滇中玉溪—昆阳一带广泛出露的中元古界昆阳群是一套与晋宁运动密切相关的浅变质火山-沉积岩系,其形成时代、沉积充填序列及大地构造属性一直存在争议。出露于峨山县美党地区的昆阳群黑山头组富良棚段发育有厚近百米的安山质熔结凝灰岩、晶屑凝灰岩、玄武岩及岩屑凝灰岩。对样品D0121-1及D0121-2进行同位素年代学研究,分别获得LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年龄加权平均值为1007±13Ma和1005±18Ma;同时,样品D0121-2中还获较多的2200±15Ma继承性锆石,推测滇中地区应存在古元古代的地质体。2件样品锆石的Th/U值均大于0.3,均具清晰的振荡环带结构,均为岩浆成因的锆石,表明黑山头组富良棚段形成于中元古代晚期,属于与造山作用相关的火山岩系,可能是罗迪尼亚超大陆事件在扬子陆块的响应,是全球格林维尔期造山过程的组成部分。  相似文献

The Paleoproterozoic basement of the northeastern part of the Leo-Man craton is intruded by generally NW-trending dikes. These regional scale dikes extend over 1000 km in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. We present chemical and Sr-Nd isotope compositions, as well as 40Ar/39Ar ages of these dikes with the following strikes N98°–N112°, and N114°–N124° in NE Burkina Faso. Field relationships show that the dikes are posterior to all other rock types dated between 2.26 Ga and 2.0 Ga. Chemical data indicate that the dikes are continental flood basalts and composed of low-Ti (TiO2 ≤ 2 wt.%) sub-alkaline basalts and andesites. They exhibit a minor negative Europium anomaly (0.86–0.99) and slightly fractionated REE patterns ((La/Yb)N = 2.5–9.1; YbN = 9.5–19.9). The ratios of Th/Ta (1.3–11.4) and Ce/Pb (5.2–58.5) suggest a varying crustal assimilation of the dike magmas during ascent in the continental crust for all studied samples. Calculated P-T conditions indicate that the magma reached temperatures of 1285 °C (calculated from olivine compositions) and pressures of 6.9 kbar (calculated for pyroxene minerals). Calculated initial 87Sr/86Sr (0.70040–0.70260) and ɛNd(t) = +2.1 to −3.5 at 1575 Ma, also point to a crustal contamination with the most primitive samples showing TDM values of 1946 Ma and 2154 Ma. The low values of La/Ba (<0.2) and Nb/La (<1.0), contrast with the low Th/Nb (<0.9), and suggest a lithospheric mantle or subduction-modified mantle as possible source for the dikes. Sr-Nd data, Mg# and Nb-Ta-Zr-Y-Th-Tb-Yb compositions further suggest that the most primitive samples were emplaced in a none orogenic setting and their magmas were subjected to variable crustal contaminations. Literature and the present whole rock 40Ar/39Ar age determinations show that the dikes were emplaced during a widespread Mesoproterozoic magmatism between 1.6 Ga and 1.2 Ga, and were affected by a thermal event causing the argon systematics resetting, best constrained by the date of sample KK1 (1236 ± 20 Ma, 40Ar/36Ar = 294 ± 13, MSWD = 2.2). Contemporaneous 1590–1570 Ma extensive magmatism is reported in other crustal blocks in Baltica (Sveconorw-Goth, svecofennian) NW Laurentia (Slave craton, Yukon), and Australia (Gawler craton), and together with the 1575 studied dikes, are related to the breakup of the supercontinent Nuna.  相似文献

