130Te is one of the candidates for the search for neutrinoless double beta decay. It is currently planned to be used in two experiments: CUORE and SNO+. In the CUORE experiment TeO2 crystals cooled at cryogenic temperatures will be used. In the SNO+ experiment natTe will be deployed up to 0.3% loading in the liquid scintillator volume. A possible background for the signal searched for, are the high Q-value, long-lived isotopes, produced by cosmogenic neutron and proton spallation reaction on the target material. A total of 18 isotopes with Q-value larger than 2 MeV and T1/2 > 20 days have been identified as potential backgrounds. In addition low Q-value, high rate isotopes can be problematic due to pile-up effects, specially in liquid scintillator based detectors. Production rates have been calculated using the ACTIVIA program, the TENDL library, and the cosmogenic neutron and proton flux parametrization at sea level from Armstrong and Gehrels for both long and short lived isotopes. The obtained values for the cross sections are compared with the existing experimental data and calculations. Good agreement has been generally found. The results have been applied to the SNO+ experiment for one year of exposure at sea level. Two possible cases have been considered: a two years of cooling down period deep underground, or a first purification on surface and 6 months of cooling down deep underground. Deep underground activation at the SNOLAB location has been considered.  相似文献

Oxy-anionic species of V, As, Se, Mo, Sb, Te and W were measured in solution and suspension in samples obtained during several cruises in the Dutch Wadden Sea, the offshore region of the Southern Bight (North Sea) and in the estuaries of the Rhine and Scheldt. Dissolved concentrations at salinities above 34·5 × 10?3 ( = 34·5%. S) agreed generally well with published open ocean values. It is suggested that Se speciation differs from the open ocean.In the Wadden Sea, concentrations of V, Se, Mo and Sb were linearly related to salinity (10–35 × 10?3). The good agreement between measured and extrapolated values at a salinity of 0·5 × 10?3 suggests conservative behaviour in the Rhine estuary (with residence time of freshwater in the order of a few days).Dissolved concentration vs. salinity plots in the Scheldt estuary (residence time 2–3 months) showed pronounced minima and maxima. These occurred in the low or medium salinity range for V, As and Sb. Linear behaviour was observed for Se and Mo (in some cases, relatively large differences between cruises were detected). Deviations from linearity in the plots are interpreted in terms of thermodynamic equilibrium conditions involving species with different solubilities (V), local input from land (As, Se, Sb, Te) and removal from solution (As), probably through coprecipitation with Fe(OH)3.In the offshore samples, the contributions of particulate forms to the total element concentrations were small (<15%). At higher SPM concentrations (about 30 mg dm?3), this percentage remained small for Se, Mo and Sb (<15%); it was substantial for V and As (25–50%).  相似文献

碲在地球上是一种稀有分散元素,碲在地壳中的丰度很低,仅为1.0ng/g;但碲在富钴结壳、海底多金属结核、党海沉积物和陨石中的丰度异常高。为了查明深海沉积物中碲异常的原因,笔者对比分析了深海沉积物中磁性部分与全岩的碲含量和氦同位素组成。结果显示磁性部分的He含量和3He/4He比值及Te含量较全岩的值明显偏高;3He含量与Te含量同步变化;在3He-Te关系图上,二者具明显的正相关关系。本文首次提出深海沉积物中的碲异常与氦同位素异常一样可能是由宇宙尘注入引起的;海底多金属结核和富钴结壳中的碲异常可能也与宇尘有关。  相似文献

