The algorithm for splitting k–ω turbulence equations is used to parameterize viscosity and diffusion coefficients in the ocean general circulation model. The k–ω equations are split into stages describing the transport-diffusion and generation-dissipation of the turbulent kinetic energy and frequency function ω. At the generation-dissipation stage, the equations are solved analytically. Calculations of circulation in the North Atlantic–Arctic Ocean for 1948–2009 have been carried out. The experiments demonstrate an adequate reproduction of hydrophysical characteristics and high efficiency of the algorithm. It is shown that considering the climatic annual mean buoyancy frequency in the turbulence equations at the generation-dissipation stage is an important factor in improving the accuracy of simulated fields.  相似文献

The potentialities of a method for evaluating runoff from Northern Dvina basin, which is based on a model of heat and water exchange between land surface and the atmosphere (SWAP) in combination with input data based on global databases on land surface parameters and different variants of meteorological data (derived from reanalysis data; reanalysis data hybridized with ground based and satellite observations; observational data of meteorological stations situated in the river basin). In all three cases, an optimization was applied to some key model parameters, including the characteristics of the land surface and correction factors for precipitation and incoming radiation.  相似文献

A new modified magnitude scale M S (20R) is elaborated. It permits us to extend the teleseismic magnitude scale M S (20) to the regional epicenter distances. The data set used in this study contains digital records at 12 seismic stations of 392 earthquakes that occured in the northwest Pacific Ocean in the period of 1993–2008. The new scale is based on amplitudes of surface waves of a narrow range of the periods (16–25 s) close to the period of 20 s, for distances of 80–3000 km. The digital Butterworth filter is used for processing. On the basis of the found regional features concerning distance dependence for seismic wave attenuation, all the stations of the region have been subdivided into two groups, namely, “continental” and “island-arc.” For each group of stations, its own calibration function is proposed. Individual station corrections are used to compensate for the local features.  相似文献

The Kalguty ore-magmatic system (OMS) contains economic greisen and vein rare-metal-tungsten-molybdenum mineralization. The data on U-Pb zircon (SHRIMP II) age of nine samples of igneous rocks from the Kalguty OMS are accompanied by chemical, ICP-MS, and ICP-AES analyses of the main rock varieties. Porphyritic biotite granite of the main phase of the Kalguty pluton is characterized by the concordant age of 207.5 ± 1.7 Ma (MSWD = 0.034). The concordant age of the leucogranitic dikes pertaining to the East Kalguty Complex is 204 ± 2 Ma (MSWD = 0.65) for elvan and 200.8 ± 1.1 Ma (MSWD = 0.72) for ultrapotassic rhyolite porphyry. The two-mica and muscovite leucogranite of the Eastern stock is significantly younger: 195 ± 2.7 Ma (MSWD = 0.076) and 193.1 ± 2.1 Ma (MSWD = 0.0009). Thus, the Chingadatui Complex (the main phase of the Kalguty pluton) and dikes of the East Kalguty Complex are Late Triassic in age. The two-mica leucogranites of the Eastern, Zhumaly, and other stocks are most likely correlated to the Early Jurassic Alacha Complex of rare-metal granites. The superposition of greisen mineralization on elvan and ongonite dikes may be related to the emplacement of younger, Early Jurassic ore-forming two-mica and muscovite granites. Judging from zircon xenocrysts in granites, the Mesoproterozoic igneous rocks dated at 1.5 Ga and products of erosion of the rocks dated at 1.7 and 2.5 Ga occur in the basement of the Kalguty volcanic-tectonic structure. This is sound evidence for the occurrence of ancient continental crustal blocks in the southwestern part of the Altai-Sayan region.  相似文献

We use UBVRI CCD photometry to study star-forming regions (SFRs) in the galaxies NGC 5585 and IC 1525. The observations were acquired with the 1.5-m telescope of the Mt. Maidanak Observatory of the Astronomical Institute of the Uzbek Academy of Sciences (Uzbekistan), with seeing of 0.8″–1.8″. We identified 47 SFRs in NGC 5585 and 16 SFRs in IC 1525. We estimated the ages and internal extinctions of the SFRs using the PEGASE2 evolution models. The sizes of the SFRs were also determined. We discuss in detail the techniques applied to evaluate the SFR parameters from photometric analysis. The age range for the studied SFRs is (2–40) × 106 yrs, and the internal extinctions are A(V ) ≤ 1.5m. The age distributions of the SFRs in both galaxies are typical of stellar systems with intense, extended star formation. The internal extinction in the SFRs decreases with distance from the galactic centers: A(V ) ∝ −r. For both galaxies, the scale length for the decrease of the dust surface density, estimated from the A(V )−r relation for SFRs, is close to the scale length for the disk brightness decrease in the V and R bands. Relatively larger and older SFRs are observed in the galaxies’ rings, while such SFRs are not found in the spiral arms. We detected different SFR parameters for different spiral arms of NGC 5585.  相似文献
