西藏南部雅鲁藏布构造带分布有一系列蛇绿岩体。人们对这些蛇绿岩体的形成环境仍然存在较大的争议。雅鲁藏布构造带中段日喀则蛇绿岩路曲和大竹曲岩体镁铁质岩石的微量元素和Pb同位素特征指示其母岩浆起源于亏损地幔源区。这些镁铁质岩石的La/Sm和Sm/Yb比值显示其岩浆产生于尖晶石二辉橄榄岩地幔经过大约10%部分熔融作用。综合岩相学和全岩主量元素特征暗示这些镁铁质岩石形成于无水玄武质岩浆。而且这些镁铁质岩石的微量元素和REE元素配分模式均非常相似于N-MORB,除了弱Nb-Ta负异常。这些特征表明路曲和大竹曲岩体形成于大洋中脊环境。此外,路曲和大竹曲镁铁质岩石的Pb同位素结果指示其地幔源区与印度洋MORB地幔域具有相似的地球化学特征。这些镁铁质岩石N-MORB标准化微量元素模式显示弱Nb-Ta负异常可能是由于其地幔源区交代了古老的俯冲带物质。  相似文献

Promising methods have been developed recently for the determination of selenium (Se) and tellurium (Te) in geological materials at ng g−1 and lower levels, using hydride generation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. Here we report on a new isotope dilution-hydride generation-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ID-HG-ICP-MS) method for the simultaneous determination of Se and Te, which is applied to basalts, and modified compared to previous work. The basalts were attacked and dissolved with hydrofluoric and nitric acid, spiked with enriched isotopes, and passed through a cation exchange column (AG 50-X8 100–200 mesh) to separate the major cations that interfere with Se and Te detection (e.g., Fe). The detection limits of this method were 0.010 ng g−1 for Se and 0.0030 ng g−1 for Te, well below the concentrations of Se and Te expected in basalts. The precision of the method for Se was 12.2 to 15.1% and for Te was 4.6 to 7.2% RSD from replicate analyses of basalt reference samples. The accuracy for Se determinations was 61 to 94% and for Te 28 to 100% of values previously reported in the literature for selected USGS reference materials.  相似文献

综述了20多年来洋中脊新生玄武岩中铀系不平衡研究成果,分析了铀系不平衡的形成机制和主要影响因素,并探讨了铀系不平衡研究中的一些问题。结果表明:(1)玄武质岩浆中230Th/238U不平衡可能产生于石榴子石稳定的深部源区,也可能来自230Th的"内部增长"(in-growth),过剩230Th更可能形成于含铝单斜辉石;(2)226Ra/230Th不平衡可能来自岩浆的形成过程,也可能来自岩浆迁移过程;(3)铀系不平衡与岩浆滞留时间和上升速率紧密相关,226Ra的大量过剩显示,这个不平衡事件形成于8ka以内,如果不考虑玄武质岩浆迁移过程的事件,则意味着岩浆迁移时间不超过8ka。提出当前亟待解决的问题:①准确模拟地幔部分熔融条件并测定铀系子体在熔体/地幔残留相间的分配系数;②提出更合理的结晶分异模型;③探索流体对226Ra/230Th不平衡的影响。  相似文献

报道了Lu-Hf同位素体系在地幔端元的地球化学研究中的部分最新应用成果。大量的大洋玄武岩Lu-Hf同位素研究表明:具亏损地幔端元(DMM)来源的洋中脊玄武岩岩浆部分熔融的初熔区位于石留石稳定场深度,即深度为80 ̄90km的石榴石二辉橄榄岩地幔,而不是原来所认为的尖晶石二辉橄榄岩区(深度小于60km);以高放射成因Pb为特征的主U地幔端元(HIMU)应代表了下地幔物质在某一特定时期发生分异作用的结果  相似文献

产于滇西南孟连曼信的苦橄岩,前人定为苦橄玢岩岩脉。经研究发现该苦橄岩普遍发育堆积结构,同时又普遍发育枕状构造且基质具淬火结构,并且与石炭纪洋脊型-准洋脊型玄武岩具有成因演化关系。这表明该苦橄岩不是岩脉,而是水下喷出相的夭折堆积岩,是因洋底扩张速度改变而导致岩浆房状态改变的结果,这也为澜沧江洋的扩张作用提供了佐证。  相似文献

Geochemical variations in mid-ocean ridge basalts have been attributed to differing proportions of compositionally distinct mantle components in their sources, some of which may be recycled crust. Oxygen isotopes are strongly fractionated by near-surface interactions of rocks with the hydrosphere, and thus provide a tracer of near-surface materials that have been recycled into the mantle. We present here oxygen isotope analyses of basaltic glasses from the mid-Atlantic ridge south of and across the Azores platform. Variations in δ18O in these samples are subtle (range of 0.47‰) and may partly reflect shallow fractional crystallization; we present a method to correct for these effects. Relatively high fractionation-corrected δ18O in these samples is associated with geochemical indices of enrichment, including high La/Sm, Ce/Pb, and 87Sr/86Sr and low 143Nd/144Nd. Our results suggest two first-order conclusions about these enriched materials: (1) they are derived (directly or indirectly) from recycled upper oceanic crustal rocks and/or sediments; and (2) these materials are present in the north Atlantic MORB sources in abundances of less than 10% (average 2–5%). Modeling of variations of δ18O with other geochemical variables further indicates that the enriched component is not derived from incorporation of sediment or bulk altered oceanic crust, from metasomatism of the mantle by hydrous or carbonate-rich fluids, or from partial melting of subducted sediment. Instead, the data appear to require a model in which the enriched component is depleted mantle that has been metasomatized by small-degree partial melts of subducted, dehydrated, altered oceanic crust. The age of this partial melting is broadly constrained to 250 Ma. Reconstructed plate motions suggest that the enriched component in the north Atlantic mantle may have originated by subduction along the western margin of Pangea.  相似文献

