- Stress concentration analysis of multiplanar tubular DT joints plays an important role in the fatigue design of offshore platforms. A semi-analytic method for stress analysis under the condition of any loads is briefly introduced in the paper. Nineteen multiplanar tubular DT joints with one of two braces of the same dimension subjected to axial loads and out- of- plane bending moments are computed for parametric stress analysis by using the present method. The influence of geometrical parameters on the stresses of multiplanar tubular DT joints is discussed and compared with corresponding uniplanar T joints. The regression formulae for the stress at hot spot of multiplanar DT joints are found by modification of SCF of corresponding uniplanar T joints. The parametric formulae for the maximum stress by superposition. Finally, the influences of stiffening effect and load-interaction effect on the maximum stress of DT joints are discussed.  相似文献

This paper introduces the process and result of fatigue test of steel (Z direction steel) welded T tubular joints used in offshore engineering. Detailed measurement of stress concentration factor, stress distribution, fatigue life and crack development has been performed. Through analysis, an empirical formula of stress concentration factor for T tubular joints, fatigue S-N curve and crack propagation rule are obtained.  相似文献

The degree of bending (DoB) characterizing the through-the-thickness stress distribution has a profound effect on the fatigue behavior of tubular joints commonly found in steel offshore structures and the determination of DoB values is essential for improving the accuracy of fatigue life estimation. Probability density functions of the involved random variables are necessary for the fatigue reliability analysis of offshore structures. The objective of present research was the derivation of probability density function (PDF) for the DoB in tubular KT-joints commonly found in jacket-type offshore platforms. A total of 162 finite element (FE) analyses were carried out on 81 FE models of KT-joints subjected to two types of axial loading. Generated FE models were validated using experimental data, previous FE results, and available parametric equations. Based on the results of parametric FE study, a sample database was prepared for the DoB values and density histograms were generated for respective samples based on the Freedman-Diaconis rule. Thirteen theoretical PDFs were fitted to the developed histograms and the maximum likelihood (ML) method was applied to evaluate the parameters of fitted PDFs. In each case, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to evaluate the goodness of fit. Finally, the Generalized Extreme Value model was proposed as the governing probability distribution function for the DoB. After substituting the values of estimated parameters, six fully defined PDFs were presented for the DoB in tubular KT-joints subjected to two types of axial loading.  相似文献

This paper aims to investigate the local joint flexibility (LJF) of tubular X-joints with collar plates subjected to axial load. A total number of 136 FE models were generated and analyzed to investigate the effect of collar plate size and joint geometry (η, τc, β, γ, and τ) on the local joint flexibility factor (fLJF). Also, the weld profiles and the contact between the chord wall and the collar plates were modeled in the numerical simulations. Results showed that the increase of the collar plate thickness and length results in the decrease of the fLJF. Despite the difference between the fLJF of unreinforced and collar plate reinforced X-joints, there has not been any study on the fLJF of the X-joints reinforced with collar plate. Also, there is no design equation for determining the fLJF of the collar plate reinforced X-joints. Thus, the results of the parametric study were used to develop a design formula, to determine the fLJF of X-joints reinforced with collar plates under axial load.  相似文献

在国内外文献研究的基础上,对钢质近海结构物的修理,加固方法做了较为深入的研究,利用丹麦学者N.S.Ottosen提出的多轴应力状态下混凝土强度理论Ottosen破坏准则,建立了钢与混凝土组合结构T型灌浆卡箍管节点的轴向受控,受压和面内弯矩作用下的非线性有限元计算模型,采用分级加载计算分析了相应的极限承载能力,并与试验结果进行比较分析,计算结果表明,经灌浆卡箍维修后的管节点应力分布,变形和极限承载能力都得到了明显的改善,所得结果较好地反映了实际结构的力学特性。  相似文献

- The formulation for the stress concentration matrix of multiplanar tubular joint with braces subjected to combined load is established in this paper. The formulations for SCF values of multiplanar tubular joints are compared with those by Wordsworth and Efthymiou. The stiffening effect and load-interaction effect are discussed. A spatial offshore jacket with braces subjected to combined load is computed as a numerical example. The maximum stress of each multiplanar tubular joint and its location are found through SCF matrix. Finally, the difference between the maximum stresses of multiplanar tubular joints and their corresponding uniplanar tubular joints are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, results of comprehensive finite element (FE) analyses carried out on 81 generated models of tubular K-joints are presented. Results of FE models were verified against experimental data and parametric equations. The fatigue life of a tubular joint, which is commonly found in offshore industry, is not only dependent on the value of hot-spot stress (HSS), but is also significantly influenced by the through-the-thickness stress distribution characterized by the degree of bending (DoB). Data extracted from FE analyses was used to study the effects of geometrical parameters on the DoB values in tubular K-joints subjected to two types of out-of-plane bending (OPB) moment loads. The determination of DoB values in a tubular joint is essential for improving the accuracy of fatigue life estimation using the stress-life (S–N) method and particularly for predicting the fatigue crack growth based on the fracture mechanics (FM) approach. Geometrically parametric investigation was followed by a set of nonlinear regression analyses to develop DoB parametric formulas for the fatigue analysis of K-joints under OPB loadings.  相似文献

