Comparison study data on the hydrochemical parameters, bacterio- and phytoplankton, and reduction–oxidation characteristics of two ponds in Krasnoyarsk are presented. These water bodies are of interest due to the fact that the ecosystems of these natural model objects respond to eutrophication in different ways. It is assumed that the reason for this difference is in the hydrophysical characteristics depending on the morphology of the basins of the water bodies rather than in the hydrochemical characteristics.  相似文献

New data are presented on the geochemistry of thermal waters in the Koshelev volcanic massif in southern Kamchatka. We discuss the conditions for the generation of thermal waters, possible variants of thermal and deep-seated material supply for the Koshelev hydrothermal system, and propose a conceptual model for the system.  相似文献

This paper reports a detailed geochemical study of thermal occurrences as observed in the edifice and on the flanks of Mendeleev Volcano, Kunashir Island in August and September 2015. We showed that three main types of thermal water are discharged there (neutral chloride sodium, acid chloride sulfate, and acid sulfate types); these waters exhibit a zonality that is typical of volcano-hydrothermal island arc systems. Spontaneous and solfataric gases have relatively low 3He/4He ratios, ranging between 5.4Ra and 5.6Ra, and δ13C-CO2 between –4.8‰ and –3.1‰, and contain a light isotope of carbon in methane (δ13C ≈ –40‰). Gas and isotope geothermometers yield relatively low temperatures around 200°C. The isotope compositions in all types of water are similar to that of local meteoric water. The distribution of microcomponents varies among different types. The isotope composition of dissolved Sr varies considerably, from 0.7034 as observed in Kunashir rocks on an average to 0.7052 in coastal springs, which may have resulted from admixtures of seawater. The total hydrothermal transport rates of magmatic Cl and SO4, as observed for Mendeleev Volcano, are 7.8 t/d and 11.6 t/d, respectively. The natural outward transport of heat by the volcano’s hydrothermal system is estimated as 21 MW.  相似文献

For the first time in the Middle Ob Basin, new data of importance for evaluating the quality of swamp and river water were obtained, characterizing the microcomponent composition of extractive organic compounds. More than 150 compounds of natural genesis were identified. The water of oligotrophic and mesotrophic bogs shows widest diversity and maximal, almost equal masses of extractable organic substances, averaging 13357 ng/L. In the water of eutrophic bogs and taiga rivers, this characteristic is five times lower; and that in lakes is lower by more than an order of magnitude. The amount of extractive trace components is closely correlated with the concentration of water-soluble carbon of humic nature. It was established that the natural water of taiga zone identical in terms of the fulvate type differs in the composition of organic trace components and can be grouped into four clusters: (a) water of oligotrophic bogs, (b) water of mesotrophic bogs, (c) river water, and (d) water of eutrophic bogs and bog lakes.  相似文献

Based on geochemical studies we have updated our knowledge of the generation conditions and discharge of thermal waters on Shiashkotan Island. The thermal springs, which are abundant on the island, are surface expressions of the North Shiashkotan and Kuntomintar hydrothermal systems. The North Shiashkotan hydrothermal system shows the classical hydrochemical zonality. The discharge of the Kuntomintar hydrothermal system is confined within two thermal fields that are situated in the central and northeastern craters of the eponymous volcano. The high temperature of the gases that are issuing from Kuntomintar Volcano to the ground surface and the higher predictive ratios S/Cl, S/C, and CO2/H2 in its composition provide evidence of a possible renewal of its fumarole activity.  相似文献

Biostratigraphy of the Berriasian Stage in the Crimean Mountains is specified and substantiated. Fragments of all the standard stage zones (jacobi, occitanica, and boissieri) are distinguished based on the found index species, and position of the Jurassic-Cretaceous boundary is targeted. According to verified distribution of ammonites, the jacobi Zone is divided into the jacobi and grandis subzones crowned by the Malbosiceras chaperi Beds. The Tirnovella occitanica-Retowskiceras retowskyi Beds and overlying Dalmasiceras tauricum Subzone are recognized in deposits of the occitanica Zone. The upward succession of biostratigraphic units established in the boissieri Zone includes the Euthymiceras-Neocosmoceras Beds, Riasanites crassicostatus Subzone, Symphythyris arguinensis and Jabronella sf. paquieri-Berriasella callisto Beds. The last biostratigraphic unit is suggested in this work instead the former Zeillerina baksanensis Beds. Except for the jacobi Zone, the substantiated ammonoid zonation is practically identical to the Berriasian biostratigraphic scale of the northern Caucasus, although the Berriasian-Valanginian boundary has not been defined in the Crimean Mountains based on ammonites. Several marker levels of bivalve mollusks and four biostratigraphic subdivisions of brachiopod scale are distinguishable here. As for the latter, these are (from the base upward) the Tonasirhynchia janini, Belbekella airgulensis-Sellithyris uniplicata, Symphythyris arguinensis, and Zeillerina baksanensis beds.  相似文献
