The pyranometer for observing the solar radiation reaching the surface of the earth is manufactured by various companies around the world. The sensitivity of the pyranometer at the observatory is required to be properly controlled based on the reference value of the World Radiometric Center (WRC) and the observatory environment; otherwise, the observational data may be subject to a large error. Since the sensitivity of the pyranometer can be calibrated in an indoor or outdoor calibration, this study used a CSTM-USS-4000C Integrating Sphere by Labsphere Inc. (USA) to calibrate the sensitivity of CMP22 pyranometer by Kipp&Zonen Inc. (Netherlands). Consequently, the factory sensitivity of CMP22 was corrected from 8.68 μV·(Wm?2)?1 to 8.98 μV·(Wm?2)?1, and the result from the outdoor calibration according to the observatory environment was 8.90 μV·(Wm?2)?1. After the indoor calibration of the pyranometer sensitivity, the root mean square error (RMSE) of the observational data at the observatory on a clear day without clouds (July 13, 2017) was 7.11 Wm?2 in comparison to the reference pyranometer. After the outdoor calibration of the pyranometer sensitivity based on these results, the RMSE of the observational data was 1.74 Wm?2 on the same day. Periodic inspections are required because the decrease of sensitivity over time is inevitable in the pyranometer data produced at the observatory. The initial sensitivity after indoor calibration (8.98 μV·(Wm?2)?1) is important, and the sensitivity after outdoor calibration (8.90 μV·(Wm?2)?1) can be compared to the data at the Baseline Surface Radiation Network (BSRN) or can be used for various studies and daily applications.  相似文献

PSP总日射表在我国一直作为标准总日射表和质量优良的辐射仪器在使用,2006年以前还曾作为国家散射标准,在太阳辐射量值传递中测量标准散射辐射,通过成分和法计算标准总日射辐照度。总日射表的校准在晴天条件下进行,此时天空无云,由于热偏移为负值,导致对短波灵敏度系数被低估。2011年10月14日—11月15日在北京密云上甸子大气本底站进行了对比观测试验,通过对不同总日射表热偏移订正方法的试验与研究,进行了5种热偏移订正方法的比较。通过订正,在用于室外成分和法校准时,PSP表的灵敏度系数的准确度可提高1%,进而提高总辐射的测量准确度。  相似文献

介绍了5种总辐射表的校准方法,比较了这些方法的优点和不足。针对不同等级的总辐射表,采用不同的校准方法,对其进行量值传递,以满足不同用户的需求。通过对不同方法的对比试验,结果表明遮/不遮法校准的总辐射表灵敏度的准确度优于成分和法,而成分和法优于平行比对法,以人工光源校准误差最大。我国总辐射表的校准以太阳为光源,按WMO的规定在仪器的正常使用状态下进行。使用遮/不遮法校准国家散射辐射测量标准,用成分和法校准省级工作级标准总辐射表,用平行比对法校准台站用工作级总辐射表,确保了太阳辐射观测数据的准确可靠。  相似文献

国产总辐射表检定时,其测量结果的不确定度由重复性测量、标准器、温度变化、入射角、时间响应、非线性、零位漂移、数据采集器误差、操作误差和光谱响应误差多种因素引起。根据《JJF1059-1999测量不确定度评定与表示》规定的方法,对国产总辐射表检定结果的不确定度进行评定。分析并列出对测量结果有明显影响的不确定度来源。对各标准不确定度分量进行定量评定。结果表明,在满足检定环境要求的条件下,总辐射表检定结果的扩展不确定度为3.4%,其中入射角误差引起的标准不确定度分量最大。因此新出厂的总辐射表必须严格按照《JJG458-96总辐射表》检定规程进行余弦响应、方位响应、非线性等误差的测试,保证总辐射表的测量准确度。  相似文献

本文应用安装在经纬仪上的天空辐射表所观测的坡面散射辐射资料,对散射辐射的各向异性问题作了较为详尽的分析。揭示出坡面散射辐射随坡向、坡度变化的基本规律。文中还对前人所提出的计算坡面散射辐射的各种模式进行了检验、评述。最终提出一种通用性较强的坡面散射辐射通量密度的计算模式。其物理意义和计算精度都较国外同类模式优越。  相似文献

