依据渤海湾顶南侧、河北省黄骅北部地区4个钻孔岩芯样品微体古生物学、孢粉地层学研究以及沉积构造与地球化学背景分析,讨论了该地区MIS3阶段以来海侵期与气候期对比、海侵层中潮坪与浅海沉积单元的判别、沉积作用对孢粉和海侵记录的影响。依据海相世系微体生物出现确定的海侵层,可分为滨岸浅海~河口湾、潮坪、泻湖、分支河道、边滩、滨海低地、河间地~洪泛盆地等不同环境;含有孔虫或广盐海相介形类的地层,除了局部河流进积~退积作用,尚不能排除风、水、鸟的搬运,包括风暴潮的影响,并非是与海水体积变化有关的海平面变化;海侵层中的潮坪~浅海沉积单元才与海水深度有关,其他海水之上形成的地层所见海相微体生物,是地壳沉降背景下风暴潮和其他动力搬运的埋葬群,与海面变化无关,甚至仅是在东部沿海大平原构造沉降背景下河口位置向陆地移动的结果;海侵的发生与海域的扩大以及夏季风强度增大,物源区植被状况好转,造成海侵层出现乔木花粉,但是为异地埋藏。一般说来,还原背景下的沉积地层孢粉记录丰富;弱氧化~弱还原背景下的沉积地层孢粉相对较少,但也可能出现孢粉丰富的特例,氧化背景下沉积地层孢粉更稀少,全新世大暖期结束于约5kaB.P.。沉积学研究,包括对同期异相和突发事件沉积作用的理解,对晚第四纪研究是十分重要的。  相似文献

华南中二叠统栖霞组沉积了一套特殊的碳酸盐岩地层,该套地层富含有机质和硅质结核,是中国南方四套区域性海相烃源岩之一.在野外露头上,灰岩-泥灰岩韵律层因为其抗风化能力不同而受到广泛关注,其在整个华南栖霞组分布广泛.其中,灰岩层富含各种生物碎屑,主要包括钙藻、有孔虫和腹足,其次还有腕足,棘皮类和介形虫,偶尔见苔藓虫和三叶虫.灰岩层中较好的保存了易碎的钙质藻类,说明灰岩的胶结作用发生在成岩早期,没有明显压实作用的痕迹.泥灰岩以粒泥生物碎屑灰岩和黑色钙质泥岩为主,主要的生物碎屑以腕足和介形虫为主.生物碎屑都非常破碎,壳体大都平行层面,颗粒之间发育大量压溶缝,说明泥灰岩层经历过强烈的成岩压实作用.基于对灰岩-泥灰岩韵律层的生屑类型和成岩现象的分析,提出差异成岩作用来解释该套地层的形成过程:泥灰岩层中不稳定的文石在早期成岩过程中溶蚀,然后迁移到灰岩层中形成方解石胶结灰岩层;随后机械压实作用和化学压实作用主要发生在泥灰岩层中;最终灰岩-泥灰岩层由于差异成岩作用导致其抗风化能力不同而形成不同的露头特征.其中文石溶蚀发生在海水埋藏环境,有机质的分解为其提供了动力来源,这与栖霞期较高的原始生产力相符合.  相似文献

海相沉积型锰矿的成矿过程受古海洋沉积环境影响,而古海洋环境又与超大陆聚合与裂解、极端地质事件、生命演化等密切相关,因此,海相富锰地层是岩石圈、水圈、大气圈和生物圈等多圈层耦合关系与物质循环相关信息的重要载体。深层海水缺氧模型、最小氧化带模型和幕式充氧模型都显示海水中氧化还原梯度的变化是导致锰矿形成的最主要原因。全球范围内海相沉积型锰矿主要形成于古元古代、新元古代和显生宙3个地质历史时期。其中,元古宙时期,地球上发育了完善的氧化还原分层的古海洋结构;古元古代早期和新元古代,超大陆裂解引起的海平面升降变化导致古海洋氧化还原结构产生动荡,并促使大规模沉积型锰成矿作用发生;地球沉寂期(1800~800 Ma)涵盖了整个中元古代,这一时期仅在华北地台发育了少量沉积型锰矿床,反映该时期古海洋中锰的迁移受到了抑制;显生宙地球再次进入活跃期,经历了数次海洋缺氧事件,冰室-温室气候交替促使海水的化学性质剧烈变化,并在局部氧化还原分层的沉积盆地中富集形成沉积型锰矿床。总之,古海洋氧化还原环境的变化是沉积型锰矿形成的必要条件,同时,区域性沉积盆地的结构、海平面的升降、火山作用导致的物缘供给等多种因素都会影响沉积型锰矿的形成。与沉积型铁矿相比,沉积型锰矿对局部海水化学性质的变化更加敏感,综合研究铁锰矿床的共生与分异过程,将有助于更加有效的识别不同尺度的沉积过程与古海洋环境变化。  相似文献

