This paper presents a new approach for the evaluation of accurate lateral force distributions for the Linear Static Analysis (LSA) of Base Isolated (BI-) buildings. In essence, the proposed lateral force distributions depend on a factor measuring the degree of non- linearity of the Isolation System (IS) and on the ratio between the effective period of the BI-structure (Tis) and the fundamental period of the Fixed Based (FB-) structure (Tfb). The proposed approach is fully compatible with the Direct Displacement-Based Design (DDBD) method, recently developed by Priestley and co-workers. The proposed lateral force distributions have been derived from the results of a large number of Nonlinear Time-History Analyses (NTHA), carried out on six numerical models of multi-storey buildings, differing in storey number (3, 5 and 8, respectively) and fundamental period of vibration (from 0.25 to 0.8 s) in the fixed-base configuration. A great variety of Isolation Systems (ISs), characterised by either Elasto-Plastic with Hardening (EPH) or Flag-Shaped (FS) force-displacement behaviour, have been considered in the NTHA. The numerical parameters of the IS models have been varied in such a way as to reproduce the actual mechanical behaviour of the main currently used ISs, including: (i) Lead Rubber Bearings (LRB), (ii) High-Damping Rubber Bearings (HDRB), (iii) Friction Pendulum Bearings (FPB), (iv) combinations of flat Sliding Bearings (SB) and Low-Damping Rubber Bearings (LDRB) and (v) Combinations of flat SB and re-centring devices based on Shape Memory Alloys (SMA). Comparisons between the storey shear forces derived with the proposed method and those obtained from NTHA clearly show the great improvements in the accuracy of LSA predictions, when using the proposed lateral force distributions.  相似文献

本文按现行规范及技术规程设计了设防烈度为8度的一个规则的钢筋混凝土异形柱框架,并进行了单向水平地震作用下的空间三维非线性地震反应分析,考查了异形柱框架结构在设防和罕遇地震水准下的整体抗震性能,对结构能否达到抗震设防目标进行了初步评价。结果表明,8度区按规范设计的结构在设防烈度及罕遇烈度地震作用下基本能够达到预期的抗震设防目标。  相似文献

The study investigated the cyclic behavior of unbonded, post‐tensioned, precast concrete‐filled tube segmental bridge columns by loading each specimen twice. Moreover, a stiffness‐degrading flag‐shaped (SDFS) hysteretic model was developed based on self‐centering and stiffness‐degrading behaviors. The proposed model overcomes the deficiency of cyclic behavior prediction using a FS model, which self‐centers with fixed elastic and inelastic stiffnesses. Experimental and analytical results showed that (1) deformation capabilities of the column under the first and second cyclic tests were similar; however, energy dissipation capacities significantly differed from each other, and (2) the SDFS model predicted the cyclic response of the column better than the FS model. Inelastic time‐history analyses were performed to demonstrate the dynamic response variability of a single‐degree‐of‐freedom (SDOF) system using both models. A parametric study, performed on SDOF systems subjected to eight historical earthquakes, showed that increased displacement ductility demand was significant for structures with a low period and low‐to‐medium yield strength ratio and reduced displacement ductility demand in these systems was effectively attained by increasing energy dissipation capacity. 全球扭转构造体系不仅是球面现象,而且波及整个地球.本文着重指出地球圈层耦合扭转的机制,揭示该机制对于板块构造的控制规律.赤道面与银道面的交角达62°36′,当银心从北天球移动到南天球时,在公转离心力的驱动下,塑性地幔将向南半球运移而大陆板块则向北半球漂移,从而导致南、北半球的非对称性和两半球的相对扭转.地球的大陆漂移的节律与银河系涡旋周期一致,太阳系内旋转状态相同的行(卫)星与地球同步扭转.  相似文献

本文通过对西天山研究区的遥感地质解译、野外实地验证和综合对比研究,认为西天山地区与邻区的穆龙套金矿、库姆托尔金矿同处一条巨型的构造带上,具有非常相似的大地构造环境、构造演化和赋金建造条件,尤其是分布于那拉提构造带南缘的弧形构造带和南北向贯穿那拉提构造带的横向断裂组是控矿的重要因素。区域上赋金层炭质岩系的存在和蚀变体的广泛发育,使金元素活化、富集成为可能。研究区内大量的金矿化、异常是金矿体存在的客观反映。据此,笔者预测出4处找矿有利地段。  相似文献

Depressions in landscapes function as buffers for water and sediment. A landscape with depressions has less runoff, less erosion and more sedimentation than that without depressions. Sinks in digital elevation models (DEMs) can be considered the real features that represent depressions in actual landscapes or spurious features that result from errors in DEM creation. In many hydrological and erosion models, all sinks are considered as spurious features and, as a result, these models do not deal with the sinks that represent real depressions. Consequently, the surface runoff and erosion are overestimated due to removing the depressions. Aiming at this problem, this paper presents a new method, which deal with the sinks that represent real depressions. The drainage network is extracted without changing the original DEM. The method includes four steps: detecting pits, detecting depressions, merging depressions, and extracting drainage network. Because the elevations of grid cells are not changed, the method can also avoid producing new fiat areas, which are always produced by the conventional filling methods. The proposed method was applied to the Xihanshui River basin, the upper reach of the Jialingjiang River basin, China, to automatically extract the drainage network based on DEM. The extracted drainage network agrees well with the reality and can be used for further hydrologic analysis and erosion estimation.  相似文献

对于充满泥浆的大口径钻孔轴线是否达到设计要求,需要对钻孔轴线的垂直度进行检验。然而常用的铅锤目测法与轴心系线法都无法准确检验钻孔轴线是否偏移。在统一采用桶体检验的基础上,对传统的方法进行改进。采用钢管隔离,人造空间,运用光走直线、垂直对焦的原理,制作了同步变形桶体、管内发光、镜显交点、以测量仪器为钻孔轴线中心点的“光源十字镜检测器具”。经实测检验,证明该检验器具满足设计要求,从而解决了对充满泥浆的大口径钻孔轴线是否偏移的检测问题。  相似文献
