The Baladek Massif represents a tectonic block located at the boundary between the SE framing of the North Asian craton and the fold structures of the Galam terrane of the Mongol-Okhotsk fold belt. According to the existing concepts, the rocks of this massif are regarded as Precambrian complexes of the aforementioned craton. This paper reports the results of studying the fragment of the Baladek Massif in the Gerbikan River basin. New geochemical data obtained on the gabbros, gabbroanorthosites, and ultramafic rocks testify to their similarity with typical ophiolite complexes. An underlying complex of metamorphic ultrabasic rocks, a layered complex of pyroxenites and “cumulate” gabbros, gabbroanorthosites, and a complex of isotropic gabbros were distinguished within this fragment. It is highly possible that the basic volcanic rocks and jaspers of the Silurian-Lower Devonian sequences of the Galam segment of the Mongol-Okhotsk fold belt also belong to the inferred ophiolite complex.  相似文献

A typical feature of the Precambrian complexes of the Kokshetau, Ishkeolmess, Erementau-Niyaz, and Aktau-Dzhungaria massifs of Northern and Central Kazakhstan is the presence of the end Mesoproterozoic-beginning of the Neoproterozoic quartzite-schist sequences in these sections. The lower and upper parts of these sequences are mostly composed of schists with interlayers of quartzites and marbles and of quartzitic sandstones, respectively. It is suggested that the quartzite-schist sequences represent the sub-platform cover of a large continental block and were formed in the regressive basin with widely abundant facies of submarine deltas and a littoral shoal. The presence of horizons and the lenses enriched in zircon-rutile heavy concentrate with the amount of accessory minerals of 10-70% characterizes the quartzite-schist sections of the Kokshetau and Erementau-Niyaz massifs. The U-Pb age of zircons from one such locality in the central part of the Erementau-Niyaz massif was analyzed by LA-ICP-MS. The Concordia ages of zircons are in the intervals 1041 ± 13-1519 ± 14, 1623 ± 14-1931 ± 14, and 2691 ± 14-2746 ± 14 Ma. One age was 2850 ± 14 Ma. The age distribution is characterized by clear peaks of 1.08, 1.20. 1.34, 1.46, 1.65, 1.89, and 2.70 Ga and weak peaks of 1.13 and 1.68 Ga. The age of the majority of zircons ranges from 1309 ± 14 to 1519 ± 14 Ma. Our data indicate that mostly Neoproterozoic rocks with a subordinate role of Paleoproterozoic and Neoarchean complexes served the feeding sources for the quartzite-schist sequence of the Erementau-Niyaz massif. The Mesoproterozoic and Paleoproterozoic events identified for the detrital zircons of the Erementau-Niyaz massif are completely manifested only in Laurentia. In the first approximation, these events coincide with the assembly and breakup of the Columbia/Nuna supercontinent (~1650–1580 and 1450–1380 Ma) and assembly of the Rodinia supercontinent (1300–900 Ma).  相似文献

Based on generalization of available geochronological data, Late Mesozoic magmatic associations in the northeastern part of the Amurian microcontinent are divided into three groups: 142–125, 124–115, and <110 Ma. The age of these associations decreases with approaching the Pacific margin of Asia. In the same direction, they show a change in sources of their parental melts: continental crust (142–125 Ma) → continental crust + PREMA (DM) (124–115 Ma) → continental crust + PREMA (DM) + EMII (<110 Ma). Isotope-geochemical (Sr-Nd) study indicates that intrusive and volcanic rocks of the Late Mesozoic magmatic associations in the northeastern part of the Amurian microcontinent were originated in geodynamic settings that provided access of enriched mantle sources to magma formation. The most probable of these settings are as follows: (1) plate sliding accompanying by the formation of slab window beneath continental margin; (2) passage of the Asian margin over the East Asian mantle hot field in the Late Mesozoic; (3) asthenospheric upwelling due to delamination of the lower crust during closure of the Mongolian-Okhotsk ocean caused by collision between the Amurian microcontinent, Dzhugdzhur-Stanovoy, and Selenga-Stanovoy superterranes in the Central Asian fold belt.  相似文献

This is an attempt to analyze the current lithospheric stress pattern in the Baikal rift in terms of nonlinear dynamics as an open self-organizing system in order to gain more insights into the general laws of regional seismicity. According to the suggested approach, the stress pattern inferred from seismic moments of 70,000 MLH  2.0 events that occurred in the region between 1968 and 1994 is presented as a phase portrait in the phase spaces of the seismic moments. The obtained phase portrait of the system evolution fits well a scenario with triple equilibrium bifurcation where stress bifurcations account for the frequency of M > 5.5 earthquakes. Extrapolation of the results into the nearest future indicates probability of such a bifurcation (a catastrophe of stress), i.e., there is growing risk that M  7 events may happen in the region within a few years.  相似文献

It is shown that the energy dependence of the time-lags in Cygnus X-1 excludes any significant contribution of the standard reflected component to the observed lags. The conclusion is valid in the     frequency range where time-lags have been detected with sufficient significance. In fact, the data hint that the reflected component is working in the opposite direction, reducing the lags at energies where the contribution of the reflected component is significant.
We argue that the observed logarithmic dependence of time-lags on energy could be due to the small variations of the spectral index in the frame of a very simple phenomenological model. We assume that an optically thin flow/corona, emitting a power law like spectrum, is present at a range of distances from the compact object. The slope of the locally emitted spectrum is a function of distance, with the hardest spectrum emitted in the innermost region. If perturbations with different time-scales are introduced to the accretion flow at different radii, then X-ray lags naturally appear, caused by the inward propagation of perturbations on the diffusion time-scales.  相似文献

The results of U–Pb geochronological studies of detrital zircons and Sm–Nd isotopic–geochemical studies of terrigenous rocks of the Upper Amur and Zeya–Dep troughs indicate that the beginning of orogenic processes, which led to the formation of the Mongol–Okhotsk fold belt, occurred in the Early Jurassic.  相似文献

The method developed and the instrument designed for detecting variations of the solar limb darkening at the atmospheric transparency window of the solar opacity minimum region of λ 1.65 μ are described. This differential technique proved to be successful in rejecting undesirable low frequency noises due to the atmosphere and to the instrument. Analysis of observations made in 1977, 1978, and 1981 indicates the persistance of global fluctuations of the IR differential, center-to-limb intensity at the wellknown 160 min period with an average amplitude of about ± 2 × 10-4 in units of the ‘average Sun’ intensity near 1.65 μm.  相似文献
