As one of the important Paleo-Tethys suture zones in eastern Tibet, the Jinshajiang orogenic belt is of great significance to study the tectonic evolution of the main suture zone of Paleo-Tethys. In this paper, eclogites developed in the Jinshajiang suture zone in Gonjo area, eastern Tibet, are selected as specific research objects, and petrological, geochemical and Ar-Ar geochronological analyses are carried out. The major element data of the whole rock reveals that the eclogite samples have the characteristics of picritic basalt-basalt and belong to the oceanic low potassium tholeiites. The results of rare earth elements and trace elements of the samples show that the protoliths of eclogites have characteristics similar to oceanic island basalt (OIB) or normal mid ocean ridge basalt (N-MORB). Muscovite (phengite) from two eclogite samples yield the Ar-Ar plateau ages of 247±2 Ma and 248±2 Ma respectively, representing the peak metamorphic age of eclogite facies and the timing of complete closure of the Jinshajiang Paleo-Tethys Ocean. Muscovite and biotite selected from the hosting rocks of eclogite yield the Ar-Ar plateau ages are 238±2 Ma and 225±2 Ma respectively, reflecting the exhumation age of eclogites and their hosting rocks. Combined with the zircon U-Pb dating data (244 Ma) of eclogites obtained in previous work, it can be concluded that the Jinshajiang Paleo-Tethys ocean was completely closed and arc-continent collision was initiated at about 248–244 Ma (T21). Subsequently, due to the large-scale arc (continent)-collision orogeney between Deqin-Weixi continental margin arc and Zhongza block (T31–T32), the eclogites were rapidly uplifted to the shallow crust.©2023 China Geology Editorial Office.  相似文献

东昆仑东段温泉榴辉岩呈透镜状分布在片麻岩中,榴辉岩的SiO_2含量为47%~59%,Mg#指数为0.45~0.51,表明其原岩为分异程度较高的中-基性岩石,稀土元素显示为轻稀土富集型((La/Sm)N比值为1.42~1.72)和轻稀土亏损型((La/Sm)N比值为0.82~0.88),Eu轻微负异常(δEu=0.85~0.95),榴辉岩的εNd(t)值为+0.51~+6.17(原岩年龄t=934Ma)。榴辉岩原岩锆石与陆壳辉长岩锆石的U-Yb-Hf值类似,且具有正的εHf(t)值(+8~+10),这些特征类似于大陆拉斑玄武质岩,岩浆来自亏损地幔,遭受了地壳物质的混染及较高程度的结晶分异,表明榴辉岩原岩形成于大陆边缘环境。因此,该榴辉岩代表了俯冲的陆壳,进一步证明了东昆仑早古生代发生过陆-陆碰撞造山作用。  相似文献

华北地块东南缘中生代侵入杂岩中所含榴辉岩类包体中矿物的分析结果表明, 组成榴辉岩类包体的各矿物之间元素的分配在榴辉岩相变质阶段已经达到了化学平衡;石榴石中Al、Fe、Mn, 单斜辉石中Na、Mg、Ca, 角闪石中Na、Mg、Fe等主量元素含量与其全岩之间均呈良好的正相关, 受全岩成分制约;石榴石明显富集HREE、贫LREE, 单斜辉石相对富集LREE、MREE、贫HREE, 两者轻、重稀土含量呈相互消长的互补关系, 石榴石和单斜辉石中分别富集Y、Sr, Ga和过渡族元素Sc、Ti、V、Cr、Co等含量较高, 其含量受全岩成分控制;金红石中稀土元素的含量很少, Fe、Al、Mg、Ca、Mn、Nb、Ta、Cr和Zr含量相对较高, Rb、Sr、Ba含量极低, 部分微量元素(如Nb、Cr、Fe、V、W等)含量与其原岩有继承和对应关系;部分原生或/和退变角闪石的REE配分模式分别与单斜辉石和石榴石相似, 过渡族金属元素等的含量与石榴石、单斜辉石和全岩具有一定的相关性, 角闪石容纳Na、K、Sr、Rb、Ba等元素的能力较强, 其成分除受全岩成分的制约外, 石榴石、单斜辉石对其形成也有影响。榴辉岩类包体与其寄主中生代侵入杂岩中部分高价态/高场强元素(HFSE)和重稀土元素(HREE)呈相互消长的关系。榴辉岩的形成与扬子地块和华北地块之间的俯冲-碰撞作用有关。  相似文献

