Volcanic detrital sediments are a unique indicator for reconstructing the petrogenetie evolution of submarine volcanic terrains. Volcanic ash in surficial sediments around the Zhongsha Islands includes three kinds of volcanogenic detritus, i.e., brown volcanic glass, colorless volcanic glass and volcanic scoria. The major element characteristics show that bimodal volcanic activity may have taken place in the northern margin of the South China Sea, with brown volcanic glass and colorless volcanic glass repre-senting the maric end-member and felsie end-member, respectively. Fractional crystallization is the main process for magma evolu-tion. The nature of the volcanic activity implies that the origin of volcanic activity was related to extensional tectonic settings, which is corresponding to an extensional geodynamie setting in the Xisha Trench, and supports the notion, which is based on geophysical data and petrology, that there may exist a mantle plume around the Hainan Island.  相似文献

新疆阿尔泰苏普特一带中泥盆统阿勒泰组为一套以玄武质岩石为主的双峰式火山岩组合,下部以变质玄武岩为主,夹少量流纹岩,中部以变质玄武岩、玄武质凝灰岩、沉凝灰岩为主,夹少量酸性火山岩及其碎屑岩,上部流纹质岩石有所增加。玄武质岩石往往变质为角闪片岩、绿帘阳起石片岩等,属拉斑玄武岩系列,低SiO2、K2O,高Ti,富Na、Rb、Ba、Th、U等,轻稀土略富集,无明显铕异常,Nb负异常明显,相似于MORB和岛弧型玄武岩的某些特征,与弧后盆地玄武岩的特征基本一致。流纹质岩石属钙碱性系列,高SiO2,低K2O,为钠质型;大离子亲石元素富集,具明显的Nb、P、Ti负异常和弱的Th正异常,Sr含量较低;稀土元素含量较高,∑REE为135.67×10-6~407.71×10-6,轻稀土略富集,(La/Yb)N为2.55~3.73,铕负异常较明显,δEu值为0.34~0.54。流纹质岩石地球化学特征也与典型弧后盆地双峰式火山岩中的流纹岩相似。结合区域资料分析,苏普特双峰式火山岩是阿尔泰南缘俯冲撕裂型裂谷盆地演化晚期局部形成的类似于弧后环境的产物。  相似文献

Abstract

New zircon laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and secondary ion mass spectroscopy U–Pb ages, and Hf isotope and whole-rock geochemical data are reported for Mesozoic igneous rocks from the eastern margin of the Songnen–Zhangguangcai Range Massif, Northeast China, in order to document the petrogenesis of the igneous rocks and reconstruct the early Mesozoic tectonic setting of the region. Zircons from five representative igneous rocks are euhedral–subhedral and display oscillatory growth zoning or striped absorption in cathodoluminescence images, suggesting a magmatic origin. The dating results indicate that granite, gabbro, and rhyolite from the eastern Songnen–Zhangguangcai Range Massif formed during Late Triassic (204–211 Ma). The Late Triassic granitoids and rhyolites have an affinity to A-type granites or rhyolites. Their zircon εHf(t) values and Hf two-stage model ages range from –3.8 to +3.8 and from 999 to 1485 Ma, respectively, indicating that their primary melts were derived from the partial melting of the Meso-Proterozoic crust. The geochemistry of coeval gabbros, which reflects primary magma composition, shows a significant large ion lithophile element (e.g. Ba and Sr) enrichment and high field strength element (i.e. Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta, and Ti) depletion. Based on zircon εHf(t) values (–4.2 to +2.8) and Hf single-stage model ages (746–1031 Ma), we conclude that the mafic magma is the product of partial melting of lithospheric mantle that was metasomatically enriched by fluids derived from the subducted oceanic crust. The Late Triassic magmatism along the eastern margin of the Eurasian continent has bimodal magma compositions, indicating an extensional setting after the final closure of the Palaeo-Asian Ocean rather than being related to subduction of the Palaeo-Pacific Plate beneath the Eurasian continent. The occurrence of Late Triassic igneous rocks on the eastern side of the Mudanjiang Fault suggests that this fault does not represent the suture zone between the Songnen–Zhangguangcai Range and Jiamusi massifs.  相似文献

