Abstract

One frequently sees suggestions that all surveys for title purposes should be connected to the geodetic framework. These come most frequently from geodesists, and the utility of a geodetic control for land-titles surveys is sometimes used as an additional argument in favour of the institution of such work in areas not yet subject to accurate control. I think few surveyors will be found in opposition, certainly not the writer.  相似文献

Most normal requirements of photocontrol for mapping are outlined in terms of accuracies, patterns and densities of points, and methods of identification. An established mapping organisation is well able to make the necessary allowances for particular local difficulties. Ground control remains an expensive, high risk and time consuming part of the map production process which should be kept to a minimum by using aerial triangulation and airborne control where appropriate. Once the GPS (global positioning system) satellites become fully operational, the approach to control will have to be reassessed.  相似文献

我国滑坡遥感已有20多a的历史,作为区域性滑坡宏观调查的主要手段曾为山区大型工程建设的滑坡灾害调查及防灾减灾工作 作出了重要贡献。上世纪末以来,由于采用了“数字滑坡技术”和高分辨率遥感数据,滑坡遥感成为能更准确的定性、定量的调查手 段,甚至可进行大型个体滑坡的详细调查和监测研究。“数字滑坡”技术的实现主要依赖于遥感技术、数字摄影测量及图像处理技术 、GIS技术和计算机技术的支持。该技术大致可分为3大部分: 滑坡基本信息获取、信息存贮和管理及专题服务技术。本文以三峡库 区、四川天台乡滑坡、金龙山滑坡及易贡滑坡遥感调查及监测说明“数字滑坡”技术的专题服务应用。  相似文献

Abstract

The Inaugural General Meeting of the newly-formed Land Surveying Division of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors was held at the Headquarters of the Institution in London on Wednesday, 14th December, 1949, when the following paper was read by Brigadier M. Hotine, C.M.G., C.B.E., F.R.I.C.S., Director of Colonial Surveys. This meeting, which is the precursor of others that are to be held in future at regular intervals, is of particular importance to surveyors since it was the first occasion on which those of them who had joined the Institution recently, but. werenot members oj any of the Committees appointed in connection with theformation of the Land Surveying Division, had been able to meet together as a separate Division of the I nstitu.tion, and thus to take their part in one of the Institution's normal activities. Brigadier Hotine's paper, together with an account of the Proceedings of the meeting, was published in the January issue of the Journal of the Institution and readers who belong to the Institution will thus already have had an opportunity of reading it. A large number of our readers, however, do not belong to the Institution, and do not see the Journal, and hence, and especially considering the special importance of the occasion and the intrinsic interest to all land surveyors of the subject with which the paper dealt, we have obtained the kind permission of the Editor to reproduce from the Journal the text of the paper and of the discussion which preceded and followed it.  相似文献

Abstract

Since 1929 much of the primary triangulation carried out by the Geodetic Service of Canada has been preceded by an aerial reconnaissance of the areas: during this reconnaissance a tentative selection is made of station sites, and likely lines of sight are indicated. Varied types of topography have been covered—mountainous, rolling, flat wooded, mountain valleys. In most cases there were three common factors: the areas were well watered with lakes and rivers which permitted low flying in safety with pontoonor skii-equipped planes, ground transportation was difficult, and no contour maps existed. In some of the areas existing maps were very incomplete; of a few, reconnaissance aerial maps were available in which the planimetry was good; the better the map the easier the aerial reconnaissance. In all cases it was considered necessary that the air operations be checked by ground visits to the tentatively selected stations.  相似文献

A development corporation presents unique mapping requirements to a commercial survey organisation. The background to the specialist problems encountered relates to the history of the growth of development corporations in the UK, commencing with the establishment of Letchworth Garden City. The New Towns Development Corporations were responsible for relocating city centre businesses to obtain better amenities for the workforce; many substantial mapping contracts for these new towns were completed by rival survey companies. The next generation is represented by the inception of the Urban Development Corporations, with the aim of promoting urban renewal. The London Docklands initiative is an example of recent development where the most modern surveying techniques need to be employed. The expanding market of spatial data management offers a major opportunity for survey organisations if financial rewards can be safeguarded.  相似文献

本文给出了重力异常的变密度层间改正、变密度地形改正计算公式。首次采用文中提出的移动拟合法,分别按变密度和常密度应用快速Fourier变换(FFT)进行了平均空间异常的计算。证明应用变密度时提高了计算精度,在大山区对5′×5′值的影响一般在10mgal左右。(1gal=1cm/s2)。按本文提出的方案,完成5′×5′地壳密度参数的计算时,精度可达:0.05g/cm3  相似文献
