临夏盆地在东亚新生代地层、古气候、古生物研究方面占有举足轻重的地位.本文对盆地东部的郭泥沟剖面进行了详细的岩石磁学和磁组构研究,以揭示从早中新世到早上新世临夏盆地的沉积演化过程.郭泥沟剖面沉积物中的磁性矿物有磁铁矿、磁赤铁矿、赤铁矿和针铁矿,但剩磁载体以磁铁矿和赤铁矿为主.从上庄组和东乡组的褐红色粉砂质粘土到柳树组和何王家组的褐黄色粘土,赤铁矿含量呈现降低的趋势,与沉积物颜色变化一致.郭泥沟剖面沉积物磁组构类型为正常沉积磁组构.结合岩石磁学结果和磁组构参数特征可揭示临夏盆地早中新世-早上新世沉积的演化过程:早中新世上庄组为稳定湖相沉积,古水流方向为NNW,与南北向的大夏河方向一致;中中新世气候发生较明显的干湿波动,形成了东乡组的褐红色湖相粉砂质粘土夹粉砂、砂和青灰色泥灰质粘土条带,古水流方向主要为NNW,沉积过程主要受大夏河控制;中中新世晚期,受青藏高原构造运动影响,沉积相由湖相细粒沉积物转变为虎家梁组河流相砂砾层;同时,盆地的水动力条件也发生改变,晚中新世柳树组湖相沉积过程同时受南北向大夏河和东西向洮河控制,两个方向近垂直的河流共同作用导致柳树组内沉积各向异性度较低,面理和线理均不发育,磁化率最大轴偏角分布比较分散,磁组构确定的古流向为东西向和南北向;早上新世期间,由于受青藏高原隆升影响,沉积了何王家组下部的河流相砂砾层;受构造抬升影响,大夏河重新主导何王家组上部洪泛平原相沉积过程,水动力条件较为单一稳定,古流向主要为N向,与大夏河流向一致.  相似文献

一般认为磁组构能有效地反映岩石所经历的应变特征.为了研究不同类型的磁组构和不同期次应变之间的关系,对来自华南地块两个地区的早三叠世灰岩样品进行了岩石磁学、磁组构以及应变特征的对比分析.来自湖北通山县的样品经历了三期构造变形,这为解析磁组构和多期次应变提供了理想的机会.岩石磁学结果显示携磁矿物主要为磁铁矿.磁化率各向异性(AMS)和非磁滞剩磁各向异性(AAR)结果显示其最小轴与层面垂直,最大轴和中间轴分布于层面内,反映了沉积和压实作用产生的应变,而后期构造应变在磁组构中没有体现.来自广东连县的样品发育有渗透性压溶缝面理和方解石脉,说明经历了构造应变.AMS结果没有显示占优势的组构方向.AAR结果显示三轴组构,其最大轴分布于最大应力方位,与构造应变特征吻合,最初的压实组构被构造应变组构所代替.上述结果表明:(1)AAR可以很好地反映渗透性应变的特征,而AMS有时会失效;(2)应变的尺度要小于样品的尺度,磁组构才能有效地反映应变.  相似文献

岩石磁组构因能提供磁性矿物晶体形状、排列方式等赋存信息而被广泛应用于判别岩石剩磁是否受到了后期构造应力的显著影响;但常规岩石磁化率各向异性(AMS)是否能够准确限定岩石剩磁的稳定性,目前尚无深入探讨.本文以印支地块Nakhon Thai盆地中生代Nam Phong、Phu Kradung和Phra Wihan组三套碎屑岩样品及拉萨地块林周盆地设兴组红层样品为例,通过岩石磁化率组构和剩磁组构的对比分析发现,尽管Nam Phong组绝大多数样品和Phu Kradung组全部样品的AMS组构显示其具有铅笔状至强劈理过渡型构造变形组构特征,但高场等温剩磁各向异性(hf-AIR)显示其高矫顽力赤铁矿所携带的特征剩磁组构仍具有典型沉积组构特征,表明其以赤铁矿为主的载磁矿物未遭受后期构造应力的显著影响,仍然能够准确记录岩石形成时期的古地球磁场方向.另一方面发现有且仅有剩磁组构才是判别碎屑沉积岩特征剩磁是否遭受了后期构造应力影响的充分必要条件.也就是说,如果岩石剩磁组构(如以赤铁矿为主要载磁矿物的岩石hf-AIR组构)指示其原始沉积组构已被构造组构显著叠加或取代,则必然说明该岩石剩磁方向已受到构造应力...  相似文献

