Shear modulus and damping ratio of grouted sand   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
An experimental comparative study of three different grouted sands in terms of their effects on the values of two dynamic properties is presented. The dynamic properties studied are the shear modulus and the damping ratio which are determined with resonant column tests and cyclic triaxial tests. The behaviour of a pure Fontainebleau sand is compared with the behaviour of a Fontainebleau sand grouted with a silicate grout, a micro-fine cement grout and a mineral grout. The effects of the grouting treatment, the type of grout, the confining pressure, and the strains, on the shear modulus and the damping ratio are studied. The test results have shown that grouting improves the stiffness of the sand especially for small strains. Whatever the type of material, confining stress improves the shear modulus whereas it has a negligible effect on the damping ratio. When strain increases, the shear modulus decreases and the damping ratio increases.  相似文献

利用GCTS共振柱系统开展一系列含黏粒砂土的动力特性试验,研究相对密实度对含黏粒砂土动剪切模量和阻尼比的影响,并探讨其影响规律。试验结果表明:相对密实度对动剪切模量、动剪切模量比、阻尼比、最大动剪切模量均有影响。动剪切模量随着相对密实度的增加而变大,但动剪切模量增大的幅度更大;当黏粒含量较小时,动剪切模量比随相对密实度的增加而变大,当黏粒含量较高(≥16%)时,相对密实度对动剪切模量比基本没有影响。阻尼比随相对密实度的增加逐渐变小;最大动剪切模量随相对密实度的增加而增大,但黏粒含量不同,其最大动剪切模量增大幅度不同,同时建立最大动剪切模量随相对密实度变化的关系式,并给出相关参数。  相似文献

砂卵(砾)石的动剪切模量比和阻尼比是河谷地貌场地地震反应分析的重要参数,对设计地震动参数的确定有重要影响。本文利用商洛市地震小区划项目砂卵石的动三轴试验结果,结合其他砂卵(砾)石动三轴试验结果,分组统计得到了稍密、中密、密实砂卵(砾)动三轴试验的推荐结果。建立了典型场地模型,研究了其动剪切模量比和阻尼比的不确定性对场地地震反应的影响。研究表明:动剪切模量比、阻尼比平均值±1倍标准差的不确定性对砂卵石场地峰值加速度的影响较小,说明了分组及统计结果的合理性;不同概率水平下,动剪模量比、阻尼比的变化导致高频部分反应谱有明显差异,0.04-0.1s的反应谱变化范围在20%左右,但对大于1.0s的长周期反应谱影响很小。针对砂卵(砾)石动剪切模量比和阻尼比的研究对提高工程场地设计地震动参数的可靠性具有重要意义。  相似文献

为研究砂-锯末混合模型土的动力参数规律特性,采用动三轴试验,研究了此类土的滞回圈特性以及其动剪切模量和阻尼比随循环加载次数的变化规律。试验结果表明:分级循环加载过程中,随着荷载级别的增加,滞回圈的面积逐渐增大,形状从柳叶形向新月形发展;模型土的动剪切模量在各循环下基本为常量而阻尼比呈上下波动;而随荷载级别的增大,动剪切模量均值减小,阻尼比均值增大;与一般砂土相比,模型土的动力参数曲线分布形态类似,但动剪切模量比更小,阻尼比更大。  相似文献

Cyclic drained and undrained tests were performed in a modified simple shear device in order to specifically investigate the effect of saturation ratio on shear modulus and damping parameters of sand. In addition to the degree of saturation, the effects of number of cycles, vertical consolidation stress, shear strain amplitude and relative density on dynamic properties of sand were investigated. Dynamic stiffness and damping characteristic were found to be substantially independent of saturation ratio in the range of 25−75%. However, by approaching the full saturation state, the values of modulus fall sharply and damping of loose samples increases dramatically from corresponding values of unsaturated levels. Results of drained tests revealed that most of increase in shear modulus and decrease in damping take place in the first 30 cycles. It was found that vertical consolidation stress is the most important parameter which affects shear modulus and damping ratio of sand. Similarly, relative density or void ratio significantly affects dynamic stiffness and damping under undrained conditions. Moreover, the influence of shear strain amplitude should be considered for both drained and undrained tests.  相似文献

