本文利用普林斯顿海洋模式对台湾海峡 M 2 分潮作了分辨率较高的三维数值模拟。在较准确地模拟了潮汐分布的基础上,研究了 M 2 分潮流椭圆分析、最大流同时线分布、潮流场的水平及垂直结构,最后还给出了 M 2 分潮余流、余水位的分布。结果表明, M 2 分潮最大流同时线在海峡中部同时形成密集区和一个圆流点;构成海峡潮波系统的两股潮波中,南支潮波的影响似超出了以往所认为的范围;最大潮流仅在近海底处急剧减小,最大流方向随深度增加右转,到近底层又向左转;潮汐余流和余水位均较弱,仅在澎湖水道、台湾浅滩附近余流较大。  相似文献

Abstract. In order to evaluate the effect of epibenthic suspension-feeding organisms on nepheloid-layer processes, a novel flow-through 'Benthic Ecosystem Tunnel' was used on sublittoral marine sediment substrate. Our test organism was the ascidian Microcosmus sulcatus . Particle and chlorophyll a reduction were recorded. The correlation of seasonal fluctuations of chlorophyll a concentrations with chlorophyll a reduction by M. sulcatus indicates the potential for Microcosmus to control local phytoplankton input to the subtidal nepheloid layer. However, the relatively low density of Microcosmus at the study site, the nature of the sediment surface and the susceptibility of ascidians to high turbidity ( i.e. , high sedimentation rates of total particular matter (TPM) causing frequent periods of siphon closure and inactivity) makes it unlikely that M. sulcatus is an important element controlling the composition of the nepheloid layer on a large scale.  相似文献

Ultraviolet (UV) spectra were measured to characterize the dissolved and particulate organic matter in a bog and to investigate the seasonal fluctuation of this organic matter. The optical density spectra in the UV region of dissolved organic matter (DOM) were proportional to –4, where is the wavelength of incident light. There was also small absorption on the –4 spectra. The optical density at a wavelength of 280 nm was proportional to the concentration of dissolved organic carbon (DOC). The spectra and the dependency of optical density on DOC did not vary throughout the investigation period. The UV spectra of acid extractions of particulate organic matter (POM) showed two absorption peaks at the wavelengths of 220 nm and 335 nm. These peaks are well represented by the sum of two Lorentz functions. The ratio of the absorbances,A 280/A 335, was dependent on the nitrogen/carbon ratio of POM and the chlorophyll fraction in particulate organic carbon (POC), and not dependent on POC itself. The dependency of POC absorption at 280 nm varied with this ratio which fluctuated seasonally.  相似文献

Environmental parameters and gross sedimentation rates (GSR) were monitored at a fixed site located in the Bay of Banyuls-sur-Mer (NW Mediterranean), between March 1997 and April 1998, together with the main biochemical characteristics of both sedimenting and sedimented particulate organic matter (POM). Three storms which occurred during this time period resulted in natural sediment resuspension. This is indicated by the corresponding increase in GSR and a decrease in the enzymatically hydrolysable amino acids/totally hydrolysable amino acids ratio (EHAA/THAA), within the sedimenting POM. Only the strongest storm resulted in (1) a transitory increase in fine-grained particles, (2) concomitant increases in organic carbon, carbohydrates, lipids and THAA, and (3) a decrease in the EHAA/THAA ratio in surficial sediments. For most of the assayed parameters, the values recorded after the December 1997 storm corresponded to extremes for the whole period under study. This emphasises the role of storms in controlling the characteristics of sedimented and sedimenting POM.Ten sediment types, with contrasting biochemical characteristics, were selected for experiments; these were based on the results of the monitoring survey and were used during adsorption and absorption experiments involving 14C tetrachlorobiphenyl (TCB). Adsorption rates differed significantly between the sediment types, but did not correlate with any of the assayed biochemical parameters. Absorption efficiency by the mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis also differed between the sediment types; it correlated positively with all the assayed biochemical parameters, except lipids. Comparison between the magnitudes of the increase in GSR, together with the decrease in absorption efficiency during resuspension events, suggests that resuspension tends to enhance the transfer of organic pollutants in the benthic food chain.  相似文献

The solvent-extractable organic compounds of atmospheric PM10 samples, collected over two years beginning in 2003 at urban and suburban sites of Beijing, were characterized using gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS). The elemental carbon (EC) contents were determined and ranged from 4.3 to 42 μg m− 3. Organic compounds in total extracts were identified and included unresolved complex mixture (UCM) and series of n-alkanes, n-alkanols, n-alkanoic acids, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs); saccharides, alkanedioic acids, steroids, and other biomarkers and source tracers. The seasonal variations of their relative abundances are discussed. The abundance order for the major molecular classes in the particulate organic matter (POM) was the following: UCM > saccharides > n-alkanoic acids >n-alkanes > n-alkanols > PAHs > hydroxy-PAHs > other biomarker tracers. Based on the genetic significance of the molecular tracers, the dominant sources of POM are proposed for the two sampling sites. The emissions from fossil fuel use (both coal and petroleum products), biomass combustion, other pyrolysis sources, higher plant wax, and secondary products contribute > 98.0% of the POM mass. The fossil fuel use (average = 65% of POM) is the largest contributor and derives mainly from vehicular traffic.  相似文献