古近系心组红岗段是广东三水盆地的主要生油层,以一套黑—灰黑色页岩沉积为主,其富含有机质、纹层理发育良好的岩层与相对贫有机质、含微体生物化石的微扰动层交替出现。根据纹层状页岩与生物扰动页岩的C-S-Fe关系以及对氧化还原条件敏感的痕量元素(Mo、U、V、Co、Ni、Pb和Cu)地球化学记录,对这两种不同岩相的地球化学特征及其所反映的水体氧化还原条件进行了分析。纹层状页岩的TOC、S含量和DOPT值均较高,TOC-S、TOC-DOPT显示较弱的相关性;而生物扰动页岩的TOC、S含量和DOPT值相对较低,TOC-S、TOC-DOPT相关性显著。痕量元素在两种岩相中的分布也有差别,各元素在纹层状页岩中的丰度均高于生物扰动页岩,尤其是Mo和U具有较高的丰度水平、且在不同岩相中显示明显差别。黑色页岩中的C-S-Fe关系和痕量元素(特别是Mo和U)分布反映了心组红岗段沉积时期湖盆水体的氧化还原条件变化。生物扰动页岩沉积期间,底部水体主要为氧化环境,间歇性出现贫氧条件,硫酸盐还原作用发生于沉积物/水界面及其以下沉积物中。纹层状页岩形成于缺氧的底部水体条件下,水体和沉积物中均可含H2S,为有机质保存以及对氧化还原条件敏感的痕量元素的富集提供了有利条件。  相似文献

江西乐平沿沟剖面均一的碳酸盐相岩沉积, 完整地记录了二叠系-三叠系界线附近生物演变过程.通过对该剖面系统的化石切片研究, 共鉴别出有孔虫27属39种, 包含类4属7种.该剖面有孔虫的演变在二叠纪-三叠纪之交呈现出单幕式的消减过程, 对应于华南两幕生物灭绝中的第1幕.有孔虫的个体数和多样性在21-2层顶部发生了突然降低.4个不同有孔虫组合的演替关系, 揭示了有孔虫在灭绝事件中的演变过程, 即由灭绝前的高丰度、高分异度组合转变为灭绝后低丰度、低分异度组合.通过对二叠系-三叠系界线处鲕状灰岩的化石和沉积特征研究, 发现Hindeodus changxingensis带内的鲕状灰岩中仍存在较为丰富的有孔虫等化石.剧烈的海平面变化以及鲕状灰岩形成使下伏地层中的化石颗粒发生再沉积作用, 是形成这一特殊现象的主要原因.通过对鲕状灰岩中化石和沉积特征的深入研究, 论证了该鲕状灰岩形成于二叠纪-三叠纪之交大灭绝之后, 是当时特殊的海洋生态系产物, 反映了当时较高的海水回旋速率、微生物繁盛、海水碳酸盐超饱和等异常的环境条件.   相似文献

本文将深海岩芯高分辩率记录的替代性指标分为沉积型和生物型两类。沉积型替代性指标主要包括沉积物的粒度,沉积速率,粘土矿物;生物型替代性指标主要包括有孔虫,氧同位素,古水温,有机碳通量。对比研究发现,17940—2柱状样沉积物的粒度、沉积速率、有孔虫,氧同位素,古水温,有机碳通量等指标记录海洋环境变化信息程度优于其它替代性指标;沉积型替代性指标与生物型替代性指标记录海洋环境变化信息不同步;海洋环境变化的突变与渐变影响替代性指标记录的同步性。  相似文献

研究缺氧的古海洋环境,对了解显生宙的地史具有重要意义。罗兹和莫尔斯(Rhoads等,1971)综合了一些现代缺氧盆地的资料,并根据沉积组构和大型动物群特征,建立了一个与氧有关的生物相模式。此后,这个模式的若干变化形式在古环境重建中获得了成功的应用。然而这些应用一般只能描述岩层中三种与氧有关的相。一般说来,缺氧相是通过不全大型底栖生物的纹层状地层来鉴别的,而充氧环境则表现为丰富多样的大化石和很强的生物扰  相似文献