We have determined the near-solidus melt compositions for peridotiteMM-3, a suitable composition for the production of mid-oceanridge basalt (MORB) by decompression partial melting, at 1 and1·5 GPa. At 1 GPa the MM-3 composition has a subsolidusplagioclase-bearing spinel lherzolite assemblage, and a solidusat 1270°C. At only 5°C above the solidus, 4% meltis present as a result of almost complete melting of plagioclase.This melting behaviour in plagioclase lherzolite is predictedfrom simple systems and previous experimental work. The persistenceof plagioclase to > 0·8 GPa is strongly dependenton bulk-rock CaO/Na2O and normative plagioclase content in theperidotite. At 1·5 GPa the MM-3 composition has a subsolidusspinel lherzolite assemblage, and a solidus at 1350°C.We have determined a near-solidus melt composition at 2% meltingwithin 10°C of the solidus. Near-solidus melts at both 1and 1·5 GPa are nepheline normative, and have low normativediopside contents; also they have the highest TiO2, Al2O3 andNa2O, and the lowest FeO and Cr2O3 contents compared with higherdegree partial melts. Comparison of these near-solidus meltswith primitive MORB glasses, which lie in the olivine-only fieldof crystallization at low pressure, indicate that petrogeneticmodels involving aggregation of near-fractional melts formedduring melting at pressures of 1·5 GPa or less are unlikelyto be correct. In this study we use an experimental approachthat utilizes sintered oxide mix starting materials and peridotitereaction experiments. We also examine some recent studies usingan alternative approach of melt migration into, and entrapmentwithin ‘melt traps’ (olivine, diamond, vitreouscarbon) and discuss optimal procedures for this method. Phenocrystic chrome spinel crystallized in normal MORB‐type greenstones in the East Takayama area. Associated phenocryst minerals show a crystallization sequence that was olivine first, followed by plagioclase, and finally clinopyroxene. Chrome spinel ranges from 0.54 to 0.77 in Mg/(Mg+Fe2+) and 0.21 to 0.53 in Cr/(Cr+Al); the Fe3+ content varies from 0.07 to 0.22 p.f.u. (O = 4). Significant compositional differences of spinel were observed among the phenocryst mineral assemblages. Chrome spinel in the olivine–spinel assemblage shows a wide range in Cr/(Cr+Al), and is depleted in Fe2+ and Fe3+. Chrome spinel in the olivine–plagioclase–clinopyroxene–spinel assemblage is Fe2+‐ and Fe3+‐rich at relatively high Cr/(Cr+Al) ratios. Basalt with the olivine–plagioclase–spinel assemblage contains both aluminous spinel and Fe2+‐ and Fe3+‐rich spinel. The assumed olivine–spinel equilibrium suggests that chrome spinel in the olivine–spinel assemblage changed in composition from Cr‐ and Fe2+‐rich to Al‐ and Mg‐rich with the progress of fractional crystallization. Chrome spinel in the olivine–plagioclase–clinopyroxene–spinel assemblage, on the other hand, exhibits the reversed variations in Mg/(Mg+Fe2+) and in Cr/(Cr+Al) ratios that decrease and increase with the fractional crystallization, respectively. The entire crystallization course of chrome spinel, projected onto the Mg/(Mg+Fe2+)–Cr/(Cr+Al) diagram, exhibits a U‐turn, and appears to be set on a double‐lane route. The U‐turn point lies in the compositional field of chrome spinel in the olivine–plagioclase–spinel assemblage, and may be explained by plagioclase fractionation that began during the formation of the olivine–plagioclase–spinel assemblage.  相似文献

MORB分为N-MORB和E-MORB,二者的区分通常是以LREE亏损和富集为标志。玄武岩的基本理论主要是在MORB研究成果的基础上建立起来的。通常认为,N-MORB和OIB是两个独立的端元,E-MORB是N-MORB与OIB不同程度混合形成的。在20世纪70~80年代,玄武岩构造环境判别图的建立极大促进了玄武岩在地球动力学及大地构造背景研究的进展,其方法应用持续盛行了几十年。然而,国外学者现在已逐渐淡化玄武岩判别图解的应用,但在中国仍有方兴未艾之势。本文利用Pet DB数据库5万多个MORB数据的投图表明,全体样品投图的效果显然比抽样和典型样品得出的结果更扎实可靠,许多原先被广泛应用的主量、微量元素判别图无论从实践上还是理论上均存在一些问题。本文的研究结果进一步表明,MORB样品既有LREE亏损的,又有富集的,但亏损和富集程度与早先定义的差异较大,揭示了洋脊下地幔不均一性要比早先认识的更为复杂,成分范围变化更大,仅少数是强烈亏损的,部分可能是相当富集,甚至可以与OIB源区相类比;玄武岩构造环境判别图需要重新审视,基于岩浆成因机理的多维度、高置信度的判别体系有待于建立。  相似文献
