域。盆地构造作用、气候变化、海、湖平面升降过程对层序发育的控制作用及沉积响应研究,一直是层序地层学或沉积地质分析领域的研究热点。沉积盆地的层序地层序列演化是盆地地球动力学过程的总体响应。层序地层学把盆地古构造、古地理的变迁纳入到统一的地球演化系统中研究,形成了与区域地球演化史或盆地动力学演化相结合的重要研究领域。多旋回盆地或叠合盆地中多期次的构造变革导致了多个区域性不整合面所分隔的多个构造层序的叠加。注重构造—层序地层的结合分析,揭示盆地的层序地层序列与多期盆地构造作用的成因联系,是构造活动盆地或大型叠合盆地沉积地质演化和油气聚集规律研究的关键。盆地构造作用,如前陆盆地多期次的逆冲挠曲沉降和回弹隆起的构造作用、多幕裂陷过程、多期构造反转等与重要不整合及区域性沉积旋回或层序的形成密切相关;而由气候变化引起的海或湖平面变化是控制高频沉积旋回或低级别层序发育的主要因素。在构造活动盆地中,构造坡折带对沉积体系域和沉积相的发育分布具重要控制作用。  相似文献

There have been three revolutions in sedimentary geology. The first two began in the 1960s, consisting of the development of process-response sedimentary models and the application of plate-tectonic concepts to large-scale aspects of basin analysis. The third revolution, that of sequence stratigraphy, began in the late 1970s and helped to draw together the main results of the first two: the knowledge of autogenic processes learned through facies analysis, and the understanding of tectonism implicit in the unravelling of regional plate kinematics. Developments in the use of seismic-reflection data and the evaluation of a hypothesis of global eustasy provided considerable stimulation for stratigraphic research.Current developments in the field of sequence stratigraphy are focusing on three areas. (1) Elaboration of the sequence-architecture models for various configurations of depositional environment and sea-level history. (2) Exploration of various mechanisms for sequence generation, especially tectonism and orbital forcing. (3) Attempts to improve the level of precision in stratigraphic correlation and to refine the geological time scale, as a means to test the model of global eustasy.The growth in the power of computers and our knowledge of physical and chemical processes has led to the evolution of an entirely new way of evaluating earth history, termed quantitative dynamic stratigraphy. Mathematical modelling and numerical simulation of complex earth processes are now possible, and require the collection and integration of a wide array of quantitative and qualitative data sets. Applications include the study of the geodynamic evolution of sedimentary basins, modelling of stratigraphic sequences and global climates, studies of Milankovitch cycles (cyclostratigraphy) and simulation of fluid flow through porous media. The Global Sedimentary Geology Program has brought many of these areas of study together in multidisciplinary, global-scale studies of the sedimentary history of the earth. The results of these studies have wide application to many problems of importance to the human condition, including the past history of global climate change and other environmental concerns. The study of stratigraphy is at the centre of the new view of the earth, termed earth-systems science, which views earth as an ‘organic’ interaction between the lithosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere.  相似文献

从区域构造的观点看, 同板块碰撞有关的前陆盆地是油气聚集的有利地区。两个板块的相互碰撞形成一系列的造山带, 而在相对稳定板块的前缘常常形成前陆盆地。由于前陆盆地的特点, 使它对油气的生成、运移、聚集和保存都十分有利, 世界上前陆盆地是油气最富集的一类盆地。前陆盆地层序地层学是将层序地层学理论应用于褶冲带和前陆盆地的一个特例, 假定物源供给稳定, 前陆盆地可容空间的变化主要受控于构造作用和全球海平面变化。本文通过概括前陆盆地不同级别的地层层序、旋回及其成因, 揭示造山带构造运动、盆地沉积作用和海平面变化之间的内在联系, 进一步研究前陆盆地的沉积一构造演化, 提出前陆盆地的油气潜力主要取决于早期被动边缘发育程度和保存条件, "薄皮"逆掩断层带具一定油气潜力, 具有多种类型油气圈闭, 以及盆地晚期的前缘沉积有利于早期沉积的埋藏、成熟和保存等四项前陆盆地与油气关系的结论和认识, 为油气资源勘探提供理论依据。   相似文献