本文报道了湖北宜昌王家湾剖面五峰组笔石页岩段观音桥层发现的遗迹化石Chondrites的分布及其生态特点。结合生物相和同期上扬子海盆相对海平面的变化,分析了盆地水体底域在缺氧一富氧转折时期的古氧相变化特征:指出五峰组笔石页岩段上部地层沉积底域为典型的缺氧环境,在其与上覆观音桥段之间的沉积转换面附近发生了从无氧到有氧的转变,观音桥段中Hirnantia动物群繁盛于富氧的海底环境。  相似文献

有孔虫属微小原生动物,不同的属种对其生态环境的选择不同。浙江鸡笼山C3-P1剖面有孔虫分布于盆地相、开阔海-局限海台地相灰岩中,并与相应环境的底栖生物共生。盆地相有孔虫还与放射虫共存。根据有孔虫的特征、伴生生物反映的生态环境和周岩的岩石结构、沉积构造所反映的沉积环境,将该剖面有孔虫划分为三个组合、七个亚组合。它们分别反映了盆地、广海陆棚及陆棚边缘、开阔海台地和局限海台地五个相带、七个亚相和十六个微相。盆地、广海陆棚、开阔海台地有孔虫组合所赋存的微相具有良好的油气生成能力。经搬运后堆积的有孔虫组合所在微相储集油气的性能较好。  相似文献

An Upper Cretaceous black-gray-red bed sequence was deposited in the Tethys-Himalayan Sea where abundant foraminifera, especially planktons, were yielded. In the shallow shelf to the upper slope on the north margin of Indian plate was recorded an extinction-recovery-radiation cycle of foraminiferal fauna highly sensitive to paleoceanographical changes. The black unit, consisting of the Late Cenomanian-earliest Turonian beds, displays a major extinction, with keeled planktonic and many benthic species as the principal victims at the end of the Cenomanian when existed only low diversity, sin-face water-dwelling foraminifera. The gray unit spans a long-term recovery interval from the Turonian to the early Santonian with keeled planktonic foraminifera returning stepwise to the water colunm. The planktonic biota in the red unit, extremely abundant, indicate a biotic radiation during the Late Santonian and the Early Campanian, implying that the high oxygen levels had returned to all the oceanic depth levels,and that the water stratification disappeared, followed by the radiation of all depth-dwellers. The variation on foraminiferal faunas from the whole sequence refers to the extreme warm climate that appeared in the Middle Cretaceous and to the declined temperature toward the late epoch. Substantial deposits for this warming and cooling zones represent the black shales in the Middle Cretaceous and the red beds in the later period of the southern Tibet. The change in the foraminiferal composition corresponded to the formation of dysaerobic facies and to the development of high-oxidized circumstances.  相似文献

The Napo phosphorites were deposited at the edge of a stable marine shelf during the Upper Cretaceous (Coniacian) oceanic anoxic event (OAE 3) at the transition from bioclastic limestone to organic-rich shale facies. Phosphogenesis was triggered in the shelf margin environment by a number of factors including strong upwelling currents, high biological activity, plankton blooms, and large amounts of organic matter production and subsequent accumulation. Dissolved phosphate levels increased in the sediment from a combination of anoxic conditions and microbial activity. Once dissolved phosphate concentrations were high enough, apatite began to form around nucleic sites including mineral grains, shells, wood fragments, and foraminifera tests forming peloidal fluorine rich carbonate fluoroapatite (francolite). As the peloids formed, sedimentation continued and dissolved phosphate concentrations diminished. A period of minor winnowing ensued, and as dissolved phosphate concentrations remained low, shale layers were deposited separating the various phosphate layers.  相似文献

The reconstruction of palaeo-oxygenation levels in marine deposits from the Cretaceous has obtained a huge interest all around the world in recent years. This fascinating topic is here pointed out for the first time in the Austral Basin using the information provided by the black shales of the Río Mayer Formation, Patagonia, Argentina. The combination of sedimentology, ichnology and geochemistry (TOC, Ce anomaly and MnO content) allow the identification of three major intervals respecting the oxygen content. During the Berriasian and early Valanginian anoxic conditions prevail in the outer shelf. After that, between the late Valanginian and Hauterivian dysoxic palaeoenvironments were developed. Finally, a more oxygenated palaeoenvironment occurred since Aptian associated with a progradation of a proximal deltaic system. The identification of anoxic conditions is of much interest for the hydrocarbon research in this stratigraphical unit, which represents the most significant source rock of the Austral Basin.  相似文献

白垩纪是地质历史中的最大海侵时期。海平面的升降改变了海洋的物理、化学及生物因素,从而影响了有孔虫的演化与发展。根据对有孔虫丰度、分异度及演化类型的研究,认为西藏白垩纪最大海侵时期形成于赛诺曼期与土仑期的界线附近。此后海平面总的处于下降趋势,只是在康尼亚克期至三冬期海平面又有回升。马斯特里赫特末期有孔虫的大量灭绝反映了白垩纪与第三纪界线事件的影响。  相似文献