Micro-X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) analysis was employed to determine the content of ferric iron in minerals formed in ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) eclogites. It is observed that omphacite and phengite contain significant amounts of Fe3+/Fetot (0.2–0.6), whereas only very low contents are present in garnet (Fe3+/Fetot=0.0–0.03), the latter being consistent with results from stoichiometric charge-balance calculations. Furthermore, considerable variations in the Fe3+/Fetot ratios of omphacite and phengite are observed depending on the textural sites and local bulk chemistry (eclogite and calc-silicate matrix) within one thin section. The oxidation state of isofacial minerals is thus likely to depend on the local fluid composition, which, in the studied case, is controlled by calcareous and meta-basic mineral compositions. These first in-situ measurements of ferric iron in an eclogite sample from the Dabie Shan, E China, are used to recalculate geothermobarometric data. Calculations demonstrate that the temperature during UHP metamorphism was as high as 780 °C, about 80–100 °C higher than previously estimated. Temperatures based on charge balance calculations often give erroneous results. Pressure estimates are in good agreement with former results and confirm metamorphism in the stability field of diamond (43.7 kbar at 750 °C). These PT data result in a geothermal gradient of ca. 6 °C/km during UHP metamorphism in the Dabie Shan. However, accounting for ferric iron contents in geothermobarometry creates new difficulties inasmuch as calibrations of geothermometers may not be correctable for Fe3+ and the actual effect on Mg–Fe2+ partitioning is unknown. The present study further shows that micro-XANES is a promising technique for the in situ determination of ferric iron contents without destroying the textural context of the sample: a clear advantage compared to bulk methods.  相似文献

西南天山高压-超高压变质带中阿坦塔义地区新发现的榴辉岩块体呈透镜体产于围岩石榴石白云母片岩中,边部发育退变质蓝片岩.榴辉岩与蓝片岩具有相似的地球化学特征:榴辉岩SiO2为51.59% ~52.66%,TiO2为0.70% ~0.80%;蓝片岩SiO2为51.57% ~54.06%,TiO2为0.86%~0.89%;榴辉岩与蓝片岩均具有轻稀土富集且内部中度分异、重稀土平缓、中度Eu负异常及亏损Ba、Sr、Nb、Ta、Ti等元素的地球化学特征,La/Nb分别为3.0 ~4.8及2.1 ~3.7,类似典型的活动大陆边缘岛弧岩浆岩特征.榴辉岩Zr/Hf=36.5 ~ 37.1,Nb/Ta=10.2 ~ 12.9;蓝片岩Zr/Hf=35.9 ~ 36.4,Nb/Ta=11.6 ~ 12.2,均类似大陆地壳的Zr/Hf与Nb/Ta比值.榴辉岩(87 Sr/86 Sr)i=0.7091 ~0.7095,εNd(t)=-7.52 ~-6.31;蓝片岩(87 Sr/86 Sr)i=0.7098 ~0.7107,εNd(t)=--7.70 ~-7.13.主微量元素特征和Sr-Nd同位素组成显示榴辉岩和蓝片岩的原岩具大陆地壳性质,这也是首次在西南天山变质俯冲杂岩中发现陆壳物质.  相似文献

