西南交通大学建成的8m×10m/160t振动台是目前国内规模最大的振动台,对其运行质量和振动影响进行评价具有示范效应。探讨该振动台振动影响的现场实验于2017年初展开,实测结果表明:该振动台在工作频段内受控性能很好,对地震动信号重现度很高;台面满载满负荷运行时实验室建筑基础10m以内地面振动加速度实测值不超过6.6gal,振动速度小于2mm/s,不会对实验室厂房及附属办公建筑的安全、使用舒适性及人们正常工作、生活造成不利影响。 相似文献

Oscillating Water Column (OWC) is one of the pioneer devices in harnessing wave energy; however, it is not fully commercialized perhaps due to the complicated hydrodynamic behavior. Previous studies are significantly devoted to OWC devices located in nearshore and coastal regions where incident wave energy would experience dissipation more than offshore. In this paper, a 1:15 scaled fixed offshore OWC model is tested in a large towing tank of National Iranian Marine Laboratory. Wave spectrum shape effect on the efficiency of the OWC model is addressed. Moreover, the paper investigates the effects of the geometric and hydrodynamic factors on OWC device efficiency and uncovers new points in nonlinear interaction occurring inside the chamber; i.e. sloshing. The results indicate that shape of the spectrum inside the chamber is affected by the type of incident wave spectrum, especially for long waves. Pierson–Moskowitz spectrum leaded to higher efficiency rather than JONSWAP spectrum at longer incident wave periods. According to efficiency analysis, increasing wave height may lead to air leakage from the chamber followed by vortex generation, which is a reason for decreasing the efficiency of the OWC device. Furthermore, no shift in the resonant period of the OWC model, due to wave height increase, was observed at the opening ratios equal or smaller than 1.28%. Spectral analysis of water fluctuation inside the OWC chamber illustrates two modes of sloshing. The first mode can be seen at short period waves while the second mode is visible at long period waves. The sloshing modes approximately vanish by increasing draft value. 相似文献

In this paper, vortex-induced vibrations (VIV) of an elastically mounted sphere with two linear degrees of freedom have been experimentally studied. The dynamic response analysis shows that, for the range of reduced velocity from 2 to 14 here investigated, the sphere exhibits similar amplitudes and frequencies compared to the tethered sphere, and Modes I and II are detected. A new application of the phase average approach allowed extrapolating the periodic trajectory pattern from the experimental trajectories. In particular, more than one dominant harmonic component is observed in the streamwise oscillation, so the sphere trajectories are significantly different from the traditional figure-of-eight shape. The main difference is that these trajectories are not self-intersecting. Based on the experimental observations, an analytical model of the trajectory is built and discussed. 相似文献

Remote observations with the Chandra X-ray Observatory and the XMM-Newton Observatory have shown that the jovian system is a source of X-rays with a rich and complicated structure. The planet's polar auroral zones and its disk are both powerful sources of X-ray emission. Chandra observations revealed X-ray emission from the Io plasma torus and from the Galilean moons Io, Europa, and possibly Ganymede. The emission from the moons is due to bombardment of their surfaces by highly energetic magnetospheric protons, and oxygen and sulfur ions. These ions excite atoms in their surfaces leading to fluorescent X-ray emission lines. These lines are produced against an intense background continuum, including bremsstrahlung radiation from surface interactions of primary magnetospheric and secondary electrons. Although the X-ray emission from the Galilean moons is faint when observed from Earth orbit, an imaging X-ray spectrometer in orbit around one or more of these moons, operating from 200 eV to 8 keV with 150 eV energy resolution, would provide a detailed mapping of the elemental composition in their surfaces. Surface resolution of 40 m for small features could be achieved in a 100-km orbit around one moon while also remotely imaging surfaces of other moons and Jupiter's upper atmosphere at maximum regional resolutions of hundreds of kilometers. Due to its relatively more benign magnetospheric radiation environment, its intrinsic interest as the largest moon in the Solar System, and its mini-magnetosphere, Ganymede would be the ideal orbital location for long-term observational studies of the jovian system. Here we describe the physical processes leading to X-ray emission from the surfaces of Jupiter's moons and the properties required for the technique of imaging X-ray spectroscopy to map the elemental composition of their surfaces, as well as studies of the X-ray emission from the planet's aurora and disk and from the Io plasma torus. 相似文献