Frozen soil plays an important role on the stability of railway and highway subgrade in cold regions. However, the dynamic properties of frozen soil subjected to the freeze–thaw cycles have rarely been investigated. In this study, cryogenic cyclic triaxial tests were conducted on frozen compacted sand from Nehe, Heilongjiang Province in China which was subjected to the closed-system freeze–thaw cycles. A modified Hardin hyperbolic model was suggested to describe the backbone curves. Then, dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio versus cyclic shear strain were analyzed under the different freeze–thaw cycles, temperatures, initial water contents, loading frequencies and confining pressures. The results indicate that the freeze–thaw process plays a significant effect on the dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio, which slightly change after one freeze–thaw cycle. Dynamic shear modulus increases with increasing initial water content, temperature, loading frequency and confining pressure. Damping ratio increases with increasing initial water content, while decreases with increasing temperature and loading frequency. The effect of confining pressure on the damping ratio was found not significant. Furthermore, the empirical expressions were formulated to estimate dynamic shear modulus and damping ratio of the frozen compacted sand. The results provide guidelines for evaluating the infrastructures in cold regions.  相似文献

粉质黏土动剪切模量和阻尼比是建筑场地动力稳定性评价的重要动力参数。为分析豫东平原粉质黏土的动力特性,利用双向振动三轴仪试验系统,对取自豫东平原地区的粉质黏土进行动三轴试验,研究粉质黏土状态及固结压力对动剪切模量和阻尼比的影响。研究发现:可塑粉质黏土(PSC)与软塑粉质黏土(SSC)的动力特性存在相近的变化趋势,动剪切模量比随剪应变的增大而减小,阻尼比随剪应变的增大而增大;在同一应变水平下,SSC的动剪切模量比随固结压力的增大而增大、PSC的阻尼比随固结压力的增大而增大;在相同试验条件下,PSC的最大动剪切模量大于SSC的最大动剪切模量;在剪应变小于0.01%时两者动剪切模量快速衰减,剪应变达到0.03%时两者动剪切模量趋于一致。根据现有的粉质黏土动剪切模量与阻尼比研究成果,结合试验数据,提出粉质黏土动剪切模量比、阻尼比随剪应变变化的数学模型,为豫东平原粉质黏土场地工程建设中的动力稳定性评价提供依据。  相似文献

基于航空工业组团阎良片区地震小区划项目中大量动三轴试验结果,通过双曲线拟合方法,得到主要土类(黄土状土、粉质粘土、粉土、细砂)在8个典型剪应变(0.000005、0.00001、0.00005、0.0001、0.0005、0.001、0.005、0.01)下的动剪切模量比和阻尼比统计值,并将得到的统计值与廖振鹏给出的建议值、陈党民等给出的典型值和袁晓铭等给出的推荐值进行比较,进一步论证土动力学参数的地域性特征。文中还探讨了土样埋深和取样手段(试样等级)对动剪切模量比和阻尼比的影响。文中给出的统计值可为该片区地震小区划中的土层地震反应模型提供参数,同时也为研究该片区场地土动力特性及重大工程地震安全性评价工作提供参考和借鉴。  相似文献

利用GCTS共振柱测试仪研究了干密度和固结压力对固原黄土重塑土动剪切模量和阻尼比的影响及试验数据误差的基本规律。通过设计不同工况的试验条件,对比分析结果表明:相同含水率条件下,最大动剪切模量G_(dmax)随固结压力和干密度的增大而增大。相同干密度条件下,黄土的动剪切模量比随围压的增大而增大;阻尼比随围压的增大而减小;相同围压条件下,黄土动剪切模量比随干密度的增大而增大,阻尼比随干密度的增大而减小;不同剪应变特征点的动剪切模量比和阻尼比试验数据呈现一定的离散性,且离散程度阻尼比明显高于动剪切模量比。研究成果可为该地区场地地震反应分析及工程建设提供基础资料。  相似文献