Paleoproterozoic to Mesoproterozoic cratonic basins in the São Francisco Craton are classified into three megasequences: Statherian, Calymmian–early Ectasian, and Stenian–early Tonian sequences. The location, depositional age, and provenance of these sequences are reflected in their detrital zircon U–Pb age distributions. A minimum of five detrital zircon age distributions are distinguishable: i) the Archean and Rhyacian distribution, which is restricted to the Calymmian interval at Chapada Diamantina; ii) the Rhyacian distribution, which occurs in the Statherian, Calymmian, and Stenian intervals and generally precedes the Proterozoic distribution; iii) the Proterozoic distribution, which always succeeds the Rhyacian distribution and appears in the Brasília Belt and Southern Espinhaço; iv) the mixed Archean and Proterozoic distribution, restricted to the Stenian interval at the Southern Brasília Belt; and v) the Statherian distribution, which is present in the Statherian interval at Espinhaço Basin and is recycled into the Calymmian and Stenian intervals at Chapada Diamantina. Based on the Hf isotope compositions of the detrital zircons, most of the sequences are predominantly sourced from Archean juvenile terrains and from Archean and Paleoproterozoic evolved terrains. The exception is the Paranoá Group, western São Francisco Craton, whose positive ɛHf(t) values suggest juvenile Paleoproterozoic sources such as the Goiás Massif. The Archean zircons from Chapada Diamantina have Hf depleted mantle model ages ranging from Paleoarchean to Neoarchean and are mainly derived from the Gavião Block within northeastern São Francisco Craton. The model unify a dataset spanning hundreds of millions of years of the depositional record over a large area of central and eastern Brazil. The records will assist researchers in unraveling the sedimentary and tectonic history of the Archean and Paleoproterozoic continents from new data collected regionally and in other continents.  相似文献

辽西中元古界魏家沟岩群是四堡构造运动的构造产物,区域上经历了2期变形.第一期变形机制为中浅部构造层次的水平剪切流变,同时伴生绿片岩相区域变质作用.该期构造变形直接导致魏家沟岩群碎屑岩由层状体转化为片理化、条带状构造的似层状体,主要构造形迹有透入性片理、糜棱叶理、矿物线理.第二期变形以先期片理、糜棱叶理为变形面,形成一系列的褶皱构造和褶劈理构造,发生于浅部构造层次,其地质意义在于为铜多金属矿的富集提供了空间及动力.  相似文献

The Palaeoproterozoic–Mesoproterozoic transition (~1600 Ma) is a significant event in the Earth history as a global thermal perturbation affected the pre-1600 Ma landmasses. Like other cratonic blocks of the world, lithospheric thinning, sedimentation, magmatism, metamorphism and crustal melting/anatexis are associated with this significant geological event in the Singhbhum cratonic province of India. This paper is a review of sedimentological, magmatic and tectono-thermal events in the Singhbhum craton at ~1600 Ma. The Palaeo-Mesoproterozoic sedimentation and volcanism in the Singhbhum craton took place in a terrestrial intracontinental rift setting. The available geochronological data are indicative of late Palaeoproterozoic to Neoproterozoic tectono-thermal events in the Chhotanagpur Granite Gneissic Complex (CGGC), an east–west trending arcuate belt of granite gneisses, migmatites and metasedimentary rocks. A detailed multidisciplinary geo-scientific investigation of the Dalma volcanic belt and the area to its north (Chandil Formation) and further north in CGGC will enable us to constrain the extant surface processes and crust-mantle interactions, the collision events between the North and South Indian cratonic blocks, and the position of India in the Columbia supercontinent.  相似文献

冈底斯北缘的卡穷岩群为一套中高级变质岩系,其形成时代至今未得到有效限定。通过高精度的LA-ICP-MS(激光剥蚀等离子体质谱)锆石微区原位U-Pb同位素测年,获得西藏八宿县同卡乡北卡穷岩群条带状斜长角闪岩(正变质岩)上交点年龄为(1082±18)Ma,将该岩群原岩形成时代厘定为中元古代末,即晚蓟县世。同时,获得卡穷岩群中片麻状二长花岗岩的上交点年龄为(549±18)Ma,属于泛非期构造-热事件的岩浆作用记录;结合野外地质和岩相学特征,认为该岩体为卡穷岩群变质火山-沉积岩系部分熔融的产物,岩浆未发生远距离运移侵位。泛非运动之后,卡穷岩群还经历一次(416±23)Ma强烈的构造作用,这次构造作用的地质意义值得进一步研究。  相似文献

[摘 要]以往的研究工作将藏东吉塘群分两个组:上部以片岩、变质砂砾岩为主的地层名酉西组;下部以片岩、片麻岩、混合岩为主的地层名恩达组,时代均属前震旦纪。近几年,开展1:25 万编图项目的研究,恩达组可细分为两个岩性段:混合岩段和以片岩、片麻岩、变粒岩、斜长角闪岩及大理岩共同组成的深变质岩段。酉西组中获得新的同位素年龄:240±12Ma( 锆石U-Pb)、226±2Ma( 白云母Ar-Ar),时代可能为古生代,更名为酉西岩群。恩达组的混合岩中新获得锆石SHRIMP U-Pb 同位素年龄254±8Ma、232±9Ma、227±1.8Ma,原1:20 万类乌齐、拉多幅曾于相当恩达组的花岗片麻岩中获得锆石U-Pb年龄253±9Ma、195Ma,这一岩段的混合岩可能是华力西至燕山期变形变质的花岗岩侵入体,应从吉塘群中分离出去。原恩达组中除混合岩外的地层更名为吉塘岩群,时代属古中元古代。  相似文献