磁组构通常指磁化率各向异性,即AMS(Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility),是一种重要的岩石组构,是弱变形沉积岩地区灵敏的应变指示计.近年来,AMS在造山带及前陆地区的广泛应用为构造变形研究提供了极大的帮助,同时提升了该方法的理论认识.本文在研读最新相关文献与著作的基础上,结合笔者及研究团队在龙门山地区获得的磁组构研究成果,综述了磁组构在沉积岩地区构造变形研究中的应用进展,并基于现有的研究认识对关键问题进行讨论,提出以下几点认识:(1)磁性矿物分析是AMS研究的关键,应结合多种岩石磁学实验及光学与电子显微构造研究手段展开详细的磁性矿物学分析;(2)磁化率椭球与应变椭球的对应主轴在绝大多数情况下相互平行,但在不同期次、不同种类复杂的磁性矿物组成,或者多期次构造变形的影响下,AMS与应变的关系相对复杂,应比对高场和低温AMS及非磁滞剩磁各向异性(AARM)测试结果,获得不同矿物的优选定向特征,并对获得的组构进行分期;(3)AMS可以揭示造山带及其前陆地区的构造演化历史,并且是分析断层相关褶皱的有限应变特征和变形机制的重要方法,同时也是厘定断裂带变形性状和期次及运动学分析的有效手段;(4)磁组构形成于成岩作用早期或构造变形的最早阶段,能很好地记录褶皱和逆冲作用之前的平行层缩短变形,因此可以揭示同沉积阶段的古构造应力方向.后期足够强烈的构造变形能局部改造或彻底掩盖先存AMS记录,构造流体有关的同构造期结晶矿物或先存矿物的重结晶导致的再定向被认为是其根本原因;(5)斜交磁线理是一种特殊的磁组构类型,反映了区域构造叠加或多期构造变形作用或隐伏斜向逆冲等可能的构造过程,有必要结合多方面的地质证据对其成因作出合理解释.  相似文献

结合岩石磁学、磁化率各向异性度与区域构造分析了西秦岭温泉岩体的侵位机制及意义.温泉岩体的样品的平均磁化率km值总体很大,岩石磁学表明对于磁化率较低的样品,顺磁性矿物(如黑云母等)对磁化率的贡献较大,而少量铁磁性矿物(如磁铁矿等)可能作为剩磁载体.对于磁化率较高的样品,其主要载磁矿物为磁铁矿;花岗岩样品的校正磁化率各向异性度PJ总体小于1.2,显示了岩体为流动磁组构的特征,磁化率椭球体形态参数T总体大于0,扁率E总体大于1,以压扁椭球体为主;岩体的磁面理同磁线理相比更为发育,样品的磁面理普遍表现出围绕岩体边界分布的特点,且倾角较陡;而在岩体内部磁线理与磁面理分布相对散乱,定向性差,这一特征说明温泉岩体的磁组构主要由侵位时的侧向挤压作用形成的;虽然岩体的磁组构特征总体显示了N-NEE和SW向的挤压作用,但岩体侵位时由商丹缝合带闭合所产生的垂直于缝合带方向的挤压作用已相对较弱.本文认为,温泉岩体侵位时是一种弱挤压环境,或者是一种相对稳定的环境甚至可能是一种相对引张的背景,这与温泉岩体形成于后碰撞环境,秦岭造山带已演化至后碰撞拆沉作用发生的伸展阶段所反映的区域构造背景是一致的.  相似文献

在地层剖面中,洪泛沉积物与正常的河道沉积物的沉积学特征非常相似,仅靠沉积学特征很难将两者区分. 为了识别古洪灾事件,因而从环境磁学角度建立两种沉积物的识别标志是非常必要和有意义的. 本文通过对1998年长江黣洲湾溃口扇及其附近的长江现代河漫滩沉积物进行磁组构参数测量和对比分析,并结合长江下游河漫滩沉积物的磁组构参数特征,揭示出长江中游正常河流沉积物与河流溃口沉积物的磁组构参数特征具有明显的不同,并且它们与沉积时的沉积环境有着密切的关系. 因此,对长江中游地区沉积物磁组构参数的测试及磁化率各向异性量值椭球体形态的研究,是目前分辨洪泛沉积物和正常的河道沉积物的一个较有效的方法.  相似文献

