室内地标在室内位置信息服务(location based service,LBS)中发挥着重要作用。针对室外地标提取方法不能完全适用于更为复杂的室内环境的问题,提出了一种显著度定量评价模型用于在室内环境中提取地标。以大型商场的室内环境为研究对象,从视觉、认知、空间3个方面分析影响室内兴趣点(point of interest,POI)显著性的主要因素,并用这些因素构建了室内POI整体显著度评价模型。选择武汉市群光购物中心室内的POI数据进行显著度计算,依据显著度的差异性提取了多层地标,反映不同粒度的室内区域空间知识。提取的多层地标可以作为室内智能导航系统中的重要标识,为在复杂的大型商场内实现快速寻路、多粒度路径导引提供关键线索。  相似文献

相对空间比绝对空间更易于被人理解。行人导航本质是以相对于人的导航环境视觉与空间等相对语义来动态引导行人的过程,即相对导航。目前,GIS导航理论以绝对定位与空间建模为基础,没有充分理解人对相对语义的认知差异,缺乏基于相对语义的导航理论模型。首先,总结了以绝对空间定位与表达为基础的行人导航研究,提出了相对空间感知的行人导航研究新方向。然后,剖析了相对导航研究的理论研究需求,如:行人相对导航数据采集与建模、行人导航环境相对语义的提取、行人导航行为的自动感知分析、行人导航的多感官交互机制、行人导航路径选择与确认机制等。最后,展望了未来行人导航研究与重要创新的3个阶段。  相似文献

提出了一种构建室内行人通行网络的方法,利用矢量建筑图自动构建室内建筑、地标的可视关系,建立行人导航通行规则,支持室内导航路径规划。实验结果表明,此方法能够有效描述室内行人通行规则,并满足拓扑网络构建的实时性需求,减少大规模存储与维护室内路网的压力。在此基础上提出了一种多目标导航路径优化算法,该算法时间开销较低,能够实时地进行路径规划,得到的最优路径与最短路径相比具有更高的地标可见性和覆盖率。  相似文献

Navigation is a task performed in both large and small scale environments. Landmarks within an environment are of great benefit to these navigational tasks, but in large rural environments such landmarks may be sparse. It has been shown that landmarks need not be purely visual and that a change in context for a feature can make it become a landmark against its surroundings (such as being provided with significant meaning). Such meaning could be added through personal experience or by informing the observer via some form of communication. To investigate the effects of providing such contextual information on navigational performance, experiments were conducted in a large rural virtual environment where the delivery method of the information was varied between onscreen and PDA display. Users were instructed to perform a route tracing navigation task. In some instances users were presented with textual information about specific locations within the environment which appeared when they were in the vicinity of the location. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analyzed, with results indicating that although the actual performance in the task was not significantly improved, users felt that their performance was better and the task easier when they were presented with the contextual information.  相似文献

针对传统极区航行通常采用格网导航执行大圆航线,大圆航线上格网航向角不同不利于航行控制以及大圆航线在极区投影图上不完全投影为直线引起固有原理性误差的问题,借鉴中低纬度地区等角航线上地理航向角相等以及在墨卡托投影图上为直线便于航行控制和绘算的思想,提出了一种在极球面投影图中表现为直线的"等角航线"——格网等角航线。在研究双重投影的极球面投影以及格网导航方法的基础上,提出了格网等角航线的定义,推导了航线方程,并根据该航线的航程和航向角计算方法进行航线仿真设计。理论分析和仿真验证表明:航线上格网航向角处处相等,在极区投影图上表现为直线;格网等角航线与大圆航线、大椭圆航线相近,航程较短。因此,极区格网等角航线可以与格网导航方法、极球面投影精确配合应用,适合于极区航行。  相似文献

Although current navigation services provide significant benefits to people's mobility, the turn‐by‐turn instructions they provide are sometimes ineffective. These instructions require people to maintain a high level of attention and cognitive workload while performing distance or angle measurements on their own mental map. To overcome this problem, landmarks have been identified as playing a major role in turn‐by‐turn instructions. This requires the availability of landmarks in navigation databases. Landmarks are commonly selected manually, which involves time‐consuming and tedious tasks. Automatic selection of landmarks has recently gained the attention of researchers but currently there are only a few techniques that can select appropriate landmarks. In this article, we present a technique based on a neural network model, where both static and dynamic features are used for selecting landmarks automatically. To train and test this model, two labeling approaches, manual labeling and rule‐based labeling, are also discussed. Experiments on the developed technique were conducted and the results show that rule‐based labeling has a precision of approximately 90%, which makes the technique suitable and reliable for automatic selection of landmarks.  相似文献

