We considered the problem dealing with the far field of internal gravity waves generated by the source oscillating in the
vertical. It is shown that, at a fixed observation point, we first record the arrival of the main wave front of a separate
mode followed by the arrival of two fronts of an additional field of this wave mode, which is caused by the oscillations of

We studied the surface perturbations of a two-layer ideal fluid induced by a flow past a submerged obstacle (simulated by
a point dipole) in the vicinity of the density-jump layer. It is shown that the formation of two different types of surface
waves is possible behind the flowed past obstacle in the real conditions of the open sea. The comparison of the amplitudes
of the surface perturbations induced by the obstacle located above and below the density jump revealed their significant differences,
which seems to be important for the use of this effect in practical problems. 相似文献

The distribution of the colour index is considered in the region bounded by 8–11°N and 13°30–18°30W based on the results of measurements made on board vessels of the Marine Hydrophysical Institute of the Ukrainian SSR Academy of Sciences (MHI) in 1977–1985. Mean values and statistical characteristics are calculated for the colour index variability over one-degree squares. A map of its multi-yearly average distribution is plotted.Translated by M. M. The increased demand for indium has made it necessary to revise prospects of In-bearing tin ore deposits in the Russian Far East on the basis of geological data and results of recent analytical methods (X-ray fluorescence with synchrotron radiation, atomic absorption, and ICP-MS). The average In contents in ores of the Tigrinoe and Pravourmiiskoe deposits vary from 55 to 70 ppm, which allows tin ore deposits with Sn?sulfide mineralization to be considered as quite promising with respect to In production from ores of Russian deposits. By their estimated In reserves, the Tigrinoe and Pravourmiiskoe deposits may be attributed to large ore objects. 相似文献