Benthic foraminifera is the first kind of eukaryotes reported to carry on denitrification, which breaks the understanding of the eukaryotic metabolic way. Numerous studies have demonstrated that the contribution of benthic foraminifera to sedimentary denitrification exceeds the prokaryotes. Furthermore, benthic foraminifera stores large amount of nitrate intracellularly, which far exceeds the amount of nitrate in pore water. These findings challenge our understanding of the nitrogen cycle in sediments. The study of foraminiferal intracellular nitrate storage and denitrification is significant to figure out the metabolic way of eukaryote in anoxic environment and to quantify the balance of nitrogen in marine environment. The history of foraminiferal intracellular nitrate storage and denitrification study was discussed. In addition, the distribution of foraminiferal intracellular nitrate and denitrification rates in marine environment was also discussed. The latest research progresses about the related mechanism were also summarized. Finally, the problems and challenges in present and future studies were discussed.  相似文献

Carbonate rocks contain prolific hydrocarbon reserves all over the world, particularly in the Middle East. For exploration and production strategies, it is essential to understand carbonate reservoirs in terms of their internal characteristics, depositional environment, relative age, diagenetic processes and impact on petrophysical properties. This study has been performed on exposed Cretaceous, Paleocene and Miocene marine carbonate sedimentary sequences in two localities (Maghdoucheh and Qennarit) near the city of Sidon (Southern Lebanon). It represents the first comprehensive study that takes into consideration the carbonate reservoir facies, diagenetic history and reservoir quality in the area. Rocks at Maghdoucheh are mainly dominated by limestone beds showing sedimentary structures and erosive bases alternating with microfossil-rich silty marls, related to a shallowing upward sequence in a restricted marine platform environment. Shells of benthic foraminifera and mollusks dominate the fossil assemblage extracted from the studied rocks. The microfossil and nannofossil assemblage detected in the Maghdoucheh sections indicates a middle Miocene age. Rocks at Qennarit are composed of mudstone/wackestone limestone beds rich in planktonic foraminifera and nannofossils related to open marine conditions. Based on the nannofossil content, rocks from Qennarit 1 and 2 are Paleocene and Cretaceous in age, respectively. Four main types of microfacies have been identified, i.e. (1) microbioclastic peloidal calcisiltite, (2) pelagic lime mudstone and wackestone with planktonic microfossils, (3) grainstone/packstone with abundant foraminifera and (4) fenestral bindstones, mudstones and packstones with porostromate microstructures. The porosity-permeability (poro-perm) analysis of representative samples reveals moderate to good porosity but very low permeability. This is mainly due to the presence of large moldic pores that are isolated in nature. The diagenetic features are dominated by micritization and dissolution (both fabric selective and non-fabric selective). Among all diagenetic features, dissolution in both localities contributes to porosity enhancement, while micritization, cementation, compaction and the filled fractures have negative impacts on permeability; hence the overall reservoir quality.  相似文献

亚丁斯克期华南滇黔桂地区沉积环境分异明显,主要发育局限或半局限海台地沉积区、开阔海台地沉积区和台地边缘沉积区,不同沉积区䗴有孔虫动物群面貌也有所区别。本文详细研究了黔南地区的猴场打望剖面和惠水竹子冲剖面阿瑟尔期—亚丁斯克期的地层,在打望剖面识别出4个䗴类化石带,由老至新为Pseudoschwagerina beedei-Sphaeroschwagerina constans共存延限带、Staffella xiushuiensis-Eoparafusulina contracta富集带、Pseudofusulina ellipsoidalis富集带和Misellina subcycloidea间隔带。竹子冲剖面识别出3个化石带,由老至新为Pseudoschwagerina uddeni-Sphaeroschwagerina sphaerica组合带、Eoparafusulina certa富集带和Staffella discoides延限带。对滇黔桂地区不同沉积相区剖面䗴类动物群以及沉积相特征的综合研究显示:开阔台地或台地边缘环境的䗴动物群以Pamirina为特征分子,同时还产出丰富的希瓦格䗴亚科(Schwagerininae)分子;局限或半局限台地环境的䗴类以史塔夫䗴亚科分子(Staffellininae)为主。沉积环境对䗴有孔虫的影响可能主要来自水动力、光照和氧气含量。个体较大、隔壁褶皱强烈的纺锤形希瓦格䗴亚科分子更适应水动力强、透光性好、氧气充足的水体;小个体、结构简单的史塔夫䗴亚科分子可在透光性差、含氧量较低的水体中生存。  相似文献

