A SURVEY OF THE ENERGY SOURCES IN THE CAIDAMU VORTEX DEVELOPMENT |

| Abstract: | In this study, calculation is made for the physical quantity fields of the devel-oping and eastward moving Caidamu vortex and the Caidamu vortex generating and dis-sipating in situ, and such terms as disturbance kinetic energy, disturbance available po-tential energy,total kinetic energy and total available potential energy in the balance e-quation within the limited areas around the vortexes. And the energy budget at eachstage of the developing and eastward moving Caidamu vortex is analysed. Causes of theCaidamu vortex genesis and development are thus revealed. |
