在数值预报中应用卫星反演资料的质量控制研究   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:2  
资料变分同化作为提高数值预报准确率的有效手段之一,受到了越来越多的关注。如何将分辨率较高的卫星资料应用到数值预报中,弥补常规观测网时空分辨率的不足,成为数值天气预报的重要课题。以1996年6月28-29日发生在江淮流域的暴雨过程为例,依据其中尺度场和能量场特征,分别以低云量、急流、湿静力能为标准设计了三套质量控制方案。将质量控制后的反演湿度场变分同化并应用到中尺度MM5模式中,结果表明:经质量控制后,可以明显地改善降水区域及降水量的预报;对降水预报,特别是强降水天气过程的预报,该质量控制方案具有普遍意义。  相似文献

Dammam City is one of the gorgeous coastal areas in the Arabian Gulf of Saudi Arabia.The present study aimed to ex-amine one of the copepod species infecting the rosy goatfish that represents a highly consumed fish species by the local population in the Arabian Gulf.The copepod species isolated from the infected fish specimens belong to the family Taeniacanthidae and was iden-tified as Irodes parupenei Ho and Lin(2007),primarily based on its morphological,morphometric,and ultrastructural characteris-tics,especially the structures of the dorsal cephalic area,segmentation of the first antenna,the absence of the maxilliped claw in the fe-male specimens,and the setation and spinulation of the legs 2-4 for the adult females are of great significance in the taxonomic iden-tification.The 18S rRNA gene sequence was analyzed to ensure the precise identity and exact taxonomic status of the copepod species.The result showed that this copepod species belong to Taenicanthidae and closely related to Irodes sauridi(gb|JF781550.1)in the same taxon.More details on the specificity of the goatfish for Irodes species and identifying these parasitic taxa using molecular analysis are given in the present study.  相似文献

Distinctive landform of juxtaposition of relatively straight exposures of slope and Quaternary deposits against older rock units in addition to the omission of younger ones are recognized in the Zagros low-folded zone of Mosul area. This phenomenon is attributed to the kinetics and the geometry of basin inversion. Positively inverted faults and their associated folds developed up-growing structures with reverse fault scarps. Those growing structures are passively uplifted above lower blind thrust fault. The up-moving faults were subjected to erosion. The interaction between the rates of erosion and uplift controls the formation of slope and other Quaternary deposits and their distribution. Fast uplift of the reverse faults resulted into formation of cliffs representing the fault scarps and the formation of slope deposits directly next to them. The linear traces of the reverse faults control the straight linear map view distribution of the associated slope deposits. Slower rates of uplift give considerable time to erosion and in consequence the fault scarps are deeply eroded and disappear. This process also resulted into deposition of the other types of Quaternary deposits but still the linear contact between the geological rock units and the Quaternary deposits is existing and easily noticed. The analysis of these features and their interpretation has resulted in a new interpretation of the geological maps of Mosul area and the recognition of many reverse faults that bound the exposed structures. This fault system is used to restore the configuration of the original Late Cretaceous extensional basin.  相似文献

The living Tridacna maxima shell provides an example of a good substrate for many colonizing marine organisms (sclerobionts). Many factors affect the colonization choices of these organisms, such as morphology and size of the host shell, water depth (related to light penetration), suspended particulate load, and turbidity, among others. In addition to these factors, contamination plays an important role in the colonization choice along the coast of the Red Sea in Egypt. In the present study, 25 specimens of T. maxima shells of different sizes were collected at different depths from eight sites along the Egyptian Red Sea coast. There are two types of contamination at these sites. The first type results from anthropogenic activities, such as tourism, fishing, landfilling, shipping, renewal of ship operations, shipyards, dredging, and petroleum production; this type is represented by the El-Esh area, Hurghada Harbor, Safaga Harbor, and Quseir Harbor. The second type results from the natural inputs from wadis and is represented by the El-Esh area, Quseir Harbour, and Wadi El-Gemal, while the Abu Galawa Lagoon, the Abu Ghusun, and the Hamata Reefs represent uncontaminated areas (control areas). The present study documents the colonization phenomena on T. maxima shells at all of the study sites. These phenomena differed from one another in the abundance and diversity of sclerobionts, and unexpectedly, the contaminated areas recorded the highest abundance and diversity of colonizing organisms.  相似文献

Springs located at the historical sites of Wadi Araba (Eastern Desert of Egypt) and emerging from the escarpments of the Northern and Southern Galala Plateaus were investigated. A combination of methods, including hydrochemistry, stable and radioisotope composition, and structural analyses based on satellite data, provided information about the structure of the subsurface and the derived groundwater flow paths. Satellite images reveal karst features within the northern plateau, e.g. conical landforms. Karstic caves were documented along both escarpments. Chemical analysis of floodwater from Wadi Araba indicates higher concentrations of terrestrial salts compared to floodwaters from central and southern parts of the desert. δ18O and δ2H signatures in spring waters resemble those of floodwater and fall on the global meteoric water line, confirming their fast infiltration with minor influence of evaporation. The aquifer feeding the springs of the Northern Galala Plateau has low retention and the springs dry out quickly, even after heavy rainfall. Contrastingly, 3H activities in springs emerging from the Southern Galala Plateau refer to much slower subsurface passage. With respect to 3H content (3.8 TU) in recent flood waters, the spring water at Southern Galala Plateau contains about 40% recently recharged groundwater. However, its largest spring—the St. Antony spring—discharges water with a radiocarbon age of about 15,000 years. In combination with this spring’s constant and high discharge over a period of several months, that age estimate suggests a large reservoir with moderate to high retention.