地质历史时期曾发过许多对生命的演化进程造成过重大影响与制约的全球性地质事件,白垩纪—古近纪就是一个重大地质事件频发的时期。随着冈瓦纳大陆在中生代时期的解体,全球海陆格局发生了根本的变化,地球的表层和岩石圈层均发生了重大的改变,由此引发了构造运动空前活跃,发生过诸如大洋缺氧事件(OAE)、大洋富氧事件(CORBs)、白垩纪/古近纪(K/Pg)生物大灭绝事件、古新世—始新世极热(PETM)事件、印度-亚洲板块碰撞、新特提斯洋的演化及最终消亡等一系列的全球性重大地质事件。对这些重大地质事件的研究,有助于加深我们对古海洋、古地理、古环境的认识。尝试追踪和捕捉这些重大地质事件,恢复和重建古地理,其基础是建立精确的年代地层格架。西藏南部保存了中国最为完整的海相白垩纪—古近纪沉积,完整地记录了上述的全球性重大地质事件,通过对札达、岗巴、定日、亚东、江孜、萨嘎和吉隆等地区高分辨率浮游和底栖有孔虫、介形虫、钙质超微化石和放射虫生物地层学研究,可直接约束全球性重大地质事件发生的时间,并为重建新特提斯洋古海洋环境和古地理提供证据。此外,在重大地质环境突变期间生物的演化过程,也可为探明极端环境变化发生时期气候-环境-生物之间的协同演化关系提供证据。本文系统总结了课题组为主的近年来对藏南白垩纪—古近纪海相地层中微体古生物学的研究成果及重要进展,并对未来研究提出展望。  相似文献

The distribution patterns of benthonic and planktonic foraminifera in cores from the Ionian Basin, central Mediterranean, were investigated in relation to the deposition of sapropel S-1. The sapropel is a dark organic-rich sediment deposited under anoxic conditions during the last marine stagnation in the Early Holocene. The major divisions between both benthonic and planktonic faunas correspond to changes in the core lithology and coincide with the transitions between pre-sapropel, sapropel/'oxidized layer' and post-sapropel sediments. The faunal evidence shows that the oxidized layer belongs to the sapropel sequence. The planktonic faunas have the same species composition as in the sapropel sediment and the high density of planktonic species continues into the oxidized layer. The oxidized layer is devoid of a benthonic fauna or contains a 'sapropel-associated' fauna composed of infaunal species with an affinity to high supply of organic material material and low oxygen. High depletion in the heavy oxygen isotope in the oxidized layer substantiates the faunal evidence. A peak in abundance of the planktonic species Globorotalia inflata at the top of the oxidized layer marks the time when turnover of the water masses ended the stagnation phase and sapropel sedimentation in the Ionian Basin at about 6000 BP. The distribution of the benthonic and planktonic foraminifera shows that the sapropel in the central part of the Ionian Basin was originally almost twice as thick as it is today. When oxygen returned to the deep sediments the top of the sapropel was oxidized to 4–7 cm below its original surface. Only the lower part of the sapropel is preserved. The remainder is now a red laminated layer, the 'oxidized layer'.  相似文献

The Early Cretaceous Fahliyan Formation (middle part of the Khami Group), is one of the important reservoir rocks in the Zagros Fold-Thrust Belt. The Zagros Fold-Thrust Belt is located on the boundary between the Arabian and Eurasian lithospheric plates and formed from collision between Eurasia and advancing Arabia during the Cenozoic. In this study area, the Fahliyan Formation with a thickness of 325 m, consists of carbonate rocks (limestone and dolomite). This formation overlies the Late Jurassic Surmeh Formation unconformably and underlies the Early Cretaceous Gadvan Formation conformably at Gadvan Anticline. The formation was investigated by a detailed petrographic analysis to clarify the depositional facies, sedimentary environments and diagenetic features in the Gadvan Anticline. Petrographic studies led to recognition of the 12 microfacies that were deposited in four facies belts: tidal flat, lagoon, and shoal in inner ramp and shallow open marine in mid-ramp environments. The absence of turbidite deposits, reefal facies, and gradual facies changes show that the Fahliyan Formation was deposited on a carbonate ramp. Calcareous algae and benthic foraminifera are abundant in the shallow marine carbonates of the Fahliyan Formation. The diagenetic settings favored productioning a variety of features which include cements from early to late marine cements, micritization, dolomitization, compaction features, dissolution fabric, and pores.