Abstract: Dashuigou, a unique tellurium‐dominated deposit over the world, is located in the western margin of the Yangtze cra‐ton in southwestern China. It is characterized by high‐grade tellurium accompanied by bismuth, gold, silver, and sulfur, and occurs in the area of less than one km2. The mineralization is divided into three stages, i.e. (1) tellurium‐bearing pyrrhotite–pyrite stage, (2) tetradymite stage, and (3) auriferous quartz veins stage. Tellurium mineralization coexisting with bismuth, silver, selenium, and gold predominantly develops in the stage 2, while the stage 1 is enriched only in sulfur and iron, and the stage 3 is very weakly mineralized with gold. The δ34S values of sulfides in the ore of the deposit vary in a narrow range of –3.1 ‐ +2.8 per mil with –3.1 ‐ +2.8 per mil for the stage 1 and –0.5 ‐ +2.1 for the stage 2, showing the isotopic characteristics of mantle derived sulfur. The δ13C values of vein dolomites vary from –5.3 to –7.2 per mil, with –5.3 ‐ –6.6 per mil for the stage 1 and –5.3 ‐ –7.2 per mil for the stage 2, which are significantly different from those of surrounding Triassic marble with δ13C values of –0.3 ‐ +2.8 per mil, and show characteristics of mantle derived carbon. The δ18O values of vein dolomites range from +10.2 to +13.1 per mil, which are higher than those of carbonatite, but lower than those of the marble. Their corresponding δ18Owater values are +0.6 ‐ +3.9 per mil, with +2.7 ‐ +3.8 per mil for the stage 1 and +0.6 ‐ +3.9 per mil for the stage 2. The data implies that these vein carbonates were formed by the mixing fluids of magmatic or mantle source with meteoric or formation water. The δ18O values of ore‐forming fluids responsible for the formation of vein quartz are estimated to be +3.2 to +6.8, the δD values of inclusion fluids of the quartz are measured to be –54 to –82 per mil. All those stable isotopic data suggest the involvement of the fluids from mantle and/or mantle‐derived magmas through fault system in the forming process of the Dashuigou tellurium deposit.  相似文献

本文研究了塞曼石墨炉原子吸收光谱法测定痕量Te的各种条件;采用甲基异丁基酮于4.8mol/L HCI中萃取Te(Ⅳ)的氯化物;以Rh为基体改进剂石墨炉原子吸收法测定有机相中Te。Te的特征质量为7.6×10~(-11)g(0.0044 A),相对标准偏差为6.51%(2ng Te,n=10)。方法用于地质试样中痕量碲的测定,灵敏、快速、准确。  相似文献

研究了世界首例碲矿床的地球化学特征,特别是微量分散元素碲富集成矿的地球化学条件。此矿床属Te-Bi-Au-Ag组合型中温热液矿床,矿体为碳酸盐脉和磁黄铁矿脉,矿石平均品位:Te5.98%、Bi8.02%、Au9.73×10-6、Ag37.45×10-6。成矿元素Te、Au、Ag主要来源于深部富含CO2、S的热流体。此热流体沿深大断裂上升至地壳浅部时,从围岩中浸取了大量的成矿元素Bi、Fe等。热液中的硫优先与铁结合生成磁黄铁矿析出,降低了热液中的硫浓度,从而促使分散元素碲与其沉淀剂Bi、Ag、Au相结合呈碲铋矿物、碲银矿和碲金矿等独立矿物形式沉淀,并富集成矿。  相似文献

Grains of native gold and tellurium were found in siliceous hydrothermally altered rocks in the high-temperature (170–540°C) fumarolic field of the La Fossa volcano (Island of Vulcano). In addition to Au and Te, Pb–Bi sulfides (cannizzarite) and Tl-bromide chloride were found as sublimates in the hottest fumarolic vents of the crater rim. The chemical composition of altered rocks associated with sublimate deposition indicate the presence of a significant concentration of Te (up to 75 ppm), while gold concentrations are very low (<9 ppb). Pb, Bi and Tl are strongly enriched in the hottest and less oxidized fumarolic vents, reaching concentrations of 2186, 146 and 282 ppm, respectively. These elements are transported (generally as chloride complexes) to the surface by volcanic gases, and several of these (Bi, Te, Tl) are originated from magma degassing. The silicic alteration is produced by the flow of fluids with pH<2. High acidity results from introduction of magmatic gases such as SO2, HCl and HF released by the shallow magmatic reservoir of La Fossa volcano. The silicic alteration found at Vulcano may represent an early stage of the `vuggy silica' facies which characterizes the high-sulfidation epithermal ore deposits, confirming the analogies existing between this type of ore deposit and magmatic-hydrothermal systems associated with island-arc volcanoes.  相似文献

松潘—甘孜造山带东缘大水沟逆冲—滑脱岩片的边界断裂为韧性剪切带,具逆冲—推覆性质,在中生代碰撞造山过程中逆冲叠置于扬子陆块之上。岩片经历了晚二叠世裂谷变质、晚三叠世末至早中侏罗世滑脱—收缩动热变质和晚侏罗世热隆接触变质3期变质变形作用,尤其是后二者影响深刻,奠定了现今热隆构造,并伴有碲矿床的形式。  相似文献