Three widespread felsic volcanic units, the Eucarro Rhyolite, Pondanna Dacite Member and Moonaree Dacite Member, have been distinguished in the Mesoproterozoic Gawler Range Volcanics. These three units are the largest in the Gawler Range Volcanics, each in excess of 500 km3. Each unit is ~300 m thick and includes a black, formerly glassy base, a granophyric columnar‐jointed interior, and an amygdaloidal outer margin. The units are very gently dipping and locally separated by thin (<20 m) lenses of either ignimbrite (Mt Double Ignimbrite), tuffaceous sandstone or faults. The youngest unit, the Moonaree Dacite Member, covers a central area with a diameter greater than 80 km. The southern two units have east‐west extents in the order of 180 km, but are much less extensive from south to north (5–60 km). All three units are dominated by euhedral phenocrysts and are relatively crystal rich. Both the Eucarro Rhyolite and Moonaree Dacite Member contain clasts of basement granitoid and other lithologies and are locally heterogeneous in texture and composition. Some granitoid clasts have disintegrated, liberating feldspar and quartz crystals into the surrounding host. These liberated crystals cause textural variations, but can be identified on the basis of shape (amoeboid or skeletal) and/or size (megacrysts). Textural and lithofacies characteristics are consistent with the interpretation that these units are lavas; the strongly elongate distribution and wide extent of the Eucarro Rhyolite and Pondanna Dacite Member could indicate that vents were aligned along an extensive east‐west‐trending fissure system. Stratigraphic nomenclature has been revised to better reflect the presence of the three emplacement units. The oldest unit, the Eucarro Rhyolite, is dominated by plagioclase‐phyric rhyolite that locally includes granitoid clasts and megacrysts. Along the northern margin, the rhyolite is amygdaloidal and has mingled with a quartz‐rich rhyolite (Paney Rhyolite Member). The Eucarro Rhyolite and Paney Rhyolite Member replace the formerly defined ‘Eucarro Dacite’, ‘Nonning Rhyodacite’, ‘Yannabie Rhyodacite’ and ‘Paney Rhyolite’. The two younger units, Pondanna Dacite Member and Moonaree Dacite Member, are compositionally and spatially distinct, newly defined members of the Yardea Dacite.  相似文献

A major Mesoproterozoic paleo-plate boundary in the southwestern Amazonian Craton, the Guaporé Suture Zone, is investigated by U–Pb zircon geochronology, Sr–Nd isotope geochemistry and aeromagnetic data. This suture zone is constituted dominantly by ophiolitic mafic–ultramafic rocks of the Trincheira Complex, and minor proportion of tonalites of the Rio Galera and São Felipe complexes, Colorado Complex, amphibolites of the Rio Alegre Terrane and syn- to late-kinematic mafic to felsic plutonic rocks. The ophiolitic Trincheira Complex formed during an accretionary phase from 1470 to 1430 Ma and was overprinted by upper amphibolite–granulite facies metamorphism during the collisional phase of the Ectasian followed by syntectonic emplacement of gabbro and granite plutons (1350–1340 Ma). The ophiolites were intruded by syntectonic tonalitic–plagiogranitic plutons ca. 1435 Ma. Mafic–ultramafic rocks of the Trincheira ophiolites show moderate to highly positive initial epsilon Nd (t = 1.46 Ga) values (+2.6 to +8.8) and very low initial 87Sr/86Sr ratio (0.7013–0.7033). It is suggested that these magmas originated from a depleted mantle source in an island-arc–back-arc setting. The identification of a fossil ophiolite in the Guaporé Suture Zone early as 1470–1435 Ma and later collisional phase, as late as 1350 Ma, marks the impingement of the proto-Amazonian Craton against the Paragua Block, before the formation of the Rodinia supercontinent. The results provide important insights into the geodynamic history of the SW Amazonian Craton, with evidence for both accretionary orogen and subduction of oceanic lithosphere in the Mesoproterozoic, and provide information that allows other workers to evaluate the configuration of supercontinents.  相似文献