The Cap Bon Peninsula, belonging to northeastern Tunisia, is located in the Maghrebian Alpine foreland and in the North of the Pelagian block. By its paleoposition, during the Cenozoic, in the edge of the southern Tethyan margin, this peninsula constitutes a geological entity that fossilized the eustatic, tectonic and climatic interactions. Surface and subsurface study carried out in the Cap Bon onshore area and surrounding offshore of Hammamet interests the Miocene deposits from the Langhian-to-Messinian interval time. Related to the basin and the platform positions, sequence and seismic stratigraphy studies have been conducted to identify seven third-order seismic sequences in subsurface (SM1-SM7), six depositional sequences on the Zinnia-1 petroleum well (SDM1-SDM6), and five depositional sequences on the El Oudiane section of the Jebel Abderrahmane (SDM1–SDM5). Each sequence shows a succession of high-frequency systems tract and parasequences. These sequences are separated by remarkable sequence boundaries and maximum flooding surfaces (SB and MFS) that have been correlated to the eustatic cycles and supercycles of the Global Sea Level Chart of Haq et al. (1987). The sequences have been also correlated with Sequence Chronostratigraphic Chart of Hardenbol et al. (1998), related to European basins, allows us to arise some major differences in number and in size. The major discontinuities, which limit the sequences resulted from the interplay between tectonic and climatic phenomena. It thus appears very judicious to bring back these chronological surfaces to eustatic and/or local tectonic activity and global eustatic and climatic controls.  相似文献

近10年来,中国北方(天山-兴蒙构造带)以石炭系—二叠系为目的层的油气基础地质调查在地层划分对比、层序地层、沉积充填与沉积体系、构造改造等基础地质领域,以及石炭系—二叠系烃源岩评价等石油地质领域取得了一系列新认识。天山-兴蒙构造带发育石炭纪—二叠纪与中生代2期叠合盆地,其中中生代盆地群是在未变质的石炭系—二叠系之上发育的上叠盆地。盆地内部及周缘地质体均发现了石炭系—二叠系良好烃源岩。准噶尔、三塘湖、吐哈、银额等盆地以石炭系—二叠系为目的层的油气调查与勘探不断取得新的发现与突破,二连、松辽等盆地相继获得了石炭系—二叠系油气赋存信息。中国北方石炭系—二叠系具有良好的油气地质条件与资源前景,有望成为油气勘探的战略接替新领域。  相似文献

The origin of third-order depositional sequences remains debatable, and in many cases it is not clear whether they were controlled by tectonic activity and/or by eustatic sea-level changes. In Oxfordian and Berriasian–Valanginian carbonate-dominated sections of Switzerland, France, Germany and Spain, high-resolution sequence-stratigraphic and cyclostratigraphic analyses show that the sedimentary record reflects Milankovitch cyclicity. Orbitally induced insolation changes translated into sea-level fluctuations, which in turn controlled accommodation changes. Beds and bedsets formed in rhythm with the precession and 100-kyr eccentricity cycles, whereas the 400-kyr eccentricity cycle contributed to the creation of major depositional sequences. Biostratigraphical data allow the correlation of many of the 400-kyr sequence boundaries with third-order sequence boundaries recognized in European basins. This implies that climatically controlled sea-level changes contributed to the formation of third-order sequences. Furthermore, this cyclostratigraphical approach improves the relative dating of stratigraphic intervals.  相似文献

本文主要介绍了前陆盆地层序地层学的研究现状及急待解决的问题。前陆盆地层序地层学是将层序地层学的理论应用于构造活动区盆地分析的一个特例;前陆盆地二级构造层序代表了盆地不同成盆期的产物;前陆盆地的三级构造层序的成因并非受全球统一海平面变化控制,而与盆缘造山带的区域构造活动、盆内沉积作用和相对海平面变化的联合作用有关,是一个成盆期不同发育阶段的产物;前陆盆地地层的层序反映了前陆盆地构造演化史为一个多旋回的沉积-构造演化史。  相似文献

在进行岩石地层划分时,有必要进行不整合界限地层单位的划分。不整合界限地层单位是顶底以不整合界面为限,而由有关联的若干个基本岩石地层单位──组(群)组成的组合。和岩石地层单位一样,是自然界存在的客观实体。初步建议华北地区划分为8个不整合界限地层单位:桑干河序列、五台山序列、滹沱河序列、秦幽序列、冀鲁序列、三晋序列、燕辽序列、河海序列。不整合界限地层单位的划分、确立,是进行地层格架分析、进行层序地层学研究的前提,有利于以岩石地层单位(即以不整合界限地层单位)编制小比例尺地质图。  相似文献

