基于自适应四叉树的地形简化

摘    要:针对当前地形三维可视化技术的研究现状,在吸取计算机图形学、虚拟现实、地理信息学、现代数学的先进理论和技术成果的基础上,根据地形表面平坦程度不同对原始地形模型预简化,对表面较平坦的区域不再分层,将原始地形模型的完全四叉树结构改变成自适应四叉树结构,从而生成自适应四叉树结构的地形模型,并采用VC^++结合OpenGL加以实现。

Abstract:The paper base on the present situation of three-dimension terrain visualization technology research, on absorbing the advanced theories and the technique result about computer graphics, virtual reality, geographical information, modern mathematic etc. This study is about complicated terrain model simplification, simplified the original geography model in advance according to flatness degree of the topography. For more flat district, surface is no longer layering. Changed the original geography models complete quadtree structure into adaptive quadtree structure. Thus the geography model of the adaptive quadtree structure was built. While, VC++ combine OpenGL were used to achieve them.