采用POMgcs(Princeton Ocean Model with generalized coordinate system)和MITgcm(MIT General Circulation Model)两个海洋数值模式,研究了M-Y2.0、基于固壁近似假定的M-Y2.5、基于波浪破碎作用的M-Y2.5和KPP 4种垂向混合参数化方案对模拟黄海夏季上层温度结构的影响。结果表明,M-Y2.0和基于固壁近似假定的M-Y2.5方案低估了黄海上层的湍动能,模拟的黄海夏季温度上混合层的效果与实测相比均偏浅,不能够很好地重构黄海夏季温度的垂直结构。而基于波浪破碎作用的M-Y2.5和KPP方案均可以增加海洋上层湍动能的输入量,模拟的黄海夏季温度上混合层的效果与实测较为一致。故推测黄海夏季的上层结构是受波浪混合和流场剪切等物理机制共同调节的,若通过合理的垂向混合参数化方案将这些物理机制的作用加以体现,将会较真实地模拟和重构出黄海夏季海温上层结构。  相似文献

During the 29th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition, spatial variations in nitrogen isotopic composition of particulate nitrogen (δ15NPN) and their controlling factors were examined in detail with regard to nitrate drawdown by phytoplankton and particulate nitrogen (PN) remineralization in the Prydz Bay and its adjacent areas. To better constrain the nitrogen transformations, the physical and chemical parameters, including temperature, salinity, nutrients, PN and δ15NPN in seawater column were measured from surface to bottom. In addition, the nitrogen isotopic fractionation factor of nitrate assimilation by phytoplankton in the mixed layer, and the nitrogen isotopic fractionation factor of PN remineralization below the mixed layer were estimated using Rayleigh model and Steady State model, respectively. Our results showed that suspended particles had its lowest δ15NPN in the surface layer, which was due to the preferential assimilation of 14N in nitrate by phytoplankton. The δ15NPN in the mixed layer of the Prydz Bay and its adjacent areas decreased from the inner shelf to the outer basin, ascribing to the effect of isotope fractionation during phytoplankton assimilation. In mixed layer, the spatial distribution of δ15NPN associated with particulate organic matter (POM) production can be well interpreted according to Rayleigh model and Steady State model. The nitrogen isotope fractionation factor during phytoplankton assimilating nitrate was estimated as 10.0‰ by Steady State model, which was more reasonable than that calculated by Rayleigh model. These results validate the previous reports of fractionation factor during nitrate assimilation by phytoplankton. Increasing δ15NPN with depth below the euphotic zone correlated with the decreasing PN contents, and it was attributed to preferential remineralization of 14N in PN by bacteria. In subsurface and deep layer, the δ15NPN distributions also conformed to Rayleigh model and Steady State model during PN remineralization, with a fractionation factor of about 3.6‰ and 3.2‰, respectively. It is the first time to estimate the fractionation factor during POM production and remineralization in the Prydz Bay and its adjacent areas. Such fractionation may provide a useful tool for the follow-up study of the nitrogen dynamics in the Southern Ocean.  相似文献

通航水深是船舶在某时段沿着一定航线通过特定区域的最浅水深,对船舶的安全航行具有重要意义。海图测绘时将水深归算至深度基准面,由验潮资料求得,而潮汐值是通过临近区域发布的潮汐表来进行推算,由此获得的通航水深精度不 高,且不同港区之间采用深度基准不统一,所以无法为船舶提供精确、连续的通航水深。本文提出了一种基于高精度 GNSS的通航水深测量方法,直接测量海底高程,通过精密数值模型模拟海面高程,由此获得通航水深,并提出了实时通航水深的应用模式。为了建立与陆地地形相衔接的海底地形模型,以 CGCS2000 参考椭球面为垂直参考基准面,深度基准面采用 POM(Princeton Ocean Model) 模式进行潮波数值模拟的方法构建。实验结果显示:数值模型精度较高,构建的深度基准面误差在5 cm 以内。本文提出的方法改变了传统的通航水深测量及服务模式,提供高效率、高精度通航水深、海图水深数据,可为船舶用户提供实时动态水深服务。  相似文献

由于坐标变换的关系,σ坐标海洋模式在处理陡峭地形时会产生较大的水平压力梯度误差.为减少水平压力梯度误差,前人提出了一系列改进的方法,这些方法可分为减去平均密度法、平滑地形法、网格变换法和水平压力梯度计算方程变换法4类.水平压力梯度计算方程变换法又可分为密度雅克比法、高阶精度法、有限体积法和转换到z坐标下计算水平压力梯度法.利用POM模式模拟理想海山来比较标准密度雅克比法、线性插值到z坐标法、四阶精度插值法、三次方多项式拟合法和权重密度雅克比法在计算水平压力梯度中出现的误差.模式初始时垂向分成,水平均匀,外模时间步长为12 s,内模时间步长为360 s,计算时间为360 d.从最大流速误差的结果可以看出,标准密度雅克比法得到的最大流速误差为0.45 m/s左右;线性插值到z坐标法得到的最大流速误差达到0.7 m/s;四阶精度方法计算得到的最大流速误差为0.3 m/s;权重密度雅克比方法和三次方多项式拟合法计算得到的最大流速误差相差不大,都只有0.2 m/s左右.标准密度雅克比法计算得到的单位质量平均动能最大,为9×10-4 m2/s2;四阶精度方法和线性插值到z坐标方法计算得到的单位质量平均动能差不多,为3×10-4 m2/s2;三次方多项式拟合法计算得到的单位质量平均动能为1.9×10-4 m2/s2;权重密度雅克比方法计算得到的单位质量平均动能最小,仅为1×10-4 m2/s2.标准密度雅克比法的计算耗时最短,为294 min;与其相比,三次方多项式拟合法的计算耗时增加了5.9%;权重密度雅克比法的计算耗时增加了8.8%;四阶精度插值法的计算耗时增加了23.6%.线性插值到z坐标法的计算耗时最长,需要384.5 min,相对于标准密度雅克比法的计算耗时增加了30.6%.因此,综合最大流速误差、平均动能和计算耗时的结果可知,线性插值到z坐标法的计算结果相对较差,采用权重密度雅克比法能较好地降低水平压力梯度误差.  相似文献