怀宁盆地是长江中下游地区晚中生代发育的一系列断陷型火山岩盆地中的一个,盆地内的火山岩主体以高钾和相对富碱为特征,属典型的橄榄玄粗岩系列.但晚期出现玄武质-流纹质双峰式火山岩组合.盆地内的火山岩均表现出明显富集Rb、Th、U、K等强不相容元素和轻稀土元素,亏损高场强元素Nb和Ta的地球化学特征.本文分别测得怀宁盆地早期彭家口组粗安岩的SHRIMP和LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年龄分别为(129.4±1.6) Ma和(131.6±0.6) Ma,晚期江镇组双峰式火山岩的酸性端元——流纹岩的LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年龄为(122.3±0.7) Ma.区域对比表明,怀宁盆地内火山作用的时间总体与庐枞盆地等长江中下游地区其他火山岩盆地中岩浆活动的时代类似,但火山活动结束的时间要晚于其他盆地约6 Ma.怀宁盆地内的火山岩与长江中下游地区其他橄榄玄粗岩系列火山岩盆地相比具有更宽广的εNd(t)值变化范围和相对更低的εNd(t)值,这与其所处的构造位置紧邻大别造山带,有更多地壳物质的参与有关,显示怀宁火山岩盆地内的岩浆主要来自富集型地幔的部分熔融,但不同程度地混染了古老的下地壳物质.  相似文献

Wind power density, vertical velocity profiles, and other wind characteristics were established using a 51 m meteorological mast located very close to the shoreline on the northwest of the Yucatan peninsula in the Gulf of Mexico. A comparative study of the wind power density was carried out using information obtained between September 2010 and September 2011. The wind speed probability density function was found to be bimodal due to sea-land breezes, a characteristic that becomes less evident as the vertical distance to the ground increases. The distinction between these two wind regimes was used to fit the Weibull-Weibull curve using a linear least-squares criterion in the parameters. In addition, numerical simulations from a mesoscale model are in close agreement with measurements above z = 50 m (z is the vertical distance to the ground). This result suggests that some mesoscale simulations may serve as a preliminary wind energy assessment tool in coastal zones with extended low-lying areas.  相似文献

本文对嫩江地区中生代双峰式火山岩进行了锆石LA-ICP-MSU-Pb年代学和岩石地球化学研究。测年结果显示嫩江地区中生代双峰式火山岩形成于127.5Ma的早白垩世晚期。岩石地球化学研究表明,早白垩世晚期火山岩具有双峰式组合特点,基性端员富碱,富含轻稀土元素和大离子亲石元素,亏损重稀土元素和高场强元素(Nb、Ta、Ti、Y),形成于富集的岩石圈地幔的部分熔融和分离结晶作用,形成的过程可能含有少量的陆壳混染。酸性端员显示A型流纹岩的特征,为幔源岩浆底侵,使中下地壳岩石发生部分熔融的成因。双峰式火山岩组合的存在暗示其形成于陆内拉张的构造环境。结合区域上中生代火山岩的空间展布特征,嫩江地区早白垩世晚期双峰式火山岩的形成应与太平洋板块向欧亚大陆的俯冲作用有关。  相似文献

青藏高原南部中国境内是否存在寒武纪地层一直是地质界关注的焦点。研究表明.冈底斯北缘西藏尼玛县控错南帮勒村一带,原划的前震旦纪念青唐古拉岩群为一套浅变质的拉斑系列双峰式火山岩。通过高精度LA—ICP—MS(激光剥蚀等离子体质谱)锆石微区原位u—Pb同位素测年,获得其中变流纹岩“Pb/“u年龄加权平均值为(536.4±3.6)Ma,确定该套火山岩形成于 旱寒武世。地球化学分析表明,变玄武岩富集LREE、L1LE、部分HFSE,Nb、Ta、Zr、Hf等亏损,Zr/Nb比值(2.53~3.61)低;变流纹岩明显富集LREE、LILE、Th、HFSE,具有Eu负异常和sr、Nb、Ta、Ti负异常。同时,变玄武岩的gNd(t)为负值(一2.80~一4.56)。源区为富集地幔端元EMll。反映其源区为岩石圈和软流圈相互作用的产物,并遭受了地壳物质的混染。综合分析认为该套火山岩形成于陆缘裂谷环境.为冈底斯北缘存在寒武纪裂解作用提供了佐证。  相似文献