Summary It is shown that the current of a pyranometer can be made independent of temperature by connecting a resistor of appropriate characteristics in series with the pyranometer. The temperature coefficient of the pyranometer with respect to the electromotive force should be made equal to the temperature coefficient of the resistance of the circuit. A resistor with a semilinear temperature characteristic and a negative temperature coefficient can be constructed by connecting a N.T.C. (Negative Temperature Coefficient) resistor in parallel with a resistor of constant resistance. A complete calculation is carried out for a case where the pyranometer is a Moll-Gorczynski solarimeter and the instrument indicating the current is a potentiometer. It turns out that the temperature influence on the radiation measurement can be almost eliminated.
Zusammenfassung Es wird gezeigt, daß der Strom eines Pyranometers durch Einbau eines Resistors von geeigneter Charakteristik in Serie mit dem Pyranometer temperaturunabhängig gemacht werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck ist der Temperaturkoeffizient des Pyranometers in bezug auf die elektromotorische Kraft dem Temperaturkoeffizienten des Widerstandes des Stromkreises gleich zu machen. Ein Resistor mit einer semilinearen Temperaturcharakteristik und einem negativen Temperaturkoeffizienten kann durch Verbindung eines resistors mit negativen Temperaturkoeffizienten (N. T. C.) parallel zu einem Resistor von konstantem Widerstand konstruiert werden. Es wird eine vollständige Berechnung für den Fall der Kombination eines Solarimeters Moll-Gorczynski mit einem Potentiometer durchgeführt. Dabei ergibt sich, daß der Temperatureinfluß auf die Strahlungsmessung nahezu eliminiert werden kann.

Résumé L'auteur démontre que le courant issu d'une pyranomètre peut être rendu indépendant des influences de la température en introduisant dans le circuit une thermistance appropriée placée en série. Le coefficient thermique du pyranomètre—compte tenu de la force électromotrice—doit être égal au coefficient thermique de la résistance du circuit. On peut construire une thermistance avec une caractéristique semi-linéaire de température et un coefficient thermique négatif en connectant en parallèle une résistance N. T. C. (Negative Temperature Coefficient) et une résistance constante. L'auteur présente un calcul complet pour le cas où le pyranomètre est un solarimètre Moll-Gorczynski et l'instrument de mesure un potentiomètre. Il en résulte que l'influence de la tempature sur la mesure du rayonnement peut presque être éliminée.

Detailed analysis is made of anisotropy of slope scattered radiation (SSR) in terms of the data obtained by a pyranometer mounted on a theodolite,indicating the change of SSR as a function of orientation and slope.And also reviewed are the models for SSR calculation developed by earlier researchers through the tests with the data.On this basis a new model for SSR flux density is proposed which is of higher applicability and has advantage over the analogues abroad both in physical implication and accuracy of the calculations.  相似文献

本文根据不同类型云影响地面短波辐射的差异,提出利用地面短波总辐射变化检测识别淡积云以及计算淡积云水平尺度的方法,并对该算法进行误差分析,统计内蒙古草原地区夏季淡积云的水平尺度及其辐射强迫。结果表明:淡积云检测方法能比较好地识别、筛选出淡积云天。淡积云水平尺度和淡积云所在高度的风速成正比,风速测量的准确性直接影响淡积云水平尺度估算准确性;淡积云水平与垂直尺度比对计算淡积云水平尺度影响最大;云移动经过遮挡太阳直射辐射的时段内,太阳天顶角变化的影响可以忽略不计。内蒙古草原地区夏季淡积云短波辐射强迫小时平均为-134.1 W m-2,水平尺度平均值为1129 m,水平尺度的概率密度呈幂指数分布。  相似文献

The vertical distribution of the CH3Cl mixing ratio in the stratosphere has been measured from samples collected during two balloon flights on the 21 October 1982 and 10 September 1983. Measurements were made with two analytical techniques that were also employed for previous analyses of stratospheric samples: gas chromatography (GC) and a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) combination. The results from all balloon flights performed to date are combined to derive an average experimental profile of CH3Cl at midlatitudes. The profile shows that the CH3Cl mixing ratio decreases by about one order of magnitude between 20 and 30 km altitude. A comparison of the new observations with model profiles reveals discrepancies in the lower stratosphere that amount to a factor of about 3. Possible causes for these discrepancies are discussed.  相似文献