造山带地区的层序地层往往被视为禁区,以东昆仑三叠系为例,认为造山带除核部外,远离造山带核部地区基本具备了开展层序地层研究的条件,但造山带层序地层与克拉通相比具显著的不同:1)体系域的不完整;2)凝缩段常常缺乏;3)造山带海平面变化特征自始至终呈现剧烈的跳跃式。因而控制造山带海平面变化和层序地层的并不是全球海平面变化,而是区域构造作用和物源控制。从而对造山带层序地层不能套用稳定地区的层序地层模式,而需要从自身特征出发,因地制宜,建立起不同构造环境控制下的海平面变化模式。  相似文献

辽东本溪-桓仁地区古生界发育,是研究地层学、沉积学的典型地区.在简述事件地层学原理和地层事件概念,并对主要地质事件进行初步划分基础上,通过对本溪-桓仁地区1:5万区域地质调查、地层剖面测制研究,对该区古生界,根据地质事件的岩石记录,划分了构造上升和下降、海侵、缺氧、风暴、干燥炎热等6种事件地层单位,8个事件集群,并对各事件地层单位逐一描述,提出事件个体和事件集群、事件沉积层和事件集群沉积段的概念,并探讨了与沉积环境、层序地层的相关性.  相似文献

通过钻井、测井与地震数据,依据不整合面分析、断层活动速率分析与地层的"负向结构"分析,在义和庄凸起东部燕山期内识别出一期发生于中晚侏罗世之交的构造负反转,并据此将义和庄凸起燕山期划分为早期与晚期两个阶段.通过单井与连井层序地层分析,分别建立了燕山早期与晚期的层序地层样式,两者在层序结构及内部沉积充填等方面表现出巨大差异.早期层序地层不具有显著的沉积厚度分异,且格架内部充填河流相沉积;晚期因构造负反转而形成小型拉张断陷盆地,沉积厚度分异明显,内部以扇三角洲沉积充填为主,呈现出对构造负反转的显著响应.燕山期构造-层序地层学的研究可为中国东部其他具有相似构造背景盆地前新生代的油气勘探提供借鉴.  相似文献

在概述南黄海盆地和北黄海盆地区域地质背景的基础上,介绍了横跨2个盆地的HHQY05-1测线的位置和地层属性。通过对2个盆地(主要是HHQY05-1测线)的速度谱、平均速度以及层速度的分析对比,认为2个盆地的地震速度差别较大,南黄海盆地的平均速度总体上小于北黄海盆地的速度,主要是由于2个盆地在地质构造、岩性、地质年代等方面的差异所引起。因此,利用地震速度可以初步了解盆地的构造特征和地质属性。  相似文献

Discontinuity and periodicity of tectonic processes, eustatic fluctuations of the ocean level, volcanic and metallogenic activity, and some other global processes in the Earth’s history are indicative of the pulsatory nature of the Earth’s evolution. Correlation of geomagnetic field variations with global geological processes shows the geomagnetic field polarity to be an indicator of pulsations. The phases of the Earth’s expansion correspond to normal (present-day) polarity, and the planet’s contraction to epochs of reversed polarity. In terms of the concept of geopulsations, the diversity of basic geodynamic regimes of continents is determined by the combination of three factors: the phases of the Earth’s evolution (contraction-expansion), the effects of deep fluid and heat flows (plumes), and the state of the asthenosphere (its depth, thickness, and degree of heating). The general evolution of Phanerozoic ore deposition and the specific metallogenic features of tectonomagmatic cycles may be considered in a new light in view of the Earth’s pulsatory history.  相似文献

地震沉积学是在地震地层学和层序地层学基础上发展起来的、沉积地质学与地球物理学相互交叉的新兴学科,在刻画薄层砂体、表征储集层和预测岩性圈闭等方面发挥了重要作用。在表述地震沉积学发展简史的基础上,介绍了地震沉积学的基本概念、基本原理和主要研究流程;在建立精细层序地层格架基础上,重点阐述了90°相移、分频处理与频谱分解、属性优选、地层切片、地球物理反演、地震岩性解释和RGB(红色、绿色、蓝色)地震属性融合等地震沉积学关键技术以及地震沉积相实例分析。认为中国地震沉积学应该围绕不同类型沉积盆地开展油气勘探阶段地震地貌学(地震沉积相模式)和复杂(多样)地震岩性学综合研究,在油气开发阶段,充分利用RGB地震属性融合等多种地球物理方法技术,开展多种成因类型砂体构型和储集层定量表征研究。综合研究表明,地震沉积学是沉积地质学发展的新航程。  相似文献