Petrogeochemical data are reported for silicic volcanic rocks from the Tianshan Carboniferous rift, with the aim of discussing the petrogenesis of silicic magmas. Incompatible element vs. incompatible element diagrams display smooth positive trends for the Tianshan Carboniferous rift-related volcanic rocks; the isotope ratios of the silicic lavas [^87Sr/^86S(t)=0.699880.70532; eNd(t)=4.76-8.00; ^206pb/^204pb(t)=17.435-18.017; ^207Pb/^204Pb(t)=15.438-15.509; ^208Pb/^204Pb(t) = 37.075-37.723] encompass those of the basic lavas. These data suggest a genetic link between rhyolites and basalts, but are not definitive in establishing whether silicic rocks are related to basalts through fractional crystallization or partial melting. Geochemical modeling of incompatible vs. compatible elements excludes the possibility that silicic melts are generated by the melting of basaltic rocks, and indicates a derivation by fractional crystallization plus moderate assimilation of wall rocks (AFC) starting from intermediate rocks to silicic rocks. Continuous AFC from basalt to rhyolite, with small rates of crustal assimilation, best explains the geochemical data. The presence or absence of bimodal volcanism (the "Daly Gap") might be related to cooling rates of magma chambers. In central and eastern Tianshan, the crust was thinner and the cooling rates of the magma chamber within the crust were greater. These conditions resulted in a rapid fall in temperature within the magma reservoir and caused a narrow temperature interval over which intermediate melts formed, effectively reducing the volume of the intermediate melts.  相似文献

准噶尔盆地南缘晚古生代双峰式火山岩组合以玄武岩和英安斑岩的伴生出现为特征。锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb定年结果显示,英安斑岩和玄武岩的结晶年龄分别为298±2 Ma和297~304 Ma。在地球化学组成上,英安斑岩样品富SiO_2、Al_2O_3和Na_2O,相对于原始地幔富集Th和LREE,明显亏损Nb、Ta和Ti等高场强元素;而玄武岩样品相对于原始地幔明显富集Th、LREE、Zr和Hf等,明显亏损Nb、Ta和Ti。全岩Sr-Nd同位素研究结果显示,英安斑岩样品(~(87)Sr/~(86)Sr)t值为0.705,εNd(t)值分布在+6.5~+11之间,而玄武岩样品的(~(87)Sr/~(86)Sr)t值为0.704,εNd(t)值分布在+7.5~+8.4之间。这些特征指示玄武岩和英安斑岩应分别起源于相对亏损的地幔源区和新生地壳组分的部分熔融。综合野外地质、岩石学、地球化学和同位素地质学等多方面的资料,可以确定准南地区玄武岩和英安斑岩并非同源岩浆作用的产物。其中,玄武岩应起源于亏损地幔的部分熔融,并且岩浆在上升侵位过程中经历了一定程度的陆壳混染。英安斑岩的形成与玄武质岩浆的底侵导致新生地壳组分的部分熔融有关。结合区域上已有的研究成果,认为至少从早二叠世(~298 Ma)开始,天山地区已经进入后碰撞阶段,区域构造体制开始由挤压转向伸展。  相似文献

藏西措勤含铜双峰岩系的发现及其意义   总被引:5,自引:4,他引:5  
青藏高原中-西部措勤县城东南(约100km)的日阿铜矿区发育两种矿化类型,一种是与二长花岗斑岩岩株有关的夕卡岩型铜矿化,另一种是与辉绿玢岩脉有关的细脉浸染型(斑岩型)铜矿化。锆石SHRIMP U-Pb定年发现二者为一套双峰含铜岩系,酸性端元二长花岗斑岩年龄为90.1±1.5Ma,MSWD=1.24;基性端元辉绿玢岩年龄为87.2±1.6 Ma,MSWD= 0.84,形成于中—晚白垩世。岩石化学分析表明这些含铜双峰岩石富K_2O,属钾玄岩和高钾钙碱性岩。基性端元SiO_2在49.56%~54.9%之间;酸性端元SiO_2在67.21%~71.35%之间,戴里间隔为12.31%。微量元素地球化学显示岩石强烈亏损高场强元素Nb、Ta,富集大离子不相容元素Rb、K、Sr、Pb,具有岛弧岩浆作用特征。K的富集和Ba相对亏损说明岩石形成于碰撞后伸展阶段。在碰撞后伸展环境中,富集的大陆岩石圈地幔发生部分熔融形成了具OIB特征的镁铁质岩浆。这些基性岩浆底侵与地壳岩石相互作用形成了措勤含铜双峰岩系。这个岩系产于拉萨地块内部,形成于碰撞后伸展环境,与以前人们提出的新特提斯洋壳在白垩纪沿雅鲁藏布缝合线位置向拉萨地块之下低角度俯冲的构造模式不符。特别是联系到最近在阿索(Asa)盆地中发现的早白垩世弧后双峰火山岩,笔者认为措勤双峰含铜岩系应该与中特提斯洋壳沿班公-怒江缝合带位置向南向拉萨地体之下的俯冲有关,或者中特提斯洋壳可能有多条俯冲带,它们有的向南俯冲,有的向北俯冲。  相似文献