青龙山部分榴辉岩以含绿帘石、蓝晶石和滑石变斑晶为特征,但是其峰变质矿物组合由基质中细粒的石榴石+绿辉石+多硅白云母+柯石英+金红石+绿帘石构成,它们定向分布形成片理构造。相图中石榴石组成等值线温压计确定的峰变质组合为:石榴石+绿辉石+多硅白云母+蓝晶石+金红石+柯石英+硬柱石+滑石,与岩相学观察结果不符。这可能是超高压变质流体显著偏离计算相图假设的流体相为纯水所致。无定向的变斑晶切割片理,晚于峰变质组合结晶于弱剪切应力的环境。岩相学观察和相图模拟结果显示,变斑晶的形成顺序为蓝晶石-绿帘石-滑石。绿帘石在<2GPa大量生长形成变斑晶,它包含柯石英并不一定说明二者平衡共生,更可能是温压快速下降后峰变质组合被绿帘石变斑晶包含。由矿物组合限定的青龙山变斑状榴辉岩P-T路径为典型的"发卡式"。含水矿物出现于岩石的各个变质组合,并且沿退变质P-T路径陆续结晶数量增多,表明在退变质过程中不断有流体渗入岩石。  相似文献

桃行榴辉岩是苏鲁超高压变质带中段主要榴辉岩体密集分布区之一。流体包裹体研究表明,榴辉岩矿物及高压脉体石英中捕获有五种类型的流体包裹体:在超高压-高压榴辉岩相条件下捕获的N2&#177;CH4包裹体;在榴辉岩发生麻粒岩相叠加变质作用期间被捕获的B型纯CO2液相包裹体;在高压榴辉岩重结晶阶段被捕获的C型CO2-H2O包裹体和D型高盐度水溶液包裹体;超高压岩石折返过程中的最晚阶段(角闪岩相退变质甚至更晚)捕获的E型低盐度水溶液包裹体。利用榴辉岩矿物及高压脉体石英中捕获的流体包裹体类型及期次可以重建超高压变质作用板片折返过程中的流体性状与演化,而石榴石中捕获的纯CO2包裹体为本区榴辉岩相岩石遭受了麻粒岩相叠加提供了佐证。  相似文献

Rb–Sr multimineral isochron data for metamorphic veins allow to date separate increments of the mineral reaction history of polymetamorphic terranes. Granulite facies rocks of the Lindås nappe, Bergen Arcs, Norway, were subducted and exhumed during the Caledonian orogeny. The rocks show petrographic evidence for two distinct events of local fluid infiltration and vein formation, along fractures and shear zones. The first occurred at eclogite facies (15–21 kbar, 650–750°C) and a later one at amphibolite facies conditions (8–10 kbar, 600°C). The presence of fluids enabled local metamorphic equilibration only near fluid pathways. In fluid-absent domains, preexisting assemblages were metastably preserved. This resulted in a heterogeneity of metamorphic signatures on meter to μm-scales. Well-preserved granulite facies rocks preserve their Proterozoic Rb–Sr mineral ages, as does the U–Pb system of zircon in most lithologies. Six Rb/Sr multimineral isochron ages for eclogite facies veins and their immediate wallrocks date the fluid-induced eclogitization at 429.9 ± 3.5 Ma (2σ, weighted average, MSWD = 0.39). An eclogite facies vein has yielded metamorphic zircon with concordant U–Pb ages of 429 ± 3 Ma, identical to the U–Pb age of 427.4 ± 0.9 Ma for zircon xenocrysts in an amphibolite facies vein. Seven Rb/Sr mineral isochron ages date amphibolite-facies fluid infiltration at 414.2 ± 2.8 Ma (MSWD = 1.5), an age value testifying to residence of the rocks in the deep orogenic crust at temperatures >600°C for nearly 15 Ma. The new data show that Rb–Sr mineral isochron ages effectively date fluid-induced (re)crystallization events rather than stages of cooling. The direct link between isotopic ages and distinct petrographic equilibrium assemblages aids to constrain the evolution of rocks in the P–T-reaction-time space, which is essential for understanding exhumation histories and the internal dynamics of orogens in general.  相似文献