Abstract

The measurement of radiation fluxes suffers from inaccuracies at low solar elevations and this poses a problem for determining the snow albedo at high latitudes. From the data of Resolute, NWT, three situations were observed: (1) an often‐reported situation when albedo decreases with increasing solar elevation, (2) an inverse situation when albedo increases with increasing solar elevation and (3) no obvious relationship. There were also cases when albedo exceeded 100%. The possible causes for such anomalous conditions or for erroneous albedos include instrument response deviating from the cosine law, instrument tilt, sensing of the sun by the inverted pyranometer and change in the spectral quality of incoming radiation with changing solar height. However, omission of the radiation values measured during the period of low solar elevation will not seriously affect the prediction of snowmelt. In this note, we have identified the anomalies and suggested possible causes; but further investigations are required to verify the causative mechanisms.  相似文献

The surface albedo of two large cities in Japan was measured using a pyranometer mounted on a helicopter to avoid the bidirectional reflectance distribution. The daytime albedo was 0.12 in the cities, which was less than that of a nearby forest (0.16). The albedo was dependent on building structure in the cities; the albedo was lower in areas with more buildings, and decreased as the aspect ratio of street canyons increased. There are two reasons for this dependency: the multiple reflection of radiation in the building canopy, as has been shown in many previous studies, and the sparse vegetation in urban areas. These two factors concurrently determine the albedo in a real city, where the vegetation amount decreases as the plan roof ratio increases.  相似文献

Presented are the results of studies dealing with the analysis of discrepancies in the data on total ozone measurements carried out using different instruments. The results of measurements with ground-based spectral (UV and visible) and filter instruments and spaceborne nadir scanning instruments are used as initial data. As a result of the analysis of relative systematic and random discrepancies, it is concluded that the data of filter instruments are of insufficient accuracy for diagnosing total ozone values. The analysis of linear trends revealed the presence of considerable differences in the data series obtained by spectral instruments. It is concluded that there is every reason to hope for obtaining the most homogeneous measurement data in Russia using the instruments operating in the Chappuis band.  相似文献

Changes in global radiation measured with thermoelectric pyranometers at stations of the World Radiation Network in 1958, 1965, 1975 and 1985 were found to be large and statistically significant in many cases. Comparison of the data from the 46 unmoved stations and from the spline-fitted latitudinal distributions of the more than one hundred measurements available for each year yielded the same mean reduction. This was 5.3% (9 W m-2) for the difference in annual irradiation between 1958 and 1985 weighted for the land surfaces of the Earth. Causes of the substantial spatial and temporal variations found in the magnitude, significance and even sign of the changes could not be clearly identified because of the uneven distribution of the station network, the small number of years examined and the unknown accuracy of the measurements. Summary At the high-mountain station Jungfraujoch (3576 m a.s.l., Switzerland), measurements of the radiation fluxes were made during 16 periods of six to eight weeks by means of a Robertson—Berger sunburn meter (UVB data), an Eppley UVA radiometer and an Eppley pyranometer. Cloudiness, opacity and altitude of clouds were recorded at 30-minute intervals. A second set of instruments was employed for separate measurement of the diffuse radiation fluxes using shadow bands. The global and diffuse UVA- and UVB radiation fluxes change less with cloudiness than the corresponding total radiation fluxes. When the sun is covered by clouds, the global UVA- and UVB radiation fluxes are also affected less than the global total radiation flux. The roughly equal influence of cloudiness on the UVA- and UVB radiation fluxes suggests that the reduction is influenced more by scattering than by ozone. Also, the share of diffuse irradiance in global irradiance is considerably higher for UVA- and UVB irradiance than for total irradiance. At 50° solar elevation and 0/10 cloudiness, the share is 39% for UVB irradiance, 34% for UVA irradiance and 11% for total irradiance. The increased aerosol turbidity after the eruptions of El Chichon and Pinatubo has caused a significant increase in diffuse total irradiance but has not produced any significant changes in diffuse UVA- and UVB irradiances.With 7 Figures  相似文献

