The results of studies of the hydrobiological regime of three sapropel lakes in Novosibirsk region in 2012 are presented. The biological production of the examined lakes, the composition and biomass of dominating species–producers of organic matter (phyto- and zooplankton, macrophytes) is determined, and the sedimentation rate of plankton and phytodetritus is estimated. The obtained results provide improved estimates of the contribution of aquatic organisms of different trophic levels to the processes of sedimentation and formation of sapropel in different types of lakes.  相似文献

A rationale is given to the current importance of studying the consequences of the longterm pollutants transfer from industrial centers of East Kazakhstan. Available data on the pollution of the environmental components by elements of polymetallic ores are presented. An additional study was made of the characteristics of the distribution of 50 chemical elements in the snow cover and in the leaves of black poplar on the territory of Altai neighboring the East Kazakhstan region. A weak acid character of atmospheric precipitation, caused by increased sulfur content, is revealed. Annual flows of sulfur and nitrogen are estimated for the territory of the region. Distribution trends for chemical composition parameters of snowmelt and dust on the territory of Altai are determined. Two main groups of chemical elements in the natural environments studied are identified, namely the rock group represented by rock-forming elements, and the ore group dominated by polymetallic ores. It is found that the territory of the region polluted by these elements looks like a tongue-shaped halo with the area of 30 thou km2 extended along the northeastern direction over more than 400 km, with an average width of 100–120 km. Within the halo there is an increase in content of all the elements under study when approaching the territory of the East Kazakhstan region. It was also found that the chemical composition of snow dust on the territory of Altai is similar to the composition in the emissions from Kazzinc Metallurgical Complex in Ust’-Kamenogorsk which is supposedly one of the main sources of pollutants transferred to Altai.  相似文献

The regional climate changes in the arid regions in the south of West Siberia for the period of 1936–2010 are estimated by means of the statistical analysis of the series of climatic parameters and complex hydrothermal indices. Revealed is the close correlation between the above characteristics. The periodicity of variations of some climatic parameters and corresponding indices amounting to 8–12 years on average is revealed using the Welch’s method of spectral analysis.  相似文献

Sapropels of lake systems in Novosibirsk oblast were studied to develop a scientific basis for their rational use. Sapropels from lakes in Novosibirsk oblast have been classified based on the ash content, chemical composition, and genesis. Organic–mineral and mineral–organic calcium and mixed sapropels of macrophyte and macrophyte–plankton genesis have been shown to be predominant by far among sapropel deposits in lakes in Novosibirsk oblast.  相似文献

We report the results from investigating the soils, bottom sediments and surface waters of the Vasyugan river valley for the tract from the mouth to the settlement of Katyl’ga (465 km). Specific activity levels have been ascertained for radionuclides of uranium-238, thorium-232, potassium-40 and caesium-137 in soils and bottom sediments. Silt and sandy silt sediments have a high accumulating capacity with respect to radionuclides. Petroleum products, total iron and aluminum are the main pollutants of the Vasyugan river ad its tributaries.  相似文献