Laboratory resonant column and cyclic triaxial tests are performed to determine the dynamic response (i.e. shear modulus and damping) of chemically grouted sand. The effect of chemical grouting is evaluated as a function of shearing-strain amplitude, confining stress, cycling prestrain, number of cycles, grout type, concentration, and curing time. The test results show that the shearing-strain amplitude, grout type and grout concentration have significant effects on the shear modulus and damping ratio of the test specimens. The increased addition of sodium silicate grout, which produces stiff gels, improved the shear modulus of the test sand. The acrylate (AC-400) and polyurethane (CG5610) grout, which produces flexible (rubber-like) gels, improved the damping capacity of the sand with increasing grout concentration. The addition of chemical grout greatly reduces the effect of cyclic prestraining over untreated sands. In the case of dense sands, the reduction of cyclic prestraining is less pronounced than in loose sands, which have a higher potential for particle movement and reorientation.  相似文献

针对荆江大堤江陵段下伏地层广泛分布的饱和粉细砂,参照原位试验成果重塑粉细砂试样,按估算的固结应力比(Kc约为1.6)对试样动剪模量、阻尼比及总应力动强度进行测试,结果表明:(1)试样应力-应变骨干曲线与Hardin-Drnevich双曲线模型假设高度吻合,Hardin公式可很好地拟合动模量/阻尼比与动应变的关系。在研究试样密实度范围内,最大动模量随围压和密实度的增加而增加,但围压对动模量的敏感性更高,且相同围压下动剪模量比与动应变关系曲线近乎重合。围压增大或密实度升高均会引起阻尼比的降低,1%应变对应的阻尼比分布在0.15~0.21之间;(2)偏压状态下以累积轴向应变5%作为液化判别标准进行抗液化强度试验,随特征振次及测试围压的增大,液化动剪应力比相应减小,试样振动孔压比最高仅能达到0.8~0.9;(3)由总应力法求取的动内摩擦角与黏聚力均随设定特征振次的增加而下降,且内聚力并非约等于0,表明动力作用下该试样具有一定的黏滞性。  相似文献

The dynamic shear modulus ratio and damping ratio of sandy gravel are important parameters for the seismic response analysis of valley geomorphic sites,which have an important impact on the determination of design ground motion parameters. In this paper,the dynamic triaxial test of sandy gravels has been performed based on the project of the Shangluo Seismic Microzonation. Combined with the other results of sandy gravel,the recommended results of slightly dense,medium dense and dense sandy gravel were obtained. By building the typical site model,the influence of the dynamic shear modulus ratio and the damping ratio uncertainty on the seismic response of the site is studied. The results show that the uncertainty of the average of the dynamic shear modulus ratio and the damping ratio ± 1 times the standard deviation has little effect on the peak acceleration of the sandy gravel site,and the rationality of the grouping and statistical results is explained. Under different probability levels,the change in the shear modulus ratio and damping ratio leads to a significant difference in the high frequency response spectrum.The response spectrum of 0. 04-0. 1s ranges from about 20%,but it has little effect on the long period spectrum of more than 1. 0s. The study of dynamic shear modulus ratio and damping ratio of sandy gravel has the ability to improve the reliability of the designing ground motion parameters.  相似文献

以粗粒料动三轴数值模拟为例,分析了不同对称模型(1/2,1/4,1/8,1/12)条件下,粗粒料动剪切模量和阻尼比的变化规律。计算结果表明,不同对称模型的计算结果存在一定的差异,但其变化规律基本一致,随着模型对称比例的增大动剪切模量逐渐增大,阻尼比逐渐减小,计算时间成倍减少。分析了颗粒生成过程中不均匀性对试验结果的影响。计算结果表明:1/8模型动剪切模量和阻尼比影响较小;1/12模型动剪切模量影响较大,阻尼比影响较小。建议在动力分析过程中采用1/8模型即可。  相似文献

Recycled tire rubber in mixtures with granular soils has been found recently applications in many civil engineering projects. The paper presents a synthesis of the dynamic strain-dependent properties of the commonly used soil/rubber mixtures, which are necessary in any seismic design. We focus herein on high-amplitude resonant column tests on granular soil/rubber mixtures with varying percentage of rubber. The most important characteristics of the dynamic properties of the mixtures like the confining pressure, the content of rubber, the grain-size characteristics of the physical portion of the mixtures as well as the relative size of soil versus rubber solids, are thoroughly discussed. We propose generic normalized shear modulus and damping ratio versus shearing strain amplitude curves for dry mixtures of sand/rubber (SRM) and gravel/rubber (GRM) appropriate for the engineering practice. Finally, we summarize analytical expressions for small-strain shear modulus and damping ratio for SRM and GRM proposed in previous studies.  相似文献