港口工程和海洋工程中出现了越来越多的大直径超长钢管桩。由于这种桩直径较大,土塞的形成对桩的可打入性和承载力有较大的影响。鉴于此,根据大直径和超大直径钢管桩土塞性状的特殊性,考虑了桩直径对侧壁摩阻力、端阻力的影响,引入了尺寸效应系数,重新建立了土塞微分体的静力平衡方程,提出了采用改进的静力平衡法进行土塞效应判断,同时采用波动方程法近似模拟土塞与桩管内壁的相互作用,建立了简化的土塞与桩壁相互作用模型,并用该方法进行实际工程的打桩分析,分析结果表明该方法对土塞效应的判断、打桩过程的预测等与工程实测数据吻合较好。  相似文献

K-joint is widely used on offshore platforms; its strength is very important for safety evaluation of platforms and the welding residual stress is inevitable. According to the thermo-effect of welding process, based on ANSYS, using the birth-death element technology, numerical simulation was performed for the welding process by coupling the temperature field and stress field. The nonlinear changes of material properties were considered and the distribution of temperature and stress was obtained. Considering that annealing treatment is generally performed for K-joint after welding, the process of annealing treatment was also simulated in this paper and the influence of it on welding residual stress was analyzed. Based on this, axial loads were applied on two different K-joint models, one with welding residual stress and the other without welding residual stress while just considering the influence of welding seam structure on the K-joint. The stress concentration factors (SCFs) of these two models were calculated and thus the influence of the welding residual stress on stress concentration factor was analyzed. Furthermore, considering the influence of welding residual stress, 105 models of K-joints with different geometric parameters and loading conditions were generated and the effects of them on the SCFs were discussed, results presented in this paper provide references for safety analysis of K-joints.  相似文献

吸力式沉箱基础的承载特性是海洋工程结构设施建造与设计中的一个关键问题。这种新型的深水海洋基础型式,通常承受竖向上拔荷载与水平荷载的共同作用,其工作性能与设计理论远远不能满足工程实践的需要。本文采用有限元分析方法对吸力式沉箱基础的极限承载特性进行数值计算。以大型通用有限元分析软件ABAQUS为平台,通过二次开发,数值实现了Swipe试验加载方法和固定位移比分析方法,针对不同的沉箱长径比、土的强度折减系数,探讨了沉箱基础在垂直上拔荷载和水平荷载单调联合作用下的极限承载力,通过对不同荷载组合的数值计算构造了复合加载条件下沉箱基础破坏包络面。  相似文献

A new nonlinear two-dimensional tubular joint element is developed in this study on the basis of flexibility equations and the interaction between the axial force and the in-plane bending moment in the joint. Empirical equations are used to define the joint yielding in the axial direction and the in-plane rotation. An elastic-perfectly plastic yield function is adopted to include the combined effects of axial loads and bending moments on the yielding of the joint. The element formulation is straightforward, and it can readily be implemented in nonlinear finite element programs. Verification studies are carried out for the element to prove its suitability for the modeling of tubular joints of offshore jacket structures. It is concluded that the nonlinear joint model that has been developed produces accurate results, verified against experimental data as well as against sophisticated multi-axial finite element joint models.  相似文献

Various offshore structures, especially large structures such as Tension Leg Platforms (TLP), are usually supported by concrete piles as the foundation elements. The stress distribution within such a large structure is a dominant factor in the design procedure of an offshore pile. To provide a more accurate and effective design for offshore foundation systems under axial and lateral wave loads, a finite element model is employed herein to determine the stresses and displacements in a concrete pile under similar loading conditions. A parametric study is also performed to examine the effects of the stress distribution due to the changing loading conditions.  相似文献

Stress Joint(SJ) plays a key role in the Top Tensioned Riser(TTR) system for deep water engineering.A preliminary design method of tapered SJ is proposed in the paper,which could help designers obtain accurate design data.After a further sensitive analysis is carried out,the related parameters choice and control methods are recommended in the engineering practice.By taking the extreme environment conditions into consideration,the effects of bending stress reduction and curve control are analyzed,and the 3-D FE models are established by ABQOUS for numerical evaluation to verify the correctness of design results.At last,dynamic analysis and fatigue analysis,based on actual project,are carried out with designed stress joint.The analysis results prove the feasibility and guidance of this method in the practical engineering applications.  相似文献

风机基础作为海上风机整体结构的重要组成部分,承受着上部风机所受到的风浪流荷载,并且对风机的安全性及可靠性至关重要。吸力式桶形基础由于其安装简单和可重复利用等优点,在海洋平台基础中得到了广泛应用,并逐步应用于海上风机基础中。但由于海上风机与海洋平台在海洋环境中的荷载工况有一定的差别,仍需要通过对其承载特性研究现状进行全面认识,以实现吸力式桶形基础在海上风机基础中的可靠应用。文中通过总结和评价现有研究对桶形基础在不同土体条件以及荷载条件下进行试验及数值模拟分析得到的研究结果,综述了静荷载和循环荷载作用下砂土和黏土中的吸力式桶形基础的承载特性研究现状,以及海上风机吸力式桶形基础的相关研究。文章展望了目前应用于海上风机基础的桶形基础仍缺乏的研究,为海上风机吸力式桶形基础的可靠应用及后续研究提供重要参考。  相似文献

