Acid rain is one of China's major environmental problems and emissions of sulphur and nitrogen are still increasing. The acid rain situation in China is somewhat different from what is seen in Europe and North America. Sulfur deposition is very high, but there is also very high deposition of calcium and other base cations. The sources of atmospheric Ca are not well understood, although it is important for understanding long term impacts of acid deposition. The fate of S, N and Ca^2+ in the catchment is crucial for the future development of the acidification situation of soils and waters in China. Very few studies presenting catchment input-output ion budgets in Chinese natural environments exist and there are several unknown factors regarding processes. Here, we present annual input-output budgets for three years (2001-2003) for major ions for four forested catchments in China receiving different loads of acid deposition. For the two sites receiving the highest SO4^2- inputs, the input-output budget for the upper 50 cm of soil is approximately balanced. For the most remote site the soil is a net sink for SO4^2-, suggesting that the pool of adsorbed SO4^2- in the soil is building up. This is in agreement with the fact that the site so far has received only moderate SO4^2- inputs. For the southemmost, the subtropical site there is a loss of SO4^2- in the soil, which at least partly may be related to high uptake from the dense and highly productive forest at the site. The Ca^2+ budgets for the upper 50 cm of soil show large variations both within and between sites. For most locations there is production of Ca^2+ in the soil that can be explained by weathering, and variation between years related to hydrology that can be explained by ion exchange. However, at some plots at the site receiving very high inputs of both SO4^2- and Ca^2+, there is an unknown sink of Ca^2+ in the soil at some plots.  相似文献

A new adsorbent for heavy metal ions, sulfhydryl chitosan (S-chitosan), was produced by treatment of chitosan with sulhydryl acetic acid in the presence of sulfuric acid as a catalyst. Its structure was confrrmed by elemental analysis and FI‘-IR spectra analysis. The adsorption properties of sulthydryl chitosan for Cu(Ⅱ ), Cd(Ⅱ ), Pb(Ⅱ), Cr(Ⅲ) and Ni(Ⅱ) were investigated, and the effect of pH value on adsorption, adsorption kinetics, and selective adsorption was examined. It was shown that S-chitosan has good adsorption for Pb(Ⅱ), Cu(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ) like chitosan, is also insoluble in acid solution; has good adsorption kinetic properties for heavy metal ions; and can be used in acid solution. The adsorption capacities of S-chitosan can be affected by media acidity. The adsorbed Cu(Ⅱ) Cd(Ⅱ) and Pb(Ⅱ) could be eluted by diluted chlorhydric acid.  相似文献

采用原子荧光光谱法测定硫磺中微量汞。利用正交试验法研究了硝酸-双氧水密闭消化硫磺样品的溶解条件,确定了仪器最佳测试条件,探讨了硝酸介质、硼氢化钾浓度对测定结果的影响。在选定的仪器条件下,对食品级硫磺和工业级硫磺两种样品中的汞进行了测定,方法的检出限为0.012 7 ng/mL,回收率为98.0%~104.0%,精密度为2.00%~4.74%(n=11)。建立的方法具有灵敏度高、简便、结果准确、无环境污染的特点。  相似文献

前人根据矿体的产出受碳酸盐岩层位控制和Pb同位素模式年龄资料,多认为硫磺山铜多金属矿床为层控型铜铅锌多金属矿床,其形成时代为奥陶纪.基于矿区石英斑岩体见矿化和矿化蚀变,矿体与围岩呈渐变关系等特点,笔者主张该矿床属斑岩型铜铅锌多金属矿床.年代学研究表明,含矿石英脉Rb-Sr等时线年龄(346±30 Ma)与石英斑岩的锆石U-Pb年龄(340~360 Ma)在测定误差范围内一致,表明成岩与成矿作用均发生在早石炭世-晚泥盆世,成矿作用无论从空间上和时间上都与石英斑岩有关.  相似文献

High-concentrated sulfur wastewater with sodium and COD (chemical oxygen demand) up to 26000 mg/L from a chemical plant, Jiangsu Province of China has been treated by deposition of natrojarosite in lab. The results indicated that the COD of the wastewater was decreased sharply from 26000 mg/L to 1001 mg/L, with removal rate of COD up to 96% by twice precipitations of natrojarosite and twice oxidation of H202. The treated sulfur wastewater reached the requirement of subsequent biochemical treatment to water quality. The optimal operational parameters should be controlled on pH value between 2.50 and 3.20 and 50 g FeCly6H2O solid added in per liter wastewater. The study provided an experimental basis for pretreatment of high-concentrated sulfur wastewater and proposed a new mineralogical method on treatment of other wastewaters. Depositing process of jarosite and its analogs should be able to be used to treat wastewater from mine and other industries to remove S, Fe and other toxic and harmful elements, such as As, Cr, Hg, Pb, etc. in the water.  相似文献
