A general analysis of electroosmotic phenomena is given for random porous media through which an electrolyte flows. A dimensional analysis demonstrates the crucial importance of the dimensionless coupling parameter a, which is usually very small when compared to 1; this suggests an expansion in terms of a and a numerical scheme that avoids the instabilities occurring in the direct solution. For media whose properties such as permeability are lognormally distributed, an analytical expression of the macroscopic coupling coefficients can be obtained when the fluctuations are small. Various results are provided for laminated media, correlated media, and stratified or fractured media. The influence of some macroscopic geometrical parameters is illustrated.  相似文献

A Fast Multipole Method (FMM) is developed as a numerical approach to the reduction of the computational cost and requirement memory capacity for a large in solving large-scale problems. In this paper it is applied to the boundary integral equation method (BIEM) for current diffraction from arbitrary 3D bodies. The boundary integral equation is discretized by higher order elements, the FMM is applied to avoid the matrix/vector product, and the resulting algebraic equation is solved by the Generalized Conjugate Residual method (GCR). Numerical examination shows that the FMM is more efficient than the direct evaluation method in computational cost and storage of computers.  相似文献

This study examines the Bragg reflection of water waves by multiple submerged semi-circular breakwaters. The multipole expansions combined with the shift of polar coordinates are used to develop full linear potential solutions of the problem. In the full solutions, the obliquely and normally incident waves are independently considered. Experimental tests are carried out to measure the reflection and transmission coefficients of the breakwaters at different wave periods and body spacings. The analytical results are in reasonable agreement with the experimental data. The peak reflection coefficient of multiple submerged semi-circular breakwaters and the bandwidth of Bragg reflection are carefully examined by numerical examples. Some significant results for practical application are discussed.  相似文献

提出了一种基于非结构化四面体以及带地形模型的自适应多层快速多极大规模磁法快速正演算法.该算法弥补了传统积分方法采用FFT加速计算时不能采用非结构化网格的缺陷;同时采用自适应快速多极算法突破积分求和方法求解大规模磁法问题耗时长的突出问题.首先,采用非结构化的四面体网格剖分技术能够更好的模拟复杂模型以及带地形模型,实现磁法模型的高精度模拟;其次,采用一种自适应多层快速多极(AMFM)算法实现大规模磁法正演求解.通过将计算区域划分为近区和远区,对近区采用解析计算高精度求解,对远区采用自适应多层快速多极算法进行加速计算,假设有M个观测点,N个四面体源单元,可将计算复杂度由传统积分求和法的O(MN)减少到O(Mlog N).本文设计了组合体模型以及安徽怀宁地区的实际地形模型,模型计算结果体现了采用该方法进行大规模复杂模型三维磁法正演模拟的高效性和准确性.  相似文献

In the ship design optimization process, the neglect of the unavoidable uncertainty of parameters in the actual navigation and experimental observations, may lead to a bad result with some hidden dangers in practical applications. Considering the influence of the uncertainty, a new and effective hull form reliability-based robust design optimization (RBRDO) framework, including the hull form modification module and RBRDO module, has been developed and tested in the present work. Radial basis function method is utilized as the parametric hull surface modification technique to generate a series of smooth hull forms while combining polynomial chaos expansions (PCE) method with maximum entropy method (MEM) to conduct the uncertainty analysis for the prediction of the mean and the standard deviation of the objective and the failure probability of constraints. To verify the validity of the method, hull form design optimization of the bow of KCS model is implemented under the influence of the uncertainty. Numerical results indicate that the proposed RBRDO framework is effective compared with traditional Monte Carlo method. Meanwhile, compared with traditional DO case, RBRDO case has higher adaptability to the environmental uncertainty with the lower failure probability, which ensure the robustness and reliability of the optimal hull form.  相似文献

This study introduces the prediction of probabilistic settlements with the uncertainty in the spatial variability of Young’s modulus to illustrate the preliminary development of a spectral stochastic meshless local Petrov–Galerkin (SSMLPG) method. Generalized polynomial chaos expansions of Young’s moduli and a two-dimensional meshfree weak–strong formulation in elasticity are combined to derive the SSMLPG formulation. Because of the local and truly meshless nature, the SSMLPG method is more computationally efficient than available stochastic numerical methods. Two examples further show that SSMLPG-based predictions remain sufficiently accurate even in case of scattered nodes. Therefore, the SSMLPG method can be a valuable alternative for solving stochastic boundary-value problems.  相似文献

The method of moment inversion, based on the approximation of the gravity anomaly by thetruncated series obtained from its multipole expansion, uses, implicitly,a priori information about the anomalous body. The series truncation imposes a regularizing condition on the equipotential surfaces (produced by the anomalous body), allowing the unique determination of some moments and linear combinations of moments that are the coefficients of the basis functions in the multipole expansion series. These moments define a class of equivalent distributions of mass. The equivalence criterion is based on the misfit between the observations and the field produced by the series truncated at a prefixed maximum order for the moments. The estimates of the moments of the equivalent distribution are shown to compose the stationary solution of a system of first-order linear differential equations for which uniqueness and asymptotic stability are guaranteed. Specifically for the series retaining moments up to second order, the implicita priori information introduced requires that the source have finite volume, be sufficiently distant from the measurement plane and that its spatial distribution of mass present three orthogonal planes of symmetry intersecting at the center of mass. Subject to these hypotheses, it is possible to estimate uniquely and simultaneously the total excess of mass, the position of the center of mass and the directions of the three principal axes of the anomalous body.  相似文献

The fractional integrals are considered as approximations of integrals on fractals. Using the fractional generalization of the Gauss’s law, we consider the simple examples of the fields of homogeneous fractal distribution. 多消浪室局部开孔沉箱防波堤反射特性的迭代解析研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
基于势流理论,对多消浪室局部开孔沉箱防波堤的反射特性进行解析研究。研究中采用开孔墙处的二次压力损失边界条件,可以直接考虑波高对于开孔墙处能量损失的影响。利用匹配特征函数展开法和迭代方法得到当前问题的解析解。收敛性验证表明,迭代计算和级数解均具有良好的收敛性。该解析解的计算结果与分区边界元的数值计算结果一致,并且与已有的试验结果符合良好。通过算例分析,研究开孔沉箱防波堤反射系数的主要影响因素。结果表明:与单消浪室开孔沉箱防波堤相比,多消浪室开孔沉箱防波堤可以在更宽的波浪频率范围内保持低反射;增大开孔墙的开孔率,有利于降低多消浪室开孔沉箱防波堤的反射系数;当开孔墙的开孔率沿着入射波方向依次递减时,多消浪室开孔沉箱防波堤的反射系数较小。本文所建立的解析模型简单可靠,可用于工程初步设计中分析开孔沉箱防波堤的水动力性能。  相似文献