由于海洋平台管节点的局部柔度对平台结构的静动力性能有重要影响,如何确定各类管节点的局部柔度成为一个重要的研究课题。本文用半解析方法计算了海洋平台中一类常见的管节点──TY型管节点的局部柔度,并用回归方法得出了计算TY型管节点局部柔度矩阵中各元素的参数公式。本文还介绍了对一组TY型管节点PVC塑料模型进行的局部柔度试验。参数公式计算结果与模型试验结果的比较表明,本文得出的参数公式是基本可靠的,建议可在海洋平台总体结构分析中使用。  相似文献

The behaviour of an axially pre-loaded cylindrical member of an offshore structure, hit by a supply ship, has been investigated. The effects of axial pre-loading on the dynamic properties of members, the extent of damage and propagation of dynamic instability in the tubular members have also been investigated. Numerical models have been validated using available experimental data from the literature although these are mostly static with no pre-loading. Axial pre-loading was found to change the dynamic characteristics of some cylindrical members quite dramatically while it had no significant effect on others. The study examined whether there was any change in the behaviour between local and global modes when the loading was dynamic rather than static. The effect of damping on the dynamic instability of axially pre-loaded tubes under lateral dynamic loads was also studied. It was observed that for some geometries the quasi-static response can be used to define the boundary between bounded and unbounded dynamic responses. The main contribution of this study, compared with previous investigations reported in the literature, is that both pre-loading and dynamic effects have been included.  相似文献

Loal flexibility of tubular joints has important effect on the static and dynamic behaviour of offshore platforms, therefore, the determination of it becomes an important research subject in the field of offshore engineering. In this paper, the local flexibility of TY-type tubular joints, which are widely used in offshore platforms, is calculated by using semi- analytical method. Based on the calculated results, parametric formulae for evaluating element in the local joint flexibility matrix of TY- type tubular joints are derived by regression. A test on PVC models of TY-type tubular joints to measure the local joint flexibility is also reported. A comparison of the results calculated from the parametric formulae presented in this paper with those measured from the model test shows that the parametric formulae are reliable. It is recommended that these formulae be used in the global structural analysis of offshore platforms.  相似文献

海洋油气资源的运输主要通过海底管道进行,管道在工作时受到较大的温度荷载,会产生整体屈曲变形。深海管道设计中常采用人为装置触发一定程度的水平向整体屈曲变形,来释放轴向的温度应力,浮力装置是常用的触发方式之一。本文通过数值模拟研究,分析了不同浮力大小和不同浮力施加范围下,管道水平向整体屈曲的临界屈曲力,得出临界屈曲力随浮力大小和施加范围变化的情况;并研究了不同土体阻力下,浮力装置触发整体屈曲的效果。研究表明,水平向土体阻力较大时,浮力装置触发水平向整体屈曲的效果较好。浮力装置的触发效果对轴向土体阻力不敏感。  相似文献

"The effect of interaction of loads on the ultimate static strength of tubular joints of offshore fixed platforms, is a practical problem. But there is still absence of rigorous theory to explain available experimental data and empirical criteria for the static strength of tubular joints. The idea of yield at hot spot of tubular joints is introduced in this paper. The interaction equations of plastic capacity for the tubular joints under combined loads (two and three different kinds) are derived. Thereafter the Yura's test data and empirical criteria of ultimate static strength for the tubular joints can be explained. The idea of classification of category of loads in accordance with experimental data and the present theory is suggested. Finally, the improved ultimate capacity equations for tubular joints are recommended. The physical significance of the coefficient of plastic reservation Qp is discussed.  相似文献

In order to account for rigid-flexible coupling effects of floating offshore wind turbines, a nonlinear rigid-flexible coupled dynamic model is proposed in this paper. The proposed nonlinear coupled model takes the higher-order axial displacements into account, which are usually neglected in the conventional linear dynamic model. Subsequently,investigations on the dynamic differences between the proposed nonlinear dynamic model and the linear one are conducted. The results demonstrate that the stiffness of the turbine blades in the proposed nonlinear dynamic model increases with larger overall motions but that in the linear dynamic model declines with larger overall motions.Deformation of the blades in the nonlinear dynamic model is more reasonable than that in the linear model as well.Additionally, more distinct coupling effects are observed in the proposed nonlinear model than those in the linear model. Finally, it shows that the aerodynamic loads, the structural loads and global dynamic responses of floating offshore wind turbines using the nonlinear dynamic model are slightly smaller than those using the linear dynamic model. In summary, compared with the conventional linear dynamic model, the proposed nonlinear coupling dynamic model is a higher-order dynamic model in consideration of the rigid-flexible coupling effects of floating offshore wind turbines, and accord more perfectly with the engineering facts.  相似文献