An automatic image registration approach is presented here can be used to register daily images of Indian geostationary satellite system INSAT-3D acquired every 30 min’ interval without use of any ground control points (GCPs). There is always a pressing need to register meteorological images that are acquired over earth from geostationary platforms every 15–30 min, covering almost one-third of the earth. Weather forecast activities include derivation of atmospheric motion vectors, which demand immediate processing of such images to a reasonable accuracy in terms of its relative location accuracy. Generally followed approaches make use of image navigation models and GCPs drawn from known landmarks in land ocean boundaries and correlate image features before estimating a transform to warp the current acquisition to a known geometry. However, the hierarchical (coarse to fine) approach explained here makes use of intensity based Mutual Information as a similarity measure from a population of pixels selected randomly and uses stochastic gradient descent optimizer to estimate an affine transform between registering image pair, delivers satisfactory results.  相似文献

路径导引是导航与位置服务领域重要研究内容之一,传统Turn-by-Turn的方式能够给予人们在陌生环境下的导引信息,但不符合人们的对于熟悉环境下的认知和日常沟通习惯。基于地标的描述方式更加符合人们的认知习惯,尤其对熟悉周边环境的本地人而言(如出租车司机)。通过按照地标的显著度进行分层,建立多粒度的路径导引描述信息,符合人们由概略到详细的空间认知规律,能有效提高人们寻路反馈、处理和知识共享的能力。以面向导航为目的,针对不同尺度的地标认知空间完成了多粒度的地标形式化建模,设计了更为符合人们认知习惯的、多粒度的路径导引描述方法。  相似文献

根据目标与背景间的视觉显著性差异及飞机目标的形态特征,本文提出了一种基于显著性检测的飞机目标识别算法。该算法首先对预处理后的遥感影像进行显著性检测并提取场景中的感兴趣目标;然后依据阴影在HIS颜色空间的特性消除阴影对飞机识别造成的影响,并以飞机的形态特征为依据对感兴趣目标进行筛选,进而实现飞机目标识别;最后,计算飞机的外形参数、相对矩等特征并以此作为依据实现飞机机型判别。试验证明,该方法飞机特征提取精确,目标识别准确率高,具有较好的稳健性。  相似文献

In order to evacuate residents in time, flood warning systems must have rapid data processing algorithms to translate detailed numerical data into simple warnings and navigation aids. Although it is common to display warning messages by directly drawing red circles on a map embedded in a Web page to indicate the regions about to be inundated, such an approach has some drawbacks. We propose an alternative way by summarizing the warning messages based on landmarks, so that the messages can be short and convey even more information. We have designed two approaches to output such messages. They are the nearest landmark approach and the threshold approach, which differ in the way of determining which landmarks will be influenced by a certain flooded region. These two methods are implemented and we compare their performance through real and synthetic datasets. Experimental results show that the threshold approach usually takes less execution time than the nearest landmark approach. Its severity ranking of landmarks is also better suited to human behaviour.  相似文献

利用尺度不变特征变换(scale invariant feature transform,SlFT)算子直接提取遥感影像局邵特征进行检索时存在关键点数目多、特征维数高等问题,因此,本文利用视觉注意模型,根据目标显著性的大小从影像上提取显著目标区域,并采用K-means聚类方法对提取的SIF丁局邵特征进行聚类,得到用于检索的特征向量实验结果表明,该方法不仅符合人眼的视觉特性,且在降低SI FT关键点数目和特征维数的同时提高了检索精度和检索效率.  相似文献

自动导引机器人(AGV)室内定位的方法多样,激光雷达匹配定位是其主要手段之一,但在环境特征少的区域,因缺乏约束会导致匹配错误。针对这一问题,本文提出了一种LiDAR和二维码地标组合导航方法,并利用turtlebot3在室内走廊环境下进行了模拟试验。结果表明,纯激光匹配导航平均误差为11.5 cm,采用与二维码结合的导航方法能将平均误差控制在2 cm内。该方法能够实现AGV在环境特征单一场景下精准定位与导航,提高了其对工作环境的适应能力和可靠性。  相似文献

Saliency detection is an effective approach to extract regions of interest (ROIs) for remote sensing images. However, existing saliency detection models mainly focus on ROI extraction from a single image and usually are not able to produce satisfactory results because of complex background interference in remote sensing images. The employment of mutual information in a set of remote sensing images can provide an effective solution to this issue. In this paper, we propose a novel saliency detection model for multiple remote sensing images to simultaneously extract ROIs and identify images without ROIs. First, common salient feature analysis based on synthesized feature clustering and global contrast is implemented to exploit global correspondence in the synthesis feature domain, thereby highlighting preliminary ROIs against background interference and assigning lower saliency values to images without ROIs. Then, we design an exclusion criterion based on saliency value judgment to remove images without ROIs, and the remaining saliency maps are refined by an enhancement strategy. Finally, the enhanced maps serve as a feedback to yield a homogenous synthesized feature space in which integral ROIs with subtle borders are extracted by the reused cluster-based saliency calculation. Experiments reveal that our model outperforms seven state-of-the-art models by achieving the best ROC curve (AUC = 0.945) and maximal F-measure at 0.729.  相似文献