石鼓尖岩体位于大别山核部天堂寨地区,为片麻理化石英二长岩.岩体磁组构分析显示,磁面理主体倾向SE,倾角较大,85%采样点的倾角介于40°~90°之间,与岩体的片麻理产状一致.岩体磁线理在东南部走向为NWW-SEE向,在岩体中部和北部,磁线理走向皆为NE-SW向.在岩体中部,磁线理向SW倾伏,北部磁线理向NE倾伏,磁线理倾角中等.磁化率各向异性度P值介于1.065~1.532之间;形态参数T介于0.005~0.694之间;弗林图解(F-L图解)显示K值均小于1,磁组构分析表明岩体是在SE-NW向挤压应力环境下侵位.石英C轴组构分析表明,岩体受到SE-NW向挤压应力,变形温度在400~500℃之间.显微构造显示岩石具有接近固态的变形组构特征,属同构造岩体变形组构.结合岩体磁组构、显微构造和石英C轴组构,指示石鼓尖岩体侵位冷凝成岩与区域NE向构造为同期,属同构造侵入岩体.石鼓尖岩体U-Pb定年结果表明,岩体锆石U-Pb年龄为(141±2.3)Ma,代表岩体侵位结晶年龄.综合分析认为,石鼓尖岩体侵位冷凝成岩时大别造山带仍然处于挤压环境,造山带由挤压向伸展转换的时间应该在141 Ma之后,岩体侵位时大别造山带的构造演化已受控于滨太平洋构造域.而邻近的天堂寨等巨大岩基则是伸展环境的产物.  相似文献

研究了拉脊山及邻区磁组构特征. 新生代沉积物为一套未变质和弱变形的泥岩和砂岩, 磁化率椭球体以扁平型为主, 磁线理Kmax倾伏北西或南东, 最小轴Kmin多与层面极点偏离, 在北东有一优选方位, 并与Kmax垂直, 反映了磁组构主要是构造成因; 研究区新、老地层中Kmin总体方位(北东至南西)代表了近期构造主压应力方向, 该认识得到典型构造点上的磁组构与构造对比研究证实. 在上第三系内发育北西至南东至近东西向的逆断层和褶皱, 它们是北东至南西向挤压产物. 拉脊山及邻区区域构造应力场为本区在第三纪后期到第四纪持续抬升提供了重要证据.  相似文献

塔里木盆地库车坳陷克拉苏河沿岸发育良好的新生界地层.我们对克拉苏河沿岸新生界剖面分A、B两段进行系统采样,获得定向岩芯样品1700余块. 岩石磁学研究表明,新生代沉积岩中磁性矿物以赤铁矿为主,含有少量磁铁矿;磁组构测试结果显示,两段剖面磁面理均较磁线理发育,最小磁化率主轴近于直立,显示原生沉积组构. A剖面磁化率主轴к1的偏角指示古流向. 库姆格列木群沉积时的古水流方向为NEE-SWW向,至苏维依组沉积时,流向变为NNE-SSW向. 河流古流向在苏维依组形成时发生急剧变化,说明南天山此时可能发生了明显的隆升,且以北西部隆升为主;B剖面为吉迪克组、康村组和库车组粗粒碎屑岩,磁组构显示к12构成的磁面理与层理面小角度相交,к3呈叠瓦状分布,可以用来指示古水流方向.从吉迪克组至库车组下段,古流向均为NNW-SSE,但逐渐偏东,暗示天山在此期间处于缓慢的隆升期或东西部处于同步隆升,且西部隆升速度快于东部.  相似文献

In a number of AMS studies, the presence and deciphering of composite magnetic fabrics is of major importance for a correct interpretation of the data. On the basis of several examples from intrusive rocks (diorites and dolerites) we show that the use of laboratory heatings can help to extract at least one component of the composite magnetic fabrics usually present. The procedure includes comparison of the fabrics measured after stepwise laboratory heating with the fabrics determined by tensor difference and by linear regression analysis. In the diorite samples, the measured AMS results from the superimposition of different component fabrics and does not correspond exactly to any of these fabrics. In these dykes, isolated magnetic fabric during thermal treatment corresponds to that of the main magnetic mineral (Ti-poor titanomaghemite) and reveals an unknown structure. In volcanic flow or doleritic dykes, a “parasitic” fabric related to late or post-magmatic evolution superimposed to the flow fabric can produce important scattering of the AMS principal directions. Decomposition of magnetic fabric during thermal treatment allows isolation of the flow fabric.  相似文献