土的最大动剪切模量、剪应变幅和阻尼比是对土层进行动力反应分析的重要力学参数。利用英国GDS公司生产的RCA共振柱仪,研究围压对都江堰地区粉质粘土的上述动力学参数的影响。研究表明:相同围压条件下,最大动剪切模量、剪应变幅和阻尼比随重复次数基本不变,表明该试验过程具有可重复性;最大动剪切模量、剪应变幅和阻尼比均受围压影响较大,随着围压的增大,最大动剪切模量和阻尼比均逐渐增大,而剪应变幅随着围压的增大逐渐减小。据此,建立了都江堰地区粉质粘土动力学参数随围压变化的经验公式。本研究可为土层地震动力反应分析提供参考并积累基础资料。  相似文献

The availability of efficient numerical techniques and high speed computation facilities for carrying out the nonlinear dynamic analysis of soil-structure interaction problems and the analysis of ground response due to earthquake loading increase the demand for proper estimation of dynamic properties of soil at small strain as well as at large strain levels. Accurate evaluation of strain dependent dynamic properties of soil such as shear modulus and damping characteristics along with the liquefaction potential are the most important criteria for the assessments of geotechnical problems involving dynamic loading. In this paper the results of resonant column tests and undrained cyclic triaxial tests are presented for Kasai River sand. A new correlation for dynamic shear damping (Ds) and maximum dynamic shear modulus (Gmax) are proposed for the sand at small strain. The proposed relationships and the observed experimental data match quite well. The proposed relationships are also compared with the published relationships for other sands. The liquefaction potential of the sand is estimated at different relative densities and the damping characteristics at large strain level is also reported. An attempt has been made to correlate the Gmax with the cyclic strength of the soil and also with the deviator stress (at 1% strain) from static triaxial tests.  相似文献

利用铜川市地震小区划项目的大量典型土样动三轴试验结果,采用双曲线模型拟合得到了铜川新区黄土和古土壤在8个典型应变下的动剪切模量比和阻尼比值。根据不同沉积年代和不同土层深度2种方法对黄土、古土壤动剪切模量比和阻尼比随剪应变变化情况进行了统计和对比分析。研究发现:同一剪应变下,黄土、古土壤动剪切模量比随沉积年代和土层深度的增加而增加。二者对黄土动剪切模量比的影响较为显著。  相似文献

土的动剪切模量比和阻尼比是土层地震反应分析、工程场地地震安全性评价和地震小区划工作中的必备参数,但其不确定性显著,对地震动和抗震设计影响很大。本文以我国常规土类动剪切模量比和阻尼比与剪应变非线性关系试验为基础,研究考虑这两个动力参数变异性下其超越概率的计算方法。方法包括了试验数据的整理、超越概率的计算以及两个动力参数和超越概率关系模拟等几个步骤,最后给出了我国常规土类动剪切模量比和阻尼比超越概率的计算公式,为我国基于概率和可靠度思想的工程地震安全风险评估提供了一定基础。  相似文献

在地震荷载作用下,自由场地会产生土体侧向变形和地表响应放大现象。由于土体的高度非线性,计算自由场地地震响应时,不同的阻尼比及剪切模量取值是造成其计算结果与试验结果相差较大的原因之一。目前动力计算常采用瑞利阻尼方法,其系数取值会在一定程度上影响计算结果。选用两模态简化瑞利阻尼系数计算方法,分析土体阻尼比及控制频率的取值对计算结果的影响,对比离心机模型试验,利用开源有限元平台OpenSees,采用适合于土体动力分析的多屈服面本构模型(PDMY),建立剪切梁模型模拟三维自由场地,并分析瑞利阻尼参数对自由场地地震响应和侧向变形计算结果的影响。结果表明,针对相对密度为60%的Nevada干砂,阻尼比为4%、控制频率比为5时,场地响应计算结果与试验结果较为符合。综合分析显示场地非线性响应时域计算时,应特别注意选用的瑞利阻尼参数值。  相似文献
