The paper discusses the data derived from a numerical experiment on the ocean’s response (between the equator and 64°N) to the seasonal variability of the atmospheric forcing (wind and heat flux through the ocean surface). A multilayer (7 layers) non-linear model is used incorporating the upper mixed layer interacting with the internal layers in the regimes of entraining and subduction. The restructuring of the layer composition, the currents and temperature variability, as well as the alternation of the entrainment and subduction regimes are analysed. Translated by Vladimir A. In this paper, we consider an ontogenic model for the formation of morphological types of growth and dissolution of cubic diamonds of variety II by Yu.L. Orlov from placers of the Anabar diamondiferous region. The following ontogenic domains of crystals and corresponding evolutionary stages of growth accompanying a general decrease in supersaturation in the crystallization medium were distinguished: microblock mosaic cuboids with defects produced by the mechanism of rotational plastic deformation–cuboids with linear translation deformations–cuboids and antiskeletal growth forms of cuboids composed of octahedral growth layers–pseudocubic growth forms of a flat-faced octahedron. The crystal morphological evolution of cuboids during the bulk dissolution of individuals in fluid-bearing melt transporting them to the surface was traced. The investigation of transitional forms of cuboid diamond dissolution showed that the final form of diamond dissolution is a rounded tetrahexahedroid independent of the combination of cuboid faces with subordinate faces of octahedron, rhombododecahedron, and tetrahexahedron observed on resorbed crystals of cubic habit. It was found that the final stages of cuboid dissolution produced disk-shaped microrelief features on the diamond surface in the form of randomly distributed ideal rounded etch pits resulting from interaction with microscopic cavitation gas bubbles released during the decompression of ascending kimberlite melt.  相似文献

The results of morphological examination and the character of the structural orientation and estimation of residual pressure calculated from spectra of combination dispersion in olivine inclusions within diamonds of the Ebelyakh placer and kimberlite pipes of the Yakutian Diamondiferous Province are presented. The data analysis aimed at revealing indications of similarity and/or differences between diamonds from the pipes and the placer. Differences in the structural orientation and spectra of combination dispersion of the inclusions of olivine in dodecahedroids of placers of the northeastern part of the Siberian Platform support the assumption of their non-kimberlite nature.  相似文献

The results of a numerical experiment on the formation of the large-scale circulation and the main thermocline in the temperate latitudes of an ocean at steady external factors are discussed. A multilayer model [1] is used which involves the upper mixed layer (UML). The boundaries of the areas where the internal layers reach the UML are calculated. The zones where seawater is entrapped from the thermocline to the UML are revealed, as well as the subduction zones where seawater is brought from the UML to the internal layers and moves there, ventilating the thermocline.Translated by Mikhail M.
