南沙群岛海域第四纪颗石藻类初步研究

摘    要:通过对南沙海域表层沉积及活塞钻孔中颗石藻化石相对丰度和属种分异度的分析,得出颗石藻的组合面貌,并讨论了影响颗石藻组合的环境因素及晚更新世以来的气候变化。

Abstract:The species diversity indices and the relative abundance of the nannoplankton assemblage from Nansha Islands Area are mainly discussed by means of quantitative analysis in this paper. A total of thirty-nine species have been distinguished from forty-two surface sedimentary samples. The preliminary results indicated that the two species, Gephyrocapsa oceanica and Emiliania huxleyi are dominant in the assemblage, and that the composition consisting the assemblage contained some environmentally significant species, such as Umbellosphaera irregularis, which is recognized as a tropical marker and Umbilicosphaera sibogea, Syracosphaera pulchra, Rhabdosphaera clavigera and Neosphaera coccolithmnorpha which common occur in warm-water environments. The nannoplankton assemblage at present, however, apparently responded to the tropical marginal sea environments, and is briefly controlled by several factors, which are seawater depth, temperature, salinity, oceanic current, turbidity current, as well as the crop of living coccolithophores and zooplankton.In addition, the climatic changes since about 279 000 years B. P. are demonstrated depending on the data correlated between the diversity and percentage abundance of nannoplankton assemblage and oxygen isotopic analysis for core NS87-11. Eight oxygen isotopic stages were tentatively determined by the correlation with core V28-238 from the Solomon Plateau of Equatorial Western Pacific.