It is often assumed that three-dimensional topographic maps provide more effective route planning, navigation, orientation, and way-finding results than traditional two-dimensional representations. The research reported here investigates whether three-dimensional spatial mappings provide better support for route planning than two-dimensional representations. In a set of experiments performed as part of this research, human subjects were randomly shown either a two- or three-dimensional hologram of San Francisco and were asked to plan a bicycling route between an origin and a destination point. In a second task, participants used these holograms to identify the highest elevation point in the displayed area. The eye-movements of the participants, throughout the process of looking at the geospatial holograms and executing the tasks, were recorded. The eye-tracking metrics analysis indicates with a high statistical level of confidence that three-dimensional holographic maps enable more efficient route planning. In addition, the research group is developing a new algorithm to analyze the differences between participant-selected routes and a set of "good routes." The algorithm employs techniques used to represent the boundary of objects and methods for assessing the difference between objects in modern digital image recognition, image registration, and image alignment applications. The overall goal is to create a theoretical framework for investigating and quantifying route planning effectiveness.  相似文献

Navigation, the goal-related movement through space and time to reach a destination, is a fundamental human activity. Geographers, physiologists, anthropologists, and psychologists have long been interested in the spatial and temporal aspects of navigation speed. Hikers, search and rescue teams, firefighters, the military, and others navigate on foot, and their success depends on understanding how the dynamics of foot-based navigation affect individual capabilities. This research modeled the speed of movement of humans engaged in navigation in wooded environments with varied terrain. Movement models were developed using spatiotemporal analysis of multiple subjects’ trajectories. Speed estimates were collected via satellite positioning from 200 subjects engaged in foot-based navigation. Trajectory data were merged with land-cover data to analyze human navigation over varying slopes and terrain. Generalizing these characteristics provided a model of navigational speed of movement from an origin to a destination along an unknown route. Tobler’s hiking function and Naismith’s rule were used in an analysis of the trajectory data. The model created from this study was shown to outperform those classic human movement speed estimators by predicting route completion time within 10% accuracy (M = 11.1min, 95% CI [9.8, 12.4] min). The process of reading a topographic map requires users to recognize and learn the cartographic symbols of the key (or legend) while interpreting the territory as depicted on the map at a given level of abstraction (the form and nature of features, their saliency and relationships). We present the results of an empirical user study that aims to identify and assess the main graphical characteristics that are used by map users to recognize the design principles which constitute the topographic mapping style adopted by IGN (Institut National de l'Information Géographique et Forestière), France. Our results suggest that 91% of the participants were able to recognize an IGN-France topographic map amongst other topographic map products. We also determine which graphical characteristics play a role in the recognition of this cartographic style, either by visual memory or by visual perception, and identify the representation of relief, including contour lines and shaded relief, as one of the major graphical characteristics of the topographic mapping style of IGN-France. Moreover, the participants of our study considered the representation of touristic POI (points of interest), toponymy, typography, the main roads network, the individual buildings and the forests, to be essential for stylistic recognition.  相似文献

遥感影像机场检测中,针对传统人工设计特征的方法稳健性差、检测耗时的问题,提出了一种结合卷积神经网络与显著性特征的遥感影像机场检测算法。利用卷积神经网络快速准确地检测出机场目标,确定兴趣区域,对兴趣区域进行显著性检测和连通区提取,从而获取更加精确的机场边界,最后利用多种场景下的影像进行测试。结果表明,本文方法具有明显的精度和速度优势;利用频率视觉显著性分析方法对获得的机场区域进行视觉显著性检测,可有效获取机场和跑道的精确边界,提高机场检测的效果和实用价值。  相似文献

This paper describes the design and development of an experimental GIS prototype that may be used to assist experienced pilots, student pilots and flight instructors for post-flight evaluation of navigation performance. The system is developed as a GIS experimental application which employs geographical data derived from the Digital Chart of the World integrated with airspace data derived from the ICAO 1:500,000 Aeronautical Chart. Real-time data are collected and integrated within a monitoring computing environment from external sensors which include GPS, altitude and relative motion sensors. This enables the generation of multi-layered digital maps and navigation data capable of being rapidly re-configured to enhance visualization by abstraction. The integration of real time navigation data with geographical data facilitates airborne decision-making, cockpit management, and makes a valuable contribution to flight safety.  相似文献