戈木日榴辉岩产出于羌塘中部龙木错-双湖古板块缝合带内,是羌塘中部高压变质岩带的重要组成部分,前人多认为其系洋壳冷俯冲的产物。该榴辉岩的矿物组合可分为四期:第一期为含Fe~(3+)的钙钠闪石+钠云母+钠长石+绿泥石+石英+富含LREE、Th和U的褐帘石+榍石±富Mn的石榴子石。富Mg的石榴子石+贫Fe的绿辉石+不含微量元素的黝帘石+石英+钠云母+金红石+黄铁矿则为第二期矿物组合。第三期为退变质组合,包括钠长石、绿泥石、榍石和阳起石。第四期为磁铁矿、新生绿帘石和针状钛铁矿。热力学半定量模拟表明,石榴子石核部形成于T=644℃,P=13.0kbar,lgfO_2=-16.3~-16.4,而石榴子石幔部则形成于T=695℃,P=16.6kbar,lgfO_2=-19.0~-19.5,表明该榴辉岩属中温榴辉岩,而不是前人所言的冷榴辉岩,这反映了羌塘中部古特提斯洋盆的构造演化历史比较复杂,不仅有冷俯冲的洋壳,还有中温俯冲的洋壳。该榴辉岩在进变质过程中经历了还原作用,早期含Fe~(3+)的钙钠闪石和褐帘石等形成于高氧逸度之下的含水矿物,转变为形成于低氧逸度条件下的石榴子石和贫Fe的绿辉石、黝帘石等矿物,释放出水和轻REE、Th、U、Ba等微量元素。折返阶段新生成的矿物均不含有这些微量元素,表明早期阶段释放的微量元素很可能离开了俯冲板片,随流体进入上覆地幔楔。本文的研究进一步证实了进变质与还原作用共同促进了物质从俯冲板片中活化、转移至上覆地幔楔,这有助于理解具有独特地球化学特征的岛弧岩浆的起源。  相似文献

西大别造山带红安高压榴辉岩主要矿物为石榴石、绿辉石、冻蓝闪石、石英和绿帘石,有时可见蓝闪石、多硅白云母和钠云母。石榴石具有生长环带且边缘成分变化大,可分为代表峰期的Ⅰ型边(XMg高、Grs低)和受退变质改造的Ⅱ型边(XMg低、Grs高)。石榴石内蓝闪石包体发育冻蓝闪石退变边,说明包体不能完全反映进变质条件。基质绿辉石比包体绿辉石Jd含量低,在一个晶体内成分有明显变化和沿解理缝发育冻蓝闪石,显示峰后绿辉石有成分变化和退变质改造。基质中冻蓝闪石晶体较大,核部见有蓝闪石残留,说明二者有成因联系。冻蓝闪石和绿辉石都发育后成合晶结构,石榴石有韭闪石的反应冠状体。在THERMOCALC程序计算的P-T视剖面图中,石榴石Ⅰ型边反映的峰期P-T条件为2.4~2.6GPa、570~585℃,和基质中多硅白云母Si含量等值线限定范围一致,对应硬柱石蓝闪石榴辉岩组合。石榴石Ⅱ型边P-T范围为1.9~2.4GPa、530~570℃,低于峰期条件。在可能的峰后降压过程中,岩石先后主要经历了硬柱石脱水生成绿帘石和蓝闪石、绿辉石退变为冻蓝闪石的反应阶段。绿辉石、冻蓝闪石发育的后成合晶说明晚期退变过程缺乏流体,石榴石的韭闪石冠状体也可能在该阶段产生,都受局部成分域控制。红安高压榴辉岩中各矿物与成分代表不同变质阶段,称其为冻蓝闪石榴辉岩只是对现有主要组成矿物的描述,不是基于共生关系的严格岩石学命名。  相似文献
