Classifications of urban settlements have traditionally used total employment data in place of basic (export-oriented) employment data. While urban analysis agree upon the superiority of basic employment data for these classifications, usually only total employment data are available. This paper uses the Arizona Community Data Set, a unique survey-generated body of information that describes the major economic characteristics of numerous Southwestern communities and includes both basic and total employment data, to explore the extent to which misclassification results when using total employment data.  相似文献

在湖南省衡阳市酃湖乡4个村268家农户的访谈和问卷调查的基础上,通过主导因子分析法,总结了城乡边缘区农户就业空间行为的模式,即传统农业模式、城郊农业就业模式、省域就业模式、市域就业模式、本村置业模式和本市置业模式等6种就业空间行为模式,并从城市化、农业生产效率和城乡二元结构等3个方面总结了各种模式的形成机制。  相似文献   

不同城市化水平地区农户农地收入分析——基于浙江省农户的问卷调查

用SPSS13.0单因素方差分析和均值比较方法,对浙江省不同城市化地区的农户农地收入比重进行比较分析。认为城市化不同,农户农地收入比重不同,城市化程度高的地区农户农地利用经济收入比值的平均值低于城市化程度低的地区,但城市化程度高的地区农户农地收入比值标准差大于城市化低的地区,其中主要原因是城市化不同导致农户兼业时间不同。提出要创造条件促进资源集中型农户兼业化,使农户农地利用经济效率得到提高,缩小城乡收入差距。  相似文献

城市更新过程中流动人口面临居住与就业的不稳定。本文构建流动人口居住与就业协同变动的理论分析框架,使用北京大样本问卷调研数据,基于双层级双变量离散选择模型,分析城市更新背景下流动人口居住-就业变动协同性及其与背景环境的关系。结果发现：流动人口的居住/就业变动概率远高于本地人口,城市更新对流动人口居住和就业的不稳定性影响更大;流动人口的居住变动行为与就业变动行为是相互作用的协同过程,单项变动极有可能引发双变动的调整。居住在城中村数量较多的街道,流动人口发生居住变动的概率更大。青年流动人口的居住-就业变动协同性相比老一代更高,而且街道的居住不稳定性与青年流动人口的居住行为不稳定更相关。  相似文献   

City size and employment dynamics in China: Evidence from recruitment website data

This article explored China's urban employment dynamics with particular focus on the city size effect.Big data derived from the largest recruitment website were used to ex-amine the direct and indirect impacts of city size on employment demand by using mediating and moderating models.We also investigated the roles of the government and location fac-tors which have seldom been considered in literature.Results showed that the concentration degree of new jobs is higher than that of stock employment and population across cities,implying a path dependency mechanism of job creation and employment expansion.Mean-while,numerous job posts in inland central cities are probably a symptom of more even dis-tribution of employment in future China.Econometric models further verified the significant correlation between city size and job creation.Moreover,industrial diversity,fixed asset in-vestment,and spatial location have heterogeneous effects on employment demand in cities of different sizes and different levels of administration.These results can not only deepen our understanding of the crucial role of city size in urban employment growth but also demon-strate the future trend of labor and population geography of China.Policy implications are then proposed for job creation in cities of China and other developing countries.  相似文献   

“互联网+”对中国制造业就业的影响

基于中国工业企业数据库和阿里巴巴平台数据,从企业和行业两个层面考察“互联网+”对中国制造业就业增长的影响。结果显示,就企业层面而言,“互联网+”阻碍了制造业企业的就业增长。具体分企业规模来看,“互联网+”能够促进大型企业就业增长,但对小微企业起到一定抑制作用。就行业层面而言,“互联网+”程度加深对行业就业增长产生负面影响。从产业集聚来看,地方专业化、产业多样化和产业内竞争三类集聚动态外部性显著促进企业就业增长和行业就业增长,但地方专业化和产业内竞争会阻碍“互联网+”对行业就业带动作用的发挥。此外,“互联网+”和产业集聚的就业影响具有地区差异性。  相似文献   

云南省出口东盟的特征及其经济和就业贡献率分析

利用海关信息数据、统计年鉴数据、相关贸易指标以及投入产出方法分析云南省与东盟之间的出口贸易特征,出口带来的经济和就业贡献。结果表明：云南省与东盟之间的贸易依赖关系显著增强,但是与东盟联系强度的空间分布不均匀,同时云南对东盟的出口产品出现升级特征,由矿产品、化工产品为主的出口转向了以农产品、电子制造产品为主的出口。云南省出口东盟农林牧渔产品对本省经济和就业贡献率最大,对农林牧渔产品深加工,有助于云南省的经济增长和保障就业,同时也有助于促进产业发展向技术密集型产业转型。  相似文献   

省属师范院校地理科学专业本科生生源及就业特征研究——以信阳师范学院为例

基于信阳师范学院地理科学学院2001—2012级学生生源分布和就业数据统计,运用基尼系数和集中化指数识别分析了地理科学专业应届毕业生的生源地、就业地的时空格局。研究发现:研究对象的生源地和就业地呈"大分散、小集聚"且就业地分布较生源地分布分散的格局;来自不同地区的毕业生迁移距离具有标度分布的统计规律,可为高校的招生和就业工作提供指导和借鉴。  相似文献