Fabric ‘shape’, based on the relative values of three eigenvalues calculated from fabric data, has been used to differentiate sediment facies and infer deformation histories. The eigenvalues are based on samples drawn from parent populations, and as such are subject to statistical variance due to sampling effects. In this paper, the degree of statistical variance in fabric data for two types of subglacial till from Breidamerkurjøkull, Iceland, is investigated using ‘bootstrapping’ techniques, in which empirical ‘confidence regions’ are built up by repeated resampling of the original data. The experiments show that, for each till type, the observed between‐sample variability in the fabrics lies within the boundaries associated with random variations, indicating that the observed range of fabric shapes within each till type is likely to be entirely the product of sampling effects. Differences in fabric shape between till types are generally greater than that associated with random variations, indicating that their fabric shape characteristics, as measured by eigenvalues, are significantly different. Nevertheless, the results suggest that great care should be exercised when using a‐axis fabric data to differentiate sedimentary facies, or to infer subtle differences in physical processes or conditions. The magnetic fabric of rocks and sediments is most commonly characterized in terms of the anisotropy of low-field magnetic susceptibility (AMS). However, alternative methods based on remanent magnetization (measured in the absence of a magnetic field) rather than induced magnetization (measured in the applied field) have distinct advantages for certain geological applications. This is particularly true for; (1) adjunct studies in paleomagnetism, in order to assess the fidelity with which a natural remanence records the paleofield orientation; (2) studies of weakly magnetic or weakly deformed rocks, for which susceptibility anisotropy is very difficult to measure precisely; and (3) quantitative applications such as strain estimation. The fundamental differences between susceptibility and remanence (and their respective anisotropies) are due to several factors: (1) susceptibility arises from all of the minerals present in a sample, whereas remanence is carried exclusively by a relatively small number of ferromagnetic minerals; (2) ferromagnetic minerals are generally more anisotropic than para- and diamagnetic minerals; (3) for ferromagnetic minerals, remanence is inevitably more anisotropic than susceptibility; and (4) a number of common minerals, including single-domain magnetites, possess an inverse anisotropy of susceptibility, i.e., they tend to have minimum susceptibility parallel to the long axis of an individual particle; remanence is immune to this phenomenon. 近年来,利用黄土磁化率各向异性/磁组构(AMS)研究古风向变化被广泛应用.在对祁连山东北缘厚755 m的中路黄土剖面岩石磁学和磁组构研究的基础上,恢复了该区14 Ma以来古风向变化序列.磁组构指示的古风向表明,在14~078 Ma期间,本区的地面主导风向为NW-SE;从078 Ma开始,地面主导风向逐渐向NE-SW过渡;至05 Ma时,该区地面主导风稳定为NE-SW向.对青藏高原隆升的研究显示,在12~08 Ma期间青藏高原发生过称为“昆黄运动”的大规模隆起.结合我们对主导风向变化驱动因子的分析表明,祁连山东北缘近地面主导风向的第一次转变很可能是同时期青藏高原构造强烈隆升对大气环流影响产生的环境后果.  相似文献

Existing correlations between strain and anisotropy of low-field magnetic susceptibility (AMS) have been re-assessed using a single parameter to express both anisotropies. TheP parameter (Hrouda, 1982) shows potential as a powerful single expression of the intensity of strain and of AMS. Previous correlations are improved by use of this parameter. Cautious optimism is justified for correlations between strain and susceptibility in a certain strain window between a lower limit (excluding the incomplete overprint of predeformation anisotropy) and an upper limit (excluding the effects of saturation anisotropy). For successful correlations the influence of stress-controlled recrystallisation should be minimal and the mineralogical sources of susceptibility must predate deformation.  相似文献

This paper investigates the development of till fabric associated with glaciers overlying deformable beds. First, the till fabrics from both modern and ancient, soft bed and hard bed subglacial environments are investigated, and then soft bedded sites with specific strain histories are examined. The results indicate that lodgement tills had a strong fabric, whilst there is a wide range of much weaker fabric strengths associated with soft bed tills. It is suggested from a theoretical study of soft bed till deposition that longitudinal and vertical processes in the subglacial deforming layer are important in fabric development. Field sites were chosen to isolate these two factors, and fabrics investigated in areas of known relative shear strain, and known relative thickness of the deforming layer. The results indicate that: (1) for a fixed deforming layer, fabric strength does increase with increasing deformation (except at very high strains where the development of a transverse fabric can lead to a reduction in the overall fabric strain); and (2) lodgement tills and soft bed tills associated with a thin deforming layer have a high fabric strength, whilst soft bed tills associated with a thick deforming layer have a low fabric strength. Where the deforming layer is thin, clasts are oriented parallel with the glacier direction either by lodging against a hard bed or ploughing against a soft bed. However, where the deforming layer is thicker and shear strains are high, melt-out processes encourage a parallel fabric, but the increased shear strain and changes in the deforming layer thickness cause the clasts to develop both a parallel and transverse fabric. These processes combine to reduce the overall fabric strength. Till fabric studies are a further sedimentological technique to separate the depositional processes associated with a homogeneous till.  相似文献