We carried out 16 collision experiments in the drop tower in Bremen, Germany. Dust projectiles and solid projectiles of several mm in size impacted a dust target 5 cm in depth and width at velocities between 3.5 and 21.5 m/s. For solid impactors we found significant mass loss on the front (impact) side of the target. Mass loss depended on the impact velocity and projectile type (solid sphere or dust) and was up to 35 times the projectile mass for targets of the lowest tensile strength. Typical fragment velocities on the front side of the target ranged from 3 to 12 cm/s. The ejecta velocity was independent of the impact velocity but it increased with projectile mass. On the back side of the target (opposite to the impact side) mass was ejected from the target above a certain threshold impact velocity. Ejection velocity on the back side increased with impact velocity and is larger for solid projectiles than for dust projectiles. In one case a slightly stronger target gained mass in a slow dust-dust collision. We verified that collisions of dust projectiles with compact, very strong dust targets lead to a more massive target accreting part of the projectile. Applied to planetesimal formation, the experiments suggest that the maximum possible ejecta velocity from a body of several cm in size after a collision is small. Ejecta were slow enough that they were reaccreted by means of gas flow if large pores were part of the body's morphology. While very weak bodies cannot grow in the primary collision at the given velocities, this can lead to growth by secondary collisions. Slight compression, which could result from preceding collisions, might lead to immediate growth of a body in slow collisions by adding projectile mass. 相似文献

An experimental facility has been developed to investigate magma-water interaction (MWI). The facility operates in a high-pressure
and high-temperature environment, with temperatures up to 1,200°C and pressures up to 200 MPa. Cylindrical sample-holders
(20 by 180 mm in size) are heated conductively to yield a three phase (melt, crystals and gas) system, and then water (or
other fluid) is injected into the sample through a capillary tube (diameter 0.5 mm, length ca. 1,000 mm) under controlled
conditions. Pressure, volume and temperature changes are continuously recorded during every phase of the experiments. To test
this facility, MWI is studied at subliquidus temperatures (800 and 900°C) and pressure (8 MPa), using a leucite tephrite sample
with two different initial grain sizes. Because of the grain-size dependence of sintering, the two starting materials produce
magmas with different textures at the same temperature: porous magma for large initial grain sizes and dense magma for small
initial grain sizes. In these experiments 1.5 g of water at room temperature is injected into 6.0 g of partially molten sample
at velocities ranging from 1 to 3 m/s. We find that the extent of fragmentation and transport caused by MWI are mainly controlled
by the texture of the interacting sample with explosive interaction occurring only for porous magmas. 相似文献

A homogeneous resin print of the surface of a naturally-fractured granite block with an experimental Hurst exponent H?0.7 is placed in a water tank. An acoustical source insonifies the surface in a near-nadir direction and the backscattered waves are recorded near the source. Such measurements are made at different positions along a profile above the surface in order to obtain the energy spectrum of the mean backscattered wavefield. The wavelength range considered is 0.58?λ?8.72 mm in water. A synthetic energy spectrum is obtained from a model [Shepard and Campbell, Icarus 141 (1999) 156] which represents the rough surface as an ensemble of point scatterers and assumes a single-scattering regime. This model reasonably fits with the experimental spectrum with the largest discrepancies observed for λ<2.5 mm. The fit is improved in the whole wavelength interval by accounting for the long-range topography variations occurring along the averaging profile. 相似文献

尽管40Ar和36Ar之间质量相差达1/10,但是受放射性成因40Ar的影响,一般认为难以进行氩同位素分馏研究.本文通过自行设计的一套氩扩散迁移实验分析系统,对比研究了氩在不同的扩散介质条件下扩散迁移前后氩同位素组成变化情况,证实氩在致密的扩散介质条件下以分子流形式从一个储库向另一个储库的迁移过程中,由于36Ar和40Ar的迁移速率不同,扩散后的40Ar/36Ar值比扩散前的值要小,也即发生了氩同位素分馏.氩同位素分馏的特征表现为最初的一段时间内分馏程度逐步增强,在一定时间后,由于储库之间压力逐渐达到平衡,分馏程度逐步减小.研究自然界中存在的氩同位素分馏,不仅可以判别油气田中油气运移的方向、增强油气远景评价和地球化学勘探,而且对深源岩浆的起源、迁移等研究也可提供新的研究思路和途径. 相似文献
