Abstract— Results are reported for documented samples from two drill cores and for specimens from the strewn field of the largest known stone meteorite, the H chondrite Jilin. Core B was found to have been parallel to the surface of Jilin during its first stage of irradiation, in 2π geometry. Core A was normal to the 2π surface; in it the mean attenuation length for the production by galactic cosmic rays of 38Ar from metal and of 21Ne from Mg, Al, Si in silicates was found to be the same. A numerical value for the mean attenuation length of (71 ± 4) cm or (246 ± 14) g × cm?2 follows if corrections for the contribution from the second stage of exposure are based on T2 = 0.32 Ma; agreement with the lower values of ~180 g × cm?2 obtained from lunar studies and target data requires T2 to be about twice as long. Previous results are confirmed that in specimens with high contents of stable spallogenic gases the ratio 21Nebulk/38Armetal is low. The suggestion had been, and is, mat this is a transition effect in near-surface samples where the secondary cascade of nuclear-active particles, and hence the production of 21Ne, was not yet fully developed. This suggestion is borne out by the present results on two samples that, based on cosmic-ray tracks and 60Co content, are certified near-surface samples (although, strictly speaking, this is true only for the depth of burial during the second stage of irradiation). Cosmic-ray produced 60Co is positively correlated with 4He content, indicating that significant losses of 4He occurred when the Jilin meteoroid had acquired already its final size and shape and that the losses were more severe for near-surface samples than for such from the 4π interior. Presumably, the losses were caused by a thermal spike associated with the excavation of Jilin from its parent body. The same event caused losses of part of the 3He produced during the first irradiation stage. From the systematics of the 3He/21Ne vs. 4He correlation, we derive for the second 4π irradiation a production ratio 3He/21Ne = 3.2 ± 0.4.  相似文献

Daily maximum and minimum temperatures from 29 low-lying and mountain stations of 7 countries in Central Europe were analyzed. The analysis of the annual variation of diurnal temperature range helps to distinguish unique climatic characteristics of high and low altitude stations. A comparison of the time series of extreme daily temperatures as well as mean temperature shows a good agreement between the low-lying stations and the mountain stations. Many of the pronounced warm and cold periods are present in all time series and are therefore representative for the whole region. A linear trend analysis of the station data for the period 1901–1990 (19 stations) and 1951–1990 (all 29 stations) shows spatial patterns of similar changes in maximum and minimum daily temperatures and diurnal temperature range. Mountain stations show only small changes of the diurnal temperature range over the 1901–1990 period, whereas the low-lying stations in the western part of the Alps show a significant decrease of diurnal temperature range, caused by strong increase of the minimum temperature. For the shorter period 1951–1990, the diurnal temperature range decreases at the western low-lying stations, mainly in spring, whereas it remains roughly constant at the mountain stations. The decrease of diurnal temperature range is stronger in the western part than in the eastern part of the Alps.  相似文献

Summary Tectonic subsidence analysis of the preserved and reconstructed stratigraphy of the Polish Basin indicates an initial Late Permian-Early Triassic (255-241 Ma) syn-rift phase of development with a subsequent extensional rejuvenation during the Late Jurassic (ca. 157-152 Ma). Forward modelling of the subsidence data, in view of existing geophysical interpretations which show the presence of a deep Moho and a very high seismic velocity lower crustal layer beneath the Mid-Polish Trough (MPT), suggest that Permo-Mesozoic basin development may be related at least in part to the intrusion of mantle material into and densification of the lower crust rather than exclusively to crustal extension and thinning.  相似文献

对取自西南非纳米比亚Damara造山带Waterberg断层带中的细粒灰岩的变形结构与亚微结构开展的多方面综合研究 ,揭示出在流体相遍布的上部地壳环境中 ,细粒灰岩的变形属性具有双重性 :脆性与晶质塑性。这种双重性突出表现在破裂与微破裂构造的广泛发育 ,以及细粒动态重结晶颗粒沿着破裂带 (面 )的出现。导致这种双重过程的主要因素在于岩石变形作用过程中流体相的介入。破裂与微破裂的出现 ,为流体相介入岩石变形提供了通道 ,使得流体相能够弥散于高应变带及高应变晶体内。水解弱化是流体相影响岩石变形的重要机理。流体相促进位错滑移与攀移 ,并加速应变颗粒的恢复作用 ,以协调破裂过程。  相似文献