A simple model is developed which estimates daily global radiation at the floor of a non-homogeneous Eucalyptus forest. Model input parameters are easily derived from field measurements and consist of individual tree location, tree height, maximum canopy width and its corresponding height, height of the lowest branch and trunk thickness. In addition, the model requires values for global and diffuse irradiance in the open. The tree canopy is represented as a series of spheres containing leaves which are homogeneously spaced but are oriented in the vertical plane. This configuration closely approaches that of actual eucalyptus trees. A Monte-Carlo approach is used to estimate the albedo of the unit sphere as a function of solar zenith angle. At a given combination of solar zenith and azimuth angle, the model estimates the solar irradiance at a specific forest floor location.The model, when tested against pyranometer measurements, predicted daily solar irradiance with a correlation of 0.98 and a standard error of 0.98 MJ m-2 day-1. This good performance is attributed to the spatial averaging of the radiation fluxes over the entire day, and the relatively low sensitivity of the calculated solar irradiance to sphere albedo.  相似文献

Surface solar radiation (SSR) can affect climate, the hydrological cycle, plant photosynthesis, and solar power. The values of solar radiation at the surface reflect the influence of human activity on radiative climate and environmental effects, so it is a key parameter in the evaluation of climate change and air pollution due to anthropogenic disturbances. This study presents the characteristics of the SSR variation in Nanjing, China, from March 2016 to June 2017, using a combined set of pyranometer and pyrheliometer observations. The SSR seasonal variation and statistical properties are investigated and characterized under different air pollution levels and visibilities. We discuss seasonal variations in visibility, air quality index (AQI), particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5), and their correlations with SSR. The scattering of solar radiation by particulate matter varies significantly with particle size. Compared with the particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter between 2.5 μm and 10 μm (PM2.5?10), we found that the PM2.5 dominates the variation of scattered radiation due to the differences of single-scattering albedo and phase function. Because of the correlation between PM2.5 and SSR, it is an effective and direct method to estimate PM2.5 by the value of SSR, or vice versa to obtain the SSR by the value of PM2.5. Under clear-sky conditions (clearness index ≥0.5), the visibility is negatively correlated with the diffuse fraction, AQI, PM10, and PM2.5, and their correlation coefficients are ?0.50, ?0.60, ?0.76, and ?0.92, respectively. The results indicate the linkage between scattered radiation and air quality through the value of visibility.  相似文献

The paper includes the reconstruction and analysis of rare historic records of relative humidity (RH). After having highlighted the story of the development of the hygrometer, the paper considers two instruments that in 1783 were submitted to the prize of the Theodoro-Palatina Academy of Sciences, Mannheim, for a new hygrometer with comparable readings. De Saussure proposed a hair wound on a cylinder connected to a pointer and Chiminello a goose pen fixed to a glass tube and filled with mercury. Chiminello won the prize for the corrections of the temperature dependence. In the Astronomic Observatory, Padua, two rare parallel series of RH observations were made in the same place, and at the same sampling time (tree readings a day) with a Chiminello and a de Saussure hygrometer, over the 1794–1826 period. A study was made to know these instruments and interpret the readings. A replica of the goose-quill hygrometer was built to verify in the lab instrumental performances and calibration problems. After having recovered the data, calibrated the instrument, transformed readings to modern units (%), corrected errors and homogenised the series, the paper compares the RH variability in Padua between early and recent instrumental measurements. It includes predictions of RH for two periods of the 21st century, concluding that no major modifications are expected. The paper highlights the importance of looking for metadata about early station sites, instruments and observers, in order to reconstruct early series as correctly as possible.  相似文献

业务实践表明,AREM模式对中国暴雨有较好的模拟能力。当前AREM模式中可供选择的边界层参数化方案比较单一,而不同边界层方案对暴雨的模拟差异较大,所以在AREM中引入一种新的边界层方案是提高其性能的一个重要方面。本文介绍了在AREM模式中引入Mellor-Yamada-Janjić(MYJ)边界层方案的关键技术与流程,并对MYJ方案的模拟能力进行了评估。模式对2008年四川暴雨的模拟结果表明,MYJ方案有助于改善模式预报的降雨落区位置。   相似文献

Results of verification of the relative humidity forecasting performed by using a number of numerical models are presented. Efficiency of forecasting of possible conditions combinations that cause the aircraft icing, such as negative temperature and high relative humidity, is assessed. The best results are demonstrated by the NCEP global model and semi-Lagrangian model with varying resolution. Significant discrepancies in the humidity initial fields modeled by using different models are revealed.  相似文献