地壳深部岩石普遍存在变形组构,花岗质岩石中的变形组构不仅影响岩石强度,而且对后期变形具有显著控制作用。近年来,先存组构对各向异性岩石的流变强度影响成为高温高压实验研究的热点之一。文中对前人给出的各向异性岩石(包括云母片岩-片麻岩、石英-钙长石均匀混合体与层状组构样品)半脆性-塑性流变实验数据进行了重新整理与分析,结合作者开展的不同组构条件下花岗片麻岩与糜棱岩流变实验结果,讨论了先存组构对各向异性岩石流变强度的影响。实验数据表明:1)各向异性岩石的面理与最大主应力方向的角度是影响强度的主要因素。在半脆性破裂域,样品压缩方向垂直于面理(PER)和平行于面理(PAR)的强度基本相同,在压缩方向与面理呈30°夹角时,岩石破裂强度最小;在塑性流变域,垂直于面理方向的强度显著高于平行于面理方向的强度,当面理与最大主应力方向的角度为45°时,岩石强度最小。2)后期变形对原有组构的继承与改造程度,决定了各向异性岩石强度高低。3)样品中矿物的含量、分布与粒度对各向异性岩石强度有显著影响。理论模型预测结果与云母片岩实验结果比较吻合,但其他类型各向异性岩石的流变比理论模型结果要复杂得多。因此,进一步开展具有先存组构的各向异性岩石的流变实验,并将实验变形与实际地质条件下更为复杂的岩石变形进行对比分析,是认识各向异性岩石流变和变形机制最有效的方法。  相似文献

猴石顶太古界重褶皱位于阜平太古宙穹状复合褶皱群中一个钩状褶皱的“钩子”部位。其中一层斜长角闪岩标志层的岩石磁性组构的分布情况为:1.在翼部的磁化率量值椭球是压扁形的,磁性叶理面的方向与变质层面及片麻理的方向基本一致,表现为向北西倾斜的倒转褶皱;2.在太古宙再次变形阶段所形成的转折端部位,磁性叶理面的走向变化较大,并出现拉长形的磁化率量值椭球,反映了经受过拉张作用的变形和多于一次的不同方向应力的作用;3.西翼的磁性线理值与磁性叶理值以及磁化率各向异性度都大,反映它经受过较强的剪切应力与压应力的作用;4.磁性线理主要倾向北半球,而且部分磁性线理近南北方向分布。 推测猴石顶重褶皱可能处于向北倾伏的主体构造的东侧。 上述岩石磁性是由自行设计的静态测量方法,用国产的数字式无定向磁力仪测定的。  相似文献

对川滇地块程海断裂附近的宁蒗地区古新统宁蒗组地层进行了详细的磁组构研究,沿战河-西布河布置了22个采点(钻取287块样品),综合分析表明研究区内存在四种磁组构类型,分别为初始变形磁组构和铅笔状磁组构以及介于上述两者之间的两种过渡型磁组构. 研究区西侧(采点1-9)K1轴优势方向为近NNE-SSW方向,东侧(采点13-22)K1轴优势方向则为近S-N向,K1轴方向的突然变化可能与研究区内的隐伏断层活动有关.另外,磁组构也可以很好判断断层所夹持块体之间的相对旋转运动.将两组K1轴优势方向经过旋转校正之后,发现研究区内中-晚始新世时古应力方向为近E-W向,该应力方向主要与新生代印欧碰撞有关.此外,E-W向的古应力场明显不同于现今的近S-N向的应力场方向,这可能与印欧碰撞后青藏高原从前期的挤压缩短阶段进入到后期的E-W向伸展阶段有关.  相似文献

To obtain a better understanding of the colluvial deposits in two catchments in the Luxembourg Ardennes, structural aggregates from forest and farmland soils were subjected to the impact of falling water drops. The changes that the aggregates underwent and the material eroded from them were studied in thin section. Predictably, forest aggregates were more resistant to water-drop impacts than those from farmland. Farmland aggregates tended to slake upon wetting and to break down into many micro-aggregates having a size-frequency distribution similar to that of the micro-aggregates in the undisturbed soil. The forest aggregates were eroded slowly under water-drop impact, losing material from their surfaces or occasionally shearing into several smaller equally resistant aggregates. The size-frequency distributions of the break-down products differed from the micro-aggregates in the untreated aggregates or original forest soil, probably because of bonding by organic material. The differing composition of the aggregates points to the importance of oriented clay and planes for the lack of stability of the farmland aggregates. It can be concluded that agricultural colluvium is probably largely deposited by processes other than splash and that splash is an important process, but not the only one, in the formation of colluvium under forest.  相似文献