The incidence of the airborne fungal spores was determined in the air of subalpine zone of the Karkonosze Mountains and of the Izerskie Mountains in the borderland between Poland and the Czech Republic. The experiment was conducted in 2011 and 2012 at three to four week intervals from May to October. Air samples were taken from three locations in the Karkonosze Mts. and one from the Izerskie Mts. To examine the air, the Air Ideal 3P sampler and acidified PDA medium were used. The results show that Cladosporium cladosporioides was the most abundant spore type in all the sampling locations (up to 30%), followed by Alternaria alternata (16%-20%), Fusarium (up to 10%) and Sclerotinia sclerotiorium (up to 6%). The lower spore counts were recorded in May samples, compared to the other months. In this case the snow cover, that was still present in the area at the beginning of May, may be the reason for the lower, compared to June, July and August samplings, CFU (Colony Forming Unit) counts in that month.. The influx of air masses from SE, S and SW sectors in the area under study may affect dissemination of the plant-pathogenic fungi from the Czech Republic and from the South of Europe in general.  相似文献

Coronitic metagabbronorites (so-called hyperites) and metabasites occur within gneisses, migmatites and minor granulites in the high-grade metamorphic Góry Sowie Block in the Sudetes (SW Poland). Incompatible trace-element and )Nd data, combined with field and petrographic evidence, suggest that three groups may be distinguished: (1) "enriched" amphibolites (Zr/Nb ca. 8, )Nd500 +1 - +2.5), (2) "depleted" amphibolites (Zr/Nb >30, )Nd500 +5 - +6), and (3) metagabbronorites (Zr/Nb 13-19, )Nd500 scattered between +5.3 and -1). These characteristics favour an extensional within-plate setting, consistent with their field occurrence as small bodies scattered within metasedimentary and felsic metaigneous gneisses. In that setting, enriched mantle sources were partially melted to produce a range of basic magmas, showing affinities with continental tholeiites (within plate-type basalts). Presumably, in a more advanced stage of rifting, more depleted varieties, transitional to N-MORB, were emplaced. These mafic magmas were variably contaminated during their ascent in the crust. The metagabbronorites, with their well-preserved igneous textures, were previously interpreted as having been intruded after the main deformation and after the peak of amphibolite facies metamorphism (some authors suggesting a relation to the "circum Góry Sowie ophiolites"). However, the geochemical characteristics and P-T estimates suggest that the metagabbronorites are unrelated to the ophiolitic gabbros found in the neighbourhood of the Góry Sowie Block and, in contrast to them, have experienced a complex, polybaric P-T path.  相似文献

Analyses on 27 sediment cores taken from the bottom of the Szczecin Lagoon allowed environmental reconstruction of the postglacial main stages of basin development, based on detailed sedimentological, geochemical, diatomological and malacological studies of selected key cores. Studies revealed that during the Late Glacial and Holocene this area developed in several stages. In the Late Glacial the whole study area constituted a low alluvial plain. At the turn from Younger Dryas to Holocene the alluvial plain was cut through by the Odra river to a level of 10–11 m below sea level (b.s.l.). Along with the first phases of the Holocene marine transgression at the southern Baltic Sea's coasts the accumulation of the limnic-swampy deposits began in this lower part of the Odra valley. At ca. 6–6.5 ka BP the transgression proceeded and Littorina Sea waters flooded the area. At that time the Szczecin Lagoon constituted a marine embayment in which series of sands, partly rich in malacofauna, was deposited. The development of the Swina barrier resulted in the isolation of the embayment from the direct inflow of Baltic Sea waters.  相似文献

On the basis of detailed rill surveys carried out on bare plots of different lengths at slopes of 12 per cent, basic rill parameters were derived. Rill width and maximum depth increased with plot length, whereas rill amount and cross‐sectional area, expressed per unit length, remained similar. On smaller plots, all rills were connected in a continuous transport system reaching the plot outlet, whilst on larger plots (10 and 20 m long) part of the rills ended with a deposition areas inside the plots. Amounts of erosion, calculated from rill volume and soil bulk density, were compared with soil loss measured at the plot outlets. On plots 10 and 20 m long, erosion estimated from volume of all rills was larger than measured soil loss. The latter was larger than erosion estimated from volume of contributing rills. To identify contributing soil loss area on these plots, two methods were applied: (i) ratio of total soil loss to maximum soil loss per unit area, and (ii) partition of plot area according to the ratio of contributing to total rill volume. Both methods resulted in similar areas of 21·8–23·5 m2 for the plot 10 m long and 31·2 m2 for the plot 20 m long. Identification of contributing areas enabled rill (5·9 kg m?2) and interrill (2·6 kg m?2) erosion rate to be calculated, the latter being very close to the value predicted from the Universal Soil Loss Equation. Although rill and interrill rates seemed to be similar on all plots, their ratio increased slightly with plot length. Application of this ratio to compute slope length factor of the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation resulted in similar values to those predicted with the model. The achieved balance of soil loss suggested that all the sediment measured at the plot outlet originated from contributing rills and associated contributing rill areas.
